Aladdin: The Story Continues
Chapter 13 - The Arrival, Part 2
Disclaimer: Disney owns the rights to the "Aladdin" franchise, its characters, etc. and I just own the story, OCs, and so on.
Author's Note: First, let me apologise for the year-long delay… obviously, 2020 has not exactly been a great year for us so far, and it's definitely given me more time to figure out exactly what will happen in this story. Second, I appreciate for everyone that's been waiting so long for another chapter to arrive… so even though it's not exactly as long as past chapters I've done, I hope it's good enough for the time being, and it will definitely not take as long for me to upload this chapter.
Even though he had been calm and relaxed during his conversation with Jasmine, Aladdin was now feeling a little nervous as he made his way over to Genie whilst their respective loves conversed with the ship's crew as they began to arrive at the dock.
"Hey, uh, Genie, I need to talk to you for a moment about something," said Aladdin, but his best friend simply started to smirk since he knew already what was on his mind.
Giving a small nod in the direction of the city, the former all-powerful Genie replied, "You're wondering how to act and everything in front of your girl's mother's people here."
"W-what? No, I was wondering about… the, er…" Genie just looked silently at the sheepish Aladdin. "Alright, yes, I was going to ask you about that. I mean, I've spent my whole life thus far in Agrabah… while Jasmine has probably been her plenty of times and gotten to know how many people. You've never had a master from here or anything?"
His best friend took a moment to think before responding with a shrug. "Nope, not that I can recall… but I mean, I was inside of a lamp for 'bout a thousand years and - alright, relax, Al… look, what have I said about being yourself?"
The young man let out a sigh, and as their boat began to come to a complete stop, Aladdin nodded his head. "Yeah, you're right, you're right… I can do this."
A few moments later
After being told that their luggage would be brought to the rooms that they would be staying at inside the palace, the four friends - plus Abu, Carpet, Rajah, and Iago nearby - were being led to said location by one of the ruler's most trusted palace guard, whose name was Razeer.
"His Highness is very much looking forward to meeting you again since the last time you were here," said the middle-aged man, looking back for a moment at Jasmine and Aladdin. "As well as having the pleasure in meeting you, Aladdin… and on behald of everyone here in Shirabad, may we say how thankful we are for you stopping Jafar from invading this kingdom."
As he noticed the rather joyous and positive energy being shown by those that they passed by (from children to adults), Aladdin shared his own happy look with a slightly smirking Genie before answering, "Well, I appreciate that very much, sir… this is definitely a beautiful kingdom."
Genie let out a low whistle before nodding in agreement, and began to point out several things that he saw to Dalia while Jasmine began to do the same with Aladdin. "That was a shop my mother would take me to almost every day when I was younger… over there is where she and Baba usually ate at when they were around our age… "
Aladdin responded to her with a nod and warm smile, as well as some chuckling every so often in regards to how Jasmine would smile or show signs of excitement with every passing moment.
Even Abu was liking what he saw, but as they were passing by a food cart that held various fruits and berries, the little monkey began to look at it with an intent to nab a few little pieces; however, Carpet stopped him by flying more closer to the group and away from the cart, with Abu responding with a frown and grumble.
"Here you go, lil' buddy," said Aladdin, pulling out a red apple from his pocket that he'd brought over from the ship, and chuckled as Abu started happily consuming the delicious fruit.

With the moon shining brightly in the sky by the time they had arrived at the palace, Razeer assured them that they would be able to meet the ruler of Shirabad during breakfast tomorrow morning. "In the meantime, please be comfortable with the rooms we have prepared."
So now, while Genie and Dalia were preparing for bed in their own lovely room, Aladdin and Jasmine were in awe at how theirs was a bit similar to the one they stayed at back in Agrabah.
A yawning Rajah began to lay down in his own comfortable sleeping area whilst Abu chose to rest atop a comfortable throw pillow with a rolled-up Carpet nearby, and Aladdin watched as Iago continued to fly about in the night sky.
Yeah, being myself was definitely the right call… I mean, everything has turned out pretty well so far -
"So, you've been enjoying what you've seen in my mother's kingdom, Aladdin?" His thoughts were interrupted by the sight of Jasmine exiting from the nearby bathroom, wearing a beautiful and slightly revealing nightgown. Her hair was in the same style that he'd seen the night he snuck into the palace, and she was also wearing a lovely gold necklace.
"Yes, I have…" Aladdin replied, which made Jasmine chuckle and start blushing at his reaction. Then, the young man sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "Um, I mean… yeah, it's like the people here are just so full of positive energy, and not many worries or stuff like that… definitely a difference in comparison to Agrabah."
As she began to come closer to Aladdin, he began to smirk while saying, "You know, I wouldn't mind if you'd give me your own tour of Shirabad so I could know more about the time you spent here."
"Hmmm… I suppose I could do that," replied Jasmine in a similar tone, her hands starting to go around his neck while Aladdin gently placed his own by her soft curves. "But how about for now… the two of us…"
Even though he could feel his heart begin to beat just a little faster, Aladdin wasn't as worried about his wife's suggestion like had been a few days prior, and he could tell that both of them felt the exact same way. "You've read my mind, your Highness."
