A/N: I got carried away with the story than the smut. All well. I had fun with this and wanted to explore it more.

2...

Kuon shifted his sleep as a jangle pierced the quiet dark room. He coughed trying to clear his dry mouth as he rose up to answer his phone on the nightstand.

"Hello?" He answered with a gruff voice.

"Kuon," Kyoko's voice filtered through his phone sobbing. He immediately shot up in bed fully awake.

"Kyoko, what's wrong? What happened?" He asked as he turned on the lamp and looked at the clock. It was a little after 2 am, so it was what... noon there? He struggled to think.

She sniffed delicately on the phone. "I'm so sorry for waking you up, but I need you. Kuon I'm so sorry," she wept a little louder. "I need to see you. Would it be possible for you to.…"

"I'm already on the way," he told her. He was up and stuffing clothes in a small duffle bag the moment he heard that first sniffle. "It will take me a bit but I'll get there. Until then tell me what happened. Take your time."

"I don't want to do this over the phone."

"Do what?" he asked as he threw on whatever clothes. "Did you get hurt? Did something happen on set? On the street? Did someone break in your place? You should call the police if…"

"No, Kuon, No," she stammered. "Nothing like that happened. It's just…" her voice drifted off and she sighed. "I'm being stupid, and I just don't know and I'm afraid. I'm afraid of what you'll do."

"Kyoko, what is wrong? Tell me please? Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be fine," he consoled as he stormed out of the apartment.

"Will it? I just don't know," she whispered.

Kuon slammed the car door closed and he pleaded with her, "Kyoko, please. What happened? Tell me something."

She took a deep breath and let it out loudly on the phone. "I'm not hurt. Nothing bad has happened on set or at all. I just really, really need to see you."

He started up his car. "Okay. Okay. I'll be there as soon as possible."

Kuon called Yukihito and updated him on the situation, or what he knew about it. Thankfully, Extort had finished a few days ago, but it was risky leaving so soon after finishing the shoot. Still, no one would blame him for jumping on a plane. Thankfully, Yukihito was one that would bend over backwards for them and would cover for him if needed.

Sixteen hours later, Kuon landed tired and stressed. He grabbed a ride to her place and groaned exhausted. It was early in New York, but even at 5am it was crazy busy. He tried to sleep on the aircraft but it was fitful and short. Honestly, he wanted an extra large coffee or an extra large bed, but he felt like he wasn't going to get either.

It took almost an hour to get through traffic but he arrived at her building and ran her buzzer. There was no answer even though he rang it three times. Whipping out his phone, he rang her up.

"Hello?" Her voice was thick with sleep.

"I'm here. Let me in."

"You are? Oh, oh um. Here." The door clicked and he heard the little buzz that let him know it was open.

He pushed through and took the stairs three or four at a time up to the third floor. He arrived at the door and knocked once before she opened it. God, seeing her in person after all this time gave him the rush he needed for whatever happened.

"Kuon," she cried out and threw herself into his arms. He hugged her tightly and shuffled them into the apartment. He dumped his bag to the side and closed the door with his foot. She instantly started to cry and his heart broke wishing he knew what was going on.

"Shhh," he whispered softly and stroked her hair. "It's okay. It's okay," he repeated.

After a few moments, her voice softened and he pulled away to look at her. "Now can you tell me what is going on? What has got you so upset?"

"I'm not upset," she clarified. "I'm afraid. I'm afraid of what you are going to say."

"About what?" he exasperated.

Kyoko pushed away and timidly looked down. She then pointed to the side and walked away. Kuon looked at her and then where she pointed to. She had a small two-seater table in the corner of the room and there were over a dozen white sticks lined up on it. He glanced at her before moving. She had moved to pace back and forth in front of her bed, her hands were wringing together nervously.

He stepped over looking at the table top. Little white sticks with different colored caps. His heart started to pound as he stepped over. His heart knew what those were. His eyes recognized them instantly. Yet, his brain was having immense trouble connecting the dots.

Several sets of pairs lined up on the table. All different shapes and sizes all saying different things but the same thing.

Two lines

Plus sign

Yes

And finally, the most obvious one. Pregnant.

He fell to his knees and Kyoko gasped. He picked one up simply to touch it. To see if it was real. He looked at the indicator and the simple little legend on the side. Pregnant. He looked at another one. Pregnant. And another. Pregnant.

Pregnant.

Pregnant.

"You're pregnant?"

"That's what all fourteen of those say. You know one would think that having a sale on pregnancy tests would be weird or uncalled for. But it was surprisingly handy when I went to the store and bought them. I mean I bought all of the brands available."

"You're pregnant?" He repeated stunned.

She nodded frantically. "I'm pregnant."

Kuon swallowed. "You're pregnant with my child?"

A crossed look marred her face. "Are you seriously asking me that?"

He slowly stood up looking at her with bright shining green eyes. "You're pregnant. You're carrying our child?" He walked slowly towards her.

Her own eyes started to water. "Our child?" she licked her lips. "So then you are okay with this? I know we talked about it, but I don't think either one of us thought it would be this soon."

Kuon stepped up and cupped her face. A tear fell down her cheeks as he tilted her face up to his. "Am I okay? I'm more than okay. The love of my life is having my child. I didn't know I could be this happy."

She sobbed and swallowed a lump in her throat. "Really?" Tears freely ran down her face. "So then this is okay? You are okay with this?"

He laughed softly and nodded. "Yes. Yes. I'm going to be a dad! We are pregnant. We are going to have a baby. Our baby." He leaned down and kissed her.

She kissed him with salty shaky lips and then laughed softly. "Thank God. I had all these terrible ideas running through my head. I had no idea what you were going to say." She wept softly.

"Kyoko," he sighed and shook his head. "One of these days, you are going to have to learn that no matter what happens, I'm in this with you. I love you." He went to his knees and wrapped his arms around her waist, and he nuzzled his head against her stomach. He closed his eyes and squeezed. "We are having a baby."

Kyoko smiled and stroked his hair happily.

"How did you find out?" He asked.

"Um, I threw up on set. Someone was eating something that made me really nauseous. Then another person made an off handed comment and then I started to think about when I had my monthly cycle and… 7 boxes later," she told him and then waved her hand towards the table.

"How far are you?"

"I'm guessing a month? I don't know."

"Is it a boy or girl?" He asked.

She laughed. "How am I supposed to know that?"

"I'm sorry, you're right," he grinned. "I'm just so excited." His hands lifted her shirt and he kissed her stomach.

"Hi there little one," he cooed at her stomach. "I'm your daddy. I'm going to try to be the best daddy ever." He looked up at her. "And I know this woman standing here in my arms is going to be the most amazing mom."

Her eyes were hot with threatening tears and her heart was hammering within her. She looked down at the most wonderful man in the world and couldn't believe that he was hers. "I love you," she whispered, placing her hands on both sides of his face. She leaned down and kissed him. "I love you." She kissed him again, leaning into him and forcing him to take her weight. "I love you so much."

She opened her mouth and licked his lips begging for entrance. She sunk down against him, sliding down into his lap. Their kisses grew deeper and more passionate as she straddled his lap. His arms slipped around her, holding her closely. He squeezed her to him and lifted her up. He went to his knees and managed to get to his feet as she clung on to him, still kissing him.

Kuon crawled up on the bed and put her down. He pulled up from her lips and smiled softly at her. My wife. The mother of my child. My Kyoko. He went to his knees and slipped his hand under her shirt. She lifted her arms up letting him push the shirt off. Since she was dressed for bed, there was nothing but her lovelies beneath the garment. His fingers hooked into the band of her shorts and pulled everything down her shapely legs. It felt like forever since he last saw her, last touched her and all he wanted was to recharge on her skin, her taste, all of her.

He ran his hands over her legs forcing the breath out of her lungs in a rush. She bent her knees up towards his hand as he curved around to her thighs. He circled around to her inner thighs and stroked down to her center. His thumbs stroked down the soft folds of her sex and she moaned out loudly.

"I barely touched you, sweetheart," he teased.

"Sorry, it feels like it's been forever since you've touched me," she blushed. He smiled because he was thinking the same thing.

"Then let's remedy that," he murmured and dipped down to kiss downy center. She let out a throaty moan and closed her eyes relishing in the feel of him gently licking her, teasing her clit. She spread her legs further apart but he did not increase his speed. It was like he was savoring every lick, every little moan from her throat. The wave washed through her like warm water. Her back arched up off the bed, her voice let out a soundless cry as her body convulsed against his lips.

Kuon rose up and undressed as she panted in the middle of the bed. He crawled up and slipped his arm beneath her waist. He lifted her up higher on the bed and laid down on top of her. He kissed her soft and sweet. Heat rushed through her at the taste of her arousal on his lips. His hands roamed over her skin and up to capture her breast. Kyoko hooked her leg over his hip and the other around his leg. She rubbed her foot up the back of his thigh and over the curve of his butt. She grinded her hips against his groin making him break the kiss with an exhale of breath.

He shifted above her, raising up to his elbows and guided himself slowly inside of her. She groaned and murmured under her breath, "Soo good."

"Very, very good," he replied softly, making her smile up at him. She arched into him, tipping her hips up towards him. That little action made him move against her and his head dropped on the mattress beside hers. He exhaled, pulsing up into her. Her nails raked down his back and her soft little mewls filled his ear. All he wanted was to hold her close, to feel her around him, and never let go. He knew these few months were going to be difficult, bracing himself for her absence, but seeing her now, touching her, making love to her and knowing that she was with child.

I don't want to leave. He lifted his head to look down at her. Her head rested to the side, eyes closed, and her swollen red lips parted letting the rush of air escape her lungs at every thrust. I want to stay with her. Her nails dug into his ribs as he hit a favorable spot. He increased his tempo and her voice moaned in appreciation. Every day, every night. Her hips rose up to meet with his, driving home that final eruption within her. She gasped and tensed all around him. His beautiful wife flushed red and seemed to glow beneath him. He sunk down, wrapping his arms around her. I need her. I need to be with her. Her hands slipped around him as he rocked into her and he moaned softly as he spilled into her.

"I love you," he whispered softly. He kissed her shoulder softly. He hugged her tightly and she happily sighed. Her wake-up alarm went off and he squeezed her tighter.

"Kuon," she called out to him muffled by his chest. "Is everything okay?"

"Yes," he breathed. "I just…" he hesitated, "I want to hold you before you go."

She giggled and hugged him. "Well let's at least turn off my alarm. Yeah?"

He chuckled and pulled an arm from beneath her to reach for her phone. He swiped at the dismiss and the room returned to silence. Kyoko ran her hands over his chest and kissed his jaw. He smiled and moved back slipping to lay on his side.

She snuggled up against him and whined, "How am I supposed to go to work knowing you are here?"

"Will it help to know that the moment you step out that door I'm going to be out cold asleep?"

"I'm so sorry," she pouted. "When um… do you have to go back?"

"I'm not," he answered and it made her sit up.

"What?"

"I'm not going back without you." He smirked up at her. "Don't you want me here with you?"

"Yes, I do," she stammered. "I would love to have you here, but is that okay? I know I selfishly made you come all the way over here, but what about your work? There is no way your schedule can be cleared that quickly for the next three months."

"I don't care. I need to be here with you and the baby."

"Kuon, I'll be back in Japan long before the baby is born. You can't cancel everything until my film is done," she reasoned.

"I can," he shifted onto his back on her tiny bed and then finished, "and I will. It will be fine."

She frowned and slipped out of the bed grabbing her phone. Kuon rolled onto the middle of the bed and slipped under the covers. Kyoko put on her bathrobe before making a call.

"Yashiro-san, how long is Kuon allowed to stay in New York?"

He scoffed, "Tattletale."

"A week? Does that include the flight? No? Okay. thank you. Ah yes, yes everything is okay. I'm so sorry. Oh Um, hold on." She held the phone down from her mouth and spoke directly to Kuon. "Are you okay telling him?"

He shrugged and lifted his arm indicating that it was her choice. She returned the phone to her ear and blushed. "I'm um… pregnant."

Kyoko flinched as she pulled the phone away from her ear and even Kuon heard the ear-piercing scream. Kuon shook his head and chuckled. When the sound died off, she timidly returned the phone to her ear.

"You done?" She asked and then smiled as gushy words of congratulations filled her ear. "Thank you. Yes, I will tell him. Yes," Kyoko turned to him and met his green eyes smiling. "We are happy." She blushed when he graced her with one of his heavenly smiles and had to look away. He could hear Yukihito chatter constantly on the phone and Kyoko's smile slowly started to disappear.

"Really?" she said softly and moved to sit down. "No, I haven't told them." Kuon frowned as he watched her. What is he telling her? He forced himself up to shift down the bed towards her. "Does that mean I'm going to lose the part?"

"What is he saying?" Kuon said angrily and took the phone from her. "Repeat what you just said," he ordered.

"Congratulations!" Yukihito squealed once hearing his voice.

"Thank you Yukihito, but what are you talking about her losing the part?" He clarified and their manager sighed.

"I didn't say she was going to lose the part. I told her that the production company may have some reservations about her staying on the project what with her being pregnant and all. No one wants a miscarriage tainting their film because of a stunt gone wrong."

He groaned. He didn't think of that. "She simply won't do the stunts. It's not a big deal," Kuon stated and Kyoko stiffened beside him.

"Let me read over the contract before you go all He-man to defend your wife. I don't want any underlying clauses ruining her chances. I want her to stay on the film too. When is the doctor's appointment?"

"Ah," he moved the phone and tapped her arm. "Did you schedule a doctor's appointment yet?" She shook her head.

"We need to make one. Why?" Kuon asked.

"I want to know how far she is. And proper check-ups and such - standard stuff. Do a physical to see her overall health and such. They will tell her what she is safe to do and can't. Be sure you get a clear line drawn for what she can and can't do for the production team."

Kuon narrowed his eyes at him even though he couldn't see it. "How do you know about this standard stuff?"

"Sisters and my mother had the last of the Yashiro children when I was 15 so I remember what she went through to a degree. I remember lots of doctor's appointments and doing things for her when she got big," he explained.

Kuon didn't question it any further. "Kyoko thinkd she's about a month in," he told Yukihito.

"Then that would be good. If she can get the filming done before she starts to show, then the odds of the production company letting her stay is in her favor."

"Right. Okay. Can't we simply not tell them?" Kuon asked for her sake.

"I would not advise it. She is carrying a child, and while women can continue to work until the day of their delivery, Kyoko shouldn't be wearing a harness and jumping off four-story buildings in her condition. Honestly, if I knew you guys were trying to have a baby, I would have never suggested she try for an action role."

"Right. Sorry," Kuon said, not really knowing what to say to that.

"It's fine. Again. Let me read the contract and I'll get back to you with what her options are. Meanwhile, again! Congratulations, Kuon! I know you two will make beautiful babies."

Kuon couldn't help but smile as he muttered a thanks and then goodbye. He hung up her phone and quickly wrapped his arms around her.

"Kyoko, they are not going to make you drop the film. It doesn't matter what the contract says," he told her.

"But the baby. The film is not worth losing our child. If doing the film is going to endanger the pregnancy, then…"

"Okay you are going too far too fast. First, let's make a doctor's appointment. Then we will speak to the director," she stiffened in his arms. "Relax. They can't make snap decisions about this on the spot. We will talk. Get more precise questions and then some answers before anyone makes any hasty decisions."

She nodded a little too quickly. "And if all else fails, we can pull out the big guns," he added.

"Big guns?"

"My family," he said with an underlying threat. "They think they got this raising starlet from Japan to be in their film that the world doesn't know, but they have no idea the actual connections you have."

She shook her head, "Kuon, that's not right."

"We'll only step in if they treat you unfairly, and if you, from the bottom of your heart, want this film. I will make sure you can have it," he said resolutely. He raised her lips and softly kissed them. "I love you, and nothing about this pregnancy should make you feel like you are missing out on something. I'm here to support you and so is mom and dad. Are they still here? Have you told them?"

"Yes, they are here," she answered, "and no, I wanted you to be the first person I told."

He smiled and kissed her again, a little longer this time making her melt in his arms a bit. "Then we should celebrate tonight. Don't think about anything else other than the fact that we," he reached around her and pressed his large hand on her stomach, "created our first little person."

"First?" she squeaked.

He grinned. "More things to talk about."
