Hey guys! It's been a long time lol. I'm realllly sorry I haven't uploaded lately, I've been super busy at school recently. But I've had some free time these past few days so I decided to post a short chapter. I hope you guys think this one is as good as the other ones, I hope to have chapter 12 finished soon!

After wrapping up their trip, Soma and Erina headed home to get prepared for the new school term. The trip had turned out to be something that was more fun than they ever expected for both of them.

A day before the term started, Soma headed over to Erina's mansion in order to give her a new dish he was working on. They were going to settle their Shokugeki once and for all in a few days, but that didn't stop Soma from trying to catch Erina calling his dish delicious when her guard was down.

Soma had let himself through the gates as he now had a key to the place, and he stopped at the door and knocked because he was still a guest and not a permanent resident of the mansion. Yet.

After a few knocks Soma scratched his head and wondered if Erina had forgotten he was coming over, but just as he was having doubts he saw the front door creak open. However, he wasn't expecting someone besides Erina behind the door.

"Yukihira Soma. May I ask what you are doing here?"

"Oh, hey Mana-san. I was just stopping by to give Erina this dish I just made. Figured she has been overworking herself like she likes to do and has skipped dinner because of it. You can have some if you'd like!"

"I'd like that a lot, Soma. With Erina cooped up doing her work the past few days and

Asahi out of town, it's been hard getting meals made from competent chefs. But as the man Erina has chosen I have no doubt that you will impress."

"Thanks, I hope Erina is impressed too."

With this Soma heard a door fly open, and he saw Erina quickly moving down the stairs to join them.

"Look who decided to show up." Soma teased.

"S-Sorry. I was caught up in getting everything ready for the start of the term tomorrow and didn't see your text message until right now. Mother, I hope he didn't didn't cause you any trouble!"

"What are you talking about Erina? Of course I didn't cause your mom any trouble, I actually even offered her this amazing dish I wanted you to try. Now let's go to the dining room, I know you skipped out on dinner and probably lunch because you were so immersed in your work."

Before Erina could protest, Soma grabbed her by the hand and was leading her to the dining room. Mana thought the two looked cute together, and was glad that Erina had finally found the thing called love.

"C-can't we wait like an hour? I was almost done with what I was doing so I want to at least finish that before taking a break."

"That depends on your answers to the following question. When's the last time you've eaten something?"

She looked away from him, a bit guilty.

"Um, breakfast. I had a light omelette."

"And you think that's enough for you until past 6 oclock?"

"Well, no but I was busy working on some schedules I knew had to be done and…"

Before she could go on and on and try to justify why she hadn't been eating, Soma had sat her down in a seat and began plating the dish for her.

"Obviously I'm not going to let you go back up there with an empty stomach, and besides, this dish is best piping hot! I've been experimenting with new fish dishes lately and wanted your opinions on them. You might just admit it's delicious and I would win our Shokugeki right now!"

Erina knew Soma had a point with everything he said, but there was another reason as to why she was trying to delay things.

"Two Yukihira fish specials, for the two god tongues!"

Erina looked at the dish and licked her lips. She knew it would taste amazing. As it usually did. She looked over at her mother who was about to take a bite, and only hoped that she would not give Soma too much praise because she knew that if she did that it meant Soma would try to pressure her into telling the honest truth about his dish, and she was having more and more trouble not calling his dishes delicious with every passing day.

Mana took a slow bite, and then proceeded to devour the rest of the dish in mere minutes, even quicker than Erina who was really hungry.

"Well Mana-san, how was it?"

Both Soma and Erina eyed Mana, Soma because he was honestly curious as to what she thought and Erina hoping that she wouldn't give too much away.

"Honestly, it was delicious Soma. Thank you very much for the meal. If you don't mind I'll be leaving now, I've got some matters to attend to."

Once Mana exited the room, Erina could feel Soma's gaze on her. Why had her mother had to go on and say it was delicious?! It surely was but now she knew Soma wasn't going to let her off the hook easy this time.

"So Erina, how was it?"

Soma said as he walked behind her, entering her personal space.

"I-it was good. Thank you."

"Just good? Even though your mother who also has the god tongue just said it was delicious? I'm sure you should have the same assessment since that's the case."

Soma knew he had won this round. He got really lucky that Mana was there and said what she did, but he wasn't going to let a chance like this slip away where he could tease Erina.

"L-listen. Each person has their own preferences, so different people like things more than others, and that is no different with god tongue users!"

"Ok Erina, whatever you say" Soma said in a teasing way.

A thought appeared in Erina's mind and she found an easy way to turn the tables.

"Soma, I'd like you to come with me to my room right now since while you're here you might as well help me finish my work!"

"Ack! That sounds like paperwork!"

"That's what you get for acting like you own the place, showing up out of nowhere!"

Erina got up front her seat, and grabbed Soma by the hand and led him up the stairs. He tried to escape her grip once and duck out the door but he got a glare sent his way upon doing this, so he decided to just suck it up and do whatever work she wanted him to do. With Erina there it shouldn't suck so badly he thought. Besides he was actually glad he could help her, since she had been working so hard alone the past few days. The two entered the room and Soma saw on her desk his worst nightmare, tons of papers.

"Woah Erina that sure is a lot of papers the-"

Before he could finish, he was cut off by Erina pinning him up against the wall and crashing her lips onto his, in an affectionate kiss. After coming to his senses, Soma kissed her back, and they swapped positions, now with Erina up against the wall. After almost a minute, the two separated for air, still remaining in close proximity. It was Soma who broke the silence.

"Were you waiting all this time to do that?"

"Of course I was. There was no way I was doing that when mother was around! I was hoping to get you up here earlier but then you had to make a big deal and show off at dinner!"

"So next time I should forgo the delicious food offering and instead offer myself?"

She blushed heavily at the directness of his statement.

"No! That's not what I was saying! Well, not entirely. I want both actually."

"I always knew you were greedy, Erina."

And with this Soma leaned down and kissed her again, just as passionately as the first time.

"Now I'm assuming that you actually want to get your work done instead of making out all night?"

"Well yeah, I do have to get a lot done tonight, but that doesn't mean you have to leave. We can just make out half the night and spend the other half finishing up the work. That sound good to you?"

"That sounds amazing, never have I been more motivated to finish work faster." He chuckled

Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, I thought it would be interesting to write an interaction between the two god tongues and Soma. Only a matter of time until Erina says delicious it seems.
