Few minutes prior to Zero's involvement.
Yuki is closing the distance on kurumi but her sister used wind magic to push yuki away to keep her distance, yuki looked at kurumi with determination as her sister had the look of sadness.
" Yuki you don't have to do this." Kurumi said to her older sister.
" I'm sorry kurumi." Yuki got into her stance with her katana. " But i need to do this." Yuki said trying to close the distance again, swiping left and right as kurumi was backing up and dodging them, Kurumi was confused as yuki was using simple strikes anyone can avoid them but what was the reason that she was attacking like that.
" I don't want to hurt you, Why won't you just come with us."
" Kurumi their is alot things that need to be kept a secret."
" What secret? The fact that you killed most of the kids that grew up with us, including basara." Yuki stopped moving at the mention of that name as the two stood a few inches apart of each other.
" Kurumi." Her younger sister looked at her in the eye and saw tears. " I know its hard but you need understand."
" Understand that the village banished you? Why won't you tell me the truth."
" Kurumi."
Clang!
In the blink of an eye takashi tried to strike yuki but the blue haired hero blocked it with her sword.
" Your wasting your time kurumi." both him and yuki broke the stance as the exchanged blows, spear and katana hitting each other to a stalemate. " their is no reasoning with someone like her."
" Takashi you need to understand."
" Enough talk!" In a fit of rage, He elbowed her in the stomach and swiped his spear side ways sending yuki flying. Yuki looked at her injury as she was bleeding as she held her hand over her wound. " How many more people have to die yuki and for what! What reason do you have protecting that demon." he said as yuki stood up having her hand on her wound and her sword in the other.
" She's important, which is why i have to protect her." What she said made takashi a bit angry.
" rrraaaaaggggH!" He let out a scream as he swung his spear down.
" Wait?" Kurumi said as yuki saw the spear swing down, she tried to bring her sword up but felt too weak to raise it, she assumed that this was her end, or so she thought.
Boom!
Like a flash of lighting, in front of yuki as her eyes widen.
CLANG!
Takashi's spear was stopped as the demon sword brynhilder and its wielder. Zero looked at the boy with anger in his eyes the red glowing violently.
" No!" Zero pushed the spear up and kicked takashi in the chest... The two hero's were now bewildered to this beast, this creature standing in front of them with the demon sword. Mio and maria made it in time to see what happened which did gave mio some relief.
" Wha? What the hell are you." Takashi said as zero stared him down.
" Your opponent."
" Zero."
" Not one word!" Zero turned his head as yuki saw the anger in his eyes almost a sinister look to it as yuki stepped back. Zero then looked back at his opponent. " I'm going to fill the holes in the questions that you have." Takashi's eyes widen as well as kurumi's. " Yuki had nothing to do with your people getting killed.
" How do you know."
" I was there." Zero said to him as this shocked them. " I saw this pillar of light, saw a dead child and yuki right next to the blade, I then took to blade to get it away from it all."
" What gave you the right to steal from hero's."
" It called to me." Zero put takashi even more in shock. " If you want to put blame on people of your village dyeing... Then blame me."
" Zero." Yuki said to him but her kept talking.
" Blame me and not yuki, she only lied to make sure I don't get involved as well as mio." He then looked at the two with threating eyes. " And here I am, raising a sword against a child."
" Y-your calling me a child, I'm from the hero clan."
" Did I stutter!" Zero said loudly as possible. " Call yourself what you are or what you want, your just a child." Zero then stuck the blade in the ground on the side of him.
" I'll show you." In a flash Takashi disappeared as zero stood his ground. " I'll make you eat those words." Zero looked up as takashi slammed down with his spear, glowing bright.
SLAM!
When the dust settled, everyone was in shock as zero held the spear in hand catching the blow.
" W-what?" Zero then brought to spear down as he stared into takashi, staring down into his soul as takashi saw the black in his eyes the bright red eyes of a monster.
" Tell me boy." Zero said as he beared his teeth. " You seem to know how to fight, tell me." Zero said as takashi's courage and anger turned into fear. " Have you ever seen innocents being slaughtered by animals, have you seen entire civilizations burn away from your very own eyes." The way he was talking was scaring everybody including mio and maria.
" Zero." Mio said in worry as he continued to stare down takashi.
" Lastly, have you ever seen entire worlds blown apart by your very.. own... hands." Takashi's spear glowed brightly getting zero's attention.
" Byakko, no!" Takashi said to his spear. Zero stepped back as the light glowed more causing everyone to cover their eyes. The light ended as zero saw a massive tiger in a green aura standing in front of him.
" Interesting, you sensed danger for your wielder." Zero said figuring out takashi's weapon.
" Zero get away, you can't fight byakko." Yuki said warning him. Zero ignored her warning as he looked at the spirit tiger.
" I think you have it backwards yuki."
RRROOOOOOARR! Byakko let out a roar as it slammed his paw down on zero but in a span of 2 seconds.
SLAM!
Nobody saw what happened but when the dust clouded moved, byakko was on its back as zero flipped him over with no effort whatsoever.
" It can't fight me!" Zero said as it grabbed it paw and tossed him to the side, sending him crashing into a building
CRASH!
A little bit hurt, the tiger got up and charged as zero, getting ready to chomp on zero as the alien beast then pushed his hands towards the tigers mouth and stopped him from moving., Byakko used its strength to push zero but he was not budging like his feet were stuck in the ground. Everyone was watching in awe on how this creature was overwhelming a guardian spirit.
" Learn your place!" Zero then headbutted it sending him back to where the overhead bridge, knocking it down. Zero looked at the tiger as it got back up with a feral look to it. " Some spirit." Zero said insulting the tiger.
ROOOAR! Byakko roared as it charged as zero at full speed. Zero stood his ground as the tiger rushed at him. Mio, maria and yuki watched as he did this. Zero's eyes glowed even more.
" I 'am a monster..!" Zero said as byakko kept charging.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh!
Zero let out a larger roar, so loud that everyone covered their eyes, glass shattered all around them, it even made the tiger stopped its charge. Zero then crossed his arms as the skeletal heads on his shoulders glowed yellow as well as his eyes.
" Perish!"
Zero fired sending three beams of yellow light towards the tiger, pushing it all the way to the other building, tearing apart the ground beneath them, evaporating the giant green tiger. After the blast everyone saw the carnage and destruction that zero had done.
" W-woah." Maria said feeling like something like that shouldn't happen. Takashi was shocked as his spear was on the brink of breaking as the tiger spirit returned to him, through the smoke zero pierced at him with his eyes, the eyes that froze anything that looked at them. Once it cleared, zero took a few steps forward making takashi back up. Smoke came out of zero's mouth as her wanted to do more.
" S-stay away from me." Takashi said in fear as zero got closer, and closer, and closer till takashi tripped and feel over, now zero looked over him, anger, rage, destruction went through zero's mind. He wanted to destroy.
" rroooaahhhrr!" Zero roared and snarled going for the kill which was stopped.
His eyes widen as he felt arms wrapped around his waist, those arms belonged to yuki. She was terrified but was brave enough to try and stop zero.
" Stop." Those words echoed into zero's head as her looked at yuki, with tears. " He's had enough." Zero then looked at takashi as the frightened face of the boy brought back memories to zero's conquests, innocent souls crying out to be spared. The black left his eyes and the red glowed died down as zero calmed down. Within the amount of time, the magic barrier was brought down as shiba came to takashi's aid.
The third hero helped takashi up as he looked at zero.
" Well with that settled we'll take our leave." He said getting zero's attention. " This will be something the village will need to know about."
" By all means do so." Yuki looked at zero with worry. " But like I said don't blame yuki for something she didn't do. Tell your elders that I did it."
" You do realize that, you wanting blame for the death of 30 people."
" Doesn't matter, just adds more to my count." Zero said with not problem which got a worried look from the three hero's
" I see. I'll make sure they get it." Like that shiba used magic to teleport, takashi and kurumi out of the city. Leaving zero and them.
" Ugh."
" Yuki." Zero caught her before she hit the ground as she was still hurt. He ended up carrying her to make sure she was alright.
" Zero!" He heard his name as maria and mio came over to him. " I thought you weren't going to interfere." Maria asked him.
" I did but." He looked at yuki resting in his arms. " Things changed. Gigan."
SLAM!
The cyborg landed on the ground making a crater behind them scaring the girls.
" Yes master."
" I need you to get me some medical supplies, maria go with him."
" Huh? Why me?"
" Cause you know where they would be now go."
" Okay, okay come on gigan." Maria took gigan to find some stuff to heal yuki, leaving zero with yuki and mio.
" We better take her home."
" Okay." Mio said as he walked ahead. Mio's heart was racing from what she just saw him do. " Zero!" He stopped walking. " What was that, that i just saw." She asked as he needed a answer for the savage, feral, unholy monster that he was before.
" Something... That you should have never seen." Zero kept walking and soon enough mio followed as they walked back home. Overlooking them on the building was lars. seeing the two walk off.
" hmm? Curious."
" Very." A voice said walking up next to lars which belong to a women of tanned skin, white hair demon ears and wings and white legs.
" What a re you thinking lady zest." Lars asked her.
" This creature needs to be watched closely." She said as she watched them walk away. " Very closely."
" Of course my lady." Lars said willing to be ordered for her.
Few hours later.
Yuki opened her eyes to see a ceiling.
" Huh?" She sat up and looked around to be in a bedroom. " How did I?" She looked at the clothes she was wearing which was very big grey shirt. It appeared to be night time as yuki walked out of the room and walked down the stairs.
" What happened to me today gigan." Yuki stopped as she heard zero, she peeked the corner to see zero sitting in a chair as gigan was consulting him.
" If i were to guess I might have been in episode from your days as a destroyer."
" I just can't believe that, that part of me is still there."
" Correct me if I'm wrong master but i don't see the major issue here." Zero sighed as gigan's remark.
" They saw what I'm really like gigan, mio, maria and yuki. They saw me for what I really am."
" And... Thats bad?"
" Gigan please try to understand. I want a new life, something that taken from me and I have a chance to have it again but now this darkness inside me is preventing me from doing so." Zero said venting his frustration. " I don't want them to see me like that again."
" Understand master." Gigan said heeding his master.
" Okay, go and rest for the day."
" Yes master." Gigan said as he went downstairs into the basement this time to rest leaving zero to his problem.
" *SIGH* I'm just so worthless."
" Zero?" He turned around to see yuki.
" I can see your awake, how are you feeling." He asked her.
" Fine, still a little sore."
" Good, good." Zero said but then came to a thought. " How much of that did you hear."
" Most of it."
" Then what did you think of what you saw today." He asked yuki wanting an answer from the blue haired girl.
" I was scared."
" I knew it."
" But happy." He then turned and looked at her to see her smile.
" What about what you saw today made you... happy?"
" It was the reason, You knew what would happened if you interfered but you still went in and fought."
" Yuki.. You know what I'm, what I used to be."
" I know." She then came up to him. " But I know how kind you are." Like that she kissed his cheek which widened his eyes. " Goodnight." She said as she went back upstairs to sleep leaving zero.
for zero he was just… processing what just happened, his eyeballs were spinning as he... fell over.
*Thud*
" Wha? What just happened." Zero asked himself as another mystery was set on his mind and that mystery… is women.
A few lightyears away from earth.
In the deep void of space, stars shined bright until one shined brighter and brighter until this oval like shape was crashing through the void hurdling its way towards its destination.. It had earth in its sights as it made its way down to the surface, crashing into the pacific and what better part of the pacific outside of japan.
