So recently (like this very day) someone commented on this story, addressing my very long absence from this platform. Here's my explanation and update on this story.
So, obviously, I don't share much about my life on this website, for reasons I'm sure are already known. But I am pretty young, still in schoool, and as a student, I have other obligations in my life that have more priority than this story. As much as I'd love to write all day, it unfortunately isn't possible in my circumstances. I am also a critical perfectionist so it would really kill me to release a chapter that I don't think is as good as it could be. (I still don't like how I began the story, mainly because of there's no pull, but I do like seeing the progression of my writing). I'm also working on other writing projects that I believe will fly higher than fanfiction (fingers crossed) so I've been preoccupied with that.
Still, I totally understand your valid frustrations with my lack of presence and to be completely honest, I didn't believe anyone cared. Not many people really read this story, or at least tell me they read about it, so I thought no one would miss my work. So I am really sorry about leaving unexpectedly and not saying anything about the story. I don't know if anyone has been following my stories or my account for a while, but I usually take really long breaks with my stories and then spam them with chapters. I'm weird like that.
This being said, I still have tons of ideas for EAH: TNL, and will try to be more wary about communicating my breaks, the next time it happens.
I plan on releasing another "filler" chapter, as well as continuing the aftermath of everything that happened during Legacy Day. Sorry about that massive cliffhanger, but I'm a sucker for them ;). They'll also be having an adventure during Thronecoming and much more!
Sadly our world has been in turmoil and coming from America, we have been in pieces for the entire year.
I appreciate the passionate comment I recieved earlier and I'm glad that they reached out to me. Don't think that I'm not going to see or read them, it just that, I don't really use Fanfiction, so I'm not sure if authors can reply or anything. I know, I should probably learn more about this website. Eek!
If any of you have been wondering, I, thankfully, have been safe during quarantine. My family is also safe, which I feel very lucky to say. I've been hiding under a rock, hissing at strangers when they come close, as well as preparing my underground bunker for the inevitable apocalypse. Not really, but that's a lot funnier to say instead of the truth, which is I'm basically a little hermit crab.
Well, this has been a strange chapter, but I hope you feel better about this story, knowing I'm far from done.
Please take care of yourself and your loved ones, your mental and physical health are so very important during this time. 2020 has been certainly difficult for everyone and please respect that.
Once again, I am sorry about the hiatus. It really does help when you review or comment on this story, (it makes me think I'm actually doing something good), so don't hesistate. Actually, some chapters that may be happening will end up depending on your participation!
Anyways, thank you for reading and caring about this story. It does mean a lot to me.
