This is the Eleventh and final chapter to the story Maggie Pan which picks up on the month after Moira's and Maggie's return to San Francisco and the normal world and new surprises will be in store for Maggie when she finds a familiar face.
Disclaimer; I don't own the characters of Hook or the movie itself, it belongs to Tristar Pictures but the story itself and Commodore Corven belong to me. So enjoy the final chapter.
Chapter Eleven.
April 23th 1995 at the Banning house.
It was a long month after returning from Neverland, Maggie resumed her once-normal life, going to school during the week and seeing some of her Middle school friends.
As she met with them, she almost felt glad to be in the company of girlfriends as well as boys.
They couldn't replace the Lost boys who held a place in her heart, but still, she enjoyed their company. Although she enjoyed the days at school, Maggie couldn't help but miss her times in Neverland. She knew she couldn't tell anyone about her adventures in Neverland.
Having promised her mother and father that the adventures will be a family secret and should be considered a gift, Maggie told most of her friends that she had to visit a sick relative abroad and couldn't go to school last month. So she didn't see the harm of writing a story of another girl who went to Neverland and thus became the new Pan of the Lost Boys.
So during the month that followed after March, Maggie wrote down her adventures in her papers what turned to be a story for school. Once she finished the story to her teacher, Her teacher Mrs Sullivan read it, which turned out to be an intriguing story.
Well detailed so she marked it as a creative success the next day in class. As she accepted her high mark for good work, Maggie started to feel a little sad that she couldn't see Andrew again. Although it was a short and sweet romance it felt like a lifetime's worth to Maggie. Even Moira noticed the sadness in her eyes, so she had a little talk on a Sunday evening.
As Maggie was just finishing some of her homework for school, she heard a knock on the door.
She turned her head to the door and spoke. "Come in."
When the door opened up, Maggie thought that it was her mom but it was her dad who came into the room. "Hey honey, I just wanted to come in to check on you."
"Check on me, well I'm fine dad thanks why did you need to check on me?" asked Maggie.
"Well your mom said that you were looking a little sad since you returned, you want to tell me about it? Or I could guess that you're just feeling depressed about not being able to go somewhere like Neverland." Peter said as he walked over to her desk and sat at the chair.
Breathing a sigh, Maggie sad herself up and she spoke.
"Actually I have been thinking of Neverland, but mostly of Andrew Corven."
"Oh, the Commodore's son who you spent a lot of time and played games with. You know I still remember that story you wrote in class, it was great. Although you may miss him, there will always be other boys in the whole world who might be special to you." Peter said to Maggie.
"Was it like that before you met mom? Did you pursue other women before you fell in love with her dad?" Maggie asked.
"Sadly no, there were no other girls because I spent my years visiting Granny Wendy.
Apart from studying to become a Lawyer, I shared no feelings for any other woman.
Although there were loads of girls at law school, they all weren't your mother or granny Wendy which was a little sad because I had plenty of adventures in Neverland." Peter explained.
"So I guess we're both on the same boat dad because I fell in love with one boy who was the same age as me even though he lived for three hundred years," Maggie said.
Peter nodded as he thought on it and he spoke.
"I guess he had a much longer adventure before Peter Pan came to be, its a shame that he didn't become the Pan although he was a lost boy. but at least he got to meet the daughter of Pan himself."
Maggie drew a small grin at the thought as did Peter who then breathed a sigh and spoke.
"So what would you say that you and I have a father and daughter day out together on Friday night, I could take you to see a movie, any movie you want."
Thinking about the proposal, Maggie looked at her father before she approached him.
Sitting next to him she spoke. "Maybe a father and daughter day out sounds good to me dad, thank you." Peter drew a grin before he wrapped her arm around her and replied.
"You're welcome, Maggie."
Afterwards, Peter left Maggie with her thoughts in her room, closing the door behind him.
Maggie drew a small grin as she figured things might go back to normal but on the next school day they were about to change.
The following day Monday, April 24th at San Francisco school.
In the morning at the start of school, the first subject of the day was English class.
As the class students were taking their seats and waiting for their new English teacher to appear, the school's Principal Mr Hoffman entered the classroom and called for silence in the classroom.
When the class fell into the silent mode it, Mr Hoffman began to speak addressing the class.
"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, good morning all. I would like to have your attention, please. Now before you all start this class period I would like to speak to you about a new transfer student who has recently moved all the way from London England. He is a Navy Brat and a son of a respected Navy officer from the British Navy who has transferred to the states."
Some of the kids laughed amongst themselves before Mr Hoffman spoke on.
"So class, let us say hello to Mr Andrew Corven," said Mr Hoffman.
Hearing that name said aloud, Maggie raised her eyes as she looked to the doorway to see the door open and the boy came in through the doorway. The boy himself resembled Commodore Charles' son Andrew Corven from Neverland, but only he was tidy and in modern clothing.
Walking up to the desk next to Maggie's desk on the right, the boy took his books out placing his backpack down before he took his seat.
When Maggie turned her head to see her looking at the boy, she noticed the same grin that Andrew Corven had as she remembered him and then seeing his eyes Maggie realized that he really is the same boy she fell in love with. Looking at him, she curiously spoke.
"Andrew Corven?" Andrew chuckled at her question, "Andre." he answered before he winked at her which left her gawking in surprise when she spoke. "But how did you get here?"
"I'll tell you after class," Andre responded before he pointed to the door.
Turning her head to the door, Maggie saw another surprise; it wasn't the same teacher Mr Davidson but it was a younger woman dressed in a modern woman's green blouse and wearing a light grey jacket as she came into the classroom, approaching Mr Hoffman she spoke. "Mr Hoffman my name is Mrs Stark, I'm the new English teacher."
"Mrs Stark. A pleasure to meet with you officially, I'm glad that you came here at a good time. I was just about to give an introduction to the class but now that you're here I shall let you introduce yourself to the class." Mr Hoffman stated before leaving Mrs Stark to her work.
Turning to the board she went up and started writing her name as she spoke.
"Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Mrs Emmaline Stark, I shall be teaching English class for the whole semester. Now let's start talking about the latest subject of books."
As soon as the new teacher starred her lectures, her personality gave a few hints of that of Lieutenant William Austen as Maggie remembered and she realized that Emmaline was actually his sister who was now in this world and working as an English school teacher in her school.
It was at around lunchtime of the day after their mathematics class, Maggie and Andrew had finally got together to talk
When Maggie took Andrew to the hall where they would be alone Maggie took the chance to embrace Andrew who wrapped his arms around her.
The two were happy to be back together after a long month apart from each other.
When they withdrew, Maggie asked how he was here. Andrew then told her that his father Charles brought him and Caitlin along with Tiny Tim to San Francisco.
Andrew further explained to her that a week after Maggie and Moira left Neverland, a lot of things around the British Navy changed for the better.
Lieutenant Corven was promoted to the rank of Captain whilst William took Charles' commanding the Royal Amber Fox taking the new rank of Commodore Austen after Charles had announced his retirement from the British Royal Navy so that he can leave Neverland to go to the normal world with his family where they would start a new life. When Corven offered to take any other person to the normal world, the lost Boy Too Small also known as Tiny Tim accepted the offer as did Theodore Starkey and Emmaline who wished to get married.
The alliance between the Lost Boys and the British Navy was sealed in a treaty which ushered in an era of friendship and cooperation between the two great people. Thud Butt continued his leadership as well as played a few games with some of the off duty soldiers and the other Lost Boys.
The world of Neverland was now at peace with Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust.
Learning about the good news of the outcome in Neverland from Andrew, Maggie became so glad that the lives of their friends were going along so magically.
So the two decided to go and have lunch together, walking side by side the two held hands together but they had to part ways to act natural much to the surprise of some of Maggie's friends who asked her about the boy she was with.
Friday. A few days later.
After that event on Monday, things started to turn out better with a few surprises.
When Maggie's brother Jack learned about Andrew Corven at school, he began teasing her about her crush on the boy. So when Jack met Andrew and Maggie whilst they were walking in the hallway he asked about the fancy pretty girl that he's been making google eyes on which brought redness in his cheeks so he decided to take a step back and leave them be.
It was on that Friday after school was over, Maggie's mom and dad Peter picked up the kids in his car and the whole family went to the shopping mall.
The drive across the roads lasted for almost forty-five minutes before they arrived at the mall and then Peter parked his car in the car park.
Once Peter parked the car on a spot near the shopping mall, the Banning family got out of the car and then went into the main entrance of the shopping mall. They walked across the busy mall floors which were less busy with some people doing some last-minute shopping before going home.
The family were making their way to a restaurant in the shops when Maggie saw the Corven family.
Charles' hair was cut short and he was wearing modern clothes which was a greenish t-shirt and black trousers with army boots, wearing a dark blue jacket whilst his wife Caitlin was wearing a yellow blouse over an orange dress and she was wearing short heels.
Andrew was wearing normal clothes as well and Tiny Tim was walking with them.
They were waiting about outside the restaurant to be shown to a table for an evening meal when Andrew saw Maggie with her family, seeing a chance to introduce his family to her family Andrew turned to his father before he told him to look who was there.
Pointing to the Banning family, Charles wasn't sure at first who she was but then as soon as he recognized Maggie Banning and Moira who turned her head to see him.
Calling for Peter who turned his head to her, Moira showed him the Corven family who all looked at the Bannings. Charles and Caitlin soon recognized Moira and Maggie in their normal modern clothes except Peter and Jack so the two families decided to go up and introduce themselves.
When the two families stopped at a short distance, Tiny Tim parted from Caitlin and ran up to Maggie. She and Tim shared a hug before they withdrew.
Tiny Tim and Maggie shared a few words of ecstatic relief to see each other again, mentioning that Andrew told the family about how he met and recognized Maggie.
Whilst Maggie and Tiny Tim were getting reacquainted, Charles Corven was the one to speak to Peter as the two families stood apart, he asked him. "Peter Pan?"
On hearing the name of his former identity, Peter chuckled and replied.
"Hello, Commodore. so why are you here, you hoping that you'd find us?"
"We would have found you eventually as soon as we could have found a phone book," Charles replied. Moira chuckled at the suggestion and she replied. "Charles Corven."
"Moira Banning, it is an honour to see you again and with your family," Charles said looking at Peter, realizing that they're waiting to be introduced Moira turned to Peter.
"Peter and Jack, this is Charles Corven the former Commodore from Neverland," Moira spoke to Peter who then offered his hand to Charles. When Charles raised his hand to take Peter's hand, Maggie and Jack noticed that Charles wasn't wearing the gauntlet he wore in Neverland anymore.
Taking Peter's hand Charles shook it as he spoke.
"So you're the Peter Banning attorney at law, who used to be Peter Pan of Neverland."
"He is Peter Pan dad." Tiny Tim spoke to Charles, calling him his dad.
Peter chuckled at the remark nodding to Tiny Tim's remark as he replied. "In Neverland a few years ago I was Peter Pan, but I never forgot about the lost boys I had some great times with. Especially you Too Small." Peter said to Tiny Tim who nodded.
"Too Small was my former name but I'm now calling myself Tim, Tiny Tim Corven, Mr Banning." Peter nodded his consent before looking up to Charles' face.
He was about to speak when Jack stepped up and spoke to him. "You're the famous Commodore Corven of the British Royal Navy."
"You stand correct Jack Banning, it's nice to meet you officially."
"Can I ask you something sir?" asked Jack. Charles nodded before Jack asked his question.
"Didn't you wear a gauntlet on your right hand?"
Peter and Moira were about to tell Jack off for asking a rude question when Charles spoke.
"Its okay Peter, I'm happy to answer the question. After the battle was over in Neverland, I had it taken off. It was almost a miracle that my hand was better and having crossed over here we all changed our lives for the better." Charles explained to Peter and Moira.
"So are you still serving in the armed Navy forces?" asked Moira
"Well I've recently applied my skills to be a freelance consultant for the United States Navy, they didn't care about my past but they were happy with my abilities to organize things.
And they offered me a reasonable salary so I can train to become an instructor for yacht sailing and to provide for my own family, my wife Caitlin here has recently opened up her own retail business called The Corven's wedding dress store which is becoming a running success. The new beginning for us all has gone off on a good time here." Charles explained to Peter who was impressed that he managed to land on his feet within a month.
Looking about he found that Maggie was at a short distance talking with Charles' son Andrew, the two looked at their families and back at each other whilst talking. Seeing how much they were in love, Peter then decided on an Idea.
"Um, Mr Corven," Peter spoke. "Actually you're welcome to call me Charles, Mr, Banning."
"Okay then Charles if you call me Peter, anyways my family were about to go in and get a table for dinner tonight so I was wondering if your family hasn't made any reservations, would you be interested?" Peter asked offering an invitation to join his family.
Upon hearing the invitation, Charles and Caitlin thought on it when their boy Tiny Tim spoke.
"Actually Peter, my new mom has book a large table so that we can invite extra guests." Peter looked down at Tiny Tim drawing a grin before he raised his head and spoke.
"In that case, we would be happy to accept."
"Yes absolutely Tiny Tim, thank you for the invitation," Moira said.
"Thanks, little man," Jack replied to Tiny Tim coming up to him, he patted him on the shoulder.
"Great then it's settled, shall we?" Caitlin asked gesturing to the receptionist.
"We shall." Peter and Moira responded before they went off with the Corven Family.
Along the way, Peter and Charles called Maggie and Andrew over to them before they came to the receptionist. Soon after that, the two families were shown to their table where they each took a seat around the table, Andrew sat next to Maggie and Moira whilst Jack sat with Tiny Tim.
Over the course of their dinner, the two families soon bonded well starting a new bond of friendship which Maggie and Andrew had planned since earlier that day when they reunited.
After having dinner at the nice restaurant, Peter and Moira thanked the Corven family for dinner and invited them to see a movie with them as friends which they accepted. Seeing the long-range of movies showing in the cinemas, Charles and Caitlin discussed the case with Peter and Moira before Maggie and Andrew asked if they could see the new movie Clueless.
Seeing as Andrew was a kind person, Caitlin and Peter volunteered to go with the two.
Whilst they were to see Clueless, Charles and Moira would take Jack and Tim to see Pocahontas which was suitable for Tim.
Seeing the compromise that they would then meet back at the reception, Moira and Charles agreed on it and went on to the counter to buy their tickets.
As soon as each of them bought their own tickets, the two families waited for the two cinema screens to open up which took only half an hour. Whilst they waited for the screens to open Andrew and Maggie took a moment to speak alone, making sure they stayed in sight of their parents.
"Andrew, what was it that you wanted to speak to me about?" Maggie asked.
Andrew paused a moment before he replied.
"Do you remember the amulet that belonged to me and my dad?"
"Yes, I remember," Maggie answered before Andrew reached into his left-hand pocket and he pulled the two amulets from it. Seeing the two glowing amulets in his hands, Maggie looked up at Andrew who drew a small grin. "I got them from Tinker Bell, so we can go to Neverland and back. But you need to promise me never to tell anyone about these amulets."
Maggie drew a small grin and she answered.
"You should know me well enough to keep a promise. Can I ask did you use the magic just to travel here?" she asked Andrew.
He then replied with a small grin at Maggie. "My father and I made a wish together, to be a part of the Modern society in your world and thankfully the magic of the amulets helped us including Theodore Starkey and Emmaline to enter this world and to start a new life."
"Then you've done the right thing. But since I'm keeping my promise, you have to make a promise as well that no one will keep us apart and that we'll face any new adventures together." Maggie stated to Andrew, who paused in thought.
In answer to Maggie's request, Andrew took his amulet by the two ends.
Putting it on around her neck he tied the two ends and allowed the amulet to sit nicely on her neck, Maggie did the same to Andrew and she kissed him on the cheek saying her thank you.
Once the time was coming close to go inside, the two families stood up to head in.
When Peter called Maggie and Andrew over to them, the two kids came.
Andrew turned to look at Maggie as they walked. "I guess this is the start of a new adventure."
"If it is, then it's true. To live would be an awfully big adventure." Maggie replied looking at Andrew who nodded in agreement taking her hand he led her into a run into the cinemas with Peter and Caitlin chasing the two in.
After that night, the relationship between Maggie and Andrew grew.
They started seeing each other now and again during their junior years leading up to their senior years followed by graduation and college. But what happened to them and their siblings is another story altogether.
The End.
That's the eleventh and final chapter for Maggie Pan done, I hope that you've enjoyed reading the story as I have enjoyed finding new ideas and writing all about them. Be sure to share this with all your friends and family.
Thanks for your appreciation.
