Chapter:10 The Sports Festival Part 5

Izuku is currently in the locker room waiting for the next match as he tightens the wrappings on his limbs.

He kept thinking of his final match with his former childhood friend as he frown from two outcomes he would think.

If he wins, Katsuki would certainly hold a grudge, but even if he lose, which is impossible, Katsuki would still try to best him in other ways that he had done

He knew that there aren't any other choice to have a positive outcome, the damn blonde is too stubborn to accept any loss.

The sound of ringing snap him out of his musing as he look beside him to see his phone ringing.

He picked up and answered, "Hello?"

"Big Brother!" The voice of his adopted sister Eri called out to him which made him smile.

"Hey Eri," Izuku said.

"Hi dear," It was then his mother's voice calling him.

"Hey Mom, why are the of you calling me?" Izuku asked.

It was silent for a second till Inko spoke, "Its your relationship with Katsuki."

Izuku slightly frowns, "I still not hate him mom, but if he pushes me enough in the tournament, he might get some scars."

"I know. I know. But please hold back. Target his pride not his body."

"I will mom. I will." He then stood up as he went straight to the battlefield for the final match.

This will decide the future of his relationship with his former friend.

The crowd are screaming with excitement and anxiety as they waited for the final match to start.

"Are you guys ready!" Present Mic announced as everyone yelled in contained glee.

"Then let's us welcome our final fighters! They have come far to this very point with blood, sweat, and tears! They will go to the big games to show their to this very day!"

"Cut it short Mic," Aizawa said with a bored look.

"Well excited much, but what are we waiting for?! Let's get ready to rumble!" The crowd began to cheer more.

"On the left is kid with a temper, the beast that crave destruction, and destroyer of the tournament: Bakugo! Katsuki!" Katsuki then came out as he has a manic smile on his face.

"On the right is the king of the fist, the little Giant, and the unbreakable juggernaut: Midoriya! Izuku!" Izuku also came out with a serious look on his face.

The two former friends look at each other as Katsuki look at Izuki as prey, but the green haired boy didn't mind.

"You ready to lose," Katsuki taunted.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Izuku said as Katsuki could only look murderously.

"Begin!"

Katsuki start things off with a large blast as instead of dodging, Izuku used his telekinesis and made a wall of concrete in front of him.

Katsuki then blast his way forward when Izuku let the wall down, but the green haired teen put his hands on the ground and a pillar of earth rose under him.

Katsuki stop as he blast the pillar to let it fall over as Izuku made a floating platform with the broken pillar.

The blonde kept chasing him by blasting himself up as Izuku tried to outmaneuver him.

In the Midoriya Residence, Inko and Eri were watching the fight with worry as they saw Izuku keep evading with his telekinesis.

He might have a strong body, but he has the same mind of a human being, so that means instead of his body; his mind took the strain.

"Is Izuku gonna be okay?" Eri asked her adoptive mother.

"He might sweetie," Inko assured but she was worried as well.

"Stone Dozer!" Izuku then waved his hands forward for a wave of stones overshadowing Katsuki, but the blonde completely destroy it by blasting it away.

"Die already!" Katsuki shouted angrily as he blast himself forward.

"Not a chance!" Izuku shouted back as he now use his telekinesis to float away from the charging blonde.

"Mind Whip!" Then a translucent whip made of energy formed on Izuku's hand as he grabbed one of Katsuki's hands to change his direction.

"Mind Array!" Then balls of pure Psychic energy appeared beside him and fired at Katsuki, but the blonde fired a powerful blast that destroyed them, but Izuku easily countered it by making three layers of concrete in front of the blast.

"Just stay down Deku!" Kakashi roared in anger as he unleashed another powerful explosion.

"Like hell!" Izuku then slammed hisbfist on the ground as a giant thick wall blocked the attack completely.

"Why is he still holding back?" Marsha asked.

"What mean?" Ochako asked.

"She means why Midoriya isn't finishing this quickly," Shoto said.

"Because he's trying to mend a broken bond," Denki said as everyone looked at them.

"What do you mean?" Momo asked.

"We were... old friends you might say. Me, Izuku, Kyoka, and Bakugo and I were friends since we were kids, but since before Izuku got his Quirk, everyone basically harassed Izuku with Bakugo being his worst tormentor," Denki explained.

"That's terrible," Momo said with the others agreeing.

"Since Zuzu got his Quirk, everyone's view of him quickly changed, they immediately praised and talk to him like nothing happened, but Izuku knew why and ignored them all, but Bakugo wasn't and wanted to push Zuzu off and stand over him," Kyoka said.

"And Izuku is trying to fix their already broken friendship," Denki said as everyone looked back to the arena.

"Come on then!" Izuku shouted as he launched boulders at Katsuki as the blonde tried to blast them away, but the shrapnels hit him.

"Just go die already you nerd!" The blonde shouted as he ignored the pain and tried to blast Izuku again, but the green haired boy easily divert its trajectory.

Izuku then kicked the ground for a spray of concrete dust that hits Katsuki's eyes as he screamed in pain.

Izuku then rose a pillar of stone below the blonde as Izuku launched him to the air for an easy stone bullet shot.

But Katsuki quickly recovered and blast himself away from the attack, and fired multiple blast that easily blocked by more walls.

"Come on kid!" Kamui Woods cheered as he watched the fight from the outside along with Mount Lady as they knew he would win with no trouble.

"I see now why," Death Arms muttered as he watched the green juggernaut evading and blocking each attack with ease and calmness. "That kid is going big."

As the battle continued on, Katsuki is getting tired of continuing, but Izuku wasn't even close to exhaustion as not even a single sweat on his face.

"Give up now. You can't even continue," Izuku said as Katsuki looked at him angrily.

"Are you looking down on me!" He snarled.

"I am not! You are clearly exhausted!"

"You think you're better than me Deku! I'll show you!" Katsuki then thrust his hands forward as his palms began to spark.

Then a massive explosion rang to the stadium as the rushing bubble of death went straight to Izuku, but Izuku didn't deter.

As the explosion went closer, Izuku didn't move as he let it consume him which made everyone scream in panic.

Katsuki was now totally exhausted as his hands were getting numb from overusing.

When the explosion passed, everyone were shock to see Izuku still fine but he was in his back up shorts since his uniform was burnt, but let his perfectly sculpted body to show to everyone.

"Then let's finish this then," Izuku said as Katsuki felt his anger boiling.

Then something white came out of Izuku's body to reveal itself to be Yang with her large snow white tail in full display.

'Ready Young Midoriya?' Yang asked.

'Don't be All Might right now,' He thought as he focused all of his Psychic energy between his palm as it slowly took form of a pink ball of energy.

Yang then focused her telekinesis to make Katsuki still, and with him exhausted it was really easy.

Izuku then moved forward with the ball still in his hands as he prepared to push it forward.

Katsuki could only look helplessly as Izuku ran up with the Psychic ball on his hand, and he then closed the distance as he looked up to see the anger on Katsuki's face.

"You're still the best," Katsuki eyes widen in shock before the ball was pushed to his gut.

"Psycho Bomb!" Izuku then pushed the ball in, and the Psychic hold that held Katsuki disappeared and he was launched back by the ball and it exploded to a flash.

It then cleared out to see Katsuki knocked out on the grass as he layed their with his eyes rolled back to his head.

"Bakugo is unable to continue, Midoriya is the winner!" The audience then cheered at the very one sided battle, but it was still enjoyable.

Above the stands are the rest of Class 1-A cheering on as well.

"Yeah Midoriya!" Ejiro cheered along with Mina as their fist were high in the air.

"Yeah buddy!" Denki also cheered as Marsha hugged by his side with Kyoka shouting compliments to her boyfriend.

"It was one sided but with how long it took is very impressive," Momo said.

"Agreed, thou I hate seeing Bakugo going around like a rabid beast, but I do compliment him of surviving without the proper knowledge of Midoriya's strength," Tenya agreed.

"Indeed it was," Shoto did as well.

"Now that's quite long to survive with a one hitting kid like Midoriya, but that was amazing to see!" Present Mic announced.

"I think he's really just stubborn to admit defeat, but I do agree that he is quite powerful in some terms," Aizawa said as he was quite impressed by the wild blonde's determination.

"Yeah! Big brother won!" Eri cheered along with Inko as she cried tears of joy.

"Good job my baby boy," Inko said as she sniffed a little.

Hours later in the stadium, Izuku stood on the top podium with Katsuki on his right with his arms crossed as he mutters curses because of his defeat, and on his left on the lowest are Denki and Shoto standing by each other with smiles on their faces.

Izuku took a deep breath and released it as he let the attention wash pass him, and Midnight began the announcement.

"Now, we will award the medals! The presentation of the medals, of course, will be presented by this man-!"

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

Everyone were familiar of the booming laughter as they quickly look around before seeing seeing a large shadow, so they look up and saw All Might standing on top of the stadium with the sun illuminating behind him. Then, with a quick dash, All Might jumped off the stadium, flipping in the air while the cheered before executing a perfect landing right in front of the podium.

"I have brought the medals here!"

"-Our very own hero, All Might!"

Silence

"Sorry I talked over you," Midnight apologized in embarrassment as she clasped her hands together.

The audience were now discussing on how lucky the first years were for having The Number One Hero watching over them.\

"Now then, All Might, please present the medals, starting with the third place," Midnight quickly said as All Might nods and he passed over the medal case so he could present the first one to Denki.

"Young Kaminari, congratulations. You did an excellent job working your way here with your power and Quirk. However, don't recklessly use your Quirk or abuse it since it might actually hurt you, so you must strengthen your body so it can handle your Quirk better. Maybe do it later thou: All Might advised as he put the bronze medal around Denki's neck and gave the young teen a gentle hug.

"Thanks," Denki then smiled. "I could've not done it why my friends and family backing me up when I need them the most."

All Might nods as he feel proud for the younger blonde, and he then look at Shoto as he presents the other bronze medal.

"Young Todoroki, congratulations. I assume that there was a reason that you never used your left side?" All Might asked in a gentle matter.

Todoroki then replied with a thoughtful expression, "If it wasn't for Midoriya, I couldn't used it because of the bad memories I got before, but he showed me that my flames are mine and mine alone as it is my body after all. I wanted to be a hero like you, but I didn't think it would be right for me to be the only one to break away,"

He then looked at All Might straight to the eyes and continued in his usual expression, "There is something I must settle."

All Might nodded in approval and said. "The look on your face is completely different from before," He stated as he gave Shoto a hug. "I won't ask for details, I'm sure that you will be able to do what you need to do,' He said in understanding as he gave a few pats on Shoto's back.

"Yes," Shoto responded while All Might let go of him as he gave a look of approval to Shoto.

All Might then walk to a salty Katsuki as he presented the silver medal.

"Young Bakugo, congratulations," He then put the medal on the grumbling blonde's neck. "Like everyone here, you showed great skill. But never forget that there is always room to improve, keep that in mind and I'm sure you'll go far!" He then hug Katsuki and after the two separates, Katsuki gave a firm nod as he look at the medal with a serious expression.

All Might then approached the young juggernaut and presented the gold medal. "Young Midoriya, congratulations," He stated as a change to the world, and I am without a doubt that you earned this."

Izuku smiled and nod as he was grateful to hear that from his idol.

All Might then turned to the rest of the students. "Well, they were the winners this time," He stated as he got everyone's attention."But listen here! Anyone here could've ended up on those podiums!" He declared proudly as he points to the sky.

"So I have one more thing to say!" Everyone then were now hype on what he's going to say. "Everyone, please say it with me!" He requested as everyone were excited as they knew what to say. "Ready go!"

But next was not everyone is expecting.

"Thanks for your hard work!/ PLUS ULTRA!"

Everyone then booed at the Number One Hero as said hero tried to defend himself from being embarrassed, but it didn't help that Izuku and Marsha were laughing at him as their laughter was contagious and made the other students laugh.

Izuku then stop as he look to the sky then to his hands as he felt proud to his accomplishments as this is another step to change the world, but he's not the only one.

And that is it for this chapter.

Yeah I'm not the expert on making awesome fights and I'm sorry for the story being short, but I can still improve if I can get some help on making some future fights and it is much appreciated that you guys will.

For now, this story will be on a long Hiatus for the time being as I need to focus on my other stories since they need some improvements, so I thank you all for reading.
