The Mission's Speed Bump
A few minutes later, Stephanie came down to the kitchen.
"That is where we're are going Saturday night." She asked them.
"Yeah, Little one I can tell them you are not feeling well." Tank told said as he looked at her.
"No you can't Pierre, if you do that, Robbins will smell that something is up and you and Joe know it. I have to be by your side tomorrow night." Stephanie told them.
"I know right, but I hope to god this does not get messy." Tank said.
"You mean messier." Morelli replied.
"Oh no!" Stephanie yelled.
"What" Tank looked at the third picture with short Blond girl waiting a table.
Tank noticed Stephanie going through her big bag and took out a file. She handled the bond file to Tank.
"Oh shit. Vinnie's Bond bonded her out and you got her." Tank passed the file to Morelli.
"This could be trouble." Tank picked up and called Ranger.
"What one of the waitresses is bonded and guess where." "Okay I will talk to Connie and we will find her before tomorrow night." Ranger was off.
Ranger walked into Vinny's Bond. "Hey Ranger, where is he?"
"In his office. Good luck getting in it is double bolted again." Connie told Ranger.
"Vinny open up, now or I will break down the door." Ranger told him.
"He's here all ready. I will do what he wants promise." Vinny told his father-in-law. Ranger heard the phone click.
Vinny opened his office door. "you just heard from your Father-in-Law didn't you" Ranger asked him.
"Yes, so you know that the office will be closed for the weekend. And you are to do no bond's until Monday morning or there will be trouble got Vinny."
"Got it." Vinny said skakely. Ranger told him then walked out of the office.
"Okay boys let's go get her." Ranger ordered them.
A few hours later, Tank, Joe, and Stephanie were getting ready for dinner with the Plums when the Rangeman phone rang.
"Ranger" Stephanie said as he entered the house.
"Here you go Babe, you bond check" Ranger handed her the check.
"What if she finds another bond office" Morelli asked.
"Not likely" Ranger said
"Because of what is going on right now there are no court cases heard by the court on the weekends." Ranger told her.
"Of course, the court house is over booked because lack of Judges." Stephanie said out loud.
"Exactly." Ranger answered her.
"Have fun tomorrow night. Be very careful." Ranger walked out.
"Does he do this often for you?" Morelli asked.
"Not very often only when I am in a very different situation." Stephanie told Morelli.
"Let's go or we will be late for mom's." Stephanie put the check in her big bag that she was not using right now.
All three of them left.
"Hal, I want you to park it out side Tank's house and if you see anything funny take care of it." Ranger told him.
"Got it." Hal hung up drove up to Tank's house and waited.
While at the Plums, Todd Robbins right hand man snuck up to Tank's house. But he failed getting in.
Hal walked right up to him. "Hi" Hal said to Todd Robbin's right hand man. "You under arrest for trespassing." Hal said he started to run, but Lester was right there and clocked on the right eye. He went down like a sack of Potatoes.
"We got him boss; we will meet you at the station."
"Good I will bring the usual surveillance tapes and let Tank know the good news" Ranger hung up then.
A few minutes later, Tank's phone was ringing, he looked at the number and "I have to take this sorry." Tank kissed Stephanie on top of the head.
"Yeah, boss" Tank said,
"Good news, Todd Robbin's right hand man was picked up tonight for trespassing on your land, don't worry he did not even get in the house and I double checking to make sure he did not leave you or Stephanie any presents. You won't have to worry about him tomorrow night."
"He was hunting" Tank replied.
"Yup and he was caught big time. We finally have an edge." Ranger told Tank then hung up.
"Man, I love my job" Tank said as he entered the house again. Kissed Stephanie softly on the lips.
"Good news" She said to her husband.
"Oh yeah tell you later." Tank replied to her.
After dinner they said their good nights, and were about to walk out the door when their SUV blew up.
"Perfect." Tank got on the phone.
Tank's phone rang.
"We fine, but SUV is toast."
"I am on my way." Ranger told him.
A few minutes later, Ranger came with a new SUV a couple minutes later.
"Okay, is this a new one." Tank asked.
"Yes, so try not to get this one blown up" Ranger told him and then left.
"Okay we ready to go home now." Tank said
"Please" Stephanie said.
All three of them left the Plums and went home for the night.
When they got home, Tank started to talk. "We have some good news, we have Ross. He was trespassing on our property Stephanie. He is in jail for the weekend unless Todd has paid off a judge." Tank said "which I highly doubt that he that rich."
"We finally have an upper hand." Stephanie said and then rushed into Tank's arms. Tank swung her around a couple of time.
"Pierre put me down." Stephanie begged, He put her down and then she ran into the bathroom and puked.
"A little too much boss," Morelli said.
"little one, so sorry" Tank told his wife.
"I am okay" Stephanie told Tank as she came out of the bath room.
"Come on darling let's go to bed." Stephanie told her husband.
"See you in the morning" Tank told Morell.
The next morning, they were getting ready for dinner with Todd Robbins and his wife Tiffany at St. Pierre's Restaurant.
A couple of hours later, the limo came.
"Time to go, Boss" Thomas said to Tank.
"Ready little one." He looked at Stephanie who was in the
Black dress again.
"All set darling" Stephanie said as she put her arm through his arm. They walked out got into the limo with Thomas in tow.
They walked into St. Pierre's Restaurant." Todd's mouth dropped when saw Stephanie.
"Stephanie, I did not think you would come to this kind of place." Todd said in shock.
"I am attached to my husband" Stephanie told him.
"Where is Tiffany?" Stephanie asked that is when Tiffany walked up to the table in some lingerie, and sat down on her husband's lap.
"What can I get you?" The waitress came up to Pierre?" Pierre's sister asked in some slinky lingerie.
"Order what ever you want Pierre, I own this restaurant." Todd told him.
"Dry martini no olives" Pierre told her.
"Got it." She then left to fill the order.
"Where is Ross?" Pierre asked
"Something came up and he could not make it." Todd told them.
"I like you Pierre, and I like your company, I have done some thinking and I want to offer you one contract to start with. Here is the contract, what do you say?" Todd asked.
"You got your self a deal but I would like my lawyer to look at it first." Pierre asked him.
"Of course, be my guest. Let me know what he says. Here is my number give me a call when your lawyer is done looking it over, this is not problem. I can understand considering this was your father's company. Time to go Tiffany." Todd told her.
"absolutely daring, and I like to see you get into something like this Stephanie." Tiffany whispered into her ear.
After Todd and Tiffany left. Pierre lifted Stephanie up off his lap, and then stood up .
"Time to go. Thanks for dry martini." Tank left 200.00 for a tip.
"Where is the limo?" Stephanie asked.
"They took it," Thomas said.
"So how do we get home?" Stephanie asked.
Thomas got on the phone, a few minutes later a cab came.
"Here you go boss." Thomas said as he opened the door.
Tank got in then Stephanie, and Thomas."
"Where to?" Captain Potter asked.
"825 Royal Drive South Trenton." Pierre told the driver
"Got it" The driver then started the long drive back to Pierre's house.
Once they got in they saw Ranger, and Agent Tallen waiting inside for them.
"Well done" Agent Tallen told the three of them. You have to sign that don't he" Morelli asked
"Nope we got covered." Agent Tallen said to Morelli.
"You see, if Tank signs that contract he loses his company." Agent Tallen told Morelli.
"Because he does not legally on the line company does, I do own it, but so do my brother and sister. They told me that they will not sign the contract. So we came up with a game plan. Uncle Henry come on in. This is our Uncle Henry Sherman, He technically owns the airline company. When he dies we company. Rodney said.
"Agent Tallen, you promise me that nothing will happen to my company if I sign this contract." Henry asked him.
"You have my word." Agent Tallen told him.
"Fair enough" Henry said and then signed the contract as Pierre Franklin.
"Thank you Mr. Franklin" Agent Tallen told him.
"Your welcome I too believe in justice. Felicia put some clothes on we don't own a strip club." Her uncle to her.
"Yes, uncle Henry."
"Good night ladies and gentleman" then Uncle Henry left.
"Is he gone?" Felicia asked.
"Yeah, he gone sis." Rodney yelled.
"Good" Felicia came down in a tight black mini skirt and very tight red halter top with 6 inch heels.
"Let me guess, south Stark Street tonight." Morell said out loud.
"Yep my shift is just starting." Felicia said to them.
"Be careful out there." Morelli said to her.
"always, and yes Rodney I have back up tonight." Felicia then walked out of Tank's house.
"She has more back up then she realizes." Ranger told everyone.
"Nicely done everyone." Agent Tallen came back in. "I faxed the contract to my boss. We move in and take Todd Robbins and his trophy wife tomorrow morning. This one contract was enough." He finished saying
"Just one question what is he transporting." Morelli asked.
"We can tell you now. Guns, missiles, and crack for starters and yes we do have photos and some of his guns and missiles in our evidence box." Tallen told them.
"Good night people and well done." Agent Tallen was about to walk out but Morelli asked. "what about the murders he did"
"Your captain gave us all you had, we will take care of it" Agent Tallen said and then walked off.
"He is going to skate on the murder Captain and everyone here in this house knows it." Morelli told everyone.
"Probably" Captain Potter walked out of the house.
"Ranger, this sucks" Stephanie said out loud.
"Yes, babe it does." Ranger said and then walked out too.
"Come on little one time for bed." Tank told her and they went to the master bedroom.
" I am going to stay here tonight in your old bedroom Pierre." Rodney said and then walked to Pierre's old room.
"Just stay out of my closet huh Rodney" Pierre told him.
"Gotta love family." Morelli said and then went to the guest room for the night.
