I DO NOT OWN TEEN WOLF, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, OR THE CHARACTERS.
Chapter Eleven:
I was nervous about the triple date with Lydia and Jordan. Logically, I knew that I didn't have anything to worry about, but my nerves refused to cooperate. Chris and Peter were great. They didn't tease me about being anxious and tried to assuage my anxiety instead.
I tried, instead, to picture who Lydia would try to set Stiles up with. From everything I've heard and seen, he seems to be pretty great. He's just not for me. Who knows? Maybe it'll work out and there will be more triple dates in our futures.
"Are you sure that's what you want to wear, Sweetheart?" Peter asked me. I shrugged, as I stood up. I knew that I dress3ed down, but we were only grabbing burgers and going to the Drive-In. It was a casual date.
I was in high-waisted, dark grey jeans, a Child's Play crop top, with my leather jacket on over it. The black Chucks on my feel kept it unmistakably casual. MY makeup was simple. I played up my eyes and donned old red lips. I left my hair down and loose. I thought I looked alright.
"Yes," I nodded. Peter bit his lip and placed his hands on my hips. He pulled my body flush against his. I looked up at him and knew that he was up to no good. If I didn't put a stop to this, we were going to beyond late and Lydia would kill us. Frankly, I enjoyed being alive.
"How am I supposed to keep my hands off of you, Darling?" he purred. I closed my eyes and tried to get my libido under control. He knows what that voice does to me. He's not playing fair. But, then again, they never play fair.
"With practice, Daddy," I breathed, as I pushed him away. He didn't even look the slightest bit deterred, but he nodded in agreement, all the same.
"Do you really want to see what Lydia will do to you, if we're late because of you, Peter?" Chris asked, as he pulled on his leather jacket.
"I won't protect you." I warned him. Peter smirked, but had the sense to look mildly concerned.
"That's not how I intend to spend my evening." Peter admitted, with a smirk.
"Good, then let's go."
We got to the diner after Lydia, and Jordan, but before Stiles. After we sat down, a nervous looking Stiles strolled in. He fidgeted as he took an empty seat next to Jordan.
Almost as if on cue, a sultry blonde came sauntering over to us. She wore a knowing smirk that could match Peter's. She looked Stiles up and down and seemed satisfied with what she saw. Her lips curved into a seductive smile, as she sat next to Lydia, across from Stiles.
Judging by Stiles' reaction, I'd say that Lydia did well pairing them together. HE gave her an easy, sheepish grin and introduced himself.
"I'm Erica. It's nice to meet you, Batman." She replied, referencing the shirt he donned under his plaid over-shirt.
"You gonna be my Catwoman?" He teased.
"If you play your cards right."
Dinner went well. Conversation flowed easily with plenty of jokes. I found myself hoping that our triple dates would turn into a regular occurrence.
Erica was great and Stiles seemed to shine, while he talked to her. She got along well with everyone, while simultaneously keeping us on our toes. She fit in just fine.
WE were all sprawled out on blankets that we brought with us to the Drive-In. We were seeing The Joker and I was ecstatic. Erica, Jordan, and Stiles shared my excitement.
The movie was nothing like I expected, but far from disappointing. It tugged at my heartstrings and made my heart ache for Joaquin Phoenix's character.
We didn't talk during the movie, which is rare for me, but we didn't need to. Instead, I lay sandwiched between Peter and Chris. They just held me, while we watched.
"I'm really glad I got to meet you, Stiles. This is a really fun group, Lydia. We should have a girls day and go shopping. I definitely want to see you, again, Batman. I'm expecting you to call me." Erica announced, before pressing a chaste kiss on Stiles' gaping mouth.
"Did that really just happen?" Stiles asked, as he watched Erica walk away.
"I'd say that was a success, wouldn't you?" Lydia mused, with a knowing smirk.
"I'd say so, Sweetheart." Peter agreed.
"Bonnie, I'll get with you soon about the girls' day. Enjoy the rest of your night." Lydia excused herself with a wink, with Jordan trailing closely behind.
"Want to come back to my place, Baby Girl?" Chris asked me in a low voice. I nodded, as I peered up at them. Oh, yeah. I'm falling for them and I'm falling fast.
Heaven help me.
