They were slowly replicating supplies for Matty, as they had decided to call him, and generally getting everything ready for when he made his arrival. Patsy was twenty-six weeks pregnant at this point, almost three quarters of the way there. When they had told Harry's parent's they were expecting a boy a couple of months previous, his mom had promised to look out some things of Harry's she had kept for them to use for Matty. He couldn't believe they had only fourteen weeks to go until they got to meet him.

"And that is the bassinet done" Tom said. He had been helping Harry assemble all the furniture. B'Elanna was meant to be helping them as well, but she had been called to Engineering.
"Quick break before we do the changing table?" Harry suggested. Tom nodded in agreement. "Patsy, you want a tea?" She had been sorting the baby clothes out and arranging them in the dresser. Miral had been helping her.
"A cup of tea sounds amazing" she replied. The nursery was almost there now. The changing table was the final thing to make.
"Are you sure you're still ok to watch Miral tonight?" Tom asked as they all sat on the couch.
"Of course we are" Patsy replied. "You and B'Elanna go and enjoy your night together."

A couple of hours later the changing table was built and in place. Tom had left, leaving Miral with them after telling her to behave. They had played for a bit before having dinner, after which was bath time. Once bathed and in her pyjamas, Miral had curled up with Patsy on the couch as she read her a story, The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Patsy had told Harry she had read a lot of the Beatrix Potter books to the twins. Harry heard Patsy call quietly to him. Miral had fallen asleep. He gently picked up the sleeping toddler and took her into the nursery.

Harry was clearing up the breakfast things and Patsy was reading another Beatrix Potter story, The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck, to Miral when B'Elanna arrived to pick her daughter up.
"Hi Ma" Miral said, jumping off the couch and running to her mother.
"Hi Sweetheart. You have fun with Uncle Harry and Aunt Patsy?" B'Elanna asked her daughter as she picked her up.
"Yeah" Miral replied. "Aunt Pats read Peter Wabbit and Jemima Puddle-Duck and we had banana pancakes."
"Neat" B'Elanna smiled at Miral. She looked at Patsy and Harry. "Thanks for watching her."
"Any time. She was as good as gold" Harry replied.
"Say goodbye to Uncle Harry and Aunt Patsy" B'Elanna said to her daughter.
"Bye" Miral said, waving at them. Patsy and Harry said bye and waved back.
"Thanks again. See you later" B'Elanna shifted Miral on her hip.
"See you later, Maquis" Harry replied.
