Luz waited for the clawed hand to strike her down, but they never came. She opened her eyes and saw Eda's hand just a few inches above her. Eda's head started twitching and her eyes close. When they open it was Eda's normal yellow eyes.

"Luz! W-what are you doing here?!"

"Eda!"

Luz got up and hugged Eda, in all of her feathery glory.

"Kid, you have to get out of here." Eda said.

"Not without you! I came here to save you-"

"And from the looks of it, that almost killed you."

"I'm not leaving without you!" Luz noticed something, "Can you fly with those wings?"

"Yeah, why?"

Luz grabbed her staff and climbed on Eda's back.

"Because we're flying out of here. No arguments."

Eda noticed that Luz won't back down and decided that it was best to listen. Eda took off, making sure to take Luz back to the castle. She landed in front of the castle and Luz got off.

"LUZ!"

Belos and Camila came running out, both of them were angry and concerned.

"Mija, why would you leave the castle!? Do you have any idea how worried we were for you?!" Camila said.

"I-I-I had to... save Eda. I-I-I'm fine."

Luz's vision started to get dark and stumbled a little.

"Luz? Are you okay?" Belos asked.

"I... I'm-"

She was cut off when her vision went fully black and she felt herself fall down. The only thing she heard was three voices calling her name at the same time before she was finally out cold. She woke up, and from the position of the sun, late in the afternoon. She looked around and saw she was in a Healer's bed in the medical wing of the castle. She noticed her staff leaning against the wall next to her and looked at her stomach. She was wearing a light grey hospital gown. She moved it up and noticed the stitches on her stomach. She let the gown fall over her stomach again and looked at the ceiling. She was pretty sure they drugged her or something because she was still pretty out of it. So out of it she didn't notice a woman with bright orange hair sit next to her bed.

"So, did they make this place just for you?"

Luz looks to her left and see the orange haired woman.

"Eda?" Luz asked, not sure if she's still drugged or not.

"In the flesh!" Eda said with a laugh.

"Y-your hair."

"What, is it messy?" Eda said, smiling, "Your old man held up his end of the deal. I'm now curse free. As an extra he managed to make me look younger, how do I look?"

"Amazing." Luz said, tiredly.

Luz summoned her scroll and was about to call Amity, when she noticed the date.

"I've been out for two days?!"

"Kid, calm down. You clearly needed sleep; how much sleep did you get in the three days I was gone?"

Luz mumbled something that Eda didn't hear.

"What was that?"

"I didn't sleep! Okay! I was plagued with nightmares! I was too afraid to sleep. I was too much of a coward."

Eda pulled Luz into a light hug.

"Coward? Kid, you came to help me all by yourself. You were beaten and cut in order to save me. Why, though? Why did you come get me by yourself?"

"I don't leave my family behind." Luz said, "You are my family."

Eda felt tears of joy fill her eyes and hugged the girl more.

"You're family to me too, Kid."

Later, Luz was in her room getting her normal clothes on when she noticed something in the distance.

"Nathaniel."

Luz ran out of her room, staff in hand and ran all the way to her father's throne room.

"Mami! Dad!"

"Luz? What's the matter?" Belos asked.

"Nathaniel is coming!"

Before anything else could happen, Nathaniel appeared in the center of the room.

"Hello, Big Brother. Miss me?"

"I won't miss you when I smack that smug look off your face."

"Oh, is that any way to treat family? Especially after they are believed to be dead for over 14 years."

"You won't be faking it after I get done with you."

Belos ran at him and punched him hard across the face. Nathaniel stumbled a little before laughing.

"Why don't you take your gauntlet off and try that again?"

Belos went to hit him again but Nathaniel dodged and hit Belos with his own punch. That one punch broke off almost half of Belos mask and sent him to the ground. Belos gets on his hands and knees and pulls off the rest of his mask and tries to get up.

"Face it, Alex, I've always been stronger and better at fighting then you."

"Maybe." Belos starts making a spell circle that Nathaniel couldn't see, "But I've always been better at magic!"

He moved his spell circle and blasted Nathaniel with a large blast of fire. Nathaniel is blasted back into a wall. Eda came in after hearing the noise. She saw Nathaniel and cracked her knuckles. She was more than ready to kick his ass. He smirks and makes his own spell circle and gets ready to hit Eda with a spell. Right before Eda gets hit with a dangerous spell that could kill her, she gets pushed out of the way. The person that pushed her out of the way got hit with the spell and sent into the wall so hard that it was cracked. Eda looked at who pushed her out of the way and instantly ran over to their limp body.

"Lily?! Lily, can you hear me?!" Eda screamed.

Unknown to Eda, when Lilith pushed her out of the way, her portal key was dropped. Nathaniel picked it up and smiled. He quickly grabbed Luz by the neck, resulting in Luz dropping her staff, and started walking backwards.

"Hurts doesn't it, Alex? Knowing that, as long as I have your little girl that I'm untouchable." He opens the portal to a world with green trees and starts to walk into it, "It's been fun, but I have a world to conquer."

Luz managed to get out of his arm and slipped behind him. She kicked him back through the portal and held out her hand. Her staff flew to her and she spun it, making a spell circle with it. The only way to make sure he doesn't come to this world is to destroy his way to it. She slammed the butt of her staff against the door. The portal caught fire and was soon destroyed. Luz knew it was the only way to do it, seeing as the door was opened in the human world portion, and she realized that this meant she would be trapped in the Human Realm. She fell to her knees and started crying.

"Lo siento, mamá. Lo siento, papá."

In the series, she got stuck in the Boiling Isles. Here, she got stuck in the Human world. This is what I had planned for a while and, if it wasn't for that stupid problem that we had with Fanfiction, it would've been out a week ago. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
