Kazuma POV

I shut down my PC after a RAID event in a certain MMORPG last night.

This is my daily life as a NEET, well, not really a NEET though as sometimes I earn some money from selling my account or just specific items to another player.

Streaming my gameplay? I wonder of that, on one side it's a good chance to earn more but if they found out that I just a NEET. My reputation will just go to drain.

Ah… NEET life isn't easy as everyone thinking. I lied on my bed and closed my eyes, tried to sleep but keep waking up.

"As I thought, I already used to not sleeping at this hour."

It was 6 AM and I didn't sleep one bit last night. Better ate my own breakfast.

I went to dinner room and found my family still eating their breakfast.

"It's rare to see a NEET came out at this hour, aniki."

"Just shut up Kazuto, I just want to eat breakfast."

"So this NEET is finally out of his shell huh?"

"Don't be like that, darling… do you want going to school today, Kazuma?"

"Not today mom, I stay awake last night and need to sleep."

"Oh, okay… I just hope you didn't doing it constantly, it's bad for health."

Despite my family member disappointed in me being a NEET, they still care enough to my health... after certain incident that is. I didn't remember when the last time I spoke to them, but I figured out it was after that heart breaking thing.

"Don't worry mom, it's just I doing a RAID last night."

All my family smile wryly…. I know, I know what you're thinking… I ate my breakfast slowly and when done, I went back to my room.

"Have a nice dream, Kazuma."

The atmosphere is pleasant despite the awkwardness between us.

I heard my family left the home, leaving me alone that tried to sleep.

"Just don't start up the PC yet Kazuma, it's already running for about 3 days without rest."

The temptation to play a game is almost unbeatable for me, if not for the warm blanket that made me want to sleep.

"Well, it looked like I'm in a lucid dream."

I knew well that I felt a slept but dang, this falling feeling is too real before getting the feeling that I face planted on the ground.

"Lucid dream heh, let my imagination run amok then."

"Well, Lucid dream is nice and all… but you sure want to do it?"

A Rieri copy and told me that.

"…Is this NTR shit going on in my head?"

"Huft, guess so… this may would lead you to another break down. Let's forget your past and start new life instead."

"Why being so dramatic despite it's just a fabric of my… dream…"

Now it was Megumin copy replace Rieri copy.

"Well, it's true that I'm just a fabric of your dream… but it's what you wanted."

"Just… what I wanted?"

"Kazuma, do you desire a romance partner so much?"

"I don't know."

"Yes, you do. You accept Rieri proposal without giving pros and cons also breaking down after her… betrayal."

"What this had to do anything with Megumin… fabric of my own self."

Megumin copy leaning close to me and in whisper she said something

"Just remember that Megumin is always in your side, no matter what."

I suddenly remember what Megumin said after so long separated, she accepted me no matter of who am I becoming.

"I'm a bad Onii-chan."

"We aren't playing that anymore."

"Guess so, say… do you mind giving me a lap pillow?"

Megumin copy just face palmed.

"You're still asking despite me being your own fragment of lucid dream? But alright, I will do it."

I put myself into Megumin lap and went to sleep somehow… I got dream inside a dream, felt like matrix.

It was a nice sleep.

I wake up pass lunch time, my stomach rumbling so I went to kitchen and grab a ramen cup.

Yeah, it was not a healthy food if eaten too much but I just want to eat ramen. So I preparing and served my ramen cup after done.

"Itadakimasu."

Hmm, yeah… want a real served ramen and not a cup right now.

I heard a knocking from the door.

"Coming."

Usually I just ignore a knocking as usually it was just a seller, but somehow I felt this isn't a seller.

I opened the door and found out it was Megumin who knocking the door house.

She smiled at me.
"Took you long enough to open the door Kazuma."

"I just had a lunch Megumin, also I just woken up some minutes ago."

"No wonder you didn't open the door one hour earlier."
"Quite some free time you had there waiting for me opening the door for a past hour…"

I smiled wryly knowing Megumin waiting me open the door for a fricking hour.

"By the way, can I have some lunch too? My lunchbox at school isn't enough for me."

"Oh… wow, you really never change Megumin."

"I changed, but more in personality than in my stomach does."

I laughed a little.

"You just roasted yourself, Megumin."

"Wow, very meta… how funny, can I have a lunch right now please?"

"Wait a second, let me made another ramen cup for you."

I let Megumin entering the house and she was sitting on place where I ate my cup ramen before, my ramen was still in there.

Another ramen was ready for Megumin to eat some minutes later.

"Here's your share, Megumin."

"Thanks Kazuma, itadakimasu."

I continued eating my ramen. With Megumin on my side, it felt nostalgic.

"Very nostalgic isn't it."

"Dho yho mhean-"

"Don't talk when your mouth is full, Megumin."

"Do you mean the times when Kazuma used for feeding me all the time?"

"There's no denying at this point, everything is in the past."

"Yeah, in the past."

Honestly, I don't know how to treat Megumin right now. So I just treat her like little sister again, but it need to change soon. Lucid dream, what did you really want to tell me exactly? my own self?

Really, this month is semester exam… and I'm semester 5 at that. Wow, I just realize that I'm already two years and a half in college. So I maybe would only just update this story for time being. See you next time.
