F3: Hello readers and welcome once again. The final match of the Vytal Tournament is about to begin. RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. Senka Linwood is owned by MountainKing312 while Akane Shidou and Diana Mirai are owned by Decode9. I also own Team SPIR, Melanie Tora, and Ophelia Sorrel. With that said Let's get this started.

Volume 3-28: End of Days (Part 1)

In Vale City Akane along with her team were figuring out what they need to do since they'll be holding the final match later tonight which also meant that whoever this enemy is that Ozpin mentioned to them was probably going to make their move and soon.

"Okay does anyone have any idea who this enemy is or even what they look like?" Akane asked.

Senka only shook her head "Not sure. From what we know of Ozpin said Salem is after the maiden powers. In which we know that Star and Cinder are the current maidens but I have a feeling that Ozpin might've already implimented his fail safe just in case." She replied crossing her arms.

"Though who else would Ozpin think would be his fail safe." Diana said.

Melanie thought a moment as she recalled some of the competitors that were in the tournament as she thought of someone in particular.

"Pyrrha Nikos. She is Ozpin's fail safe. Her skills in combat are impressive to say the least. He's most certainly got her involved in all this. That also means we're going to have watch her as well. Ozpin wants us to make sure nothing happens the maiden but they don't even know that were even doing this for him." Melanie added.

"You got a point." Diana replied as she turned to Akane.

"So what's the plan leader?" She questioned as Akane began to think of what to do next. She took a moment to think of an idea as she then spoke.

"Well... the best thing we can do is keep an eye on each of them but also keep an eye out for anything else out of the ordinary." Akane started.

"Diana. You and Senka watch over Cinder. Melanie you got Pyrrha and I'll take Star. Just make sure to be careful." Akane replied.

"The best chance for us to keep an eye on them would be during the tournament. They'll most likely be their. If their not in the stands they'll mostly likely be out and walking around." Akane added as the rest of them nodded in agreement.

"Okay then let's get rolling. Just make sure to keep your eyes and ears open." Akane finished as the group left their hotel room and decided to head toward the arena.

Rina was in the practice field as she was trying to get used to her new weapon as she slashed at the dummy she was practing on. She then switched to its whip mode wrapping around the dummy before tossing it into the air. Then pressing the button her weapon detached into drones before swarming the drone on every side slicing and slashing the dummy in every direction.

The dummy fell down with a loud thud seeing the damage done as it's torn in multiple areas of the dummy. The bladed drones returned to her reforming back into its sword form. She took off the visor from her right eye still getting used to it since she'll be using it for the last match. It's not like she needs any more pressure or anything. More importantly she hasn't gotten word back from Roman to see how he was doing or anything which started to make her worry about what was going on up in the main airship.

"So this is where you've been hiding." Cardin's voice echoed. She looked behind her and noticed he was their but without his armor only in a simple black shirt and blue jeans.

"I thought you'd be hanging out with the team." Rina said sheathing her sword.

"They'll be alright without me for a bit. Thought I could come see how you're doing." Cardin replied.

"Just getting myself ready for this last match. And getting used to this thing. I think I got it down." She said though she doesn't sound so confident which didn't go unnoticed by Cardin.

"You okay?" He asked.

Rina sighed at this "Well... I'm just a little worried about this whole thing. I mean its a lot of pressure to put on me. I really don't want to disappoint my team and I really want to win this final round. But what if I choke and screw this whole thing up." She said as she hugged herself.

Cardin sighed as she walked over to his girlfriend and gave her a comforting hug almost engulfing her.

"Hey. You'll be fine. Your team won't be disappointed if you don't win. Win or lose you just give it your all out their okay." Cardin said soothingly which did seem to calm her nerves.

She let out a small sigh as she gave him a small kiss on the cheek.

"You are quite the smooth talker you know that." Rina said.

"I try." He said as he returned the kiss planting one on her forehead as he removed himself from the embrace.

"I'll be cheering you on in the finals." He said before giving her a light love tap on her butt which made her jump a little.

"Good luck." He added before walking off.

The small talk did help raise her confidence more as she was more than ready to take on her opponent in the last round. Though she whipped out her scroll and looked at the time. She noticed she still had about three hours before she had to head over to the arena as she turned back to the damaged dummy and decided to spend some more time to train with her weapon.

Meanwhile in Vale Penny had just returned to the small military camp to give the great news about her progressing to the finals of the tournament. She immediately went to her destination where she could hope that general Ironwood was still their. However as she was about to enter the tent she overheard the general speaking.

"Everything is in place Jacque. Once the tournament finals are completed Miss Trill will be arrested. Along with the help of Penny it's a guarentee that she'll be captured." Ironwood replied.

"You seem quite sure of yourself general. However you are too quick to think ahead. If this Rina person is as skilled as that snake says she is then she'll mostly likely be difficult to capture." Jacque said on the other end.

"If Penny somehow loses the match I have the ace operatives on standby and will be scattered throughout the arena to make sure she doesn't get away. I also have Euryale and Carmen as a little insurance policy." Ironwood replied.

"Well this plan of yours had better James cause you know what happens if she gets away from you don't you." Jacque said knowingly.

"Believe me sir she won't get away from us." Ironwood replied.

"Good. Contact me the moment you have her and I'll put a date for the supposed trial." Jacque said as he hung up.

Ironwood only sighed the moment Jacque hung up but he knew he wasn't going to be detered from his mission and what he has to do. He felt a pressence nearby as he turned around and it was Penny nearby standing outside the tent.

"Ah Penny. I take it you have some good news I hope." He said putting his hands behind his back.

"Yes sir. I have returned to inform you that I have made it to the finals of the tournament. It also seems that Team SPIR has also made their way to the finals as well." Penny informed.

Ironwood nodded at this "Very good Penny. This means we're only one step closer to our mission objective." Ironwood replied.

"Though sir how can we be certain that she'll compete." Penny said with concern.

Ironwood turned away from Penny before he grabbed something on the table "I wouldn't worry about that. I'm one hundred percent sure that Ms. Trill will be competing in the final match." He said as he pressed a button on his scroll.

"I'll take her on." Rina's voice echoed through the tent.

"You sure she is a tough opponent. I mean she beat Cardin and Russel in five minutes. You sure you'll be okay lasting against her?" Stars voice echoed through as well.

"The reason why they were beaten was because they weren't prepared for what kind of defense Penny would bring. Heck I would bet her partner isn't really a teammate more than likely an associate to help her get through to the finals. Beside I know I can take her." Rinas voice said sounding confident.

A few moments past until Star's voice spoke again. "Okay if this is what you want then I won't stop you."

"I know you won't let us down." Star voice said again before Ironwood turned off the recording.

"After my last visit I placed a bug in Ozpin's office for me to gain access to his audio systems which is sent to my scroll as recordings. This allows me to keep a closer eye on things. And thanks to this I'm now certain that Rina will be in the final match. Which is convenient for you to show up just in time Penny." He replied.

"May I ask what this'll be for general?" Penny questioned.

He then went over to another table as he picked up a sword like weapon simular to what Penny uses in her combat.

"I want you to use these in the last round." He said.

"Huh? But sir those look just like my current equipment. Why would I need those to battle Rina?" She asked.

"While your weapons are impressive these ones are a bit special. I want you to use them in the last match." He added.

"What do you mean special?" Penny questioned.

"You'll find out when you use them." He said.

Penny stared at the weapons as she began synchronize with the sword as they began hovering toward her. The blades itself then folded in on itself as the backpack on her opened up and it went inside her pack.

"I'll be sure to use it." Penny replied.

"Very well. Your dismissed." Ironwood ordered.

Penny gave a salute before taking her leave as to prepare for the last round.

Ironwood sighed hoping that his plan would work.

"Keeping everyone in line general." Euryale replied coming from his side as he only glanced at her.

"And where have you been Euryale?" He asked.

"Oh jussst handling ssssomething that will help usss in the future." She hissed as was fiddling with some kind of pendent on her neck.

It had a gold chain on it along with an occular design with some kind of eye in the middle of it surrounded by a black and brown frame.

In another part of the campsite the Ace Operatives were waiting for their mission to be assigned.

Harriet was currently enjoying her small meal as the rest of them came over to join her.

"Little lonely over here aren't you." Clover replied.

"Not lonely. Just thinking about something." Harriet snipped back.

"Oh c'mon. We know you far better than that Bree." a loud womens voice said sitting across from Clover.

The women is question is tall yet muscular that has brown to tan colored skin with a dark brown medium length hair with a short ponytail at the end. She also has dark brown eyes. She wears an Atlesian Specialist uniform that consists of an open white, one-sleeved crop jacket with dark blue accents, shoulder flaps and collar and a dark gray shirt. She has silver vambraces over her forearms She has a red belt around her white pants and goes barefoot save for some martial arts footwraps alongside dark blue calf plates that cover the tops of her feet, the plates have three red straps tied around them. She also has a silver hoop earring on her right ear.

This is Elm Ederne.

"You're nervous about this aren't you. We've done this before its nothing different than the last times." Elm replied truthfully.

"I don't think your helping the situation Elm." A rather calm male voice replies that is sitting next to Harriet.

The man is question is a tall man with short shaved gray hair, deathly pale skin and light blue eyes. He has several tattoos, including a third eye tattoo along the centre of his forehead and chin. He wears an Atlesian Specialist uniform that consists of a white double-breasted, partially unbuttoned coat with a broad tail, navy blue accents, collar and shoulder flaps. A red sash running diagonally over his left shoulder meeting a second red sash around his waist under a large blue belt, and navy blue fingerless gloves that go up to his brachium. He wears navy blue pants tucked into a pair of navy blue thigh-high boots with steel toe and heel plating, a small pouch on the sides and kneepad detailing. He wears beaded necklaces around his neck and beaded bracelets around his right arm alongside two silver bands, one small, one large on his left forearm.

This is Vine Zeki.

"From what I was informed this Spider is nothing short of a teenage girl that has infiltrated the academy as a student in order to continue her operations. I wouldn't have any doubt that she's working with someone else as well in the matter." Vine said calmly as he ate his meal.

"Well that is just one theory you know." Another males voice spoke up.

The man sitting to Elms left has a dark skin complexion with long greenish black hair and blue eyes. A noticable feature is that his dark gray tail which means that he is a faunus.

Like the other in the room he wears an Atlesian Specialist uniform that consists of a white double-breasted coat with silver buttons, dark blue accents, collar, shoulder flaps with matching cuffs that have two silver buttons. The coat's tail splits, allowing his tail to move freely. He has a dark blue belt with a silver buckle around his waist with a dark blue pouch on the right side. He has a red ascot tied around his neck. He wears a red shirt under his coat. He wears dark blue trousers tucked into his black knee-high boots.

This is Marrow Amin.

"Oh. And just what kind of theory would you have Marrow?" Vine questioned.

"Well... first of all if she infiltrated the academy just to steal. Why not steal from the academy that you just infiltrated and not waste time going to other places in Vale. I mean academys must have something important their hiding." Marrow said.

"While that does make for a sound theory Marrow but I only have one question to ask then. If the academy had something to hide then what is it that their hiding and why?" Vine questioned which only seemed to confuse Marrow.

"The heck should I know." He simply said.

"Then I rest my case." Vine added.

Clover only shook his head at the two "Okay you two that's enough. We have our orders to not engage until after the fight is over reguardless of who wins." He emphasized before looking toward Elm.

"That means no jumping the gun this time." He said as Elm only nodded.

"Though its going to be rather tough. In order for this to even work she has to physically expose herself as the Spider. If that doesn't work than we can't arrest her." Harriet added.

"I heard that the general is working on that as we speak. Wonder what he'll do this time." Elm added.

Though Harriet can't help that something else would be going down which Clover noticed.

"Hey. You okay?" Clover asked.

"Sorry its just... I'm getting this nagging feeling in the back of my head that something bad is going to happen." Harriet replied.

"Probably your military instincts kicking in. C'mon you better finish up or that'll get cold." Clover said as the rest of the Ace Ops finished their meals for whats to come.

Though the thought never left Harriets mind as she continued to eat her meal.

Meanwhile Weiss had returned to her dorm as she noticed Yang was still on the bottom bunk still contemplating about what Raven had said.

"Um... you okay Yang?" Weiss questioned.

"If you can describe okay as mentally punching myself then yeah sure just peachy." Yang added. To Weiss that indication means that she isn't okay.

She sighed heavily as she approached Yang and sat next to her.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Weiss asked.

Yang turned to looked at Weiss "Honestly I don't but some part of me is telling me do just get it out of my system you know." Yang replied

"Okay then. So what is it?" Weiss asked.

Yang sighed as leaned back into the bunk her arms holding her up as she stared up at the cieling.

"It's about what happened after my match. With the soldiers and everything." Yang began.

"You mean when they were pointing their guns at you." Weiss added as the blonde nodded.

"It... reminded me of something that happened at Signal during my first year." Yang began.

"Everyone their already knew I was the best fighter and of how good I was. Though I had this one kid in my class that just kept on trying to be better than me but I've proved him wrong everytime." Yang started as she slightly smiled at that memory.

"Though one day he issued a challenge to fight me during lunch period. So we met up in the courtyard and we had ourselves a fight. After about ten minutes the fight was over and he was laying flat on his back. That was when the bell rang for lunch to let out and that was when he had this stupid grin on his face. I went to leave to meet up with the class and next thing I know he jumped at me from behind and..." Yang trialed off a moment before she took in a breath and let it out as she finished.

"I reacted and punched him so hard I broke his arm. I heard people gasping behind me as they saw what had happened. Not the part me defending myself. I tried to explain myself but the teachers had me called to the headmasters office their and well..." Yang paused a moment.

"What happened?" Weiss questioned.

"I got suspended for an entire week along with a warning and mom grounded me for two weeks. But I can't forget about those judgmental eyes staring at me already thinking about what they saw happening. After my suspension was up I went back but everyone just avoided me like I was the plaque or something. I said to myself that I would change and not do anything stupid." She sighed sorrowly.

"Guess I messed that up huh. Feels like its my fault all over again." Yang said sadly.

"Yang. Things aren't as bad as you think. Their only bad the more you think on them." Weiss replied as Yang looked at her.

"Yes while I admit your stubborn, hard headed, and have the temper of an angered Ursa being woke up from its nap. But you do have other qualities too. Your someone we all can rely on when things get tough, you make us laugh to forget some of our own strifes and in any case you are the backbone of this team to keep us going but sometimes that has to work both ways. Let me at least help you with your strife." Weiss replied as she got up from the bunk before offering her hand.

"C'mon. Bet you're a bit hungry after staying here for too long." Weiss said.

Yang looked at Weiss as lilac met bright blue as Yang was trying not to cry holding back the tears as she quickly wiped them away.

"Yeah... let's get going." Yang said as she the lynxs hand as the two then left for the cafeteria.

Hours have come and gone and now it was in the evening as the sun was starting to set letting off its orange hue into the sky as the crowd was starting to refill the arena as they waited oh so patiently for the final round to begin.

Meanwhile Star along with Pepper and Iona were currently in the stands as they waited for Rina to come out. Next to them was the rest of Team RWBY and Team CRMN since Neo was able to rejoin them after some rest she had in the nurses office.

"Oh man the crowd is certainly intense today." Star replied.

"Well what do you expect. This is the last round of the tournament. Of course the crowd'll be intense." Blake added as she slightly flinch at the sound.

"Though they can be a little loud." She replied still getting used to the noise.

"Let's hope things go well. She's going to need to put out all the stops against Penny." Cinder replied crossing her arms.

"Hey I'm sure she'll be fine. She'll find a way to win." Ruby said confidently.

Meanwhile in the waiting room Rina was looking over her weapons making sure that they were prepped and ready. She placed dust pellets in her pistol then locking in the cartridge.

"Alright Rina this is it. You can do this. Don't screw this up." Rina told herself as she then headed toward the arena.

"No turning back now." She said as she walked toward the arena.

Back at the arena the crowd was anticipating for the final round to begin as the announcers spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen. It has been a long time coming. Days of countless battles with each team fighting their way through to finally make it to this point. But now here we are only two teams remain. Lets us introduce our final two." Port announced as the arenas light suddenly dimmed.

"Hailing from Atlas Academy. This young girl may look harmless but has a power arsenal. Penny Polendina!" Oobleck announced as Penny came out from the left side a spotlight shining on her as she gave a simple bow.

"And next. From here at Beacon Academy. She's here to prove that she can dish it out againsht anybody now matter who they are. Rina Trill!" Oobleck announced as Rina came out from the right side of the arena a spotlight shined on her as she was ready for a fight.

The arenas lights returned to normal as the two only stared at each other.

"Now then let's decide on this final battlefield." Port announced as the dial began to spin.

However elsewhere in the crowd Yatsu held up the tablet and began to select the final stage.

"Sorry prof but I'll be choosing the stage here." Yatsu said as he went through each one before picking one that looked like a tower.

About three up from where he is Akane noticed him messing with the tablet then looked toward the holograms on the field.

"Is he controlling the arena itself." Akane thought as he then got up from his spot as he began walking out of the arena.

Akane then quickly whipped out her scroll getting in touch with one of her teammates.

"Senka. You see that big guy that just walked out. I think he's controlling the arenas battlefield." Akane replied.

"You want me to tail him?" Senka asked.

"Yeah but don't get caught." Akane answered.

"I'm on it." Senka said as they hung up. Not a moment later Senka got up from where she was and began heading out of the arena as well.

Meanwhile the center of the arena opened up along with other places of the arean as larger towers began to pop up from the arena. It looked like it had several platforms to battle on along with some points to climb from.

"Well this'll certainly be something special to remember. Can these two handle such a feat in this final showdown." Port announced as the each of them prepared themselves for the battle ahead.

Meanwhile in the upper levels of the arena Winter was waiting for the match to begin but she heard heavy footsteps coming next to her as she only groaned well knowing who it is.

"James Ironwood. What brings you here to the tournament?" She asked as the general approached.

"I thought it would be nice to watch the tournament play out." Ironwood replied his hands currently in his pocket but that didn't fool Winter for a second.

"Don't play games with me. Whenever you show up there's always an ulterior motive. Or are you here to watch you little toy play." Winter replied as Ironwood looked at her midly shocked.

"Yes James. I know about Penny. She's an android that your using to help you with your goal." Winter replied.

"I'm not sure what your getting at Winter. Whatever stories you may have heard is nothing that you need to concern yourself with. Besides talking military matters to a civilian is against the rules of secerecy." Ironwood countered.

Winter only snarled but decided to ignore it for now since she as has something else that she needs to focus on. The collar that Weiss gave her before coming to the arena weighed on her mind and wondered how it even got here in the first place.

There was an eerie air in the arena as the two competitors looked at the large tower.

"This is it. Time to give it my all." Rina thought.

The sound of a beeping was heard throughout the arena meaning it was beginning the countdown to the start. Then a very loud sound echoed signalling the start of the final match. Rina was the first to react as immediately switched to the her swords whip mode and swung at the nearest thing to latch onto as she slung herself upward toward a platform nearby.

However Penny wasn't far behind as she seemed to just jump toward the platform and made it very easily as they now stood across each other on different platforms. Penny took this time to call upon her swords for battle as she then launched them directly at Rina. She used her weapon block some of them as they bounced off her weapon but one of them actually got through and knicked her aura. However that's not what Rina when the sword hit her shoulder as it felt like the sword pierced her skin drawing a small bit of blood from the wound.

Penny's weapons returned to the side as they seem to just float next to her as Rina inspected her wound. It wasn't a deep wound but it still hurt like a paper cut.

"Okay... so that's how it's going to be huh." Rina said as she smirked. Penny once again launched her weapons at Rina but time she was ready for it. She jumped and dodged away from the attack but this time she pressed forward trying to get to Penny as she jumped the gap the was between the two.

Rina then used her weapon to wrapped around Penny's waist and tugged the girl toward her. Then in the mid air delievered a solid kick to the side of Penny's head the launching her back toward her platform with assesive force knocking a bit off of Penny's aura. Luckily Rina was able to return to her platform before she fell landing safely.

At first Penny didn't seem to get up after that last hit but then a moment later Penny kicked up from her position not even seemingly hurt from the attack.

"Wow. Not bad. You've certainly got some skills their." Penny commented as her weapons returned to her.

"Oh c'mon. I'm just getting warmed up." Rina confidently.

"Good. I like your confidence. But how much longer will that last." Penny replied which sent a chill down Rinas spine. Not wanting to waste much time Rina had to think of a different approach cause no doubt Penny want fall for the same trick twice as Penny looked more than ready for another go.

Meanwhile outside of the arena Senka was following Yatsu as to see where the big guy was going but she had to remain silent so that she wasn't caught and even if she was she'd be more than ready for a fight as she had Stormbreaker at the ready.

She noticed the big guy turned the corner as she swiftly and silently followed as she looked around the corner noticing him going inside a room.

"The operators room. Why their?" She asked herself as she carefully approached the door making sure she wasn't in front of it to risk exposure.

"Is everyting ready?" A females voice asked.

"Yeah as soon as Fox reports back then we're in good shape." Yatsu replied.

"Good. Though it is a shame that we have to kill Roman. He would've been useful to us." She said almost mockingly.

"Don't worry about that to much. He'll be out our way soon enough." Yatsu replied.

"Roman Torchwich. Do they mean that petty theif?" Senka asked herself. Not a moment later she hears a scroll ringing inside.

"I take it their all set up." The females voice said.

"Good. Now head back here." She replied as she hung.

"Fox has set the timers to go off the moment Roman presses the button to trigger the virus. It's like he's holding his own life in his hand and he doesn't even know it." The girl replied before chuckling.

"Soon this place along with the city will be crawling with grimm and they'll nothing they can do to stop it." She said as she began walking toward the door.

"And what are you going to do?" Yatsu asked.

"Oh. I think I'll pay my darling a visit then I'll go kill Ozpin. Piece of cake." She said as she walked toward the door.

Senka knowing this she immediately activated her semblance as she blended i to her surrounds to make sure she wasn't seen by anyone.

Coco came out of the room as she observed her surrounds as if she felt something nearby but she decided not to bother it as she continued on with her mission. Senka made sure that the girl was out of range as she deactivated her semblance now becoming visible.

"That girl. That's Coco Adel of Team CFVY. And what does she mean about going to kill Ozpin." She thought but she had a feeling that whatever plan they had wasn't going to end well for anyone especially if it concerned grimm arriving in the city.

She quickly went straight back to the arena to warn her teammates and anyone else that she could find.

Gun fire rang out through the arena as Rina fired her gun directly at Penny trying to land a hit while also trying to dodge her swords attacks. However Penny simply blocked each bullet with just her hand not even effect by the shot taken at her.

Rina rolled away from another sword but it managed to clip her cheek as a small bit of blood trailed from her cheek that's not even including the other small knicks around her body. Her jacket is slightly ripped from the abuse it's been getting from the attacks along with small scratches at her hips and upper chest. Her legs also suffered from the constant attacks as small scratches were apparent on her lower legs to the upper thigh.

Though that doesn't mean Penny hasn't suffered any damage either as her aura count was nearing the halfway point though it seemed like she was more hesitant with her attacks as if trying not to hurt Rina anymore than she has too as the swords returned to her.

Rina managed to take cover behind a pillar as noticed her pistol had ran out of ammo though as took the time to reload it though rather slowly.

Penny waited for Rina to come out again but then a certain voice clicked into her head.

"Penny why are you hesitating? She is cornered." Ironwoods voice rang in her ear.

"I am giving her the option of surrendering to avoid humilation. Then we'll arrest afterward." Penny responed back.

"If we arrest her without revealing who she is then the crowd will only wonder why." Ironwood said with some edge in his voice.

"Sir are you suggesting that we force her to reveal herself." Penny added.

"Correct. You know what to do then. Don't hold back." Ironwood ordered.

With that given order Penny couldn't disoby him as she focused even more waiting for Rina to come out.

Meanwhile Rina was trying to come up with a battle plan as she was breathing rather heavy.

"Those swords of hers have to be anit aura weapons. More than likely Atlas tech to deal with anyone unsettling. Time to up my game then." Rina thought as she pulled out her visor and put it over her right eye as she activated the weapons drone mode as they hovered near her.

With a big breath she rolled out of her hiding place and immediately commanded her drones to attack Penny as they flew at her at high speed. Penny not expecting this couldn't put her defenses up in time as the drones began slashing at Penny in all direction as she raised her arms in defense. Penny thrusted her arms outwards as her swords finally blocked the drones.

However that left her midsection open as Rina then opened fired with her pistol using a fire dust to shoot at her with as it impacted Pennys midsection taking out a good chunk of her aura.

However Penny remained steadfast as her swords got in front of her as they were now pointing at her then they suddenly began to spin as green energy started charging then she thrusted her arms forward firing a beam of energy at her but instead of hitting her it blasted the ground where she was with enough impact to launch her directly into the air and off the platform.

The crowd gasped at this seeing Rina falling off the platform. More importantly Star and the rest were now officially worried that serious damage would be done if not fatal.

Time seemed to slow for Rina as she trying to figure out a way to get back ontop of the platform.

"This is bad. My drones are too far off to reform into my whip and even then what am I going to latch onto." Rina thought cause she knew she needed to think of something or she might not walk out of this in one piece.

That was when she had an idea as she looked toward her fingerless glove. Even though it would expose her to who she is but right now she didn't want to be a big splat on the arena floor. So with no other option she ripped off her left glove showing her full hand and thrusted outward as a spider webbing came out and latch on fully underneath the platform.

With the elactisity of her web she launched herself upward and was able to land safely on the platform.

Meanwhile in the stands the rest of the group looked on to what had just happened.

"Um... tell me I'm not the only one that had witnessed that." Ruby added.

"Your not the only one Ruby. I swore I saw a spider thread come right out of her hand." Yang said.

"Wait... a spider thread... then wouldn't that mean that Rina's..." Star began to put things together as everything seemed to click into place.

"Rina's a faunus!" Star replied.

"But she looks completely human." Iona added.

"Yeah but she wears those gloves on her hands to hide the palms of her hands which would make it look like she's human." Star corrected.

"Then that would mean... could she be..." Pepper started but more likely she would be right. Her partner and teammate is none other than The Spider herself.

Meanwhile the battle waged on as Rina had suddenly began pressing her advance toward Penny as she finally was able to get close enough to Penny as she wrapped her weapon around the legs of Penny.

"Time to go for a ride." Rina said and with the a quick tug she managed to trip Penny before using whatever power she had begun swinging her around as she bashed her against a pillar before swinging her around again bashing her against another pillar knocking out a great chunk of Pennys aura but Rina wasn't done.

"I thnk it's about time to put an end to this." Rina said as she pressed the button on her weapon activating the lightning dust in her weapon as it trailed along the weapon as it then proceeded to shock Penny.

However it wasn't only draining her aura but it was also effecting her internal programing as her body began to shake from the shock.

"EMERGENCY! SYSTEM MALFUNCTION!" A monotoned voice said from Pennys body as smoke began coming out of her body. Rina noticed this and unraveled her weapon from Penny as she now suddenly remained still like she wasn't even moving at all.

"Incredible. Rina Trill of Team SPIR has won the tournament!" Port cheered as the so did the crowd.

However where Yatsu was as the crowd cheered he opened his scroll to contact Roman.

"Do it." He ordered before immediately hanging up.

Almost immediately the screens in the arena began to flicker as the picture of a black queen piece appeared on every screen as the intercoms activated.

"Vale. Once your greatest city. Will now be your graves. For the will of our queen. This city will burn." Yatsu's voice rang throughout the arena which made the crowd worry.

Then something hit the top of the arena glass as someone screamed above.

"GRIMM!" The person shouted. They all looked above and noticed a large winged grimm that wasn't a nevermore. It had a scaly beak with large wings and red membrane and huge talons. It slashed away at the thick glass and it was starting to crack.

"It's going to break." Star muttered. The crack expanded further before one final slash broke the glass shattering it completely.

Rina was smart enough to get out of the way not before grabbing Penny's body to it can avoid getting destroyed.

The grimm entered the arena letting out a fearful screech as the people in the crowd now began to panic as now all hell has broken lose as the grimm swarmed the arena the people shouting in fear.

The day to end all days has come.
