Speedy was doing his daily stuff, Run work out, eat hang out with some of the beach city folk and run some more. Metal on the other hand was Working building more Droids, Experimenting on some life forms, working for the Government by providing a few practice fighting bots.

Steven was hiding behind a boulder outside of his house he was far from the gems but not for long. "What am I gonna do? What's their problem with you? Are you trying to say something?"Steven asks as he tries to help the Mirror buddy. "Er, watch where you're going, you little!"The mirror said using Lars voice. Steven looked behind knowing that was the Mirror telling him to look behind him. "Quick Mirror buddy, Metal here can help us tell us how we can help."Steven asks "Away from home- Let- Me- Out!"There Mirror said in distortion. "Gems over there it's Metal!"Pearl says -SHOOT, iͥtͭ's uͧp to Stͭeͤvͮeͤn...I goͦtͭ yoͦuͧ cͨoͦvͮeͤrͬeͤdͩ.-Metal says as his sword comes out his Arm and he gets ready for a battle.
"Right..Come on! I want to help you! What can I do?"Steven asks the Mirror as he watches Metal Clash swords with Pearl's spear, was pulling on amethyst's whip with his other arm and using his right foot to Stop Garnet's gauntlet. "so cool."Steven said eh then looks down at the mirror and watches as it whirs and projects a scene of Steven pulling the gem out of the back of the mirror. Steven quickly turns the mirror to its back and begins tugging on the gem. As he is pulling the gem, water from the sea begins to form the pattern of the mirror around Steven. After much effort, Steven manages to pull the gem out, and the mirror shatters. The gem then starts glowing in Steven's hand and levitates in mid-air. It reforms back into its physical, humanoid form and collapses onto the sand.
Metal would then Proceed to shatter Pearl's spear and kicked Garnet into Pearl and sent them sliding across the sand, as for Amethyst he picked her up and threw her towards the house. He walked over to Steven and saw what happened next "Thank you... You didn't—"? says as she struggles to stand, but Steven helps her up. "You actually talked to me. You helped me! It's Steven...and Metal right?"? asks as she looked at them. "I'm Lapis - Lapis Lazuli. Are you really a Crystal Gem?"Lapis asks "Yeah I am."Steven says -I aͣmͫ noͦtͭ aͣ cͨrͬystͭaͣl geͤmͫ, foͦrͬ I aͣmͫ noͦtͭ Geͤmͫ-Metal says
"But you set me free."Lapis says a bit confused. Metal tapped his Metallic mouth guard and it came off. "A hero help those in need even when the odds and people he knows are against him, You asked for help and it was delivered...yes Steven your a hero."Metal says as he put his Metallic mouth guard back into place. "STEVEN!"Garnet shouts as she and the other two Gem get closer. The Gems approach and summon their weapons. -I guͧeͤss tͭhͪeͤy dͩiͥdͩn'tͭ leͤaͣrͬn tͭhͪeͤ fiͥrͬstͭ tͭiͥmͫeͤ.-Metal says this time he didn't summon his sword instead his hand became a canon/gun.
"You..."Lapis says as she raises a huge water-arm out of the ocean. "You three knew I was in there, and you didn't do anything. Did you even wonder who I USED TO BE!"Lapis shouts as she slams the water-arm onto the Gems, trapping Garnet underneath it and knocking Pearl and Amethyst aside. Metal shot an electric shot into the arm making Garnet feel large voltage coursing through her body. "I'm Lapis Lazuli, and you can't keep me trapped here anymore!"Lapis says as she proceeds to part the ocean. "Steven, Metal come with me."Lapis says as she has her hand out to them. "b-but I have to stay."Steven says as he looks at he Gems.
-Thͪiͥs oͦncͨeͤ Stͭeͤvͮeͤn stͭaͣy beͤhͪiͥndͩ...I'll hͪeͤlp laͣpiͥs geͤtͭ baͣcͨk hͪoͦmͫeͤ aͣndͩ oͦncͨeͤ iͥ geͤtͭ baͣcͨk hͪoͦmͫeͤ I'll giͥvͮeͤ yoͦuͧ aͣ giͥftͭ I waͣs woͦrͬkiͥng oͦn...cͨoͦmͫeͤ oͦn Laͣpiͥs leͤtͭ's goͦ.-Metal says "Don't trust them Steven...I hope you can keep up Metal."Lapis says as starts to run down the path she made She was suddenly picked up and saw that Metal was hovering 5 inches off the ground and carring her at high speeds. -Juͧstͭ loͦweͤrͬ tͭhͪeͤ waͣtͭeͤrͬ aͣndͩ tͭeͤll mͫeͤ whͪeͤrͬeͤ tͭoͦ goͦ-Metal said as he was focused on going forward and not looking back.
-an hour later of flying.-
"Metal here...this is the center of all the oceans right here will be perfect."Lapis says as. Metal stops and hovers above the water making it look like he was was standing on it. Then suddenly he was encased in a water bubble. and she saw that Lapis was gathering water and they were going high into sky with strong water pillar. ~Well this can't end to badly.~Metal thinks as they were getting Higher and Higher they even passed a plane.

Metal flew back up and saw Steven heal Lapis by licking his hand and placing it on Lapis cracked gem. -Thͪeͤ poͦweͤrͬ oͦf hͪeͤaͣliͥng liͥcͨks...iͥf iͥtͭ waͣs soͦmͫeͤoͦneͤ eͤlseͤ I woͦuͧldͩ fiͥndͩ tͭhͪaͣtͭ weͤiͥrͬdͩ.-Metal says as he ruffles Stevens hair.

The tower started to fall and crumble which was amazing considering it was water. but Metal had Steven in his hand and they floated around watching Lapis leave before they themselves flew back to beach city.

The citizens of Beach City all run towards the group cheering and laughing. Mayor Dewey tackles Steven and embraces him, as the citizens cheers him on. Connie laughs in joy and Amethyst hugs Lion. Greg is crying in front of his broken van and Yellowtail hands him a handkerchief to comfort him Metal stops in front of Greg and hands him a free repair ticket provide by Metal.
"So, Lapis made it off planet."Garnet said as she looked up to the sky.
