Chapter 12: Sharing The Same Fear & Comforting Hugs
Author's Notes: Hi there my dear readers, SuperTailsFan012 checking in for another exciting chapter of A Special New Friendship: An Author's Adventure.

Funny story is that I started working on this chapter on the 21st of September as there is a thunderstorm on and it will help me calm down a bit.
This chapter will be mixed with first and third-person views.

Now onto the chapter. This chapter will focus on my fear of thunder.
And It will be the third time Tails cries, due to his big fear of thunder.
About the last chapter, I wanted to have a chapter posted on my birthday as it was the best day ever.
My morning started out by Waking up around 6 am and Stardown wished me a happy birthday, we chatting about a few things and i then posted the last chapter out by then. But THEN Stardown posted a story called Evil Cosmo Arises: A Sonic X Story and boy was I surprised?
I didn't expect This at all!
When I was about to do presents, There was a live stream from Miles_Tails_Prower and He played Sonic Mania. Tails wished me a happy birthday and he pinned the message.
When I did my presents I was emotional, I got A cat calendar and my favourite Lindt chocolate
I went shopping to get two games for my Switch Lite. After shopping, I picked my friends up and we went to mini-golf. I got this Once in a lifetime hole in one on the first hole ON the first go. My friends and I like... FREAKED out! That was epic. After mini-golf, I had McDonald's for lunch.
After lunch, I went to rest up before dinner but after EmuEmi streamed for my birthday, it was very special.
I had Entre sized Calamari and some veggies for dinner and then I had my birthday cake.
After dinner at the club, I had a strawberry Thickshake and some fries at McDonald's.
After the day, I was SO tired so I relaxed the next day.

I wanted to have a brotherly and Sister bond with me Tails, Sonic and Chris since We are kinda like a big family.
And there will be a chapter where I get kidnapped again but this time, along with my friendship Emerald. I had a dream when I get scared and I run from Tails and Sonic. They noticed this and they help me calm down.
In chapter 18, Tails will teach me how to fly my plane. Also, I will set a poll on Fanfiction for what the name for my plane should be.

Chapter 12: Sharing The Same Fear and Comforting Hugs
My POV!
It was 5 days after my special birthday party and I was still in the recovery zone. I missed my family and friends back home but I still enjoyed my birthday so so so much.
Just a quick recap that when I woke up, Tails had given me a plane model like the Big version I have now and it made me cry. Tails was such a great friend and helped me get ready.
After that Sonic and Chris have made me pancakes for breakfast. And Sonic and Chris gave me my birthday presents which was a soccer ball and a pair of shoes from Sonic.
After breakfast, Tails took me a joy ride on the Tornado, it was so fun. But it was emotional due to Tails remembering that time last year when Eggman kidnapped me.
During the flight, Tails and I became brother and sister. Tails admitted that ever since he met me, he felt like I was an older sister to him.
After admitting it, we shared a sibling hug and I told Tails I wanted to experience a loop the loop for the first time and we did, But sadly, I've gotten bad motion sickness and vomited. I vomited maybe like 5 times before I fell asleep.
When we arrived home, I felt much better than before and I am happy but I felt bad for vomiting and worrying Tails. Tails assured me that it was okay and he took me inside.
Everyone, including Big the Cat, surprised me. Everyone told me they cared and loved me so much.
The surprise party surprised me so much I broke down in tears. It was such a great surprise, Tails comforted me.
Tails and Big assured me and had a photo with Big before Tails did a makeover for me and I danced all day.
And then, it was time for the cake, It was a rainbow cake with yellow icing and was mint and strawberry.
After the cake, I got so many great presents and I enjoyed them, My favourite, however, was Sonic's Present which was the power ring, and Tails presents which were my plane and the FriendShip Emerald.
After presents, Tails showed me my new bi-plane and I broke down in tears of joy, I never expected to have gotten it. The rest of the day we ate food and played games.
I enjoyed my birthday so much, it was quite a day of fun and excitement. The day ended with making smores and had a campfire after we had dinner. It was such a great birthday.
Right now, Tails, Chris, Sonic and I were watching the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie. Chris had never seen the movie before so he asked if we could watch it and we all accepted.
Chris smiled and wrapped an arm around Tails. "Tails, this movie is amazing!" Chris spoke in joy. "I see now why you, Sonic and Olivia love it so much."
Tails smiled, "It really is a great movie. It reminds me of when I was younger, having no friends at all but meeting Sonic has changed my life." Tails explained.
Sonic smiled before saying, "And I am glad i met Tails too, I really couldn't leave him there, being picked on and I'm glad to have met Tails." Sonic explained with a joyful smile.
Tails smiled at this before he looked at me, wrapping an arm around me, "I think we should head to bed now, Olivia looks like she is about to fall as-AAAAH!" Tails explained before something happened. I was nearly asleep when the power suddenly went out.
I was completely startled by this and I could not help but scream and jump in the air. "AAAAAAAH!" I screamed and clutched to Tails who did the same.
Tails and I huddled up and Tails' tails wrapped around me in protection. "D-Don't worry O-O-Olivia, E-Everything Will be okay." Tails assured.
I nodded still burying my face in Tails who rubbed my back to calm me down. "Shhh, Shhh, It's okay Olivia, I'm here." Tails soothed.
Chris then alerted Sonic to the Problem and Sonic understood, Sonic then turned the radio.
Sonic switched on the radio on and was met with scary and bad news. "Reporting in today, there will be a 4-hour severe thunderstorm. Stay inside, keep your pets inside and keep calm." The man talking in the radio stated, making me flinch and Tails huddle closer to me.
The radio switched off and everyone and I all looked scared.
Sonic looked concerned, "Storms are pretty rare in Green Hill so this is a little scary." Sonic admitted, Looking over at Tails and moved closer to him for comfort.
Tails was the most scared out of all of us. He took a shaky breath and began shaking. "O-O-Oh n-n-n-no..." Tails spoke in worry and began shaking, "I-I-I R-R-REALLY d-d-don't l-l-l-like t-t-t-thunder a-a-a-at a-a-a-all..."
Sonic gently wrapped his arm around his best friend and assured, "It's okay Buddy, No thunderstorm will hurt you while I'm here." Sonic assured.
Chris smiled and sat next to Tails and gently gave his shoulder a comforting squeeze, "It's okay Tails, we are right here for you and you can cry in our shoulders." Chris assured in a gentle tone.
Tails smiled at this and thanked, "Thank you Chris, Sonic, Olivia. Thank you all so much." Tails thanked.
I couldn't help but shake in fright, I was saying very quiet and I didn't know I was hyperventilating when I felt Tails' hand on my chest before I gasped and freaked out. Tails wrapped his arms around me and asked, "Olivia, Olivia are you, okay sweetheart?" Tails asked, concerned. "Deep breaths now."
I managed to smile and held a shaky thumbs-up. "Y-Y-Y-Yeah, I-I-I-I'm o-o-okay, T-T-T-Tails." I tried to say in a brave tone but I clearly wasn't. I've been scared of thunder ever since I was 3.
Tails didn't look convinced and held my hand before setting me on his lap and gently spoke to me. "Olivia, could you please tell us why you're nervous Big sis?" Tails asked and gave me a big hug to comfort me.
Sonic gently held my hands, "It's okay Olivia, we will help you out whatever it could be pal." Sonic comforted.
Chris, "Please Olivia, we won't be mad or anything, I promise." Chris assured.
I tried to speak but all of a sudden lightning flashed outside, followed by a loud,
"BOOOOOOM"
Tails and I both screamed in fright and I did something that surprised Tails.
I began to sob and I literally ran off Tails' lap and dashed to my room. I ran in my room and quickly hid in the Closet to sob.
Tails was worried and cried out my name. "Olivia! Olivia! Wait!" Tails tried to call out but i was gone.
Third Person POV
Tails was worried when his older sister dashed to her room in tears, Could she have the same fear as him?
Tails chose to speak up. "Do you think Olivia is okay? She seemed pretty jumpy when the thunderstorm warning came through." Tails asked. "I have never seen her THIS scared before."
Sonic and Chris both looked concerned and they both nodded with worry.
Sonic chose to speak first, "I hope so bud, as Olivia was relaxed during the movie." Sonic stated.
Chris looked very worried too. "I have never seen her this scared before. And She was extremely nervous." Chris observed.
Everyone then began to think about the events way back to see if they can figure it out.
Tails hummed in deep thought. "Hmmm, Olivia DID feel more restful with us during the movie. But when she heard the thunder and warning for it, she did kinda feel worried and scared."
Chris looked worried, "She was pretty startled when the thunder boomed too and i think, maybe... She could be scared of thunder?" Chris guessed..
Tails gasped before he looked worried and had a look of sympathy and compassion. "I think... I think Olivia may be scared of thunder like me but is too ashamed and frightened to let us know. I think that's why she was nervous." Tails explained. That meant that Olivia had the same thunder phobia as he did.
Sonic was worried about this, "That's why she was so scared about telling us. I will go and find her to make sure she's okay." Sonic announced.
Tails smiled at Sonic, "I will be fine Sonic, i have Chris here with me to help and comfort me, just make sure Olivia is okay, she... She must be terrified right now, even more than me." Tails explained, after seeing Sonic's look of worry for him.
Sonic then asked, "You sure buddy?" Sonic asked, concerned if Tails would be okay
Tails smiled before nodding firmly. "It's okay Sonic, I will be fine, i-AHHHH!" Tails tried to assure but screamed when thunder boomed outside.
Chris wrapped his arms around Tails, "Shhhh Tails, It's okay, it's okay." Chris soothing, hearing small, and choked sobs coming from the young fox.
Sonic gently rubbed Tails' back, "Tails buddy. If you want, I can stay with you and Chris can look for Olivia." Sonic comforted.
Chris nodded, "Sonic's right Tails, I can go and look for Olivia and Sonic can stay to comfort you." Chris assured.
Tails shook his head, "D-Don't worry Sonic, Olivia needs you right now. Please Sonic, I will be alright with Chris." Tails assured, resting a hand on his big brother's arm. "I promise you." Tails assured.
Sonic nodded before hugging Tails, "All right buddy if you are sure." Sonic spoke in a much calmer tone. "Don't worry Tails, i will be fast and after i find her, i will take her back here so you can gently chat with her."
Tails nodded, "G-G-Got i-it!" Tails agreed, "I am hoping Olivia will be okay telling me why she is scared of thunder."
More thunder boomed which made Tails yelp and hide in Chris' shoulder but yelped again when he heard Olivia screaming and sobbing.
Sonic hugged Tails and the fox squealed out while sobbing, "S-S-S-Sonic, p-p-p-please make sure Olivia is okay." Tails pleaded, sobbing. "She sounds so terrified right now and needs you to comfort her."
Sonic nodded and gave Tails a back rub and pat before assuring, "Don't worry Tails, I will find her bud." Sonic assured before dashing out of the room before returning with a few candles and torches.
Sonic went around lighting all of them and said, "Stay calm guys, I will be right back!" Sonic cried out before dashing out of the room to find his big sister.
When Sonic was gone, Tails lost it before he began sobbing even more, "C-C-Chris... I-I-I'm s-s-s-so s-s-s-scared. I-I-I know Sonic is out to find Olivia but, Olivia is very scared and I do hope S-S-Sonic will be able to c-c-calm her down..." Tails sobbed, "Olivia m-m-may f-f-find the thunder even scarier due to her autism." Tails explained.
Chris was confused and asked, "Why do you think that Tails?" Chris asked, concerned at this new factor.
Tails then explained about the question Chris asked. "Well Chris, since Olivia has autism, she... she finds thunder, and other things to be very loud as her eyes are more sensitive than ours. Since she has a fear of thunder, Her brain like tells her. And she gets more scared. That's why I wanted Sonic to find her. He can give her the comfort she needs." Tails explained.
Chris looked worried about this and asked, "Oh...Do you think she will be okay Tails?" Chris asked softly.
Tails wiped his eyes and shook his head, "I am not sure Chris. I am hoping she will be okay. Remember, Olivia has autism and she's scared of thunder so that means she is hiding somewhere quiet." Tails explained, Sobbing a bit more and took a shaky breath.
Chris beamed before saying, "Olivia really loves you Tails. You know. She thinks of you as her protector and guardian." Chris spoke softly. "She feels safe and comfortable with you."
Tails smiled, "Olivia really is special to me and I will do anything to comfort her, cheer her up or even making her day. She kinda has a special connection to me and she feels safe, comfortable with me." Tails explained with a smile. "I just hope she will be okay chatting to me about her fear."
Chris explained to Tails, "I think I know why she was nervous, she didn't want to be laughed at as people that are 20 are over their fear, She is scared that you or Sonic will make fun of her, but I know you are too gentle to do that." Chris explained.
Tails smiled before saying, "I will never ever do that Chris and either will Sonic. When Olivia and Sonic get back, I will gently tell her there is nothing to be ashamed of being scared of thunder like I am too, Sonic is scared of water and you're scared of being alone. We ALL have great fears we can't get over." Tails explained.
Chris smiled before saying, "You're right Tails, A fear takes time to get over and that's okay too, Our friendship with each other can help calm us down." Chris stated.
Tails smiled before hugging Chris, "Thank you, Chris, Thank you." Tails spoke softly before he screamed when another crash of thunder boomed."AAAHHHHHHH!" He screamed before hugging Chris.
CRASH! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Tails screamed and began sobbing harder than before, "AAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Tails sobbed, Shaking even more.
Tails began to sob wildly after hearing another boom of thunder
Tails smiled before shutting his eyes and stated, "C-C-Chris... Thank you!" Tails thanked.
Tails sobbed harder in Chris' chest as the thunder rumbled outside, hoping Olivia was okay. "Olivia, Big sis, please be okay." Tails sobbed.
Chris rubbed Tails' back as Tails cried into Chris' shoulder and felt sympathy for him, "Tails, don't worry, I'm here, I'm here." Chris soothed while Tails sobbed.
Meanwhile Sonic was looking for Olivia. And hoped she was okay during the storm.
Sonic was thinking to himself as he walked into the bedroom. 'I have never seen Olivia this frightened before. I never heard her scream that much.' Sonic thought to himself.
Sonic shook the feeling off before he gently called out Olivia's name to somehow get her to come out, "Olivia, It's okay, Sonic is here to help. It's alright pal!" Sonic assured.
Sonic heard a choked sob and it came in the closest to the right. Sonic stopped before looking at the closet.
Sonic felt Sympathy when he heard the sobbing noise. "Olivia, it's okay buddy, I'm here now, I promise," Sonic assured.
Sonic slowly opened up the closet and his heart sunk to his stomach when he saw Olivia sobbing. Sonic had found Olivia! She was safe, and okay. But sadly, she was crying her heart out.
But what startled him is that Olivia tried to ran away and Sonic knew he had to calm her down.
Sonic gently held Olivia in place and gently spoke to her. "Olivia, Olivia. It's okay, it's okay. Stay calm, it's just me, Sonic." Sonic soothed.
Sonic gently rubbed Olivia's back and sighed softly in immense sympathy.
Olivia didn't calm down, instead, she asked, "S-S-Sonic?!" She asked.
Sonic held Olivia gently to calm her down. "Yes, it's me, Olivia. It's okay Olivia, please calm down, you're okay buddy, you're okay." Sonic soothed, rubbing Olivia's back to gently calm and comfort her with his hand gently rubbing on her back.
Olivia let out a gasp and choked sob and yelped when she saw her little brother. Sonic gently smiled at her.
Sonic gently shushed Olivia and assured, '"Shhh, Don't worry Pal, you're safe with me." Sonic comforted.
Before Olivia could speak, a loud boom of thunder exploded outside which made her cover her ears tightly in a panic, Sonic gently covered her ears too.
Sonic rubbed Olivia's shoulder and gently assured, "Shhh Shhh, it's okay Olivia, It's okay! Im here! I'm here!" Sonic assured.
Sonic then heard Olivia sniff before he quickly wrapped his arms around her. Olivia then broke down, sobbing harder than ever.
Sonic shut his eyes before hugging Olivia back, "Shhhhh, Shhhhhh. It's okay. It's gonna be okay Olivia, I promise you, pal. Shhhh, I'm here now." Sonic spoke in a low, gentle and soothing voice.
Olivia continued crying heavily into Sonic's shoulder with big, heavy sobs.
Sonic gently Shused Olivia and rubbed gentle circles. "Shhhh, Shhhhh, Shhhh. It's okay Olivia, you're safe with me, I promise." Sonic soothed.
Olivia smiled before she fell asleep from the sobbing she did. "Thank you... Sonic." She whispered before she fell into a deep sleep.
Sonic was happy that he had gotten Olivia to calm down but was still worried about her.
Sonic smiled before assuring, "It's okay Olivia, I'm here to help." Sonic assured. "I promise."
My POV
I was in the middle of a panic attack, I really hated thunder as long as I could remember.
I had my legs, arms and chest tightly around me and I felt myself shaking from the anxiety I had in me.
I knew I had to tell Tails, Sonic and Chris the truth but I was so scared that they may make fun of me as I know 20 is an age group who doesn't get scared of thunder and lightning.
I tried to get my breathing Under control but it was very hard to do so as I don't like thunder.
But the more I tried, the more I freaked out, I nearly didn't like thunder.
Suddenly, I jumped and screamed loudly as thunder boomed, I covered my ears tightly and sobbed loudly, shaking and breathing hard in a panic
I heard footsteps approaching the room and gasped and stayed quiet, it may have been Chris or Sonic.
I heard the closet opening tried to run away out of fright but a hand gently stopped me, halting me in place, At this point, i freaked out.
I felt two hands grasp me softly and voice speak. "Olivia, Olivia. It's okay, it's okay. Stay calm, it's just me, Sonic." Sonic soothed.
I felt the hand rub my back and I heard a very gentle sigh of sympathy and I knew it was Sonic.
I sobbed harder and asked, "S-S-S-Sonic?!" I asked in shock.
Sonic then gently assured me, "Yes, its's me, Olivia. It's okay Olivia, please calm down, you're okay buddy, you're okay." Sonic soothed.
I gasped in fright and choked back on a sob and looked at Sonic who stared at me with a gentle smile.
I was about to speak before Sonic shushed me. "Shhh, Don't worry Pal, you're safe with me." Sonic gently comforted.
I sniffled and felt two familiar hands around me pulling me into a gentle embrace and looked up to see Sonic.
Before i could speak, i loud boom of thunder exploded outside which made me cover my ears tightly in a panic, Sonic gently covered my ears too.
Sonic rubbed my shoulder and gently assured and hugged me tightly, "Shhh Shhh, it's okay Olivia, It's okay! Im here! I'm here!" Sonic assured
At this, I broke down even hard than before. I tightly clutched onto Sonic who hugged me back.
Sonic shut his eyes before hugging me back, "Shhhhh, Shhhhhh. It's okay. It's gonna be okay Olivia, I promise you, pal. Shhhh, I'm here now." Sonic spoke in a low, gentle and soothing voice.
I continued crying heavily into Sonic's shoulder with big, heavy sobs. I was so scared right now.
Sonic gently Shused me and rubbed gentle circles. "Shhhh, Shhhhh, Shhhh. It's okay Olivia, you're safe with me, I promise." Sonic soothed.
I smiled before I fell asleep from the sobbing I did. "Thank You... Sonic." She whispered before she fell into a deep sleep.
Sonic smiled before assuring, "It's okay Olivia, I'm here to help." Sonic assured. "I promise."
Third Person POV!
Sonic waited until Olivia was sleeping until he gently picked her up and walked over to the lounge room where Tails was still sobbing with Chris comforting him.
Sonic slowly walked over to Chris and Tails and spoke softly, "Hey Guys?" Sonic asked.
Tails gasped and looked up and saw Olivia in Sonic's arms. He quickly ran up to them and began to get concerned. "S-S-Sonic?!... I-I-Is O-O-Olivia OK?" Tails asked softly, shaking and slowly reaching out a hand towards Olivia.
Tails was so worried about his big sister before saying, "S-S-S-Sonic?" He gently asked.
Sonic gently shushed Tails before assuring, "Shhhh, shhh. It's okay Tails, it's okay buddy, Olivia is okay, just is very tired due to her crying." Sonic assured.
Tails shut his eyes as the tears run down his face in sympathy and guilt. "Oh, Sonic... I didn't know Olivia's fear of thunder was this severe before." Tails said softly, about to start crying. "Now I feel so bad..."
Sonic gently smiled at the worried fox, assuring. "Tails, It's okay." Tails assured. "You are okay."
But this didn't seem to calm Tails down and he began to sob softly from the guilt he was feeling.
Sonic was concerned about this and he asked, "Tails? What's the matter, buddy?" Sonic asked.
Tails let out a few more sobs before he ran into Chris' shoulder and sobbed softly.
Tails sobbed and sniffled into Chris' shoulder. "I-I-I-I d-d-didn't k-k-k-know O-O-O-Olivia w-w-was t-this b-b-bad. I-I-I f-f-feel l-l-like I-I-It's m-m-my f-f-fault!" Tals sobbed, Chris, rubbing his back.
Chri rubbed shushed Tails and rubbed his back while Sonic came closer to him, "Tails, Tails, Tails, shhhhh. It's okay Tails, it's not your fault, I promise you." Chris soothed.
Sonic smiled before he walked even closer and laid his hand on Tails' shoulder and rubbed it to offer more comfort to him. "Chris is right Tails, it's not your fault buddy. It's all okay, I promise. We all didn't know about Olivia's fear so it's all okay Tails." Sonic soothed, Feeling guilty when he heard Tails sobbing.
Tails slowly looked up at Chris with tears in his eyes, "R-R-R-Really?" Tails asked.
Sonic smiled, "You can count on us, Bud! We'll do our part to help you out!" Sonic assured. "I am here to support you no matter what."
Tails stopped sobbing before he looked at Chris, and then Sonic before smiling, feeling better than before.
Tails smiled, "T-T-Th-thank you!" Tails sobbed. "It's just... I care about Olivia like she's a little sister to me."
Chris smiled at this, "Hey, it's okay Tails, I understand buddy, I promise." Sonic assured. "Olivia is very special to all of us and we'll help you."
Tails smiled before saying, "Here Sonic, let me take Olivia, and I will try to calm her down," Tails explained and sat on the couch next to Chris and Sonic gently passed over Olivia to the young fox.
Tails gently held Olivia in his arms and gently cuddled her close to calm her. Offering her the comfort she needs, wrapping his tails around her.
Olivia whimpered in her sleep, moving a bit and tensed up. "No...please... no more thunder..." She whispered which broke Sonic's, Tails's and Chris' hearts.
Tails felt sympathy for Olivia and wrapped an arm around her and stroked her head gently. "Awwwww, Poor Olivia... I didn't know her fear of thunder was that severe..." Tails spoke softly from Sympathy and felt bad for her.
Olivia smiled in her sleep and relaxed in a deep sleep, "Thank... You... Tails..." She whispered.
Sonic smiled before whispering to Chris, "Hey Chris? Why don't we try to comfort Olivia with Tails? That way she can be supported by all of us." Chris spoke
Chris smiled before he nodded firmly before saying, "Let's do it Sonic. Let's try to comfort Tails and Olivia." Chris decided before he and Sonic looked over to the couch.
Tails was surprised by this and asked, "G-G-Guys, w-w-what are you doing?!" Tails whispered in shock.
Chris and Sonic smiled before Sonic asssured, "Hey Don't worry Tails, We'll be there to comfort Olivia and you, don't worry." Sonic assured.
Tails smiled and he, Chris and Sonic worked to be there for Olivia and made sure she was safe and okay during the storm..
My POV
I didn't know what was going on. All I know was I was cuddled by one of my friends.
I can hear hushed voices chattering about something and felt a very gentle rubbing motion my back. I can tell who was comforting me, It was Tails.
"...Tails, don't worry. Olivia will be okay, I promise you, buddy.." Sonic assured.
What made my heartbreak is that I can hear sobbing noises and a response. "B-B-But S-S-Sonic...O-O-Olivia l-l-looked t-t-terrified. T-T-Thunder really scares her... I feel so bad for her living with that fear. It makes me feel sad and I wanna do my best to comfort her..." Tails sobbed.
I hear a gentle shushing noise and hearing Sonic's soothing voice. "Shhhh, shhh. It's okay Tails, it's okay buddy. Everybody has their own fears and it's okay to be scared." Sonic comforted in a low, sweet and gentle voice. "It's okay Tails."
I slowly opened my eyes to see Tails holding me and had his head buried in Sonic's chest and sobbing.
All of a sudden, A very loud BOOOOOOOMMMMMM occurred which made me scream loudly and making me jump.
However, this action and The loud thunder startled Tails too and he screamed loudly too.
The volume of our screams had startled Chris and Sonic and they both yelped, "WHHHOOOOAAAAAAA!" They yelped.
Tails hugged me tightly and I hugged him back. "Olivia! Y-Y-You're awake!" Tails sobbed. "Are you okay big sis?"
I didn't respond at all, instead, I was frozen and paralysed to the bone, I was shaking and my heart of pounding from the sudden scare.
Tails gently rubbed my shoulder and gently asked, "O-O-Olivia.. Are... you okay?" Tails asked.
I turned completely pale and Tails yelled to Sonic, "Sonic, get a bucket! Oliva looks like she is about to vomit!" Tails warned
"I'm ON it!" Sonic yelled before He dashed to the bathroom and quickly got a blue bucket and placed it near Tails.
I understood what happened and began to sob heavily. I collapsed in Tails' shoulder and sobbed my heart out.
Tails felt even more sorry and he gave me a really big hug and rubbed my back. "O-O-Olivia, Why... Why did you not tell me your fear of thunder, hon? I will always help you." Tails asked, very worried.
I began sobbing harder at this, "I-I-I'm so sorry Tails!" I sobbed. "I k-k-k-knew i-i-if i-i-i-i t-t-told y-y-y-you, I-I-I w-w-w-would b-b-b-be l-l-laughed a-a-and t-t-teased a-a-a-about I-I-It."
Tails gently rubbed and patted my back, hugged me close to his chest and gently cuddled me.
"Shhh, shhhhh, Olivia, Olivia. It's okay, it's okay, it's alright... You're good, you're okay. It's okay to share your share with friends. There is nothing to be ashamed of. You can tell us anything, okay?" Tails assured in a gentle, sweet voice. "I promise you that we will NEVER EVER tease you."
I was still sobbing heavily on Tails' chest, "T-T-T-Tails, t-t-t-thank y-y-you f-f-for u-u-understanding! I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner!" I sobbed.
Tails smiled and wrapped his tails around me to shield me from the thunder, thinking this was the best comfort for both him and me. "Hey Hey Hey, it's okay Olivia, you are one of my dearest friends. And you mean the world to me. I am your little brother too and you're my big sister." Tails explained.
I smiled before hugging Tails tightly, I was about to speak but screamed and sobbed when all of a sudden.
CRAAAAAAAACK BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
AAHHHHHHHHH!
Tails screamed louder and sobbed harder and both Sonic and I felt so bad, he was only 8 years and This thunderstorm was freaking out and i was worried about this.
I hugged him back and rubbed his back, soothing him, "Shhh, Shhh. Don't worry little bro, I-I-I'm h-h-h-here! I-I-I'm h-h-h-here." I gently soothed.
Sonic rubbed Tails' back gently, and have my hand a squeeze. "It's gonna be Okay Olivia, Tails. Chris and i are here to help." Sonic soothed
Chris gently held my shoulder, "Please don't worry guys, I am here to help as much as Sonic does too," Chris soothed.
Tails smiled as he gave me a rub on the back, "Thank you, Olivia, you're such a great and special sister." Tails spoke softly. "You too Chris, Sonic, i would be freaked out if i was alone."
Sonic smiled before assuring, "Hey, No worries buddy, we wanna help you through your fear and stick right with you." Sonic assured.
Chris smiled at this, "Yeah! Sonic, Olivia and I will help you out any time you need it.
Tails let out a few sobs and smiled before wiping away his tears. Everyone turned to me as i had my eyes still shut tightly.
I smiled before I broke down in tears. "I-I-I'm s-s-s-s-sorry f-f-for b-b-being s-s-scared o-o-o-of t-t-thunder!" I sobbed.
I didn't like thunder at ALL! I just wished that I wasn't such a scaredy-cat. Tails was a very understanding person.
Tails gently laid a hand on my arms and spoke in a shaky voice, giving me a big hug to comfort me.. "H-H-HEY, I-I-It's okay Olivia it's ookay. Don't worry you're okay. You're safe with us, i promise." Tails sobbed and rubbed my back.
I smiled while wiping away my eyes and sobbed a bit more and rubbed my eyes, "T-T-T-Thank you Tails." I thanked
Tails smiled back before he yawned and rubbed his eyes. "It's okay Olivia." Tails assured and fell asleep.
I smiled before hugging Tails again while Tails dozed off to sleep due to how tired he was feeling.
Sonic turned to Chris and spoke, "Chris, can you take Tails to bed while I comfort Olivia more before I will come back up." Chris explained
Chris smiled saying, It's okay Sonic, I will take Tails to bed while you comfort Olivia." Chris assured I handed Tails gently over to Chris.
Sonic smiled, "If Tails wakes up, just hold him and that will calm him down." Sonic explained.
"You can count on me Sonic!" Chris assured before he stood up and took Tails to bed.
Sonic then turned to me and gave me a big hug, "Shhhh It's gonna be okay Olivia, I promise." Sonic soothed in a gentle voice.
I began to sob even harder than before when more thunder booming. "S-S-Sonic! M-M-M-Make I-I-I-IT s-s-s-s-stop!" I sobbed.
Sonic tightened his grip around me and gently rubbed my back, whispering gentle and soothing words. "Shhhhh Shhhh, It's okay Olivia, I'm here, I'm here." Sonic soothed.
I began to calm down by now.. "I-I-I'm s-s-s-scared!" I sobbed.
Sonic smiled before he assured, "It's okay Olivia, you're safe with me pal." Sonic soothed.
I smiled before saying, "T-T-T-Thank y-y-y-you S-S-S-Sonic!" I sobbed.
Sonic smiled. "It's okay Olivia." Sonic soothed, "Here, let me dry off these tears and Why don't we head back up with Chris and Tails?" Sonic suggested.
I smiled before nodding and hugged Sonic. After that, Sonic stood up before walking over to Tails' room.
The thunderstorm finally began to calm down by now and i was still awake along with Sonic and Chris.
I smiled before I stopped shaking and looked at Tails who was sleeping in bed with Chris watching over. Chris was also sleeping too.
Sonic, Chris and I were still awake and the thunder is still rumbling but not loudly as before but I was still scared by it.
When I was shaking still, I heard a thunder rumble and it scared me.
I yelped quietly, sobbing softly in Sonic tan chest while he rubbed my back.
Sonic smiled, stroking my back softly. "It's okay Olivia, don't worry, I'm here now big sis, it's okay." Sonic soothed.
I stopped sobbing as Sonic tightened his grip on me to comfort me.
I smiled before thanking my little brother, "Thank you Sonic." I thanked.
I smiled and fell asleep as I was tired from the crying I did.
Sonic smiled before saying, "It's okay Olivia, everything will be okay when you're with me, Tails and Chris." Sonic whispered.
More thunder boomed which startled Tails. Tails whimpered before opening his eyes. "O-O-Olivia? Y-You o-o-okay?" Tails asked softly
I whimpered in fright and yelped when I felt Tails' hand on my shoulder, "T-T-Tails!" I yelped.
Tails gently held me, "I-I-It's o-okay O-O-Olivia, I-I-I know you're scared but We are here to help you." Tails assured, Holding me close.
I hugged Tails tightly and spoke, "Thank you Tails, thank you for understanding my fear." I sobbed.
Tails smiled, "It's no trouble, Olivia. I will never ever make fun of you, I promise you." Tails soothed, hugging me back.
Sonic smiled before saying, "Yeah, Olivia, there is nothing to be ashamed off Pal, you are safe with us.." Sonic whispered softly.
Chris assured me, "Yeah, We all have fears that can't be controlled but we'll be there for you." Chris soothed, "And We'll be there with you to Tails."
Sonic smiled, "You're right Chris, Tails don't worry. We all are here together." Sonic soothed.
Tails smiled, "S-S-Sonic, C-C-Chris, O-O-Olivia, you're the best thing that happened to me." Tails thanked, tears welling up in his eyes.
Sonic smiled, "Don't worry Tails, I'm here to help you and Olivia out buddy," Sonic assured.
Chris spoke softly, "Yes! That's right Tails, There is nothing to be ashamed of, I promise you." Chris assured, rubbing Tails' shoulder.
I smiled before speaking softly and shyly, "You're are surrounded with friends and positively. And, you're my hero too." I assured.
Tails smiled, "I love you big sis, big bros!" Tails spoke softly. "Thank you so much!" Tails thanked. "Thank you so much." He whispered.
I smiled, I had the best family ever. We all huddled in bed and fell asleep, knowing we were safe,

I felt this may be one of my favourite chapters due to the different POV's.
Fun Fact: This is the second story that uses First and Third-person views after Sonic-X: One-Shot Adventures
The emotional feelings and anxiety were very spot on and I feel like I write them very well.
I wanted to have Myself very nervous and I did not wanna tell Tails, Sonic or Chris about my fear.
I when wanted to have two different scenes of comfort. Chris comforting Tails and Sonic comforting me.
It's true, I am scared of thunder just like Tails. I know I'm safe with him and I wanted to have an emotional scene of Tails comforting me along with Sonic and Chris.
I also wanted a reason why I didn't tell Sonic and Tails sooner about my fear and it was quite intense.
I wanted to have an emotional scene, around me telling about my fear of thunder.
