Chapter 13

This is where Finn gathers allies to help to face the Flame king and Eldur.
Phoebe may have had an idea to face her father and Eldur and removed her father from power.
I don't own Adventure Time or any of the characters except my OC.
Finn, Phoebe and Marceline headed towards the Candy Kingdom to tell Bonnie about the Flame King and Eldur, they walked and Marcy just floated beside them as she decided to go up ahead to tell Bonnie.
Marceline looked at the two and spoke up" Finn, Pheeb, I'm gonna go up ahead to tell Bonnie, the news. I'll see you later" Marceline said as she flew faster ahead to the Candy Kingdom.
Finn and Phoebe see Marceline going really fast ahead of them. Phoebe look at Finn with a worried expression, as a week ago, Phoebe was really happy with Finn, they been able to touch and was able to kiss each other without Phoebe exploding, she never felt happy than ever, But right now her father want to take all that away from her and this Eldur wants to ruin it. Phoebe is not going to let that happen as she and Finn headed towards the Candy Kingdom.
The two reach the Candy Kingdom and they enter through the main gate, they were in the Candy Kingdom and the street was deserted and quieted. Bonnie must have put them on the Kingdom on lockdown until it was safe.
The two enter the candy palace and they see peppermint butler waiting in the royal hall.
Finn spoke up" Hey, Pep-but, where Peebles at?" Finn asked the candy butler.
Peppermint Butler waves to follow him and Finn, Phoebe follow him to one of Bonnie labs that Finn never been to before. Peppermint Butler opens the door to the lab and in the lab are Bonnie and Marceline talking to each other as they look towards the door as they look at Finn and Phoebe.
" Finn, Marcy told me about the Flame King and this Eldur guy" Bonnie grabbing something off the table as she showed them the activity in the Fire Kingdom" the activity in the Fire Kingdom are going off the chart, it show the people of the Fire Kingdom are not agreeing with each other" When Bonnie said that it shocked the two Human.
" W-wait, what do you mean they're not agreeing with each other?" Phoebe asked as she was shocked to hear that the people of the Fire Kingdom are not agreeing with each other.
" From what I gather from my intal. They appeared to be at war with each other" Bonnie said as Finn and Phoebe were shocked to hear that the people of the Fire Kingdom are at war with each other.
" Why are They're at war with each other?" Finn asked as he wanted to know why or why Flambo didn't tell him about this.
" Well I was confused at first, But when Marcy told me about the meeting that Phoebe's father had. My theory that the people of the Fire Kingdom may have a disagreement about it, and that's the reason why they're fighting." Bonnie stated as she pulled out a map of the Fire Kingdom." Okay, this is where the restincene are holding up and being led by your brother, Flint" Bonnie pointed at the base where Phoebe's brother base is." And the Flame King is holding up at the Fire Kingdom Palace, with his platoons of his royal guards and a Division of his soldiers" Bonnie said.
Phoebe then spoke up" How many soldiers does my brother have?" Phoebe asked the candy princess.
Bonnie looks at the map where Phoebe's brother is and his soldiers are at," flint is in command of two brigades and four company of the soldiers that he has in command, but it looks like he outnumbered running out of options" Bonnie said as making Phoebe eyed widen in fear.
" When did all this start?" Phoebe asked as she wanted to know how all this started as there was a civil war going in the Fire Kingdom and her father and Eldur are the cause of all of it.
" it all started five hour ago" Bonnie stated then spoke again" and I gotta say, your brother is real quick to move his troops away from the Palace and setting up base to counter your father" Bonnie said as she was impressed with Flint strategy.
" Well, Flint is one of the generals of the Fire Kingdom, and if I remember that some of his troops are really loyal to him" Phoebe looked down at the map." And he knows his strategy and he studies his enemies' tactics," Phoebe said as she looked at the map trying to know her brother's next move.
Finn looks at the map to see the whole map of the Fire Kingdom and see the Flame King troops are marked and where Flint troops are marked, Finn looks towards PB" Bonnie, what is the FK next Moved?" Finn asked the PB.
Bonnie put her hands on her chin as she looked at the paper in her hand" It's hard to tell what his next move is, all I know is that he is putting troops on the defensive, and it seems he is waiting for Flint to make his move." Bonnie said.
Finn didn't like this one bit. Why would the Flame King put his troop onto defensive? Why just wait…. Then it hit Finn. FK is wearing out their patience and lowering Flint's troops morale down." I know why he is waiting" Finn said, getting the three girls' attention.
" you do?" the three said in unison.
Finn nodded" Yeah, FK is wearing out Flint's troops' patience and lowering their morale" Finn stated as they know that the troops have family near the Palace.
The girl's eyes widen as they know the Flame King is doing. He is gonna make them wait as Flnt's troops well deserted from their post and try to reunite with their family or get them to safety.
Marceline hover over the map and look at the three as they were trying to figure out how to stop the Flame King and Eldur.
Phoebe and Bonnie were looking at the map again as they were trying to form a plan and Finn began to form his own plan and Marceline just floated and had no idea on what to do in this situation or what the Flame King was planning.
Finn looked at Bonnie with a serious look" Peeples, should we warn the other kingdom about this upcoming threat?" Finn asked, as at least they should tell them about the civil war in the Fire Kingdom.
Bonnie shook her head" No," Bonnie said and the three said 'why?' Bonnie explained to them" if we did, every kingdom of ooo would be on high alert and it would put them in panic. It's up to us to stop the Flame King and Eldur" Bonnie said as she walked out of the lab and headed towards her throne room, making them understand.
Finn, Phoebe and Marcy follow her to the throne room. The group walk to the throne room but Phoebe decides to speak up.
" Bonnie," Phoebe getting her attention as they kept walking," how long does my brother have before he tries to counter attack or my father and Eldur moved their troops?" Phoebe asked the candy princess.
Bonnie is being thoughtful about this" I don't know, Pheeb? All we know if Finn's theory is right. The Flame King is gonna wear out their patience making Flint to lead a counter attack and whatever the Flame King is planning for them? It might be a trap." Bonnie said as they entered the throne room.
"Now..." Bonnie reaches for a wall sconces and it appears to be a lever as it reveals a secret staircase as they walk down the stairs to another lab that Bonnie has, in Finn's head 'how many labs does Bonnie have?' Finn asked in his head."...our plan is to help Flint to fight against the Flame King" Bonnie led them into her secret lab that Bonnie has and in the middle of the lab room, appeared to be some sort of hazmat suit that has a fire symbol on the shoulder pad.
Marceline looks around the lab that they haven't been to before" umm, Bonnie, when did you have the time to have a secret lab built without us noticing?" Marceline asked her friend.
Bonnie nervously smile" Well I had this built whenever the Flame King decided to go to war with the other Kingdom or me. I built fire-proof suits to face him when the time comes" Bonnie said, making Phoebe narrowed her eyes.
" Did you build another lab for me too?" Phoebe asked the candy princess as she remembered the time when Pheeb didn't trust Bonnie.
Bonnie sweat nervously as she also built a lab for Phoebe. Bonnie nodded a bit as she didn't make eye contact with Phoebe.
Finn then spoke" Bonnie, we really need to talk about this when we're done defeating the Flame King" Finn told Bonnie as Marceline and Phoebe nodded in agreement." But right now, we got a King to defeat and a Kingdom to save" finn said with eagerness.
The other agreed as Bonnie walked up to her built fire-proof suit" all right, I never had the time to use this, but it's better now or never" Bonnie said as she took the suit off the stand and began to put it on.
Finn then spoke" umm, Bonnie, I only see one suit and there are four of us, do we get one too?" Finn asked.
Marcy spoke up" I don't need a fire-proof suit, Finn. I'm basically fire-immune" Marceline stated as she doesn't need a fire-suit.
Bonnie pushes the button on her suit sleeve and opens up a hidden compartment revealing to be a more fire-proof suit hanging up.
" I always come prepared and with these suits, we could enter the Fire KIngdom without burning." Bonnie stated as Finn and Phoebe began to put on the fire-proof suit, but Finn and Phoebe had a difficult time to move around in the suit.
Finn grabbed his demon blood sword as he tried to swing it, but there was a little delay in the swing.
" Hey Bonnie, can you do something about my swinging arm? Because there is a delay on the swinging and slashing on my right arm." Finn said he showed Bonnie the problem.
Bonnie walked up to Finn and grabbed his right arm and took off the heavy material on both the arms and added something in both the arms." Ok, try to swing your arms now" Bonnie told Finn.
Finn swings both of his arms with his demon blood sword and he chuckles a bit." Awesome, the sword seems lighter than usual. How do you do that, Bonnie?" Finn asked.
Bonnie smirk a bit" I added a bit of mechanical that'll increase both of your arms to make your sword swing faster and it'll help your sword swing a bit faster" Bonnie explained the new set that the arms has now.
Phoebe and Marcy were impressed with Finn's new suit arms, Phoebe then realized something, she hasn't had much experience with swords or fighting with swords. Phoebe was still in training. All she knows is swish-swish-slice. It's all she knows right now, of course some of it may be her fault, she was slacking off her training as she wanted to spend more time cuddling with Finn most of the time as she wished to be human.
Marceline just held her axe-bass as she was tuning it out and looked back at the group" Ok Bonnie, when do we leave and head towards the Fire Kingdom'' Marceline asked.
Bonnie looks towards Marcy" we got an hour to prepare" she now looks at Phoebe" Pheeb, I need to talk to you about something. Come on" Bonnie asked Phoebe to follow as she did as Finn and Marceline wonder what they were gonna talk about.
As Bonnie and Phoebe were outside of the lab out of eye contact and away so they can't hear them talking.
Bonnie spoke" Phoebe, I know it's been a week since you turn yourself into a Human and your power is no longer with you. But do you still have your Power Gems?" Bonnie asked as she was curious if she still had them.
Phoebe nodded as she took the top of the suit and reached into her pocket and took out two familiar diamond shape rubies that were once a part of her body.
" Good, I may have an idea what to do with them," Bonnie said as she snatched them from Phoebe's hand as Bonnie looked at the Gems in her hands.
Phoebe then spoke up." What do you need them for?" Phoebe asked if she needed to know what Bonnie was up to.
Bonnie looked up to Phoebe and started to explained" Phoebe, I may be able to use your Gems as a power source for something that may tip the battle in our favor and I may think you'll like these one" Bonnies said as she went back into the lab where Finn and Marcy are in now.
Finn and Marcy were talking to each other as they saw Bonnie and Phoebe coming back to the lab.
" Hey, you two. What were you two discussing out there?" Finn asked as he wondered why Bonnie wanted to talk to Phoebe.
" Bonnie wants to show me something, and I have no idea what it is?" Phoebe said as Bonnie walked up to a standing closet and pulled out a key from her pocket and opened the closet and showed two gauntlets with two empty diamond shape slots.
Bonnie took the two gauntlets out of the standing closet and set them on the table" Ok, Phoebe, this is what I want to show you" Bonnie putting the Phoebe's Gems into the slots in the gauntlets." Alright, Phoebe would you kindly put on the gauntlet" Bonnie told Phoebe as she kindly did.
Phoebe put on the gauntlets." Okay, what are they supposed to…." Phoebe didn't finish her sentence as the gauntlet was set ablaze, shocking Finn and marceline.
" Whoa?!" Phoebe, Finn and Marceline shockingly exclaimed as Bonnie just smiled at her handy work seeing her invention working so well.
Phoebe just stood there shocked as the gauntlets were on fire, but she felt no heat going through the gauntlets. Phoebe then turns off the heat from her gauntlets as she stares at the gauntlets on her hands with disbelief.
Finn and Marceline look at Bonnie with a shocked look as she gives Phoebe a gauntlet that gives her power back.
Finn then spoke" Bonnie, please tell me you didn't give Phoebe's power back?" Finn asked as he didn't want to go back to that whole not touching and kissing.
Bonnie shook her head" Nope. the Gems are her power source that gives her power, it may look like she got her power back. But no, the gauntlet that she is wearing right now, is her weapon and tools, but she won't be able to fly" Bonnie explained to the Rest of the group.
Everybody nodded as they understood what she meant as Finn sighed in relief as Phoebe doesn't go back to the same way she once was.
Phoebe just looks at the gauntlets as she feels like she got her power back, but it's just the gauntlets that have the power. Phoebe then set them ablaze on and off again out of amusement.
Finn then spoke up" Pheeb," getting her attention" The gauntlets? How does it feel?" Finn asked his girlfriend.
Phoebe smiled a little" well the gauntlets don't feel hot it just….warm" Phoebe said. Then she looked at Bonnie" How would this help us? Everybody in the Fire Kingdom is made out of 'Fire'" Phoebe asked Bonnie as what was the point of this.
" Well, what I gather from my study into Flame elemental biology."Bonnie told Phoebe" From what I learn, your flame power is different from a normal flame elemental flame power" Bonnie said as Phoebe just looked confused.
" What?" Phoebe just said as she had no idea what she was talking about nor understanding what she meant. Finn and Marceline were confused as Phoebe.
Bonnie sigh" In a normal term. Your Flame power is more powerful and more deadly than any Flame elemental that can wield." Bonnie explained to Phoebe.
Phoebe, Finn and Marceline nodded as they understood what she meant.
" Okay, like I said. We got an hour to prepare. So get ready for the incoming battle that we'll have to face." Bonnie said as grabbed a bag and started to put equipment into the bag.
Marceline hovered as she waited for everyone to get done preparing. Phoebe then pulled out her fire sword from her sheath and did a few test swings. Finn then sat down as he thought about the whole plan. First . help Flint to stop the Flame King and Eldur from Killing him. Second. What to do with them after they defeat them.
" Hey, Bonnie, what do we do with them after we defeat them?" Finn asked the candy princess.
Bonnie thought about this, she looked at Phoebe." Phoebe, does your father still have that lamp in the throne room?" Bonnie asked Pheeb.
Phoebe just looked at with a slight angry look and responded" Yes, he may still have my prison lamp in the throne room. My father never took it down" Phoebe said as she still remembered the time in the lamp, not able to do nothing and not able to move around freely. That all she could remember throughout her childhood.
Bonnie forgot how sensitive Phoebe was about her past and sometimes she forgot that she put her in the lamp in the first place.
" Sorry," Bonnie apologies to Phoebe." If your father still has the lamp. We could imprison him and Eldur, if we win." Bonnie said as everyone thought about this.
Finn thinks it might work. Marceline thinks about the whole imprisonment, but she had to agree to it. Phoebe thought about it as this is the best way, but her father tried to take away the thing that makes her happy, is her love for Finn and how he made her feel wanted before she turned herself human and now they were together, living under the same roof. Phoebe gripped her fist as she had to agree to this.
An hour had passed and the group were ready, Bonnie had attached the gauntlet to Phoebe's fire-proof suit arms and her fire sword in her sheath on her waist. Finn demon blood sword strap to his back, and Marceline bass-axe also strap to her back. Bonnie had her bag of equipment.
They set off to the Fire Kingdom to assist Flint against the Flame King and Eldur. The screen faded to black.
