Author's Notes- I don't own Dragon Ball Super. The show and manga are created by Toei Animation and Akira T. Here's episode Twenty-Seven of the story. Just a fair warning: I will be dropping some of the bleeps, so if your sensitive to these curse words, then imagine the bleeps and try to enjoy it. Plus, I am going to be getting into some real dark territories, so try to read this carefully. Okay? Enjoy the episode!
The Misadventures of Caulifla and Kale: Episode Twenty-Seven- "Ghana and Kenya: Before This Happened"
Ghana: While I try to kill you,… (Punches Caulifla in the face) I'll talk to you how I got here and how everything got this way!
Caulifla: (Throws an energy blast at Ghana) I thought that you already did!
Ghana: (Deflects the energy blast) I know, but I need to tell you the full story. It makes sense to tell you this before killing you and stealing your energy!
Caulifla: (Charges up) I don't care! I'm not letting you destroy this planet! Bitch! (Charges at Ghana)
Ghana: You would do anything to get what you want. Just like you did to me! (Charges at Caulifla)
*Flashback- (Tournament of Power, Year 780/Five years ago)
Ghana: [I was a shy girl who didn't want to be near to any strangers. You were the only one who stood by my side. Cabba was one, too, but the only thing he did was make sure that I didn't lose my shit! The tournament of power began and everyone is starting to get into their strategies. Me and you were fighting with some good fighters, but we separated. I was able to hold against some opponents and knock them off the stage, but I was starting to get tired. I wasn't used to fighting for a long time. When the timer of the tournament was at five minutes, I got back to you and Cabba. We were the last members of Universe six. The last three members of Universe seven were staring at us, preparing for the last fight. We fight against them for a while, until… it happened!]
?: Die! (Shots an energy beam to Kale)
Kale: (Looks at the upcoming beam) Oh no! I'm too tired to block! I can't move!
Caulifla: Kale!? (sees the beam coming towards her) Kale! Move! (Runs to her)
Kale: (Closes her eyes) (This is it! I'm done for! Bye, Caulifla!)
Caulifla: Ugh! (Gets hit by the beam)
Kale: (Opens her eyes to see Caulifla) C-Caulifla!
Caulifla: (Slowly looks at Kale) K-Kale! L-Leave!
?: Die! It'll be quicker! (Continues to shoot at Caulifla)
Ghana: [The opponent kept shooting at her with his energy beams. I forgot his name, but I didn't care. He was hurting her! Caulifla was too weak to block the attacks. She just...stood there. Holes appeared on her body, as the attacks kept coming. I was heartbroken! I saw my friend being killed by an opponent I didn't know. When he was done attacking, he left to settle a "score" with someone. I got to Caulifla, trying to make her feel better. The holes were too much for her to plug them up. They were on her face, arms, legs, stomach, and lots more! She was bleeding quick!]
Kale: (Cries) C-Caulifla! Don't leave me! I need you!
Caulifla: (Smiles at Kale) K-Kale...I need you to be a brave girl and be your own person for me. I know that you're stronger than this. You just have to trust yourself. N-Never forget who you are!
Kale: N-No! I can't leave you! You have to come back to me!
Caulifla: Sorry, K-Kale. That's how life works. Some people have to die for the other to go on. P-Promise me one thing… ((Holds onto Kale's shoulder) Make sure that everything is fine between you and Cabba. I know that he's a… Gah! Cah! (Coughs up some blood) nerd, but you have to let him protect you from other dangers. P-Please! Don't forget who you are. You're my...sister in...a-a-arms… (Closes her eyes)
Kale: (Eyes widen) C-Caulifla...No...NO! You can't leave me! (Holds Caulifla in her arms) CAULIFLA!
Ghana: [I was too distracted from Caulifla's death that I didn't see the energy ball coming towards me. I was knocked out of the ring, along with Caulifla in my hands. It was dark falling into the zoid, but...there was a deeper darkness that covered me. I was lost...depressed...gone. I was on the benches with Caulifla on my lap. She was still bleeding from the injuries, causing the blood to pour on my legs. I didn't care about the blood on me. I was lost to know what would happen next. Cabba was knocked out of the ring, since he was the last one left. Universe seven won and Universe six was erased from existence. Or that I thought that I was gone. Universe seven revived the universes back from extinction. I was back in the god of destruction's palace and I don't see Caulifla anywhere. I thought that she would be revived, but...the angel told me that she's gone for good. "Since she died in the tournament and wasn't erased prior to the timer's end, she can't be revived." said that (bleep)-ing angel! I cried after hearing that news. I was truly alone. I never went back to the old self. I was gone for the universe to keep going on without me. I hid in the hideout for five years. Not wanting to come out. This hurt me so much. You were dead and I was all alone by myself! It was hell! I was so depressed that I never got the chance to say anything to Cabba, who was the captain of the SDF elites. One day...everything changed. For me...and for you!]
(Five Years Later)
Kale: (This is the shittiest morning I ever had! As a matter of fact, this entire routine of mine is shitty enough for me to not care!) (Sits on a chair and drinks some coffee) Caulifla...she used to drink coffee in the morning with me. Now that she's not (bleep)-ing here, I can't do shit! (Hears a knock on the door) Ugh! At least the damn mail is still coming to me!
(Kale walks to the door and opens it)
?: Hi there! (In an disordered voice)
Kale: Who the (bleep) are you?
?: I'm the owner of this book. (Shows Kale "The Book of Black Magic") Since I have no reasons to live on this planet or this universe, I'm giving this to you.
Kale: (Shakes her head) I don't need your bull shit and you can shove that up your ass! I don't need it! Can you see that my life is a shit hole!? I can't do anything good without her! She's (bleep)-ing gone and she can't come back to me!
?: How about you can revive your friend and be happy again.?Will that change your mind?
Kale: (Makes a surprising expression to the robed figure) I can?
?: You can! Just take the book, read it, and you'll have your old life again! She'll be back with you within minutes. (Smiles)
Kale: (Caulifla is the only one to give me happiness...I need to be happy again!) (Nods at the figure) Of course! I'll take the damn book! (Grabs the book from the figure)
Ghana: [After I grabbed the book, the figure disappeared out of thin air. I didn't know who he or she was, but all I cared about was that the black magic book would revive Caulifla back to me! I got my shovel, got to the Sadala graveyard and dug up Caulifla's dead body! I dragged her body to the hideout with the book in my hands. I placed her on the table, so that the spell would work. I said the words that will revive her. "Bring her back to me, for I will be happy. Life flows through the body like a river, that sails the water, Like piss being squirted out like a mother-(bleep)-er! Hope that my friend or close relative gets back well, for I'll sacrifice my soul to the deepest parts of hell!" was the spell's words. After saying it, Caulifla started to glow black. It caused me to go through some changes. I was starting to glow black. The room filled itself up with the black light. This goes on for thirty seconds, until the lights disappears. A menacing laugh occurred in my head, saying that my soul was his. It leaves, causing me to open my eyes]
Kale: What the hell? (Looks at her dark-skinned hands) What the (bleep) happen to my hands!? (Looks at her dark-skinned legs) And my legs!
?: Ugh! What happened? (Gets up and looks at Kale)
Kale: (Looks at the figure on the table) C-Caulifla?
?: Caulifla? No… I don't know if that's my name, but she sounds like a good person.
Kale: What!? You don't remember me! It's Kale! I'm a bit darker, but it's still me!
?: (Shakes her head) Nope! Never seen you before! (Feels her big, curly hair) Wow! I have really soft hair!
Kale: (Makes a disappointed expression) (This can't be happening! I read the words as followed! Why did it make me have dark skin!? Why is Caulifla different!? Why doesn't she remember me?! She should know what I look like!) (Looks at the book) Wait a minute...(Picks up the book and opens it) Ah! "Once the spell has been done, the dead figure has lost their previous memories and has gone into a new life. The user will have his or her personality and appearance changed" What the (bleep) is this shit!? (Throws the book to the floor) Great! Now that Caulifla doesn't know who the hell she is, but I'm a completely different person!
?: (Looks at Kale) Are you okay? You look sad. (Gets off of the table and hugs Kale) Don't worry. I'm here and you'll be better
Kale: (Softly cries) Caulifla...She's still in there. I just feel it!
Ghana: [After "reviving" Caulifla, I gave her a name. Kenya was the name that I pulled out of the spell book. Since my personality was about to change within a matter of days, I changed my name to Ghana. I told Kenya that she's a killer of men. She doesn't care about life in general. She only kills for fun. Five days later, we became close. We began to kill the people of Sadala with our black aura, the magic from the book that I caused. We were sisters on a mission to kill whoever looks at us in a disgusting way. I didn't care about life, due to the spell effecting me, but I was sad about now being able to properly revive Caulifla. My heart was dark and empty! My mind was cloudy, not letting me thing straight. When the entire SDF Elites and Cabba came in front of the hideout, I was surprised that I forgot about those bastards! I told Kenya that I'll take care of the mess here. When I did took care of the problem, it was the best feeling I ever had after the spell. Lots of blood was on the ground, grass, and hideout. I ate some of the soldier's intestines, but I didn't care! I love the taste of their blood and flesh in my mouth! Cabba was the last surviving person on the battlefield. I know that Caulifla said to me. "Trust him." I never trusted that shitty ass-hole for what he done to me and Caulifla. So...I killed him by stabbing him in the back and ripping out his head. I used his head as a jack-o-lantern for Halloween! After two more weeks of killing people on Sadala, I was feeling bored again. Kenya was bored of not having anyone to kill with. I looked at the picture of me and Caulifla being together. I have to me happy again! I made a promise to her that I would. So...I looked in the magic book and found something that would change everything for me and her.]
Ghana: (Looks at the spell) "Go to the dimensions that will be dandy, the places that make the universes a reality" (A screen appears in front of her and Kenya)
Kenya: (Looks at the screen) What the (bleep) are you looking at, Ghana?
Ghana: It's a window to multiple dimensions. Maybe I can find a dimension, where Caulifla was alive and revive her for real! "Screen, screen in the window, show me the dimension that will show be the door!"
(Screen stops at an image of Kale and Caulifla in the tournament of power)
Kenya: Wow! It worked!
Ghana: In this dimension, Universe Six was not in the final two universe in the end of the tournament. But...Kale and Caulifla were revived by Universe Seven's wish of reviving all of the erased universes. (Eyes widen and smiles) Haha! This is perfect! I can finally be happy! All I have to do is extract this Caulifla's energy and put it into Kenya's! Then...Then I'll be truly happy! Hahahahaha!
Kenya: Wait! We're going to that dimension? Why!?
Ghana: (Looks at Kenya) We need to get there and make sure that...my "friend" would be revived. You want me to be happy, right?
Kenya: Of course I do, but… Can we just go into another dimension that has one of the girls and get her back?
Ghana: That would be a good idea, but I'll have to work with this dimension as well. Before we go into that dimension, we need a plan. In order to bring my friend back, you and I have to… [I'd talked to Kenya about the upcoming plan to come. When we got into your dimension, your tournament was over. We start part one of our plan. We killed an innocent man, called the Galactic Patrol and took the blame. I was sent to the Space Asylum, while Kenya took on the next step, separate you two up. After she got the needle gun, she would extract Caulifla's energy and kill her. I didn't took the book with me, knowing that I was already powerful to use my black aura from within the space asylum. I was the one to brainwash so many troops and assassins during my time in there. When Kenya told the plan to your friend, I had to take care of it myself. It was bull-shit for me to take things into my own hands, but I had to do it...for you!]
*Flashback ends
Ghana: So, that's how I was able to come here and try to bring back the life that I had! (Punches Caulifla in the face)
Caulifla: (Sent flying to the ground) Ugh! (Gets up) Why didn't you just go to another dimension to get me and not come here!?
Ghana: The window just showed your dimension and I went into it!
Caulifla: You...never told Kenya that she was me, right?
Ghana: No! If I did, then that would (bleep) her up for life! I can't bring back her old life! It was gone!
Caulifla: I said to you that you need to be happy on your own!
Ghana: That was the old you from my dimension! Not you! Once I kill you and take your energy, MY Caulifla will be back with me and I'll be happy again! Hahahahahaah!
(Back to Kenya and Kale)
While Ghana was telling her story, Kenya heard the entire story from below them. She was doing that, while strangling Kale. "I can't believe that she would lie to me. I used to be...your friend?" Said Kenya as she looks at Kale. Kale also heard the story and is sad to know what happened to her in another dimension. "Y-Yes! I or in this case another me tried to revive Caulifla from the grave, but didn't work. It only made you!" said Kale as she struggles to get out of Kenya's hold. She lets go of Kale and looks up. "After all of this time together, she never told me the truth. I killed so many people. I…I was a fool to let her control me." are Kenya's thoughts, before remembering what she saw. Before coming to this dimension, she saw a fine print in the book. This causes her to think up a plan.
Kenya: "Whatever you do, don't kill your own dimension self. If that happens, then you'll disappear into nothing." Oh crap!
Kale: (Looks at Kenya) Kenya? Or Caulifla? What's going on?
Kenya: (Puts her hands on Kale's shoulders) Kale! I'm sorry for killing so many people! I didn't know that Ghana revived me, so that Caulifla would be revived! I didn't know that I was her to begin with! But...we have to stop her! If she kills Caulifla, then I die!
Kale: What!?
Kenya: If she wasn't too focused on trying to revive "me" back, then she should have read the fine print! I read it, before we left. If Caulifla dies, then I disappear. She won't be able to revive me back!
Kale: Caulifla! She's in trouble! What should be do!?
Kenya: I have to fix this. I'll help you save your sister in arms. I know that if killing Caulifla, I'll disappear, but she doesn't know that if you die in this dimension, she'll die!
Kale: Huh?
Kenya: If two of the same person appear in the same dimension and the other self destroys the current one, then they disappear. That's why if Caulifla or you die in this dimension, while we're here, we'll die!
Kale: Oh! What you're trying to say is… I have to die!
Kenya: Of course! It's the only way for her to die! Nothing is going to kill this bitch! If you were wondering, how I was able to come back from that metal tent incident, she was the one to revive me back. So...Are you in? Sister. (Smiles)
Kale: (I'll never let down Caulifla. The other me had gone through a hard life without her and now where we are. She's killing others for no reasons, but to bring back Caulifla. I won't let that happen to me, too!) Okay! Let's save Caulifla and make things right!
Kenya: Okay! (But the twist is...I'll be killing myself, so that Ghana won't revive me again. It's the right thing for me to do. Kale...Sorry for separating you in the first place. This plan will be my redemption!) Let's go! (Flies to the first floor)
Kenya and Kale fly up to the first floor to set up their plan. Meanwhile, Ghana and Caulifla are almost done with their fight. Ghana punches Caulifla so many times in the stomach, causing her to throw up blood. With the final hit to the face, Caulifla falls to the ground, completely hurt to get up. "This is it! I'm finishing this right now!" said Ghana as she pulls out her needle and covers it in her black aura. "Stop!" said Kale as she and Kenya arrive in time. Ghana sees Kenya and smiles at her. She tells her to kill Kale and finish the job. Kenya gives Ghana the death stare and tells her to shut up! She knows that she lied to her about her true identity! "I know! Me and her were below you two! Why did you not tell me this?!" said Kenya. Ghana is shocked that her story and secret is revealed to her. She tells Kenya that she only did it, so that she can be safe. She wanted her to be happy as her own individual. "Don't do anything stupid and try to stop me! I'm more powerful than you with the black aura I process! Hahaha!" said Ghana as she gets close to Caulifla with the enhanced needle. Kale looks at her and Caulifla. Kenya says to Kale to save her friend. "I got this." are Kenya's "final words" to Kale. With that out of the way, Kale goes to Ghana, pushes her away from Caulifla, and grabs her sister in arms.
Ghana: (Gets up and grunts at Caulifla and Kale) You bitch!
Kenya: (Places a gun to her head) Hey, Ghana!
Ghana: (Looks at Kenya) What the (bleep) are you doing!?
Kenya: Killing myself! You have to stop killing people! They don't deserve to die! They're innocent!
Ghana: Like I give shits for what or who they are! Life is pointless! To me, it's pointless! I just want Caulifla to come back to me and be happy again! Is that ALL that I want!?
Kenya: Even though I was with you for that long, I still felt like there was a connection between us. How we killed the rest of the saiyans on Planet Sadala, how we killed the soldiers and Cabba, and how we made out our plan? There was a connection that you did revive Caulifla. Just not physically.
Ghana: What the (bleep)-ing shit are you talking about!?
Kenya: I mean that Caulifla was with me the entire time. You just didn't see it. (Smiles) See you in Hell!
Ghana: No! Don't leave me!
Kenya: (Shoots herself in the head) … (Kale...I love you so much! I know that there's a good person inside of you. Please...make the right decision. Caulifla...keep Kale safe. You're her happiness. Don't...leave her!) (Falls to the ground, dead)
Ghana: NOOOOOOO! Caulifla! You can't leave me again! I need YOU!
Caulifla: (Looks at Kale) Kale? What happened?
Kale: Kenya sacrificed herself to save you.
Caulifla: Yeah. I've heard this bitch's story. I can't believe that me leaving you would make you into a psychopath. I'll never leave you again. Okay?
Ghana: (Angrily looks at Kale and Caulifla) You….Bitch! (Charges up) You ruined my plans to revive my friend back! For that, I'm going to kill you and your friend and then this (bleep)-ing planet! Everyone you love is going to die! (Charges her energy beam)
Kale: (Looks at Caulifla with a smile) Caulifla...I want to say that we're still sister in arms to the end. You gave your life for me and now… (Gets up) I'm going to do the same! (transforms into a super saiyan two)
Caulifla: Kale! Don't do it!
Kale: Trust me! I got this!
Caulifla: (makes a sad expression) No…
Ghana: Say good bye! (Fires her energy beam at the two)
The energy beam fires at the two girls. Caulifla is too weak to get up, but Kale is in front of her. She puts her hands up and says to her sister in arms that it was a pleasure to be her friend. "You helped be get out of a sad moment. My parents were the first ones to give me true happiness. After they saved me from a falling building, I was all alone. That's when you and your brother came. You gave me a home and some kindness. You weren't mean to me. You protected me from harm, taught me how to fight, and made me stronger. Caulifla...(Cries) I love you! It was nice for me to make more friends and have some kind of new life for myself. Berserker was a good friend to have for a while. (Looks at Caulifla) I want you to not follow what I did! Got it?" said Kale as she smile at her sister for the last time. "Kale!" said Caulifla as Ghana's energy beam hits Kale. A glow of green and black light covers the room for thirty seconds. When the lights disappears, Caulifla only sees some dust in the air. When the dust clears, shes sees something that makes her freeze in horror. A bleeding hole in Kale's chest. Through her chest is Ghana, who also has the same hole in her chest. "Kale! No! You can't die! NOOOO!" said Caulifla as she tries to get up and reach out for her friend. Her last energy runs out and Caulifla falls unconscious. Kale smiles at Ghana, saying that she's done her job. "I-I protected C-Caulifla! Now...Die! I'll be seeing you never!" Are Kale's final words, before falling to the ground. Ghana doesn't say anything. She falls to the ground as well, dead. What will happen now?
