Caesar's Pearl 3 Chapter 11
Margo is forcefully dragged further into the room before being planted firmly in front of the Colonel. The whole time this is happening both Margo and Caesar are putting a lot of effort into schooling their features in not giving anything away.
Caesar most of all as he fought and lost to keep his gaze downcast.
This is precisely the very last place he has ever wanted his little sister to be trapped in once it fully registers that she's actually there and not a hallucination. Don't get Caesar wrong. He's well aware from experience that Margo is far from being a damsel in distress. She's quite capable of taking care of herself for certain. It show's in how she almost accomplished her goal. Still as her big brother it's his responsibility to keep her safe and by all appearances that's another thing he's completely failed at. One of his biggest and deepest regrets. Nonetheless it makes him extremely upset that he can't do anything about it otherwise plenty of others will undoubtedly be hurt for his reckless actions taken.
Still this feeling resembles that of someone getting stabbed in the heart to his eyes.
This doesn't stop his posture stiffening and fur from bristling in both in defiance and protectiveness for Margo.
The overbearing and underlying tension already present in the room is about to flareup.
Motioning towards Margo's restrained form with his crossbow, Preacher asked "Where'd you find this one?"
Dryly, The Lieutenant said "We caught her snooping around the pens. One of the Donkeys spotted and recognized her after she was interacting with those ape spawns. She was wearing a tattoo of our insignia made of mud that one of them messed up. So the Donkeys relayed the information to us and we caught her just as she was about to slip through the wall. This little bitch was spying on us."
Margo keeps a brave face doing her utmost best to remain placid despite animosity levels being at an all time high.
Hearing her called a disgraceful name relatively makes Caesar's eyes blaze in barely contained outrage at the Colonel assessing her.
Staring at Margo with indifference that is proven false from the mocking vindication in his eyes, leering, the Colonel said "Is that so?"
Margo still refuses to take the bait, not saying a single word in answer to their provocations.
The Colonel takes no insult to this dismissive and indifferent behavior from her. Instead he steps closer in proximity to her personal space until their almost nose to nose. Yet Margo refuses to be intimidated by this and remains unflinching although her eyes harden even further and transform even more icily through her vacant expression.
Narrowing his hawk-like eyes on her facial features, the Colonel said "I know those eyes. It may have occurred under cover of darkness and a shadowed atmosphere in those caverns, but I recognized you immediately. You're the woman that lived in the caves with those dratted apes."
Rolling her eyes, Margo admits "I won't deny it."
"Ah so she finally speaks," said the Colonel, sarcastically.
"Not my first choice," said Margo, inwardly kicking herself at the slip up since she originally had no intentions to actually talk at all.
Brow raised in barely concealed mirth, the Colonel said "That we can all see. Now we know for a fact that you're with the apes, but what we don't know is your name and if you're with reinforcements outside these walls. Tell us. Are there others out there and how many?"
Scoffing, Margo said "As if I'd tell any of pigs that if there were."
Undeterred, the Colonel said "And your name?"
Seeing no way out of this one question Margo braces herself for the outcome that is bound to happen the very moment she speaks the truth.
Refusing to be ashamed of her last name, raising her chin proudly in defiance, Margo said "Margo Rodman and I am Caesar's sister."
Almost immediately there is an instant reaction amongst the Alpha Omega's as they recognize the last name in the room along with Caesar slowly shutting his eyes in dread.
Rodman belongs to the scientist Will Rodman that was behind the Simian Flu in the virus that has destroyed humanity in the first place. And here now is a direct blood descendant of his whom is claiming to have been raised alongside Caesar as children.
This will not end well for Margo.
There's a tense silence following.
Finally the Colonel comes to a decision.
"Put her in the cages with the apes. If she wants to stand with them then she'll be treated like them. But know this Margo Rodman, the very second that wall is finished, for the crimes of mass genocide your father has committed you will be publicly executed," promised the Colonel, malisciously.

At last! At long last! The 100th story is finally created! Ah! I'm so happy and proud with myself. Right now during this epidemic with the coronavirus that's impacting every nation in the entire world we really do need find whatever sources we possibly can in order to lighten our spirits. Especially those who are unfortunately stuck sick or those locked in self isolation in order to prevent both contraction and spread of the illness. For those of us who have the abilities to do this we have a duty to keep up morale and that's exactly what I wholeheartedly desire these new stories and updates concocted during this time do for you.

As many of you are already aware I was a patron at New York Comic Con 2019. It really is so exciting there and was an opportunity of a lifetime so there's no way in hell that I was going to waste a single second of it. No one ever should with something like this. Ever! ;D Unfortunately New York Comic Con 2020 was canceled because of the coronavirus so no one really got to enjoy any of the potential festivities this year in the chaos.
For future preferences I highly recommend that you all keep an eye out for when tickets for New York Comic Con are available for purchase again for next year. This is a huge event and you should jump on it whenever you have the chance. Unfortunately this year it appears like Comic Con might be skipped not just in New York, but also in all it's regular places during the course of scheduled events. I think we all know the reason for it is plain as day.
The coronavirus.
Can't exactly blame with how dreadful things are getting in escalation and the fact that places like the Javits Center in New York have been temporarily converted into makeshift hospitals in order to deal with the overflow of people contracting infections from this rapidly spreading virus that might as well be called a plague at this point. Let's keep fingers crossed that an aim is to have this pass us before then so things can get back on track. If it is then New York Comic Con might be exactly what people need in order to lighten their spirits after all this darkness. Stay safe everyone and long to eventually see you there.
