Chapter 11: Realisation
I do not own Winx Club, the show belongs to Iginio Straffi
"Owww… my head fucking hurts," Aisha mumbled as she rubbed her temple
"Same, I'm going to guess things… didn't go as expected?" Bloom replied.
"Yeah… and now I'm actually scared of myself: especially with what I can do if I don't keep myself in check." The dark skinned girl admitted.
"If you don't mind, but what happened with your general?" Tecna asked as she woke up.
"About that, I- I found out that I'm my general's reincarnation."
"No way. The same thing happened to me!" Bloom exclaimed
"Same here. How about the rest of you guys?"
"Yeah, and I hate it. I fucking hate my general and now I have to deal with the fact that I am him." Stella ranted, albeit she wasn't even facing the group and was just blindly talking to thin air.
"Um Stella, we are over here." Bloom called out to her best friend
"Where?"
"..." Musa, who had been listening to the conversation got up and shouted at Stella… except no words came out of her mouth
"..." She tried again but to no avail - it was as if she was mute.
'The fuck?' This time round they heard Musa's voice, but her mouth didn't move.
'Just perfect, I fucking hate her now.'
"Who?" This time round, it was Tecna who replied.
'Who do you think it is? Obviously my general!' She snapped in return.
"Anyway," Bloom started, "Stella, are you able to see us?"
"Kind of? I can barely make out the shape of anything,"
"What if you went further into the shade? I mean you are currently partially in the shade and since your general's power is darkness, maybe you have some sort of reverse-vision?" Tecna suggested. Surprisingly, the blonde was able to quickly locate the shade and walked towards it before facing the other 4 girls.
"Soooooo, for you anything dark is light and vice versa,"
"Great, just when I thought having to share a fucking body with that jerk was bad enough,"
'How about the rest of you? Are you guys having any issues with your powers?' Musa queried
"Well, I know my phone didn't work when I was in her realm so possibly…" Tecna took out her phone to check before continuing "yeah it's the same now, I don't think any of our devices will work when I'm nearby,"
"So either we are permanently stuck with these 'features' or we find some way, probably by asking the generals, on how to turn them off," Aisha said, leaning against a nearby tree, not ready to face "herself" again.
'Well, we'll help with your powers, don't worry about that. Just please get the two idiots down from where they are, then we'll explain.' Siren answered.
"And you all forgot to mention that you could take over our bodies?" Stella asked, obviously irritated.
"Yeah, we are basically one person now so you will just have to deal with it," Magnus snapped.
"Who are the 'two idiots' you were talking about just now Siren?"
'Look up' was the reply. Upon doing so, the five noticed Flora in midair, as far as possibly from any surrounding nature.
"I'm guessing she has it the worst," Bloom commented
"Can't blame her. Life and death are basically each other's worse nightmare," Petra shrugged
"And yet they were obviously getting along when I checked up on them," Shade grunted. "Idiotic, hopeless dumbfucks"
"They aren't going to come down for a while aren't they?" Tecna sighed.
'I got this,' Siren told the group as she let her wings grow before flying upwards towards Flora. The sudden movement caused the latter to freak out and try to fly backwards; only to get punched in the head and sent flying downwards.
"Jeez, you could have killed 'em you know?" Petra retorted as Siren reached the ground, Flora's body in her arms.
'I know what I'm doing for crying out loud, both of them are pretty weak in terms of physical strength,' Siren calmly replied the stone general.
"That's kinda true…" Stella trailed off before being cut off by Shade taking over her body, "Yeah when I saw both of them they were just casually standing there talking,"
"Jeez, how did he even get in control?"
'His scythe I bet,
"Since we got Flora and Reaper back, could you guys explain how to control our powers?"
"Heh, that's easy. We'll take care of that part since, you know, those are technically our powers," Petra smirked.
"Hey, at least yours doesn't end up almost killing your alter ego and requires constant focus to make sure it doesn't go out of control," surprisingly enough, it was Reaper who replied the general; albeit he looked weird in Flora's body, seeing the girl's usually bright eyes turn dull and almost emotionless.
'Jeez, so now you tell us that we don't need to worry about our demon powers? Wow, that's really nice to know. What next? How we're going to deal with sharing a body with you guys?' Musa deadpanned.
"Yeah," Shade said as he appeared from Stella's body.
"Are you fucking with me right now? Jeez, no wonder everyone calls you a complete jerk" the aforementioned girl rolled her eyes at her counterpart.
"Jeez, I didn't even think it'd work. I thought it'd be funny if I could suddenly be split from you," the demon said as he casually leaned against the nearby tree
"Ok, so even if we can separate from you guys, we can't just casually go around in our demon forms; we'd be immediately noticed," Petra pointed out.
"And you guys didn't mention that we wouldn't need to worry about our demon powers once you left our bodies," Musa rolled her eyes.
"Already said, we didn't even know we could do this. Look, in our time, they didn't know shit about the whole reincarnation bullcrap, and neither did your ancestors so shut the fuck up." Magnus snapped.
"C-could we go back to the issue of you guys needing a disguise?" Flora interrupted, stopping the fight between the two.
"Well, I could try a disguise spell that would make them human? That would work right?" Bloom suggested
Torne shrugged at the suggestion, "I mean, aside from our demon features, most of us excluding Blaze and Shade look human so I guess it's fine."
"Here goes nothing," a light surrounded the six generals and as it faded, stood the six generals as humans.
"I guess this will do for now," Magnus looked at his new body; his black hair slowly faded to a dark orange with one bright orange streak. He had an unbuttoned black shirt, revealing an orange one underneath it, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows and showing his spiked bracelets and fingerless gloves on both hands. He was also wearing black jeans that went just below his knees, a pair of black boots with orange markings to finish it off.
"Tch" Shade grunted, slightly tanned skin, messy black hair and a pair of piercing red eyes. He leaned against the same tree Stella sat under, arms crossed, letting the wind blow his black jacket, a red shirt underneath; he had a pair of deconstruction jeans along with a pair of knee-high black boots.
"This almost looks like my original outfit…" Reaper trailed off as he pulled on his grey hoodie, covering the top half of his head. Although it was hard to see, he had light grey eyes, black hair that was slightly faded at the tips and pale skin that greatly contrasted the rest of his darker outfit. Finishing it off was jeans that were rolled up at the end and a pair of dark grey boots.
"Not surprised," Siren mumbled, black hair that faded into purple was tied up in a ponytail and swayed gently in the wind. Her shirt was split into two segments, the upper was purple in colour while the lower was white, both segments separated by a dark purple line; her purple sleeves were also rolled up to her elbows. A red jacket with grey lines streaking across was tied on her waist, covering her shorts, finally she had black sneakers, each with a purple base similar to the colour of her shirt.
"..." Torne remained silent, her grey hair was braided and her fringe was messy with numerous yellow highlights. She wore a black jacket that stopped at her waist, sleeves also rolled up, leaving only the gold part exposed right above her elbow. Besides that, she had knee-length jeans and brown boots, along with a light brown belt to finish it off.
"Well, I guess we're set," Petra finished, she had tanned skin, dark brown eyes and dark brown hair with one streak of grey. She had a black shirt with a red symbol on it, on top was a dark brown jacket with a grey zipper; Finally, she had black jeans, both sides had a small rip at the knees and two light brown boots.
"Let's head back, who knows how much time has passed since we challenged each other," Tecna said, pointing to the sun above them.
I suck at describing outfits. Designing? Easy. But trying to describe them is hell. Anyway, just a random filler chapter for the month and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance! School will be starting for me so possibly even longer intervals between chapters.
