Joker opened his Father's Mansion's door to face Ciel and Sebastian.
"We have been waiting for you. Earl Phantomhive" he greets angrily
"...Joker" Ciel says
Joker bows "please come inside"
The two walk inside and look around surprised.
"This way" Joker walks to the stairs
The two follow him
Sebastian leans down to Ciel "what do you want to do? Kill him right away and rescue the children?"
"Wait" Ciel instructed "If the kids are still alive, isn't it better if we catch them red handed? Also if we don't understand the situation or his goals completely, we can't report it to the queen. We don't know where Rose is so acting rashly could ruin any plans she's made"
"Understood" Sebastian agrees
They continue climbing the stairs as Joker speaks "Well they say don't judge a book by it's cover, you're a good example. That such a little body... lives under stage names such as "the watchdog of the queen" and "The Evil Nobleman" that's some hardship, Smile" Joker looks at him sadly
"My name is Earl Ciel Phantomhive" Ciel replies harshly "A servant shall not speak to me with such familiarities"
"Exactly.." Joker reaches the top doors "You are a Nobleman after all... you only care for your sister"
Ciel's eye's widen "why bring her up-"
"We have prepared dinner for you" Joker opens the doors "this way"
They enter a large dining hall with a stage in front of the table. Ciel sits at a chair as directed by Joker and Sebastian stands next to him.
Joker walks to a door opposite of the one they came in "He has arrived"
"You came to see me"
The doors open to reveal two children pushing a man in a wheel chair. A big man covered in bandages, the only thing that could be seen was his left eye, his nose, and his mouth, the rest of his face was covered with bandages.
"Earl Phantomhive" the man grins "though, I feel so ashamed to meet you while looking this way"
"..You are Baron Kelvin?" Ciel questions boredly
"That's right but it makes me feel awkward to be all formal with you" the man replies "I have prepared a feast for you"
Children come in with food and it is placed in front of them. Sebastian takes the drink in front of Ciel and tastes it.
"It doesn't seem to contain poison" Sebastian informs him
"I have no intention of touching food served by a rat so there is no need to taste for poison" Ciel replies then looks over at the kids "those children.. it looks like there are more victims that weren't included in the police info.. but their appearance-"
"that's it!" Baron Kelvin shouts "Just merely having a meal, Earl, you also feel bored right?" he looks over at Joker "Prepare "that" for me"
"eh" Joker looks worried "b-but..."
"Just do it!" the Baron orders
"...yes" Joker agrees
Moments later kids all appeared on the stage wearing basic circus clothes and masks.
Joker stood on stage and directed the kids "First we have a tightrope walker"
A little girl attempted to walk across a tightrope but fell off and hit the floor, blood pouring from her head, dead. Ciel watched with surprise and fear. Joker looked down in anger and sadness. The Baron clapped and laughed.
A kid dragged the dead girl's body off.
"Next is a wild-animal tamer" Joker introduces as a lion is wheeled out in a cage
They let the lion out and it immediately attacks the kid. Biting, ripping, and killing the boy. Joker clenches his teeth, and once again the Baron laughs.
"Next is a knife thrower"
A girl with black hair is tied to a board while another kid stands a bit in front of her and throws a knife.
"Stop it Sebastian!" Ciel shouts
Sebastian immediately catches the knife before it hits the little girl. Sebastian takes off her mask.
"Ellery Nickson who disappeared in the cornwall area" Sebastian says "there is no mistake young master"
"Kidnapped children are put into the show without any training. I see, this is just another way of enjoying a circus" Ciel says annoyed
"Sorry, that little girl must remind you of your younger sister, yes?" the Baron questions then turns to Joker "Joker! Clean up right now"
"I shall put a stop to this" Ciel stands up "this should be enough to report to the queen"
Sebastian puts a knife to Joker's throat to restrain him as Ciel puts a gun to the Baron's head
"Baron Kelvin, where are all the kidnapped children?" Ciel asks
"What! You want to meet those children?" The Baron asks excitingly "They are in the basement. I can take you there right away. Besides there was something I wanted to show you in the basement"
They walk down the stares until they reached the basement doors.
"Since that day, I have always regretted it" the Baron says "Why couldn't I be at your side that day in that place..."
"That day? My.. side?!" Ciel questions angrily "what are you actually talking about?"
"No matter how much I regretted it, time wouldn't turn back. But i realized. If i can't turn it back, then I should just do it once again" the Baron smiles as the doors open "with the next best thing, Look!"
"It took me three years to prepare it" the Baron says proudly, Ciel's face turned to a look of terror, the Baron grins "So, let's redo it Earl Phantomhive. Just like that Day 3 years ago! But this time, with the other Phantomhive!"
"Sebastian! Ciel!"
Sebastian and Ciel's eyes widen when they hear another voice, the two looks over to see Harlequin being brought in by Joker.
"Other Phantomhive..." Ciel's eyes turn to a look of anger after realization "No! Rose!"
"About time you dummy!" Rose cries
"So Harlequin is the young miss" Sebastian mumbles
"You bastard!" Ciel turns and shoots the Baron in the chest "You dare try to do this to my little sister!"
"Father!" Joker shouts
Sebastian instantly appears behind Joker and cuts off his prosthetic arm. He grabs Rose and kicks Joker away.
"Sebastian" Rose says hugging him
"there there young miss, I got you" Sebastian pats her head
Joker charges at Ciel, sword in hand. Rose's eyes glow red, in an instant she's in front of Joker and she cuts off his real arm.
"Please don't disturb my brother" Rose says
"hm" Sebastian stands next to her smirking "the one year alone has changed you"
"The cute and innocent me..." Rose narrows her eyes "was getting annoy"
"please.." The Baron grabs Ciel's leg "I beg you, if you're going to kill me, do it just like you did to everyone else on that day"
"the same as them?" Ciel steps on the Baron's head "kneel down like a worm then.. and beg the demon to do it"
Sebastian watches Ciel in amusement as Rose stood watching Joker.
"Please don't kill him!" Joker begs "Despite what he is, he saved us! We were abandoned by our parents and our country! He saved us from the fear of starvation! Many brothers and sisters of ours are still at the workhouse. If he dies we can't live on"
"and that's why.." Rose stares down at him "You kidnapped those children?" Joker looks at her with tears in his eyes, Rose looked over at the children in cages "you have obeyed this man in order to survive.. by sacrificing others?"
"ah.." Joker looks down sadly "yeah"
Ciel looks over "Only two kinds of people exist in this world. Those who steal and those who are stolen from. So then... today I just stole your future. That's all"
Joker laughs "Exactly! However... you will also have some important things stolen from you tonight. My fellow circus members are paying a visit to your manor tonight. Do you know why we have ever been caught while kidnapping all those children? It's because every witness has been killed"
Ciel, Sebastian and Rose just stare at him
"We circus members are professionals. We eliminate anyone who crosses our path while on a mission no matter who or what. I wonder how many people will be killed while they search the manor for you and your sister Earl?" Joker questions
"Killed huh?" Ciel asks
"yeah, even your servants won't be spared" Joker says
Rose begins to laugh
"What's so darn funny?!" Joker asks
"Just who do you think you are dealing with?" Ciel questions "they are servants of Phantomhive!"
Sebastian smirks
Rose finishes laughing "your so called siblings won't stand a chance. They are our private army Ciel and Sebastian picked for employment"
"What!" Joker shouts
Ciel looks at him "To protect the Phantomhive family's secrets and pride"
"are the Phantomhive family servants" Rose finishes
"the Phantomhive house is a phantom that exists solely for the purpose of eradicating the queen's distresses" Ciel tells him
"If you step into that den, you can never return into the light" Rose adds
Joker shakes his head "Those guys are pros, don't think you can easily..."
"You're free to believe it or not. However" Sebastian smirks "don't forget that these capable people are selected by me"
Joker begins to cry
"Don't cry so shamefully" Ciel looks down "crying won't change a thing. The world is not kind to anyone"
"You can be given one sliver of hope and it'll be ripped away from you in an instant" Rose took her hair out of a braid
"Smile... Harlequin..." Joker says
"Our names... are Ciel and Rose Phantomhive" Ciel glances at him "and those alone" Ciel walked over to Rose "you disobeyed me again, you left the townhouse and joined the circus"
"I joined before you even appeared" Rose crossed her arms
"I didn't want you getting hurt" Ciel says
"...Ciel" Rose looks at him seriously "Remember what i gave you on your birthday a couple years ago"
Ciel's eyes widened as the memory flashes in his head
"I know" Rose smiles and hands him a small box "but today is your day" she walks off to help the servants get plates and stuff
Ciel looks down at the box in his hands, he opens it and his eyes go wide. He closes the box before anyone else sees it and places it in his pocket.
Ciel clears his throat "yes.. why mention it now?"
"If you hate me disobeying you so much then do it" Rose tells him
Sebastian stands next to Rose
"..." Ciel looks down
"It wouldn't be a bad thing young master" Sebastian smiles "then she will truly be able to protect herself"
"...wait a minute forget that!" Ciel shouts looking at the two "Sebastian you did that to her!"
"..oh yes" Sebastian puts his hand on his chin "i did didn't I"
Rose's face turns red "not like I didn't ask for it"
"Seriously!" Ciel shouts
"Well I do find the young miss quite interesting" Sebastian says
"Sebastian's sexy" Rose shrugs
"Oh come on" Ciel complains "i thought Demon's don't feel love"
"that is not true young master" Sebastian smiles "I protect the young miss because I want to, not because you ask me to. I deeply care about her to maybe... where I do love her"
Rose's blush darkens
"Enough of this none-sense!" Ciel shouts "we will talk about this later"
"yes my Lord" Sebastian agrees
"whatever you say big brother" Rose replies
Ciel places his hand on his head "i don't know what to do with you two
The door suddenly opens revealing the doctor.
Rose sighs in annoyance "oh come on! It's still not over!"
