Sasuke was of course, not dead, but the pain striking through his mouth and jaw was stunning at best, impossibly unbearable at worst. It was obvious that he couldn't properly go on to fight for some more seconds, given the uneasiness of his legs at following his command. He tilted back and forth like a grandma chair, lamenting his weakness at a surprise attack, doubting his own abilities to fight at all. And, to make things worse for him, he could hear Hinata screams and yells, and he could tell the puppet was seeking to at best hurt her and, at worst, to terminate.
And his instincts were true. Feeling safe of any possibility of Sasuke helping Hinata, Sasori prepared to trap the Hyuuga. The girl expected a direct assassination and her pride as warrior would prevent of her of running or calling for help until the next stage of Sasori's plan was ready. He had dodged several strikes from her firsts and slowly created several wounds in her arms and legs and chest, that would slowly drain Hinata of strength. Though her will was admirable, was her certainty that the enemy in front of sought her end that provided Sasori with the means to capture her.
Sasori also had to dodge several objects and cut through Hinata's apron. Sasori particularly favored the wound he had created on her breasts: the slow fall of little drops of blood created the illusion of a lactating mom, mixing eroticism and horror all together. Sasori nevr considered himself of an oedipal kind. No, it was more of a maternophilia of the non-incestuous kind. A more rudimentary person would call him a "milf-lover".
Finally realizing how much blood she was losing and how ineffective the attacks of her opponent were, the busty teenager began to wonder what were his opponent's real objectives. Realizing she was realizing his strategy, Sasori acted quickly and activated the expansion mechanisms of the doll. The mechanic tool became large enough for her head to hit the ceiling, and her abdomen and chest opened to reveal the compartment where Hinata would be confined until Sasori met Deidara outside the village. Hinata tried to run away, but the now giant arm of the doll pushed her inside, breaking her hips as her back hit the wood. Hinata coughed blood and began to scream as the gaping opening closed, imprisoning her into the darkness.
Sasuke was still crawling through the corridor when the doll crashed through several walls to finally hit the street. Seeing Hinata's absence through the giant hole in the kitchen, Sasuke finally stood up and ran towards the doll, adrenaline moving his muscles despite the pleas of his jaw for a doctor. When he finally saw the street, the puppet was a few dozens of meters up the street, drilling the ground with a drill who looked human for a distance, and was in fact Sasori's current puppet body.
The Uchiha jumped on the street, and saw several Waterfall ninjas approaching and attacking the puppet, but its armor easily resisted all of their attacks, as did the drill. The hole was opened towards the sewers without breaks and the puppet jumped in, along with his tool, that was actually Sasori.
They followed the puppet through the sewers, unaware of the trap waiting for them just before the opening towards the river. They launched weapons and jutsus towards the puppet but it was unstoppable. Just as the giant stepped past the point where the unseen mine have been planted by Deidara hours before, the mines exploded, making the ceiling fall on top of their heads, crushing most of their bodies in deadly fashion. Sasuke somehow survived, with broken bones and bleeding from all possible orifices and even new ones, moaning hopeless for his love's name. "Hiiii-naaaa-taaa".
The puppet, otherwise, swam swiftly through the river, passing stealthily through the village's limits, its prey firmly in its grasp, helpless. A few minutes later emerged from the river, and Sasori transformed his body from a modified driller back into the humanoid form. Deidara was there, already waiting with a bird, and laughing at him. "So what a daring escape, eh? How many liters of urine you had to swallow?" Sasori was indifferent. "Grab the girl. I'm gonna take a while, I must dispose of the puppet in a way they must not be able to track me by smell". Pushing a scroll out of his pocket, he immediately summoned a similar looking puppet. "Wow, you have several copies of yourself. Do you do naughty things with it?" Sasori answered stoically. "Sometimes Deidara, you remind me of why making your partner Kakuzu was immediately considered a bad idea".
Deidara just kept laughing, while Sasori opened the puppet, grabbed Hinata's limp body, and put her into the tail of Deidara's bird. Without saying anything more, Deidara flew away. Sasori watched it, praying Deidara don't would get caught. Then he caught on the irony of an immortal praying for any gods. Or at least, an irony he believed it existed. He then approached his replacement body, took off his fleshy core and put on the replacement. His dirty body stopped moving as his replacement began to move. Sasori then sighed. "My beautiful art. Oh, how horrible is this world where they have to be destroyed instead of appreciated for centuries to come".
While that happened, Sasuke agonized under hundreds of rocks, his body horribly mangled, reduced to a parody of the human figure. His mouth couldn't produce any sound, but, if that was possible, only sounds of intense agony would be leaving his body. If it wasn't for the Waterfall ninjas quickly removing the rocks above him, not for his sake, but to retrieve the body of the dead, he would be also joining them. In his intense state of pain, his mind was trying to ran away from reality, and visions of his mother and father came to mind. Visions of comfort, of a past where he lived in peace. And in the middle of those, there were younger memories, memories of the first time he met Hinata.
He was just recuperating from his second fight with Naruto, on the Valley of the End. He remembered Naruto punching him in the face and nothing much else since weeks beforehand. A blonde woman he didn't remember being the Hokage, Tsunade, have told him his memories would slowly coming back. He managed to overheard her and Kakashi commenting about how Sasuke was "nothing like he was before" and, in Kakashi's words, "much nicer". That got him a reprimand of Tsunade, but Sasuke knew little about his past self to truly lament the loss of it. He also got constant visits from Sakura, but the girl also treated him like he was different, and so began to become more absent.
A lonely man is a curious one, and though his face still needed healing, Sasuke was able to walk finely. At this point, he began to walk around, seeking anything of interest. Not one of the disease or ill people made him pay attention to their lives, no matter how close to death. Instead, he suddenly noticed a shadow who constantly passed by his room to then stand around the adjacent one. And it seemed to be a feminine curve, who generated extra interest in his mind. Maybe something in his nether regions made him more attracted to her than as a simple curiosity. Like a hunter attracted to a prey who he has an exclusive hunger for, dismissing other animals as uninteresting.
He finally slowly walked towards her after five nights, slowly and sneakily, to see her stand before the open door to his neighbour. Her breasts were still flat at that age, but her beauty was already like of a striking spear. But her eyes were like one of deep sadness, like a homesick sailor who can only see the land from afar, missing his lover. Sasuke looked at the source of her admiration, a rogue, even more wounded than him face, belonging to someone with bright orange hair and unusual whisker marks on his face. His mouth was agape open, moaning, as Sakura sat atop of him, trying to hold back her pleasure as to not alert anybody else to her presence. Yet, she completely failed to spot the sad figure just outside, as did the blonde boy.
Sasuke raised his eyebrow, his mind trying to quickly assemble the concept of not only one, but two attractive females feeling attraction towards Naruto's, ahn, unique figure. Trying to puzzle those things together brought him dizziness, and he decided to sit just a few centimetres from where Hinata was, on the same bench. Hinata felt the shift in pressure, and as she turned her eyes, almost scared, she saw Sasuke's half-healed face, still in need of cosmetic surgery. Not being able to detect his presence beforehand, and his unusual appearance looking like the source of endless nightmares give how disfigured it looked, Hinata couldn't resist the instinct of calling for help, that she did in the loudest way possible: screaming.
