Welcome back to Age of Miracles. Last time, Dragnarok and company learned the location of Eternal's base of operations via Vision's connection to the Mind Stone, but just as they could begin making plans to siege the place, Mister Miracle arrived, bringing with him bad tidings, that Eternal is after the Anti-Life Equation. But in a surprising twist, it was confirmed by Mister Miracle himself that the Anti-Life Equation, fragmented by Darkseid, is stuck within the members of the Misfits of Evil. So now the mission is to recover the rest of the group. How's that going to go? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes in the hangar of the Watchtower, where Dragnarok and Mister Miracle stand waiting for allies to arrive.)

Mister Miracle: When did you say these allies of yours would be arriving again?

Dragnarok: They said they were going to be gathering allies, so I have no idea.

(Just as the two start talking, the elevator behind them opens, which Dragnarok picks up on)

Dragnarok: But some of the team is already here.

(Turning around, we see the group assembled: Hellboy, Rorschach, Spider-Man Noir, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, War Machine, Miss Martian, and a strange addition: Hulk, but not the rage monster you were expecting, more so akin to Professor Hulk from Endgame, which apparently is surprising to Dragnarok.)

Dragnarok: (Seeing Hulk) Doctor Banner? Didn't expect to see you, especially after you and the big guy started in conflict.

Hulk: Long story short, after seeing Thanos begging for our help, Big Green decided to start talking. Give it a few hours of talking later, and the next thing we know, we wind up like this.

Dragnarok: Good to know we'll have the Hulk on our side.

(Just as the group starts to chat, the hangar door opens, revealing the Waverider landing in the bay. As soon as it does, the door opens, revealing White Canary and a rather large team: Atom, Heatwave, Zari, Vixen, Commander Steel, Black Canary, Captain Cold, the Ray, Wild Dog, Constantine, Black Lightning, Mister Terrific, Batman Beyond, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Ronin, Wasp, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Falcon, Blue Beetle, and M'Baku)

Dragnarok: (Seeing White Canary) Captain Lance. Good to see you could make it.

White Canary: Sorry it took so long. Figured we'd need all the help we could get.

Dragnarok: And you picked a set of good ones. (To Black Panther, with a Wakandan salute) Your Highness.

Black Panther: It's good to see you again, Dragnarok. My apologies for not responding sooner.

Dragnarok: You needn't worry. We understood Wakanda was your top priority. But if you're here, who's running things back home?

Black Panther: Okoye mostly. I tried convincing M'Baku over here to work with her.

M'Baku: You would really expect the Lord of the Jabari to sit out of a fight that threatens our entire universe? Good luck with that.

Dragnarok: (Chuckling) I expected nothing less. (Seeing Captain Cold) I don't believe it. Lenny Snart! How long has it been!?

Captain Cold: Too long kid. How're your parents? (As Dragnarok clutches the gem around his neck) Oh. Right. Forgot. Sorry.

Dragnarok: It's okay. (Seeing Hawkeye and Ronin) So... I'm guessing Clint's in black?

Ronin: (Taking off his mask) You guess correctly.

Dragnarok: So who's your friend here?

Hawkeye: Kate Bishop, at your service.

Dragnarok: (To Ronin) Since when did you have an apprentice?

Ronin: Long story that I'm guessing we don't have time to tell.

Dragnarok: And you'd be correct. We need to get moving, quickly. So let me get you all up to speed.

(With that, we transition into the Waverider, where the entire group is gathered around the bridge as Dragnarok tries to pull up the display of their mission)

Dragnarok: Alright, here's the mission. (Pulls up images of the remaining members of the Misfits of Evil) These 11 individuals have each been infused with a fragment of the Anti-Life Equation, which has put a big target on their backs courtesy of our mutual enemy Eternal. The objective is simple, get them all together so Scott can extract the equation from them.

Blue Beetle: So we split up and try to escort them back to the Watchtower. Sounds easy enough.

Black Widow: Too many targets and too big a risk for the teleporter system. Especially since we have no idea what the enemy is going to throw at us.

Dragnarok: Nat's right, we need to draw as little attention as possible. We'll need to escort them to a secondary location. From there we'll beam down the six we have and Mister Miracle will extract the Equation, then get him out of there as quick as possible.

Captain Marvel: So where's the secondary location?

Dragnarok: (Pulling up the image of the Misfits' Crime Alley base) Here. Their own headquarters. Nobody will suspect it.

Heatwave: Everyone will suspect it. It's the first place they'd look.

Dragnarok: That's kind of what I'm counting on. It's too obvious. Anything Eternal or Luthor Jr. could throw at us will be too distracted looking somewhere else to realize the obvious.

Zari: Sounds like a big risk we're taking.

Vixen: No bigger than the risks we take day in and day out preserving the timeline.

Commander Steel: Alright, sounds like you can count us in. Unless the captain has any objections.

White Canary: None here.

Dragnarok: Alright then. You'll each split off in groups of three to pick up each of the targets, then rendezvous with Mister Miracle and I at the appointed location.

Atom: Wait, there's not enough people here to do that, with you two at a secondary location.

Dragnarok: To be fair, one member of our existing team is unavailable. Raiden's currently on another mission, but I informed him of the situation and asked that he join up with the short team once he's finished.

Black Canary: So long as we've got a plan, let's get on it.

Dragnarok: Agreed. So let's get moving. Every second we waste, the enemy moves one step closer to the Anti-Life Equation.

Hellboy: So let's cut the crap and get going.

Dragnarok: You heard the guy. Let's go.

(And as the group splits up for their mission, our tale ends for today)
