Simon pulled from the hug, slipping Lilli's shoes as she asked "where are we going?" A little excitement yet nervousness
"I'm gonna get you some sweets and a toy, yeah?" He said as he slotted both her arms into her coat and did it up
"Yeah!" She giggled, getting up and running to the door as Simon walked after her
"Si.." Peter tried to say before his son left with his daughter
"Sweets!" Lilli squealed as she took Simon's hand and began to walk, down those famous cobbles she'd hardly seen
"Love.." Peter knocked on the bedroom door, resting his head against it before walking in
Carla was sat on the edge of the bed looking down
He began to walk over, sitting next to her and rubbing her back "I'm sorry.." he said softly
"Yeah me too.. I'm just sick of this pregnancy already" she looked to him, tears streaming down her face
"My back aches, my legs ache, my hormones are all over the place, I'm sick everyday, it was easier with Lilli but since it's two it's double everything" she sobbed
"Yeah double the money" he said with a chuckle which made her chuckle
He wiped away each tear of hers "I shouldn't have suggested moving in together it's too soon" he said
"No! I want to.." she interrupted with a smile
"Only if you're sure love.." he stroked her hair and she nodded
"Ok" he nodded back with a smile before getting up
"Where you going?" She looked up at him as he pulled a suitcase off the top of the wardrobe
"I am taking you.. well the family on holiday" he smiled to which she perked up, helping him take the other suitcase down which made him laugh
"Where are we going?" She asked as she unzipped the first one
"Ooh.. Cornwall? We could see the Newquay lights, Padstow Harbour, St Austell Brewery" he asked
"Sounds perfect except the brewery cause no more relapses for you mister" she smiled before beginning to pack their bags
Simon walked in with Lilli who had her bag of sweets and a new toy which was a doll, she ran off into the bedroom to show Carla what she got
"Ah Si!" Peter walked out to see to his son
"How would you feel coming on holiday to Cornwall with me, Carla and Lils?" Peter asked
"Depends, how long for?" He asked
"Um.. well we'd like to see most of Cornwall so a week maybe longer?" Peter said
"Where would we sleep.." Simon asked
"Um.. well we can book a hotel I guess" Peter shrugged
"Yeah go on" Simon smiled, running to find his little sister as Peter rubbed his hands together smiling proudly
Simon ran into the bedroom and picked Lilli up, tickling her as she squealed, her sweets falling all over the floor
"Oh no!" Simon said playfully, putting Lilli down and picking them up, eating a few
"Hey!" She stood up, stamping both feet on the floor with annoyance
He laughed and put the rest in her bag
"Out!" She pointed to the door her face annoyed as Simon walked out she pushed the door shut and Peter laughed
"Great bonding session" he tapped his sons shoulder laughing
Peter filled the boot of his car up to the brim, suitcases, toys, blankets you name it they had it
"Right is that everything?" Peter said with annoyance
"I think so!" Carla shouted, putting on her jacket in the flat upstairs
"Good cause I'm not putting anymore in there!" He shouted back
Lilli ran downstairs giving Peter her backpack "don't forget this daddy" she grinned as Simon watched on leaning on the wall, Carla walked downstairs
That was the first time she'd called him daddy, she pulled open the car door as Carla helped strap Lilli into her car seat
"Yeah of course sweetheart.." he said, smiling beaming through his face as he opened the boot to put her backpack in a load fell out and he groaned with annoyance
"Daddy!" Lilli called out again which instantly calmed Peter and Carla smiled widely
"That's right yeah" she stroked her hair and shut the door
Carla helped Peter load everything back into the car and Simon got in and they were finally ready to go to Cornwall
"Right where to first?" Peter said as Carla set the satnav up
"Penzance as it's the end of Cornwall, we can work our way up" she said, inputting into the the satnav
"Lands End.. Cornwall" she muttered to herself
"Hang on that's not Penzance, that's Penwith" he corrected her
"Well no but we can drive to Penzance, we can see St Michael's Mount then" she slotted the sat nav in
"How come you know so much.." he started the car up and began to drive
"I lived in Devon Peter.. that's on the outskirts of Cornwall" she smiled
"When you drive forward, turn left.." the Sat Nav's voice faded out as Carla looked out of the window
"Keep going forward.." the Sat Nav zoned back in as Lilli cried out
"Mummy!" She shouted
"She's had an accident.." Simon says quietly
"Oh.. where are we?" Carla asked
"Bristol, just entered" Peter said
"Ok can you just pull in Taunton Dean Services" she rubbed her eyes, getting the stuff out of her bag as he pulled into the services
Carla walked to tend to her daughter who looked embarrassed, crying her eyes out
"Si why don't you sit in the front so Carla can sit with Lilli for a bit" Peter smiled and he nodded getting in the front seat
Carla cleaned the car seat up and pulling a new pair of underwear and leggings on her daughter before they set off again
Holding Lilli's hand as she slowly stopped crying, Carla gave her her juice bottle as she sucked away she watched the cities lights as it dawned to 4pm, the weather getting darker as they got nearer the ocean
She thought to herself how nice the views in Cornwall were last time and where they could go, a huge smile across her face as she prepared for their first family holiday
