"So did you get the job?" Kurt asked Jake when he came home from his trial shift at their local café.

"Yeah I got the job." Jake said with a hug smile. "I start on Monday. Four days a week for eight hours."

"That's great. I worked in a café for a bit I loved it." Kurt told Jake thinking back to that Job and how much he loved it.

"Really?" Jake asked shocked. "When."

"When your father and I first moved to New York I needed a part time job and I found one in this little café about five minutes from the little apartment we were leaving in there." Kurt told him with a smile. "You're going to love it."

"Sure. I never pictured you working any were other than were you work now." Jake admitted as he and Kurt seat down in the living room.

"I had a lot of jobs before I got this one. I worked in a restraint, a bar, a shop. I didn't start this job until just before I found out I was pregnant with you and back then it was only a part time unpaid Internship." Kurt said with a laugh.

"I still find it hard to picture you working in a café."

"I've cooked you dinner almost every night for almost 22 years." Kurt pointed out.

"I know. Doesn't mean you worked in a café."

"I know that."

"Can you believe I'm 25 weeks pregnant?" Rose said happily as she and Joe laid in their bed both of them with hands on Rose's baby bump.
"Were over half way to meeting our little boy." Joe smiled.

"I know. 15 weeks until we get to meet him. It seems crazy that were going to be parents." Rose moved a little bit as the baby kicked.

Joe just smiled down at Rose before kissing her. "We should probably start thinking of names."

"We probably should." Rose agreed. "Dad's said we could use the room next door for the nursery."

"I thought we agreed that the baby would sleep with us for a couple months?" Joe asked confused.

"Yeah but then he will be older and he'll need his own room. I want to get it done before he's here. Make sure it's all ready." Rose explained.

"Okay.

"I'm doing okay." Jake said about three weeks after his first AA meeting. "You guys can go on that little trip you put back for me."

"Are you sure. I don't want to leave you until I'm sure you're okay." Kurt told his son.

"I'm fine dad. You don't need to be here all the time for me not to drink. Go on your trip together and have a good time. I want you to be happy." Jake told them hopping his dad's would listen to him.

"If you're sure I will book it for in two weeks." Noah said placing a hand on Kurt's shoulder.

"You're sure you're going to be okay?" Noah asked nervously.

"Of course I'm sure." Jake promised.

"Then well go in two weeks." Kurt agreed.

"Your Papa and I are going away this weekend." Kurt reminded the kids as he gave them there breakfast.

"I know you've told us every day for the last week." Rose sighed from her seat at the table.

"I just want to make sure you guys remember were going away." Kurt told them sitting down opposite Rose. "I have been blamed off not tell you stuff before and I don't want you to blame me of that this time."

"You always tell me what's happening." Jude told his dad with a smile.

"Thanks buddy." Kurt smiled over at his youngest. "I always tell you what's going on but some of you forget."

"You don't always tell us what's happening." Harmony protested.

"Your dad's right." Noah said as he walked into the kitchen. "I'm almost always there when he does." Noah added before Harmony could butt in.

"He has forgotten." Jake pointed out following his dad into the kitchen. "Once he forgot to tell me about some doctor appointment until about ten minutes before we needed to be there."

"I have forgotten a few things but nothing really important." Kurt told them. "I would never forget the important things."

"What time are you leaving?" Jude asked his dads.

"Were going to leave after dinner on Friday." Noah told his son as he walked over to Kurt. "I'll see you after work."

"See you later." Kurt gave Noah a quick kiss before watching his husband leave. "Go and get ready you're going to be late."

All the kids finished their breakfast before walking out of the kitchen and up to their rooms to get ready for school.

"A weekend alone no kids." Noah smiled as he watched Kurt get ready for bed.

"We haven't had that in god knows how long." Kurt sighed happily. "I love our kids but a weekend without them will be amazing."

"Tell me about it." Noah agreed with a smirk. "I have a few things planned for this weekend."

"You do now do you?" Kurt asked as he walked over to the bed. "Do any of them involve us not leaving the hotel room?"

"All of them." Noah said as Kurt leaned down to kiss him. "I was thinking at one point we could go down to the beach. Take a little swim when no one is around."

"I like the sound of that." Kurt kissed Noah again laying down on top of Noah. "I love you so much."

"Love you to."
