Courtyard

"What am I going to do? Lisa won't even let me talk to her. I should have known I couldn't pull off this stupid prince wish." Dean said.

Sam struggled with his elephant paws to open a banana. He squished it, and the banana squirts into his eye. He then tossed the banana peel into a heaping pile of the peals.

"So move!" Castiel said to Carpet. Carpet did, knocking a black piece off the board. "Hey. That's a good move." As Rodney Dangerfield. "I can't believe it-I'm losing to a rug."

"Castiel, I need help." Dean said.

Castiel spoke as Jack Nicholson. "All right, sparky, here's the deal. You wanna court the little lady, you gotta be a straight shooter, do ya follow me?"

"What?" Dean said.

Castiel was back to normal, wearing a mortarboard. He pointed out his words on a blackboard. "Tell her the...TRUTH!"

"No way! If Lisa found out I was really some crummy street rat, she'd laugh at me. He

put on his turban, which lit up as Castiel.

"A woman appreciates a man who can make her laugh!" Castiel said.

Dean pulled the chain turning off the light. Castiel came out holding the real turban. "Al, all joking aside, you really oughtta be yourself."

"Hey, that's the last thing I want to be. Okay, I'm gonna go see her. I gotta be smooth, cool, confident. How do I look?" Dean said.

"Like a prince." Castiel said.

Dean flew up to the balcony on Castiel. Lisa was on her bed sighing. Karima was by her side.

"Princess Lisa?" Dean said.

Karima looked up and growled.

"Who's there?" Lisa said.

"It's me-Prince Dean." Dean said.

"I do not want to see you." Lisa said.

"No, no, please princess. Give me a chance." Dean said. Karima growled and advanced on him.

"Just leave me alone." Lisa said.

"Down kitty!" Dean said.

Over the edge of the balcony, Castiel was watching with Carpet below.

"How's our beau doing?" Castiel said.

Carpet cut his neck with his finger.

"Good kitty, take off. Down kitty." Dean took off his turban to brush Karima away.

Lisa looked at him thinking she had seen him before. "Wait, wait. Do I know you?"

Dean quickly replaced his turban. "Uh, no, no."

"You remind me of someone I met in the marketplace." Lisa said.

"The marketplace?" Dean said. A bee buzzed around his head. "I have servants that go to the marketplace for me. Why I even have servants who go to the marketplace for my servants, so it couldn't have been me you met."

Lisa looked disappointed. "No, I guess not."

"Enough about you, Casanova. Talk about her! She's smart, fun, the hair, the eyes. Anything-pick a feature!" Castiel said as a bee.

"Um, Princess Lisa? You're very..." Dean said.

"Wonderful, glorious, magnificent, punctual!" Bee said.

"Punctual!" Dean said.

"Punctual?" Lisa said.

"Sorry." Bee said.

"Beautiful." Dean said.

"Nice recovery." Bee said.

"Hmm. I'm rich too, you know." Lisa said.

"Yeah!" Dean said.

"The daughter of a Sultan." Lisa said.

"I know." Dean said.

"A fine prize for any prince to marry." Lisa said.

"Uh, right. Right. A prince like me." Dean said.

"Warning! Warning!" Bee said.

"Right, a prince like you. And every other stuffed shirt, swaggering, peacock I've met!" Lisa said.

"Mayday! Mayday!" Bee said.

"Just go jump off a balcony!" Lisa turned and walked away.

"What?" Dean said.

"Stop her! Stop her! Do you want me to sting her?" Bee said.

"Buzz off!" Dean said.

"Okay, fine. But remember-bee yourself!" Bee buzzed into his turban.

"Yeah, right!" Dean said.

"What!?" Lisa said.

"Uh, you're right. You aren't just some prize to be won." Dean looked disappointed. "You should be free to make your own choice." Lisa and Karima looked at each other in confusion. "I'll go now." He stepped up on the ledge and dropped off.

"No!" Lisa said.

Dean poked his head up from over the edge. "What? What?"

Now Lisa was amazed. "How-how are you doing that?"

She looked over the edge and saw the Carpet.

"It's a magic Carpet." Dean said.

"It's lovely." Lisa said. Carpet took Lisa's hand with a tassel.

"You, uh, you don't want to go for a ride, do you? We could get out of the palace, see the world." Dean said.

"Is it safe?" Lisa said.

"Sure. Do you trust me?" Dean said.

Lisa looks at him at the saying of that all-important line. "What?"

Dean extended his hand as before. "Do you trust me?"

Lisa got a sly grin on her face. "Yes."

She took his hand and got up on Carpet. It zoomed into the sky, knocking them both into sitting positions. Lisa looked back and sees Karima looking up at her questioningly. She gasped as they flew over the palace wall and into the sky.

They zoomed down over a river, apparently the Nile, for beyond the ship's sails are the Great Pyramids. They waved at a worker sculpting the complete nose of the Sphinx. He smiles, but chiseled too much and broke off the front section of the nose.

They flew alongside wild horses running. Lisa pet one of them.

They flew through Greece, where Dean grabbed an apple from a tree and rolled it down his arm to Lisa, who was now sure she was dealing with Dean, not Prince Dean.

Carpet hovered along over a lake, and there was the reflection of the moon in the lake. Fireworks burst and the couple was at a Chinese New Year celebration, sitting on a rooftop.

"It's all so magical." Lisa said.

"Yeah." Dean said.

Lisa looked at him and decided to burst the bubble. 'It's a shame Sam had to miss this."

"Nah. He hates fireworks." Dean said. Carpet looked up realizing what is happening. "He doesn't really like flying either." And now Dean realized it. "That is...oh no!"

Lisa pulled off his turban. "You are the boy from the market! I knew it. Why did you lie to me?"

"Lisa, I'm sorry." Dean said.

"Did you think I was stupid?" Lisa said.

"No!" Dean said.

"That I wouldn't figure it out?" Lisa said.

"No. I mean, I hoped you wouldn't. No, that's not what I meant." Dean said.

"Who are you? Tell me the truth!" Lisa said.

"The truth?" Dean looked at Carpet who waved him on, giving up hope. "The truth...the truth is...I sometimes dress as a commoner to escape the pressures of palace life." Carpet slumped down in defeat. "But I really am a prince!" The feather on his turban fell down over his eyes.

"Why didn't you just tell me?" Dean said.

"Well, you know, um...royalty going out into the city in disguise, it sounds a little strange, don't you think?"

"Not that strange." Lisa said.

She flicked up the feather and cuddled with him. Carpet put a tassel under his "chin" and looks mystified.

Balcony

Dean and Lisa returned. Carpet formed a set of steps and she descended. Dean then descended just below the balcony.

"Good night, my handsome prince." Lisa said.

"Sleep well, princess." Dean said.

They slowly leaned forward to kiss, but Carpet bumped him up and they kissed sooner than expected. She walked away slowly then turned and looked at him. Finally she entered her room through the curtain.
