"You may start your descent at any time now, at your convenience of course." An elf announced through a speaker system in the blimp's control bay. Pairs of elves grabbed closed parts keeping the air in and pulled them open, letting air out as the blimp slowly started descending.
"It's still five 'till! I think we're gonna make it!" Said Honeymarren.
"Of course we will, it's been five 'till for the last hour! We got plenty of time! We got nothing but time! If anything, we got time to kill!" Said Ryder.
"You know what? I don't think we're gonna make it!" Said Elsa as the blimp descended to the point where the massive sack was hanging behind the star on the Christmas tree.
Far down below, The Conductor noticed.
"I may be just an old railroader, and know nothing about lighter-than-air craft, but from my layman's perspective, you need more altitude!" He shouted.
"MORE ALTITUDE!" All the elves shouted at the same time.
"Altitude, please. A bit more altitude, please." The elf announcer said.
"GERONIMO!"A dozen elves yelled at the same time as they jumped off of the blimp.
It suddenly went up about 40 feet as the elves linked together, forming a snowflake-like shape. They then separated and deployed white parachutes one at a time. The other elves cheered as they sailed towards the ground.
"The flying elves! They are specialists. Do not try that at home, kids. Do not try that at home." The Conductor said.
"They didn't regain enough altitude! We're not gonna make it!" Said Elsa.
"What do you mean?" Asked Kristoff.
He and the others looked down and figured out why: The bottom of the bag touched the top of the star. As it moved forward, the star leaned until it fell off the tree, losing its bright glow as it got unplugged and started falling towards the ground. A horn blared at the top of the blimp, and three elves attached to bungee cords jumped off and started falling after the star. As it got closer and closer to the ground, the three elves grabbed it as others in its immediate surrounding area ran away, managing to pull it up right as it touched one elf's nose. The many spectators cheered as it was put back on top of the tree.
"A well-oiled machine!" Said The Conductor.
The massive bag of presents was then dropped onto the back of the sleigh. As the blimp flew away, two elves looked into the sack, finding Elsa, Honeymarren, Kristoff and Ryder.
"All right, you stowaways. Party's over!" One of the elves said in a rough, lower-than-expected voice.
"I was just following them!" Said Ryder.
"If you were following us, how did you get into the bag before we did?" Asked Honeymarren.
"I went down a different tunnel in that room where the caboose ended up. It brought me to this room full of wrapping paper. I followed this belt in the center, went down a really fun slide, and the next thing I know, I'm surrounded by presents, only one of which with my name on it!"
"We fell in here by mistake! We definitely did not plan on ending up here!" Said Elsa.
"Ah, forget about it. We knew you was in there the whole time!" Said the other elf, whose voice was a lot higher.
"If that's the case, why didn't you send an elf squad to come get us sooner?" Asked Kristoff.
"There's a time and place for everything, kid! Now come on, out you go!"
"Let's go, come on. Step up, step up! There we go."
"Thanks for finding us." Said Elsa.
"Yeah, I was not a fan of the idea of being stuck here until Santa reaches my house." Said Honeymarren.
"Not a problem. Come on, watch your step, there you go." Said the first elf.
The Conductor checked his pocket watch. The arrow was in a white area labeled "On Time", leaning more towards the green "Early" area than the red "Late" area. A clock in the center of a tower was frozen at 11:55 P.M. Elsa, Honeymarren, Kristoff and Ryder were now on the sack instead of being still in it.
"So that nobody gets hurt, here's how we're gonna get you guys down."
"Ah, this is simple!" Ryder rudely interrupted. "Why, I know-"
"What do you know? You're not supposed to be here in the first place!"
"Excuse me! I was one of the passengers professionally handpicked by, whoever chooses the passengers!"
"I see. Now since it's Christmas, I'm gonna let you slide!"
Two other elves kicked Ryder's legs out.
"Hey! Ow!" He yelled as he slid down the bag, landing on his feet on the ground below.
"I've been looking for you." Said The Conductor.
Honeymarren stepped closer to the edge of the bag before she slid down on her own accord, also landing on her feet.
"Nice to see you again."
Elsa followed in Honeymarren's footsteps, sliding down the bag and landing on her feet down below.
"Cutting it kind of close, aren't we?"
"Maybe just a little."
The Conductor and Elsa both chuckled at her remark.
Now it was Kristoff's turn to slide down and return to the others. The elves noticed that he was still holding his present.
"I'll take care of this." The elf with the rough voice said.
"I'd rather hold onto it myself."
"It's in good hands. Truuuuuuuuuuust me."
Kristoff sighed as he handed his present to the elf.
"It will end up at my house, right?"
The elf nodded. Satisfied with the reassurance, Kristoff jumped off the edge of the bag and slid down. The elf threw his present back into the bag as a rope was thrown around the top of it. He and the other three elves pulled it tight.
