I don't own Loud House, the show belongs to Chris Savino and Nickelodeon.

Story inspired by Sid and Marty Krotts Land of the Lost TV series.

The sun shines down on the land, pterosaurs fly pass it with such grace, they flew looking for a safe place to land. Down below the iguanodon herd is grazing in a clearing, they were spread out as they feasted on tasty ferns, meanwhile the young ones played by running around before stopping to roughhouse a bit. The leader of the heard with a piece of fern in his hand, stood up watching the herd as he chewed on the fern; he suddenly picked up a scent and turned to face it.

The Tyrannosaurus charged out of the jungle, straight towards the herd. The leader immediately lets out a warning call, the others looked towards the predator then quickly ran off in a stampede. The Tyrannosaurus got to the area where the herd just stood, he lets out a roar of frustration at the feeling herd.

From a safe distance Lisa had watched behind the bushes with her newly, custom made binoculars. She puts them down as she scratched her chin in fascination, she had observed some interesting herding behaviors of the iguanodon species.

It has been a week since the Sleekstack attack, since then Lori still had her plant bandage on her shoulder, so far the wound wasn't healing which is concerning, and with her wound Lori had to do small tasks around their cave home. They also had mounted fire pits planted at the opening of the cave, as well as some crystals for some defense against the Sleekstacks, and none of them would go outside after dark.

Now Lisa was suppose to be helping Luna and Lincoln gather some carrots, but instead of helping her siblings, she is to busy observing the wildlife. Luna tied some rope against the carrot, after making sure that it is fully secured, she joined her brother on the end of the rope. "Ready bro?"

"Ready Luna."

"Alright pull!" The two pulled on the rope, the carrot remains firmly planted on the ground, they continued to pull and pull with no results; their hands slip causing them both to fall to the ground creating a good dust cloud. "Man, that was a epic fail." Luna stated.

Lincoln gets to his knees, "I'm sure we would've gotten it out if someone helped us." The two glared over at Lisa who had her back to them. "I'm sorry sibling units, but I'm the first scientist to ever study actual dinosauria, and picking carrots can simply wait."

Luna and Lincoln didn't like that answer, they glance at each other briefly, then walked over and brought her over to the rope with some protest. "But I was studying the hunting behavior of the tyrannosaur!"

"You can do that after we get these carrots out." Lincoln responded.

Lisa crossed her arms displeased, "Very well, but I'm missing some very vital information that will be tribute to paleontology. It could place me in the history books."

Luna looked at her in question, "Uh, how are you going to do that when we're trapped here?" Lisa stopped, that thought never crossed her mind as she had been to busy observing the dinosaurs. But now with help from her older sister, Lisa is fully reminded of the situation she and her family were in.

This land gave her the only chance to study these magnificent animals, she could even find out something about a certain species behavior that could change the paleontology books. But it wouldn't matter if they couldn't get home; there was a way in here, there just had to be a way out of here, but how? Now that was a question that Lisa had no idea how to answer, but she will find a way, for the name of science.

The three soon grabbed hold of the rope, "Alright" Luna began, "Lets do this dude's!" The three pulled hard, the carrot began to wiggle, then slowly it began to move until it popped out of the ground. Luna lets out a rocker scream over their achievement, "Alright dudes! Carrot is served!"

"I wished you haven't screamed." Lisa stated in a monotone voice.

Luna looked down at her younger sister with a eyebrow raised. "Why not sis?"

"You could attract the tyrannosaur." Lisa simply replied.

"Yeah, that's a good reason." Lincoln added.

As if to proof a point, the three heard the roar of the Tyrannosaurus. The three jumped, they quickly looked out at the clearing. The Tyrannosaurus stood close by looking around the area for any potential prey, he sniffed the air; he stopped as he caught a scent. "Siblings" Lisa began in a whisper, "We should get out of here post haste."

"Good idea sis."

Luna with the help of Lincoln picked up the carrot, together they silently left the area just as the Tyrannosaurus loomed over the bushes. He walked into the carrot field where he stopped, he lowers his large head to the ground giving it a couple sniffs. The scent he had picked up is strong here, he rose his head back up sniffing the air where he picked up the scent. Using his superior sense of smell, he followed the scent.

Luna, Lisa, and Lincoln traveled a good distance, Lisa walked ahead of her siblings; she took a couple notes on some passing meganeuras. The dragonflies flew around in a dogfight, their wings could be heard which almost sounds like a helicopter, they then flew away disappearing in the jungle.

Luna and Lincoln heaved as they carried the carrot; with it being a bit bigger, it was a bit more heavier. The two siblings arms were beginning to get tired, sweat went down their faces, and they both began to pant. Luna soon stopped, "Dudes I need a break."

"I can use a break to." Lincoln added.

The two carefully place the carrot down before resting themselves against a tree. Lisa however studied some of the plant life nearby.

"So Luna," Lincoln began. "You think we're ever going to get home?"

Luna sighed as she looked down at her feet. "I honestly don't know little bro. During our stay here we haven't even started looking for a way home. Maybe we can't get home." Luna stated gloomy.

"But if there's a way we got in here, there's got to be a way out." Lincoln protested, "Dad mention that he saw that vortex thing in the whirlpool, if we could find another one we could get home." He added.

Luna gives him a small smile, "Love your enthusiasm bro, but where are we even going to find one of those."

Lincoln went slumped over that question. "I don't know. I honestly wish we were in some kind of dream that we could just wake up from." A sudden noise gets the twos attention, it was a low moaning roar that is followed by big footsteps.

"Too bad it isn't bro." Luna whispered.

Slowly the two peered behind the tree; it was a torosaurus with a wounded leg. The horned dinosaur had picked off a fern and ate it slowly. "Ah" Luna and Lincoln jumped as Lisa did a Lucy on them by standing next to them. "It's the male torosaurus that lost the breeding fight. Seems like he's been separated from the herd by that injury."

The massive herbivore shallowed the piece of fern he was eating. Luna and Lincoln kinda felt sorry for him, being separated by its herd surly wasn't easy for him, they knew it would be hard for one of them if they got separate from their family. They continued to watch the dinosaur of course while being careful not to make any noise, the last thing they needed is to have a angry horned dinosaur after them.

They are completely unaware that something else is watching the torosaurus. The Tyrannosaurus bursts out of the trees, the torosaurs only had time to turn his head when the massive carnivore bit down on his back. The torosaurus roars in pain, he struggles by moving around but the Tyrannosaurus followed his movements, his teeth sink deeper and deeper into the back.

The torosaurus then did a sudden thrash, he broke free from the predator's hold, then quickly turned his body and stabbed his right horn into Tyrannosaurus's leg, the horn had missed the bone, the Tyrannosaurus roars in pain; the torosaurus waved his horns at the belly but the Tyrannosaurus moved away a few steps.

The two faced each other; the Tyrannosaurus let's out a loud mighty roar while the torosaurus shook his head around in a defensive display. The Tyrannosaurus steps forward, in response the torosaurus backed away a bit but stood his ground. The torosaurus needed an opportunity to stab the predator in a vital area, if he could stab his horns into the chest he could kill it and get away.

The Tyrannosaurus snapped at his face, he avoids the waving horns. The torosaurus lets out a defensive roar and charged forward in a burst of speed; the Tyrannosaurus caught by surprised swiftly sidesteps, if he had delayed in just a second the torosaurus's horns would've stabbed into his stomach. The Tyrannosaurus now has an opening, he lunged forward and grabbed the neck; the torosaurs struggles uselessly, with a crunch from his bone crunching jaws the torosaurs goes limp.

The Tyrannosaurus lets go of his prey and the body dropped onto the ground. The Tyrannosaurus lowers his head near the side, droll drips onto the skin, he then placed his foot on the body to hold it down as he tore into it; with a great crunch he tore out a great chunk of meat where he proceeded to shallow it whole.

Luna and Lincoln were shocked over the fight they just seen, it was truly shocking to see the animal they were sympathetic with get killed and become a meal for the large carnivore. Lisa however watched in fascination as the way the Tyrannosaurus ate was much like a bird. "This is so fascinating."

Luna carefully touched both of her siblings shoulders and whispered, "We should get going dudes."

"But I need to study the feeding habits of the Tyrannosaurus." Lisa protested.

"Do that later sis, I don't want him to have us as a side."

"I wouldn't worry older sibling, with that big of a meal he will just ignore us. The more likely scenario is that he'll view us as a couple of rivals and will defend his meal."

"Oh that's more comforting." Lincoln remarked.

"Come on were getting out of here, but be very quiet dudes." Luna and Lincoln slowly walked over to their carrot, and then slowly and carefully walked away from the feeding site, Lisa followed behind reluctantly.

The Tyrannosaurus tears off another chunk of flesh, it hung its head above the body, the chunk of flesh remains in his mouth as he glanced around the area before lifting his head up and shallowed it whole.

The environment had changed around the three siblings; it became misty, the trees looked different, and there seemed to be more bugs everywhere. Luna and Lincoln looked around uncomfortably as they didn't recognized the area, not one bit; they must've taken a wrong turn somewhere.

"Dudes we are so lost."

Lincoln felt himself jump as a unknown animal called out from the distance. "Yeah, this is definitely not good. Lisa do you know where we are?"

Lisa looked around the area with a critical eye, "Judging by the conditions of the environment, I say we wondered into a wetland area."

Lincoln lets out a groan, "Great were in a swamp."

Lisa nodded, "That's correct older brother. Now we could find our way back to our shelter if I can find the position of the sun or I could climb a high tree to get a good bearing on the land. We should also be careful as we navigate through here, not only from the local wildlife but also from any environment hazards."

"Like what?" Luna asked.

"Like quicksand, maybe some tar pits, thick mud that you can get stuck in, and sudden areas filled with water." Lisa answered bluntly.

The three trek through the swamp keeping a watchful eye for any hazards, about some time later as they walked deeper into the swamp Lincoln had tripped over something, Luna put the carrot down and immediately kneeled down to her brother in concern. "Bro are you alright?"

Lincoln gets to his knees, his shirt and arms is stained with mud. "I'm fine, I just tripped over some log."

"Brother" Lisa began while she looked at the thing Lincoln tripped over move. "That's not a log." Luna and Lincoln turned and saw the thing rear up revealing that it was a giant millipede.

Lisa looked at it in astonishment, "Mother of science! It's a Arthropeura!"

Luna and Lincoln were as you can imagine freaked out over the giant bug; the Arthropeura swayed around letting out defensive clicking, its mandibles pinch together. "Is this thing dangerous?" Lincoln asked as he and his older sister held their hands up defensively.

"I wouldn't think so, this defensive display is to make it seem bigger."

"Bigger? But it's huge sis!" Luna protested.

The Arthropeura does one last swing before getting on the ground and crawl away into the undergrowth. They followed the bushes move until they stopped, Lisa glanced up and spotted something reflecting off the sun. "What's that?"

Luna and Lincoln looked in the direction Lisa is looking at; it was a very familiar structure that the two recognized as they seen another one like it when they first got here. It was another one of those pyramid things, like the one they first saw it was making a strange noise, but it is also more golden color.

Lisa walked up to it, Luna and Lincoln fallowed slowly behind. Standing next to it Lisa couldn't help but be amazed by this strange structure, it was so smooth and cold. Lisa then notices the smaller triangular thing on it, it was high up but by using a nearby stick she reached it up, and used the stick to turn the smaller triangular thing. A sound erupted from the pyramid structure as a door opened up.

"Fascinating." Lisa entered the pyramid structure, Luna and Lincoln raced up to the opening in worry. "Hey Lisa don't mess with anything in there." Lincoln warned.

"Yeah Lis, these things can somehow control the weather." Luna added.

Lisa looked over the table full of glowing crystals. "Preposterous." Lisa pushed in a series of crystals, Luna and Lincoln waited for lighting to flash and thunder to boom. But surprisingly nothing happened, instead all they heard is Lisa fid with the crystals; after a while Lisa came out of pyramid structure.

"See older siblings nothing happened." Lisa exclaimed.

Lincoln and Luna were definitely confused. "That's odd, I wondered why this one doesn't control the weather?" Lincoln wondered out loud.

"Probably does something different bro." Luna answered.

"I wonder what it controls?"

Luna shrugged, "Probably nothing serious."

"Siblings" Lisa called out, Luna and Lincoln turned to Lisa who had began to walk into the swamp. "We should get going."

Luna and Lincoln glances back to the pyramid structure for a brief movement before shrugging it off, they then went to catch up with their genius little sister.

What they didn't know is that the pyramid structure aka the pylon had control of something big, something so big that it could threaten the life of the land. Up on the tallest mountain, the peak of the mountain had collapsed inward, a great ash cloud rose up from the now very active volcano.

It was normally dormant, but thanks to Lisa's meddling with the pylon it has become a active volcano that is ready to blow anytime. When it erupts it will cause great devastation on the land. The only hope for the Louds as well as the rest of the land were three skylones. They were some type of machine that looked over the pylons, they were responsible for repairs if something went wrong with one of them.

The skylons flashed a series of colors as they flew towards the swampland.
