Hello everyone. Sorry for the long wait. Here is chapter 13. I hope that you will enjoy it. :)
After bravely confessing her sexuality to her parents, Alondra could only watch her parents in nervousness. She could see their shocked facial expressions, knowing that they are surprised to find out that their own daughter has romantic feelings other females. The tension in the air is constantly growing, although this only made Alondra begin to feel a lot more nervous than before with sweat dripping down her forehead due to her own nerves.
Luckily Isabella quickly approached her out of concern, which soon results in her touching her girlfriend's wing. The two held each other's wings together, showing that they both are in a relationship with each other while looking at both of Alondra's stunned parents. The two adult Scarlet Macaws closed their eyes, taking the time to process what they've just witnessed from the very sight of their own daughter holding wings with Isabella.
Unfortunately for both of the loving girlfriends themselves, Aubert along with Lucile have quickly became angry. They glared at their saddened daughter, who had hoped that her parents would come to accept her only to find out that they truly hate her true sexuality. Suddenly Aubert launched at Alondra, who was quickly protected by Isabella whom has punched Aubert in the face before Lucile tried to attack with Adelina and Louis defeating her.
"Mum, dad, please I know this is hard to accept!" said Alondra with tears forming in her eyes. "But this is who I am now, please try to accept me".
"You truly disgust us, you are a traitor to us all!" said Aubert as he glared furiously at Alondra. "You've committed a sin, an grave sin against God".
"But dad, please, I am still your daughter, ok!?" said Alondra as tears streamed down her face. "I am always your daughter, nothing has changed".
"You are no daughter to us, WE DISOWN YOU!" said Lucile as she glared at Alondra in hatred. "You've betrayed us!, both you and your girlfriend".
Alondra just couldn't hold in her tears of sadness any longer, that quickly resulted in her sobbing uncontrollably. Isabella quickly hugged her girlfriend, while Louis stormed over to Aubert along with Lucille before pinning them both against the wall of their tree hollow. Adelina herself was consoling Alondra, understanding that her student is going through a hard time in experiencing horrible hatred along with resentment from her own religious parents.
"You really do have some nerve!, how dare you!" said Louis as he looked at Aubert out of anger. "She's your daughter!, don't you care for her!?".
"She is a sinner!, you fool!, she is now a traitor!" said Aubert as he glared at Louis in pure hate. "Why are you defending her!?, she is a sinner!".
"No she is not!, she is an very brave young girl!" said Louis as he kept looking angrily at Aubert. "I defend her because I care!, YOU HEAR ME!?".
"Oh really!?, I take it that you are a sinner too!" said Lucille as she still tries to get Louis off her. "You sinners are the same!, you're INFECTED!".
"SHUT UP!, you've both betrayed your religion!" said Louis as he kept his glare on the two birds. "You have betrayed God!, YOU ARE COWARDS!".
Adelina could only let out a sigh of sadness, she had a feeling that something like this was going to happen. She felt very sorry for Alondra, knowing that she had made an brave decision in telling her parents about her romantic attractions towards other females. Adelina knew she now has a big responsibility, due to the fact she needs to take care of her student in order to help her emotionally recover from this horrible kind of experience of rejection.
Suddenly Lucile has begun to target Isabella, due to the fact she believes that Isabella has betrayed her trust. Unfortunately for Lucile, her attempted attack on Isabella resulted in Alondra using her magical telekinesis abilities to quickly stop and grab her mother. This ultimately revealed her powers to her parents, who could only look at her in both fear as well as shock with their facial expressions causing Alondra's eyes to be filled with even more tears.
"You have powers!?, you are a witch Alondra!" said Lucile as she begins to glare deeply at Alondra. "You have betrayed, all of us!, your family!".
"We demand you leave!, right now! young lady!" said Aubert as he could only look with fear in his eyes. "Leave now!, you will die if you return!".
Alondra just couldn't take the emotional pain, that resulted in her losing her focus as she quickly releases her mum. After releasing her mum, Alondra quickly felt the home in a state of panic and distraught in the knowledge her parents have only begun to hate her more. She took one last look of her childhood home, before she focused on flying to an abandoned bridge with the sole intention of ending her life as she didn't want to live a life of pain.
She had managed to arrive at the bridge itself, although she has no idea that she is being followed by a hooded figure. The latter saw her leave, before making up it's mind in following the young female Scarlet Macaw to find out where the distraught Scarlet Macaw is going. The figure had arrived at the bridge in time, only to see Alondra stand near the edge of the bridge with her tears-filled eyes closed before she allowed herself to fall off the bridge.
The figure quickly sprung into action at once, knowing that Alondra is falling to her watery grave. Luckily she was rescued by the hooded figure, who decided to take her over the channel waters to a different country in order to get her a chance of brand new life for herself. The hooded figure took one look at Alondra, only to quickly open a portal in order to get to her destination faster before diving straight into the portal itself as it closed soon after.
I wonder who this mysterious figure is, is it a friend or foe?, we'll have to find out in the next chapter.
