A/N:
Hello everyone. Hope you're doing well. Here is chapter 11. This chapter gets a little steamy...so be prepared. Oh how I love Calbrina. It brings me so much joy to write their story...well, enjoy, my lovelies!
Cheers.

It was Thursday, which meant the countdown to the royal infernal wedding was ticking down to three. My Wednesday night sleep was filled with less than platonic images of a shirtless, sculpted blonde prince. I had tossed and turned a fair bit, even kicking poor Salem out of the bed once. But I also had a feeling he could sense my anxiousness, so he was alright with my nighttime jerkiness.
Auntie Z and Aunt Hilda were still acting somewhat distant, though Auntie Hilda was coming around more than Aunt Zelda. She had shown me her choice of finery for the wedding on Saturday, which was an elegant red dress with cap sleeves, with a shimmering lace overlay. It was a simple look, but still formal enough for a Pandemonium wedding. Aunt Zelda was still not even speaking to me, so she was being left for her own devices when it came to her wardrobe choices.
During school, Theo, Roz, and Harvey were all discussing their roles and fashion choices for my impending nuptials. Roz was begging to be my maid of honor, which I obviously obliged to, seeing as she was my most important female friend. Theo and Robin had decided on similar, yet almost matching tuxes with red colored tie and bowtie. Harvey (actually Roz, but he was wearing it anyway) had decided on a simple, black slim-fit suit. I reminded all of them that they would need to meet my aunties and Ambrose at the Spellman house if they wanted to get to Pandemonium safely.
My classes passed with a slow, agonizing pace. Everything in the background seemed so unsubstantial compared to the event that was arriving within a few days. It seemed that every thought that filled my head was wedding related, and I almost wanted to rip the white noise from my ears. After the last bell of my school day had rung, I immediately headed straight home. It seemed like the safest place in the world was my bedroom, tucked beneath my homemade quilts and shut away from the world. Though it seemed that no matter how hard I tried to escape the world, it always found a way to hunt me down.
In this instance, it was a slightly callused hand peeling back my quilt from where I had covered my face with the worn fabric. When I looked up into the eyes of the hand's owner, I found two ocean colored orbs staring back at me. Caliban smiled, the tanned skin around his mouth creasing with the action. I hadn't even heard him arrive, considering his normal method of travel being a ring of Infernal flame.
"Why have you smothered yourself like a caterpillar, Princess?" Caliban questioned me, and I huffed before fully removing my blanket cocoon. I perched myself up in my pillows, leaning against the wrought iron frame of my bed.
"I'm in a mood." Was all I said.
"What exactly is this 'mood'?" Caliban asked, and I turned to him, scrunching my face.
"My mood is that I'm exhausted, I'm overwhelmed, and I just wish that my life wasn't a freak show. Everyone is either mad or proud of me for marrying you, the Clay Prince of Hell, or expecting me to fail altogether." I was trying not to rant like a crazy person, but apparently failing miserably.
"You are not going to be a failure, Sabrina. You're quite the opposite. You're extraordinary." Caliban gave me such a sincere look, I could feel the anxiety that had filled my chest slowly melting away. It was an incredible power he had over me. He could electrify every fiber of my being, yet calm me with a simple glance.
"You're just saying that because you're my fiance." I grumbled, slumping down into the goosefeather pillows. I knew that Caliban meant well, yet I still felt like acting like a teenage drama queen.
Caliban smiled, before motioning to the bed, asking for my permission to enter my personal bubble. I granted his request with a slight shrug of my sweater clad shoulders, and soon I felt his warm body position itself next to mine on the full sized bed. Caliban was careful to keep a healthy distance between us, yet his body heat still seeped through the thin cotton sheets.
"I may just be your fiance, but I'm also a person who admires your courage. Your conviction. You took on the throne of Hell with a vibrancy that made the court of Pandemonium bow before you. Your bravery and dedication to your friends and family is part of the reason I find you so incredible." Caliban expressed his admiration of me, and I couldn't help but find a small blush rising to my cheeks.
"Is that why you agreed to marry me? Besides gaining access to the throne of Hell, of course." I teased, and Caliban laughed.
"I agreed to marry you because you are one of the most breathtaking women I've ever laid eyes on, Princess. Your strength and beauty are unmatched." Caliban whispered, and gently raised one of his tan hands to brush a stray curl of platinum blonde fallen into my face. He titled my chin towards his own, and looked me directly in the eyes, before speaking to me in a low tone that would have any girl quaking in their shoes.
"Promise me that you will never doubt your ability to be extraordinary." Caliban whispered, before placing a tender, yet warm kiss on my chapped lips. I savored the sweet and simple taste of him before he gently pulled away a mere few moments later.
"You really know how to sweet talk a woman, don't you?" I mumbled against Caliban's cheek, I felt his toned body rumble with a chuckle.
"There's only one woman who I wish to 'sweet talk', as you put it. That is purely you, Princess." Caliban responded, and with his answer, my lips were immediately on his.
He tasted of ash mixed with cinnamon, and his lips were as soft as ever. I felt the electricity of kiss all the way down into my toes. His hands went to rest on my cheek, and the other on my hip. My tongue grazed over his bottom lip, and soon our tongues were fighting for dominance. As usual, Caliban's strength overpowered me, and he took control. We kissed until there was no breath left in either of our lungs, and when I finally gasped for air, Caliban drew away.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"You said only yesterday that you wished that we would take things slow. I was respecting your wishes, Princess." Caliban murmured, and I gazed at him with a look of amazement.
"I think we can go a little bit farther." I whispered, and once again pressed my lips to his.
Caliban instantly responded, and once again we were in a battle for dominance. The clay prince's lips traveled from my lips to my neck, where he left warm, open mouth kisses along the length of my exposed collarbone. Caliban sucked and pulled at the skin next to my earlobe, and I couldn't help but let out a small moan at the heated actions. I felt Caliban smile against my neck at the reaction his ministrations were causing me. His hands drifted from my cheek to grip my hair at the back of my neck, locking my head in his gentle hold. The other hand drifted from my hip to grip my thigh.
When his lips traveled back from my neck to my lips, we melded together like wax. It was a soft mesh of heat and desire, with Caliban in the lead. We were glued together, and I could feel my heart pounding in my ears, and a small fluttering feeling in the bottom of my stomach begin to blossom. It was an unfamiliar feeling; yet it felt incredible. Our kisses deepened, and I could hear a small growl erupt from the back of Caliban's throat.
My own hands drifted to Caliban's chest, sliding underneath the thin muslin of his shirt to feel the sculpted planes of his chest. When my nails grazed his side, Caliban nipped my bottom lip in response to my action. His hand clenched my thigh, his nails stroking higher and higher. It felt like we were in our own world, simply moving with one another. I felt relaxed, like I had finally found an escape. And for that, I was grateful.
We kissed until my lips were raw, and I finally pulled away. Caliban was left gasping for air, but smiled when I kissed him sweetly on the cheek. Maneuvering around on the bed, I situated myself so that Caliban was pressed against my back, his hand gently stroking my hip. We fell into a comfortable silence for a few moments before Caliban began a conversation.
"Are you anxious for Saturday?" Caliban asked me, and I looked up at him, before staring down at my sock clad feet with a sigh.
"I'm not nervous...I'm just ready for all of this fanfare and pomp to be done."
"It's only three days away. Then everything will start anew, and we will be able to build a new Hell. Together." Caliban reassured me, and faintly squeezed my shoulder.
"How is the wedding planning going in Pandemonium? I'm not there all the time, like you are. What decisions has Lilith made on my behalf?" I questioned Caliban, who rolled his eyes with distaste at the mention of my father's mistress, and my reigning regent. I wanted to know how insane she was making this wedding.
"Besides the monstrous amount of guests, we are having roasted pig and fish for dinner, and we have lovely floral arranagments made with enough flowers from the Infernal garden to make you sneeze. Lilith also sent over many sketch options for the seamstresses to make my suit for the wedding." Caliban gave me a few details about the planning.
"Will you at least have a shirt on? And maybe shoes?" I pestered him, and Caliban laughed before nodding.
"They've even sent samples of cake...I selected chocolate. I figured that would be an appropriate choide for you."
"You got to try cake samples? Without me?" I cried, flustered by the fact that I missed out on one of the only good parts of wedding planning.
"They needed a decisions, but I promise it will be delectable."
I grunted, but gave Caliban a small grin. I felt so relaxed around him. It was a bit strange that I felt such a connection with the man who once was trying to steal my throne; an enemy. Though now, I was almost looking forward to Saturday.
"I hate to cut my visit short, but it seems I am needed in Pandemonium." Caliban interrupted my thoughts, and I looked at him with confusion.
"What for?" I questioned.
"A suit fitting." Caliban winked, before slowly rising from his position on my bed. He stood up, and I caught him arm before he prepared to leave.
"Caliban, thank you. For taking my mind of things, and being so nice." I was grateful for the distraction that Caliban and his lips had provided. He smiled, before slowly leaning down to kiss my forehead. Pulling away, he looked me in the eyes.
"Anyhting for my Princess." And with a swish of fire, he was gone.
Leaning back onto my bed, I sighed.
Even though I was terrified about the path that lay before me, and the future that was to come, at least I knew that Caliban was going to be by my side. There was something about him, that even in the last few days, had erupted feelings inside me that I had never experienced before. Feelings of need, but also feelings of acceptance and care. Nothing like what I had felt with Nick or Harvey. It was like I was his first priority. And that made me feel more comfort than anything.
I knew then that Caliban and I were going to change Hell for the better. As one.
