Chapter Ten: When Bored... Drive the nearest evil genie up the wall with all of your wish making that he can't understand!

"I'm Bored..." Lloyd stared at the ocean that was spread out beneath us as we flew towards Tiger Widow Island, which is the only place with venom strong enough to slow down a djinn. I tensed slightly as I noticed Lloyd glancing questionably over at Chamille. 'I wish that we had a huge arcade on board the Bounty!'

I silently groaned as I slapped my face, knowing precisely what was going on. Chamille threw her head back, and promptly yelled so as to get everyone's attention. "Lloyd said I wish!"

Like clockwork, Nadakhan showed up, just plain fuming. "I didn't hear anything!"

"I signed it!" Lloyd looked very pleased with himself, even as Ash rushed forward, excitement gleaming in his eyes. Here we go again...

'I wish for a giant ice cream sundae!' Ash signed excitedly, before Karlof pointed at him and announced that he had said I wish.

I burrowed into my arms, staring at the wood railing I was leaning against. We left to follow Nya's crazy plan we weren't too sure was the right one since my sixth sense according to everyone else appears to be broken. At least we left a note for the senseis and Misako explaining what was going on in case they came back before us...

"Nya said I wish!"

"Chamille said I wish!"

"Karlof said I wish!"

"Zane said I wish!"

"Paleman said I wish!"

"Griffin said I wish!"

"Cole said I wish!"

"Jay said I wish!"

"Neuro said I wish!"

"Gravis said I wish!"

"Bolobo said I wish!"

"I wish..." There was a loud thud as the others hurriedly clapped their hands over Jacob's mouth. The dude was blind. He couldn't actually sign it.

"Tox said I wish!" At least there was a few minutes between that gap. I'm pretty sure most of them were wishing on top of each other.

"Shade said I wish!"

"I said I wish but since I'm helping Pixal with flying this ninja ship no one noticed me."

"I have no need to make any wishes." At least Pixal appeared to have some sense. "I already made sixteen just today."

Wow... we have a problem... don't we? And by we I mean they have a problem. Shaking my head slightly, I lifted it up as I turned to face the others who were really enjoying torturing Nadakhan. 'Knock it off. Ninjas don't torture their enemies with their weaknesses.'

"Since when?" Zane so did not just ask that! I gawked at him for a minute before whirling around and summoning my dragon. No way was I staying here while they bothered Nadakhan!

"Drake! Wait!" Skylor called after me even as I lifted up into the air. Ignoring her, I flew off into the deep blue sky, away from them... and hopefully towards Tiger Widow Island.

Maybe this wasn't a good idea... I really don't know where this island is located at. A groan of sorts tore from me, actually managed to make some sort of sound with it, improvement, as I threw my head back to glare at the sky above me. Maybe I could..? "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I broke off midscream, doubling over as a coughing fit overtook me. Okay... that actually helped a lot. It hurt like crazy, and I'll probably end up regretting it for the rest of the day, but still. I felt immensely better about this whole situation. Rubbing my neck, I stared blankly up ahead as an island slowly rose up out of the deep. Uh... looks like I beat the others here. Maybe I can find this far too deadly to let Lloyd and Nya, oh and the others I guess, near it, spider before they get here?

~Nya's POV~

Something was wrong... seriously wrong. I bit my bottom lip as I lifted my spyglass up once more. We were nearing the island, and all thoughts that once we neared it we would spot Kai again vanished when Pixal pointed out the lack of a flaming dragon in the sky. And the more I looked... "I don't like this. My brother should be here by now. He was going straight at a southeastern direction, wasn't he?"

Zane blinked, concern flashing across his features. "If he was even slightly of course it could drastically change where he'll end up."

"But we don't have enough supplies to go on a search for him! That could take months!" Lloyd protested, worry creasing his brow.

I took a deep breath, trying to keep myself calm. Especially since I noticed that the waves appeared to be getting bigger the more I stressed over the lack of Kai. "We need to get the Tiger Widow Venom... then go back for more supplies and help to bring out here to look for him."

Zane and Pixal both looked at me intensely, as if they knew exactly how bad things are gonna get if we don't find him soon. Cole moved to throw the anchor overboard to keep the ship in the same spot, glancing almost casually over at me. "Right. And while we're doing this, you can explain what the mystery plan is."

"What mystery plan? We've been over this! Tiger Widow Venom is Nadakhan's only weakness!"

"Actually I was referring to how when the stone warriors attacked Ninjago, Drake had a flashback of some sort. One that mentioned a plan involving Ninjago. You're his sister. What is this mystery plan?"

I felt my mouth go dry, shock slipping in that Kai would be as dumb as to mention the Plan to the others. We weren't supposed to mention anything until right before we go back to our time and our current selves, with these new memories we've made, take over again. Shaking my head, I muttered angrily to myself. "Idiot... He wasn't supposed to mention any of that!" Maybe I should shake some sense into him next time I see him?

Zane moved quickly even as Jay's face fell for some reason. "Okay! Enough of this! Nya and her brother are our friends! Allies! Whatever the mystery plan is I highly doubt it will change which side they are on!"

"Are you all done torturing me with your wish making so I can go now?" Nadakhan asked from where he was sitting.

"Nah... I was really hoping you would fetch the venom for us." Was it just me, or did Shade look rather pale when he said that?

A/N: Done! Um... oh dear. Kai thinks he is at the right island... but he is nowhere near it. This is going to be fun. And in case you forgot, the last book near the end, Kai had a flashback on talking to Skylor about this crazy plan of time traveling back into time to save all of Ninjago. I also presume that if Zane knows, then Pixal knows as well since it makes since that they'll share that information. And now Jay is concerned that his girlfriend might be part of a plot to takeover Ninjago! SO much fun when they learn the truth...

Also anyone know which movie I was referencing with the whole scream in the wind while on dragon back scene?

The Red Reporter (Both): Give me a sec, I'll have Kai answer that one! Kai: Um... okay then. Actually, I kind of like it. I mean in the show I was the first one gone. In this though, he can't really get to me. At all. It's really nice when you think about it. You're right. I do occasionally make noises. Like my frustrated scream in the wind moment in this chapter. Me: Okay... I've got this one. Thank you Kai. You go ahead and do that, but the more I think that over... the more I'm leaning towards Zane merely connecting the dots. Nya has given them multiple hints over time, and remember, the Smith siblings have a secret sign language that they use sometimes. He probably noticed one of the times they did it while Nya was there and not Samurai X. Not entirely sure about what he connected to get his name and the whole future is in danger must save Ninjago part of it though.

Kifo Entiegon: The ghosts didn't happen. They didn't send Chen and his men to the cursed realm. So no ghosts. Oh yes... they are quite enjoying this. Much to Nadakhan's frustration. And Kai's. He doesn't like everyone torturing Nadakhan over that fact.

grungekitty: I have thought it over and decided that he since I imagine that due to being robotic he is the most intelligent of the ninjas, he merely connected the dots upon spotting Drake and Nya communicating using the secret sign language instead of the normal at some point. (Drake after he discovers it is Nya tries to question her about things he appears to know behind everyone's back using the secret sign language.) I can just imagine what that dream would look like... remember the Oni were in control of Ninjago when they came from.
