Hello, everyone. LuffyGirl here.
I'm just gonna get straight to the point.
I was going to announce this on the first but decided to wait a bit to see if I still feel the same way.
Um… Something unfortunate has happened in the family. Pretty sure I don't have to explain what and I don't want to.
It's strange to say but that happening ties into what was my inspiration for writing what I write especially for my MarcoxThatch one-shots in general. Because of that, it no longer feels right nor fair to write about that and the future ideas that I had upcoming for said one-shots and most stories in general.
If I do happen to write anything, it's because I want to but from now on, I don't think I'll be writing as much angst as I used to unless it's really light.
I'm not giving up writing completely but with what was my inspiration, it almost feels like I am.
However, when I say 'I'm not writing' I really mean I'm not publishing anything on here. I will always be a writer, I will always write down ideas, one-shots and little things here and there but they will most likely never be published on here for all of you to see.
It really hurts. Both what happened and the decision that I'm making with writing. Don't expect anything for February, March or any other month, not even for Luffy's birthday or any other birthday.
I will ALWAYS be a part of the One Piece fandom (have been for over fifteen years) and it will always be my number one and I know it will always be with me good and/or bad. The day the devastating news was told to us, I happened to be wearing a One Piece shirt. I know it's weird and it's just coincidence but to me, it means that One Piece will be there no matter what.
Anyway, so until I figure things out…
I think I'll stop with FanFiction for now. Which is a shame because this year is going to be ten years since I've been on this site. It just… really feels wrong to write the ideas that I had especially considering what they were.
