Thank you so much Angels-heart 1, Leann Nickerson, Nicole Miklos and Blondie 20000 for your feedback and encouragement!

Okay now that I've accepted that I'm basically going to have to follow the show I decided I'm going to try doing basically episode tags. So this is my tag to 15x7 - Last Call. Completely focuses on Jo and Dean because it's their story *grin* and well this thing would have been twice as long trying to work in the bunker scenes too.

I hope people like this part and for some reason I just needed to flesh Lorna out more. I actually kinda like the character.

Anywho...thank you again! You all are the best.

Enjoy,

Val

Chapter 28

Dean came out of the bathroom and saw Jo sitting on the bed scrolling through her grinned as she looked up at Dean. "Think I found a case."

Dean frowned as he let the towel around his waist drop to the floor and he made his way over to Jo. "A case…I thought we were doing the whole spending quality time together thing."

Jo shrugged her shoulders, "you've been encouraging me since Ami was six weeks old to get back into hunting and I think I'm really ready and I found us a case that I think would be good for me to dip my toes back in with."

"So you want us to go on a hunt together?" He asked as he climbed into bed next to her.

"Might be good for both of getting back into the game." She said as she held the phone out towards Dean. "Got a woman in Texas that claims her girlfriend was 'raptured' from a bar room parking lot."

"Could be nothing," Dean said as he scanned the article.

"So we take a little trip to Texas, burn off some built up energy. "She told him as she accepted the phone back and clicked it off.

"I can think of other ways we can burn off that energy," he said as he tugged her close.

Jo snorted, "I can't imagine what you're talking about…seriously though… I say we do this."

Dean pulled back and looked into Jo's hopeful eyes and smiled." I think working a case together would be good for us. We'll head out in the morning. Now about the other way to burn off that energy…"

Jo laughed as she wrapped her arms around Dean's neck, "well I already checked and there's nothing on TV so I guess sex would be one way to pass the time."

"Smartass," Dean quipped as he kissed the woman beneath him.

"I called Sam to let him know that we're heading to Texas for a case." Dean said as Jo climbed into the passenger seat of the idling Impala and passed him a cup of coffee.

"How's everything at the bunker?" She asked as she opened the bag in her hand and passed Dean one of the egg, steak and cheese bagel sandwiches she had picked up for them.

"Fine…him and Eileen have been doing some research. Cas and Ash finished their hunt and Cas is headings back to the bunker while Ash heads to the cabin to see Bill and Ellen."

"Oh good," Jo said as she took a bite of her sandwich.

"Right, so if we drive through the day and only stop for food and gas we can get the bulk of the drive in before we stop for the night." Dean told her as he took a gulp of his coffee before unwrapping his breakfast sandwich.

"Okay," Jo agreed as she pulled up the driving directions on her phone.

Dean glanced over at Jo and swallowed the sudden lump in his throat as it finally hit was their first hunt together since Carthage. "You know, we don't have to do this."

"What?" Jo said as she looked up in surprise at his sudden change in attitude.

"Just realized the last time we went out together it didn't end so well." He explained.

Jo put her sandwich back in the bag before reaching over to place her hand on his arm. "Dean, you know it wasn't your fault. That if was Mom or Sam on the ground that day I would have done the same thing. We were a team."

"I know…you had become a great hunter…I never thought I would get to tell you that. Rufus was really impressed with how good you got in such a short amount of time too."

Jo sighed at the mention of her mentor and friend. Chewing on her lower lip she finally asked the question she had been dreading since her memories came back. "How did it happen?"

Dean reached down and turned the engine had wondered when she would ask the question and took a shaky breath as he told Jo about the Khan worm that had taken over Bobby's body and that it forced Bobby to killed Rufus." He never got over it and Rufus had their issues but deep down they were good friends."

Jo nodded her head as she reached up and wiped away her tears. "Can I confess something to you?"

"Of course," Dean said as he frowned at the way Jo was ducking her head.

"Rufus really become a second father to me and part of me always felt like I was betraying my real Dad for feeling that way. For loving him like a father."

Dean nodded his head in understanding, "same for me. Bobby was more of a father to me than my old man most of the time. I felt guilty for feeling that way for a long time but you know what…I have every right to feel that way. Dad put his vendetta before me and Sam everyday but Bobby put us first when he could get us away from my Dad. I'm not going to feel guilty for the way I feel about Bobby but it doesn't mean I didn't love my Dad too."

Jo smiled as she nodded her head. This was why they were so good together. They both understood where the other one came from since they both grew up in the life. Nobody else could ever truly understand them like they could understand each other.

Dean returned her smile, "let's get going."

"You sure?" she asked gently.

"Yeah I'm sure," he told her as he put the car in drive and pulled. "Let's go check out this supposed rapture."

"Sounds good to me," Jo said as she pulled her previously discarded sandwich and began munching on it as she read the directions on her phone while Dean clicked on the radio and soon The Doors 'Riders on the Storm' was filling the car.

Dean walked around the car to stand next to Jo who was staring up at the building before them. "Seriously…Swayze's this is what happens when civilians run a roadhouse." She said with a shake of her head.

Dean snorted at her obvious disgust, "come on 'Road House' was an awesome movie." He argued.

Jo turned and gaped her companion, "Oh my God they got so much wrong in that movie it's not 'To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar' was an awesome Swayze movie."

Dean turned to ask Jo if she had completely lost her mind when he saw her chewing the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing. "Funny Harvelle, funny."

"I'm sticking by my original argument. Some lame red neck saw that movie one too many times and opened this joint."

"Come on, you can be disgusted while we question people," he teased as they headed inside.

Jo looked around and rolled her eyes, "the only good thing this place has going for it is that band isn't half bad."

Dean offered a halfhearted 'un hun' before his attention was pulled to the side when a brunette walked over to him and said, "hey there."

"Nice place," Dean said giving her his trademark smile.

The brunette eyed Dean appreciatively and said, "best beer and wings in the world."

"I'll be the judge of that," he flirted missing the eye roll Jo was giving him.

"Sure you will, handsome. But first, hand it over." She purred as she held the basket up.

"My gun?" Dean asked.

The brunette laughed, "this is Texas, Sweetheart. You can keep your gun. Cellphone. Ain't a party if everyone's on their phone."

"Right," Dean said he dropped his phone into the basket. "So I'm looking for someone."

The brunette grinned, "Oh, but I think you found her."

Jo choked on the beer she had grabbed off of a passing waitress's tray causing the brunette to finally take notice of her.

"Hey there," the other woman said as she eyed Jo in a way that had Dean cock his eyebrow and grin at Jo.

"Hey," Jo said as she took a pull of her looked up when the woman held the basket out towards her.

"Sorry, no can parents are watching our daughter so one of us has to keep our phone handy just in case." Jo said as she wink at the woman.

"Daughter," the other woman said as she looked over her shoulder towards Dean.

"Yup, four months old." He told her with a grin.

"So," Jo said as she caused the woman to turn back and look at her. "We're looking for Sally Anderson. Have you seen her?"

"Not yet, but it's "two for Tuesday." She'll show up." The woman told her.

"Thanks," Jo said as the band finished their song.

"You're welcome," the brunette said as she eyed Jo and said with a grin, "I'll make an exception on the phone rule for you Sugar."

Dean's eyes widen when the other woman started to walk past and he saw her slap Jo's hunter turned eager eyes at Jo who laughed and said,"not happening Winchester."

"Oh come on Jo," Dean said as he turned to follow the waitress and stopped short when he saw the man on the stage as he hopped down and started towards them. "Son of a bitch. Lee Webb."

"What?" Jo asked.

"The singer," Dean said as he nodded towards the stage. "His name is Lee Webb."

"Oh and how do you know this Lee Webb?" Jo asked as she tucked her phone into her pocket and turned towards where Dean was looking and watched as Lee hopped down and headed towards them.

"Dean friggin Winchester," Lee Webb said as he stood in front of Dean before pulling him in for a hug.

Jo smirked as she watched the men in front of her as Dean slapped the other man on the back before they pulled shook his head and laughed in disbelief before turning towards Jo and waved her close. "Jo this is Lee , this is my better half Jo Harvelle."

Lee looked at Jo and grinned, "no way this beautiful woman is slumming with you." Lee teased as he pulled a startled Jo in for a hug.

"Paws off," Dean told him as he slapped the back of Lee's head. "So what are you doing here?"

Lee rubbed his head, "I own the about you, what are you doing here."

"We're working a case," Dean told him as he wrapped an arm around Jo's waist.

"You're still hunting?" Lee asked.

"Well yeah," Dean said.

"Dean Winchester," Lee said again with a laugh as he looked over towards the brunette who had greeted Dean and Jo when they got there. "Hey Lorna, can we get a few beers over here for me and my friends." He called to her as he draped an arm around both Dean and Jo's shoulders. "Come on, let's sit down and catch up."

SPNSPSNSNP

"So how's he old man?" Lee asked.

Dean gave him a sad smile, "he died…13 years hey he went out doing what he loved the most, kicking ass and taking names."

"I'm sorry man," Lee said.

"Thanks, I appreciate that." Dean told him.

"I always liked that crusty son of a bitch," he said before turning towards Jo. "Harvelle, any relations to the Harvelle Roadhouse?" He asked.

"My parent's place." Jo explained.

"Your parent's…then that means Bill Harvelle was your old man."

"He was," she said as she nodded her head.

He gave her a slight smile, "I met him once, back on one of my first helped me out…saved my ass actually."

"Sounds like my Dad," Jo said.

"He was good man and a great hunter. I'm sure he'd be proud you're following in his footsteps."

"I hope so," Jo murmured sadly as Lorna came over with the smiled when she felt Dean reached over and squeezed her hand.

Lee looked over at Dean, "hey you remember the time your old man caught us wasted on that was so made, I thought he was gonna have an aneurysm."

Dean laughed, "oh man but I'll tell you always liked fact, he said that he'd never seen anybody better in a fight and that was high praise coming from my old man."

Lee nodded his head he lifted the beer in front of him, "To John Winchester."

Dean and Lee continued to catch up while Jo looked around the bar, waiting for Sally to show 's stopped looking around when she heard Dean asked Lee if he ever regretted walking away from hunting.

She frowned slightly at the tone of his voice and wondered if Dean was thinking about had to wonder if it wasn't just the fight with Chuck that was causing Dean to think about hanging up his 's said on more than one occasion that he wanted them to have another child…hell he had actually told her he wouldn't mind a few more kids.

Jo was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard Dean say, "okay, one…three bottles of Jaeger is nobody's friend and B they were twins."

"No…no….no…no," Lee argued as Jo and Lorna smirked at both men. "No they were not were triplets and we split them up fair and square."

Dean laughed, "that's right…triplets…yeah…yep." He said as he raised his shot glass and the men toasted and drank their shots.

Lorna looked at Dean before looking towards Jo and purred, "seems your man has an adventure do you say we have a little fun tonight."

Jo laughed, "sorry Babe but I'm not that adventurous."

Lorna raised a perfectly sculptured eyebrow as she leaned closer to Jo, "shame…I could do things with my tongue that would curl your toes."

Jo blushed slightly as she gave a chuckled and shook her head, "I'm sure you could."

"Jo, can I see your phone. I want to show Lee our Ami." Dean said, smirking at the blush tainting her cheeks.

"Sure," Jo said as she reached in and grabbed out her phone and pulled up a photo of Ami and held the phone out so that Lee and Lorna could both see the picture of the infant.

"Holy crap…you're that little cutie's old man," Lee said as Dean's chest puffed out in pride.

Lorna smiled as she looked at the photo, "she's beautiful."

"Thank you," Jo said she clicked her phone off…missing the message notification what was just coming through as she tucked the phone back in her pocket. "So this case we're 's a missing you recognize her?" Jo asked deciding that it was time to get down to business and she passed a copy of the newspaper clipping to Lee.

Lee looked at the paper and shook his head, "mmm, no." He told Jo.

Lorna looked over at the paper, "that's Angela Lee." She told the former hunter before adding, "she's in here all the time."

Lee nodded his head, "wait is that the girl that doesn't drink that much?"

The brunette nodded, "that's the one."

"But her friend?"

"Like a fish," Lorna reminded him.

"Like a fish," Lee repeated before turning to Dean. "What are you doing man?"

"What?" Dean asked in confusion.

Lee rolled his eyes, "You're chasing a missing person. I thought you'd be onto something bigger by the Loss Ness Monster…Bigfoot."

Dean swallowed as he shot a look over a Jo before saying. "Trust me, bigger doesn't always equal better, who's gonna look out after the little guy? God certainly isn't."

Lee frowned at his old friend and murmured, "damn brother, that's dark."

"Yeah it's been a rough…um…it's been a rough decade Lee." He told him as he looked down at his hands.

"Yeah," the other man said.

Dean looked up when Jo scooted her chair closer and placed her hand on his knee and he gave her a reassuring smile as he said, "but that's a conversation for a different time, cause this…this right here…this is alright."

Jo study Dean's face as Lee and him continued to could see the weariness that weighed Dean down. How foolish could she be? Him and Sam have had the weight of the world on their shoulders for too long. Suddenly it was dawning on her, that he was actually ready to retire.

A part of her was angry at this. She was just getting ready after having the past eight years robbed from her and to realize that Dean and she were again at different stages of their lives. The old phrase wrong place, wrong time taunted her yet again.

She was pulled out of her thoughts when she realized Lee had gone back up to the stage and was currently encouraging Dean to join him. "Come on Boy, you can't just sit around lip-syncing 'Eye of the Tiger' while no one's around…get up here."

Jo grinned as she nodded her head enthusiastically as Dean finished his beer and slowly stood up and walked towards the stage as Jo scream out loudly, "WOOHOO!" She laughed when she realized what song the band began playing was.

She cheered along with the rest of the crowd as she watched Dean and Lee singing the theme song to 'The Dukes of Hazard'. She was just getting ready to reach for her phone to tape Dean when she noticed a couple of men harassing a woman and realized it was the woman Sally that they were looking for.

She turned and quickly made her way over towards the other could hear Dean singing behind her as she stopped in front of the Sally and the two men who were obviously making advances that she wasn't in the mood to reciprocate.

"Stop…stop…stop," Sally cried as she pushed one of the men away.

"Don't be like that," the other man said.

"No..no…stop!" Sally insisted.

Jo stood as behind the two men and tapped the larger one on the shoulder, "think the lady told you no."

The drunkard turned and leered at Jo, "well maybe you want to party with us then."

Jo wrinkled her nose at the man's breath, "no I don't think so…what I think you're going to do is take your buddy and skedaddle, oh and you might want to try a breath mint or twenty."

The man narrowed his eyes as he leaned down and got into Jo's face. "You little bitch…" he said as he grabbed Jo's arm.

Jo looked down at the hand on her arm and notices that the band began winding down as Dean and Lee stopped didn't need to look behind her to know Dean was getting ready to intervene.

"Remove your hand," Jo warned him.

The man laugh as he turned and looked at his buddy, "remove your hand," he mimic causing the other man to laugh.

Jo smirked at the as she reached back and quickly slammed the palm of her hand at the base of his nose, making sure she hit him right where the impact would cause the most the man was busy cupping his nose she caught movement off to the side and knew his buddy was getting ready to jump in.

Jo quickly spun around and kicked the other man between his legs and when he dropped his hands to cups his balls she too advantage to disable him completely and raised her foot sideways and booted the man in the kneecap, smirking slightly when she heard the snap and knew she had succeeded in dislocating his knee.

Spinning back around to the first man Jo grabbed his arm and snapped the wrist, causing him to cry out in pain before pulling his arm behind his back and slamming her foot into the back of his kneecap forcing him to propel forward and giving Jo the momentum to shove him through the door of the bar and out onto the ground. The other man quickly held his hands up in surrender as he began to hobble away from the dangerous blonde.

Jo watched as he made his way outside and gingerly helped the other man up and dragged him towards their truck to get the Hell away from the bar as fast as they could. She slowly let out the breath she was holding as she heard the crowd behind her cheering and she couldn't help laughing when she heard Dean shout over the crowd, "that's my woman!"

"Thank you," Sally said as Jo turned to look at her.

"No problem, you okay?"

Sally nodded, "I'm am, are you alright?"

"Fine," Jo reassured her as she watched Dean and Lee hopped down from the stage, heading towards walked up beside Jo and smirked at her.

"I guess you're back in fighting shape." Dean teased,

Lorna hurried over and joined them. "Bunch of jerks, you two alright?"

"We're fine," Jo said before adding. "Aren't we Sally."

Dean looked at Jo and then at the other woman. "Sally…Sally Anderson?

"Yeah…why?" she asked in confusion.

"Sally, why don't we sit 've been waiting to talk to you all night." Jo told.

SPNSPNSPN

The others listened as Sally told them about her friend frowned slightly when Lee pulled Dean aside and tried to get him to drop the case but then suddenly he changed his mind and offered to close up and work the case with them and to help them find the missing car. Lee suggested the lake but Lorna said that she didn't know about the lake...that if she were dumping a car she would go to a wrecking yard called Merle's.

"Look both good suggestions. How about me and Lee take the yard and Jo takes the lake." He said before turning towards Jo. "Why don't you take Baby and we can take Lee's ride." Dean suggested as Jo nodded her head in agreement.

Lorna looked over at Jo, "you're going to have a hard time finding the lake, it's off the beaten track. How about I go with you?"

Jo smiled her appreciation, "Sure."

Dean stood up and pull Jo aside. "You're armed right?"

"Of course," Jo reassured him.

"Okay," he said as he leaned down and kissed Jo. "Watch your ass. Lorna seems like a tough cookie but she's a civilian."

"Come on Dean, you know the car is probable at the wrecking yard. We're just crossing our T(s) and dotting our I(s) by going to the lake. You watch your ass. Lee's been out of the life for a long time."

"See you back here," he told her as he stole another quick kiss before slipping her the keys to Baby. "Don't ride her too hard, she's not use to you."

Jo grinned as she looked at the keys, "Oh I'll be gentle…maybe she'll become my girl."

Dean smirked, "never…she's my Baby."

Jo laughed as she punched Dean's shoulder. "Come on, we're wasting time."

The four walked out together, Dean and Lee climbing into his pickup as Jo and Lorna got into Baby before the two parties took off in opposite directions.

SPNSPNSPN

Jo pulled off where Lorna told her and cut the engine. "You can stay in the car if you like," Jo told the other woman.

"No I don't mind. I'll go with you."

Jo nodded her head as she got out of the car while Lorna got out looked around and pointed towards an overhang off to the side of the lake. "How do you get up there?"

"You just keep going in the same direction we were heading, it's about another three miles to the turnoff but if you don't mind hiking there's a footpath that comes out right where the road turns."

"Can you get a car all the way to the edge?"

Lorna nodded her head, "probable but it's a tight squeeze with the trees and bushes. You'd scratch the shit out of your car if you tried."

"Right," Jo said as she walked around and opened the truck, pulling out two flashlights before joining Lorna and passing her one. "So we walk and check for tire marks because I'm guessing people don't drive up there on a regular basis."

"And if there's no tire marks?" Lorna asked.

"Are there any other turn offs to got to the lake?"

"Nope."

Jo walked down towards the mouth of oversized path towards the lake and shown her light along the ground. "It's been unseasonable cool the past week, don't think there's been a lot of activity around here, just some footprints…no tire tracks in the sand towards the water. Is there anywhere else a car couldn't enter by."

"Just here and the overhang. Kids like to go up there to jump off into the water."

"Right, then that's our best bet. Let's start up there. I think this is a waste of time to be honest with you. I can't imagine anyone would dump a car here but doesn't hurt to check it out anyway." Jo admitted as her and Lorna started towards the path that lead to the overhead.

SPNSPNSPN

Dean and Lee had decided to split up and cover the junk yard faster to check Angela's was just about to heads back towards Lee's truck when a flash of color caught his eye and that's when he realized it was Angela's student parking permit walked over to the car walked around to the trunk, taking a deep breath he popped the trunk and shook his head, "Damn it!" He was getting ready to slam the trunk when he heard a gun cock behind him.

"Couldn't leave well enough alone, could you?" Lee said before he raised the gun and slammed it down on Dean's head, knocking him out.

SPNSPNSPN

"You were right this was a giant waste of time," Jo said almost two hours later as she opened the back door to Baby and grabbed a couple of bottle waters from the cooler, passing one to Lorna before they both climbed into the car.

It had taken way more time than Jo thought it would take but thanks to the rocky terrain they had to pick their way up and down at a snail past if they didn't want to fall and injure themselves.

"Thanks," she said as she caught her breath. "I really don't get why Lee even suggested this place."

"Well people think water is a safe bet to dump a car usually so I get it but this place…not the best location to manage a dump like that."

Lorna shrugged her shoulders as Jo reach into her pocket and pulled out her phone. "I'll call Dean and see if he had any luck."

"Don't bother, dead zone." Lorna told her as Jo clicked her phone and saw she had no bars.

"Right…well we might as well start back," Jo said before looking brunette. "Thanks for coming and showing me around."

"No problem," Lorna told her as her and Jo got into the car and headed back towards the bar.

SPNSPNSPN

Dean couldn't believe he was so sloppy to let Lee get the drop on get the drop on him…fell for his crap hook, line and here he was hooked up being bled to feed a freaking marid by a man he considered for a long time as family…as a brother.

Screw this…he had a daughter who needs him and he's not gonna be some marid's Happy over at the where he could hear the marid growling behind the door he began to rock the chair he was tied to until it tipped over and broke, freeing his over he pulled out the IV just as the marid broke through the door.

SPNSPNSPN

Lee swallowed as he cleaning up the could hear the marid growling downstairs and closed his eyes as he thought about his former friend. He looked up suddenly when he heard the marid howl in pain and thumping on the stairs up to the bar.

He pulled his gun and pointed it towards the door, watching as it opened and suddenly the marid's head was rolling across the floor of the bar before Dean came strolling out.

"Sorry about your friend," Dean said as he looked over at the monster's head on the floor before turning back toward Lee just in time to see his former friend aim his gun towards him and he was able to dive behind the bar covering his head as the bottles behind him shattered. He saw the shotgun behind the bar and grabbed it, relieved to find it loaded.

"Oh God bless Texas," Dean said as he cocked the shotgun fired it blindly over the bar top as Lee dove for cover as both men continued to fire at each other until both guns were spent.

SPNSPNSPN

Jo and Lorna pulled up in front of Swayze's and Jo looked up when she heard the barrage of gunfire as she cut the engine.

"Stay in the car!" Jo ordered Lorna as she reach behind and pulled out the gun tucked in the back of her jeans before she got out of the car.

"Jo; don't go in there! It's too dangerous!" Lorna begged as she reached out and grabbed Jo's arm before she could slip out of the car.

"I'll be fine. Just stay in this car until I come and get you." Jo reassured her.

Jo got out of the car and staying low she made her way over to the chanced a look in the window and was shocked to see Lee shooting towards bar but that the wasn't the shocking part, it was when she realized that was Dean's arm she was seeing holding the shotgun returning fire and groaned as she realized they had been played and hissed, "aw shit."

She quickly checked her clip and froze when she heard the gunfire end took a second to look over at the car and held her hand up towards Lorna in a silent command to stay put as she made her way over to the door, slipping inside with her gun cocked and ready.

She gasped when she saw the decapitated head near the bar and realized it was a marid. One of the first cases she worked with her Mom was a marid. Nasty little bastard that will give you money and health as long as you don't mind feeding them the blood of some poor innocent victim. Her stomach turned that a hunter could do something so evil.

"I'm out and by my count so are you," Dean called out as Lee checked his gun and confirmed he was out.

Jo chewed on her lower lip as she listened to Lee actually try to talk his way out and use Dean's feeling for swallowed when Dean told Lee that when you see the world is broken that you fix…you fight for it. That was her Dean…that was the voice of the man she loved. She stood up so that the men could see she had joined them.

"Well seems I'm the only one with a loaded gun," Jo called out as she pointed it towards Lee as Dean stood up behind the bar.

"Standing down Jo, This is between us." Dean said as he chanced a quick glance at Jo before turning back and glaring at Lee.

"You want a shot at the title?" Lee taunted.

Dean didn't look at Jo but knew she had lowered her gun and he nodded his head as he said to Lee, "yeah, don't mind if I do."

Jo she stepped back slightly and watched as Dean and Lee began a vicious wild fight. She looked over her shoulder and saw that Lorna had gotten out of the car but was still standing next to it. She shook her head slightly when the brunette made a move to start towards Jo. She swallowed as she watch Dean and Lee wail on each other and gasped slightly when Dean stabbed Lee with a broken pool stick and saw the pain etched on Dean's face.

"Oh man, all right. I'll be damned," Lee gasped as he stared into Dean's eyes. "Why do you care so much Dean?" He asked.

"Because somebody has to," Dean told him sadly.

Lee gave him a small smile as he reached up and placed his hand on Dean's chest. "Well then, I'm glad it was you." He said as he could see Dean was getting ready to pull the pool stick out. "Wait…wait," he cried as he patted Dean's chest before saying in a horse whisper. "Yeah…okay…okay."

Dean nodded his head slightly as he pulled the stick out and watched Lee fall to the floor dead. He closed his eyes when he heard Jo make her way over to him. "I'm okay," he told her when she placed her hand on his shoulder.

Both turned when they heard Lorna step into the bar and scream when she saw Lee laying on the ground. "You murdered him!" She cried.

"No, he stopped him...Lee…he killed Angela and God knows how many others." Jo told the other woman as she pointed to the head on the ground by the bar. "That is a monster…it's called a marid and Lee was feeding him innocent victims in exchange for money and health."

Lorna gaped at the head Jo pointed to, "no…no…no," she sobbed as she fell to her knees in shock.

Jo went over to the other woman, "Lorna…listen to have to take care of this now."

"What do you mean?" Lorna asked.

Jo looked up as Dean joined them and nodded his head before heading out to the car. "Lorna, we need leave this place but before we do, we need to destroyed it and it has to be done now."

"He really was guilty of what you're saying?"

Jo nodded her head, "I'm sorry he was…come on, let's get you outside."

Jo helped Lorna stand up and began walking stopped when she saw the basket that Lorna used to collect phones on the floor and was surprised to see Dean's was still in there. She reached down and snagged the phone before he guided the other woman outside.

She brought Lorna over to the car that was parked over by the Impala as Dean carrying two oversized cans of gasoline headed back towards the bar and doused the whole thing, ensuring the damn thing would burn down and anything inside would be destroyed, including their prints.

"Here sit down," Jo instructed her as she sat next to her on the hood of the wrapped an arm around the clearly distraught woman while she caught glimpses of Dean as he doused the building in gasoline before he finally came back outside with a few of bottles of whiskey that hadn't been shattered with a dishrags shoved halfway inside them.

Jo gave him a reassuring smile as he lit up two of the Molotov cocktail and flung them it into the building. She had to turn her head as the building was engulfed in flames. "Come on Lorna, let's get you home."

Dean joined them and looked at Jo in shock when she handed him his phones. "Jesus, I completely forgot about don't you drive Lorna's car and I'll follow you. I just have one thing left to do," he said as he lifted the last homemade bomb before nodded towards Lee's truck.

"Okay," Jo said as she turned and asked Lorna for her keys as Dean helped the other woman into her car while Jo jogged around to the driver side and got in. Lorna told her to pull out and turn right, that it was basically a straight shot ten miles down the road from the bar to her place.

Dean watched the other car head out before he lifted the last bottle and lit the rag sighed as he tossed the bottle into Lee's truck before getting into pulled out to the edge of the parking had barely pulled out into the road before the car exploded behind him.

Sighing he turned and head in the same direction as his eyes off the road just long enough he clicked on his phone and saw the numerous voice mails. He frown as hit play and listened as Castiel voice telling him about Sam.

Jo handed Lorna her phone back before saying to the other woman, "I mean you need anything you can text or call me."

"Thank you," she said as Dean and Jo stood in her kitchen.

"Remember, you left when Lee closed early and came weren't anywhere near the bar and you don't know why anyone would torch the place." Dean reminded her.

"I know…I just can't believe Lee was doing everything you told me."

"Yeah…I know it's hard to believe but he was Lorna." Dean told her before looking at Jo. "We need to go before the sheriff comes to talk to Lorna."

"Okay," she told him before turning towards the other may have only known each other for a few hours but she really did like her and wanted to make sure she was alright before they took off. "Look, why don't you pour yourself a stiff drink and then lay down."

"Make that several stiff drinks and a hot shower," she said with a mirthless chuckle. "I'll be find; you should get going."

"Take care," Jo said as she pulled Lorna in for a hug.

"If you need us, you have Jo's number," Dean said as he hugged Lorna too before reaching down and taking Jo's hand in his. "It's time we go."

Jo gave Lorna one last smile before she followed Dean outside and got into the Impala before they pulled away and started down the road. Dean reached into his coat and pulled out his phone, clicking on the message from Castiel.

Once the message finished Jo looked over at Dean and could see how angry he was at what Sam and Castiel tried to do while they were gone. "Are you okay?"

Dean looked over at Jo, "we get back there. I check to make sure Sammy is really alright and then we go pick up Ami, hit the road and head to Rufus's cabin for some alone family time. I need some time with my girls." He told her.

Jo looked down at her hands, "Dean are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Probable not…but I need to take a breath Jo and I can't do it in the bunker right now." He admitted.

"Then we get Ami and go to Rufus's cabin but I'm telling you we're stopping to pick up some serious cleaning supplies, new sheets for the bed as well as food…oh and some slip covers because I'm not sitting on that old ratty leather couch or those nasty old chairs without something covering them first." She told him.

Dean looked over at Jo and laughed, "fine…whatever you want. Of course by the time we fix that place up to your standards it'll be time to head back to the bunker probable."

"Bitch…bitch," Jo teased as she lean back and closed her eyes. "Wake me up when it's my turn to drive."

"Yes Ma'am," Dean said as he gave her a smile before she closed her eyes and he heard her snoring softly.

Dean focus his eyes on the road ahead of him as he tried not to think about what his brother and friend had got up to while he was gone.
