Much like the day before, Logan and 'Two didn't really expect to be anything eventful over school, especially with Logan having kept his promise and getting caught up on schoolwork.

It wasn't until the two were walking down the halls when things got… interesting…

When the two were making their way to their usual spot for lunch, they couldn't help but notice a young man around their age being harassed by two slightly older students. One of the two bullies which seemed to be looking at a portable gaming device with an unimpressed look on his face, the younger boy who actually owned the device in question tried to fight back but was shoved violently in the ground by the second brute.

The first bully spoke up: "Just a lame racing game." He said tossing it to the downed young man who thankfully caught it before it could hit the ground and break. "Come on man, we're wasting our time with this weirdo."

"Yeah you're right, the kid can't even speak or look us in the eye. Just what is he even good for?" The second one said with a chuckle. The two were about to walk away until they both simultaneously fell face first onto the ground surprising the young man who now noticed that the bullies' shoelaces were tied together which confused him on how that could have happened.

The two guys turned around to see 'Two and Logan helping the young man back on to his feet. Putting two and two together, they glared at the duo trying to undo the tight knots as a voice spoke behind them:

"Need a hand gentlemen?" A less than amused tone spoke out, they both turned to see it was one of the teachers with his arms crossed looking down at them, showing their "roughhousing" didn't go unnoticed.

"Perfect…" One simply stated, he knew that his parents were not going to be happy…

Now sitting with the young man at the lunch table were the two best friends deciding to do a little bit of small talk to help him relax. He was about an inch shorter than Logan with dark colored skin, a pair of glasses, and short hair. They'd learn that his name was Trevor, and despite the bully's remark, he can indeed speak.

"So are you alright? And if you don't mind me asking, why were they attacking you?" Logan asked carefully. To the boy in front of her the word: "Attacking" seemed a bit much, but he appreciated the concern nonetheless.

"Yeah, I'm fine… And I don't know, they just think I'm weird. I think it's because I'm on the autism spectrum."

"Really?" 'Two asked with her eyes widening slightly.

"Yeah."

Once again, 'Two's blood began to boil. On top of picking on someone who couldn't defend themselves they taunted this boy because he was different from them, there was no excuse for such needless cruelty. After taking a deep breath, 'Two kept her composure telepathically telling Logan that she was fine, and was willing to give herself a little credit knowing that the trick with the shoelaces was definitely a way better alternative than starting a fight.

Thinking quickly Logan decided to change the subject: "You know that's a pretty cool shirt you got there. Where'd you get it?"

"Oh it's a gift from my brother, I don't know where he got it from." Trevor was more happy to go along with Logan's idea, he could have sworn that he just saw a dark aura surrounding 'Two a few moments ago. "Do you like playing Super Pichu Bros too?" He asked pointing to the two video game characters on his tee shirt.

"Well I have my favorites." Logan began.

Through that time the two boys become lost in their conversation with 'Two who while wasn't really caring about something like gaming, was willing to share some opinions she had regarding things like childhood cartoons and movies. Upon further inspection, she was able to see that Trevor's mind was different from a lot of other people's, she saw that much like Logan he was not very fluent in math but could name his favorite cartoon characters and their respective backstories off the top of his head as she had learned first hand. Admittedly she also enjoyed Trevor's company much like Logan did, he was soft spoken but polite, so it didn't take long for all three of them to get along.

The next few days seemed to be just as cordial. One could even say that Trevor was beginning to see 'Two like a big sister, knowing that if anyone would try to actually get more physical than the previous two, she would quick to protect him. Admittedly she could be a little antsy around new people, but considering that this kid was just looking to make friends, there was no need for it. Considering that the two bullies haven't been making their presence known since that day the duo met Trevor, it wasn't hard to relax.

Eventually, Logan and Trevor exchanged phone numbers and were now able to talk even off of school grounds. To say that Logan's parents were happy to hear that he and 'Two made a new friend was an understatement, really besides 'Two herself and a few classmates, Logan could be a bit of an introvert at times. It was his own philosophy that was in his words: "Sometimes you have to be an observer before you can be a participant.". It would seem that this new friend also seemed to have had similar beliefs.

"Gotta say this week flew by fast." Logan remarked.

"It certainly felt like it." 'Two agreed they both sat down on a park bench. Once again, they had used their early dismissal to their advantage, Joyce decided to go and bring them to the park since it used to be Logan and 'Two favorite places to visit when they were younger since it was a nice day to hang out. Joyce herself walked away having to answer a phone call leaving the duo alone with Logan brainstorming with his journal and 'Two reading a book that Logan carried for her in his backpack. Unfortunately for Logan, he seemed to have been suffering from a bit of a writers block, he did manage to think some combinations of attacks here and there but couldn't find himself going any further than that. 'Two was quick to notice the boy getting frustration and suggested that maybe he take a break, it was hard to disagree with.

Logan put down his journal turning his attention looking at the patch of grass not far from where they were sitting remembering their first time being there:

"Come on Logan, pass it!" Bo called out with an open baseball mitt as a much younger Logan held a base ball in his own mitt. He tried tossing it back but the throw only ended being weaker than intended and the ball landed in front of Bo's feet. "It's alright, you're getting better." Bo said with a smile before picking up the ball and sending it back to the boy. Logan then turned to 'Two was just sitting on the sidelines watching with some interest. Logan then tossed the ball finally landing in his dad's glove who praised him for it. "Atta boy!" Bo called out showing the ball still in his mitt making Logan smile. It was a perfect day, bird Pokemon were singing, Logan was bonding with his adoptive father, and the sun-

Logan immediately stopped reminiscing when he felt something small and light hit his head. He and 'Two looked up to see gray clouds appear over their heads, making the two quickly put their things back into the backpack and hurried back to the car.

The duo sat in the backseats with Logan simply turning to his best friend: "So... same time tomorrow?" asking jokingly turning towards 'Two who just smiled.

"Maybe if it's not raining." 'Two said plainly.

"What rain?" Logan asked in a joking manner briefly looking out the window as raindrops continued to hit the windshield getting a slight chuckle from 'Two.

So in case any of you guys thought I forgot about this story, I didn't. And I really hate how it took me this long to figure out how to keep this going. And yeah since I didn't want to keep this chapter too short, I decided to add a little flashback in for good measure. I may or may not do more flashbacks at some points later down the line for a little extra wholesomeness. And once more a new character enters the fray, expect to see him in a few more chapters.

Until Next Time...
