chapter 11 enjoy
They didn't have to wait long before Jason came out, inviting them in.
"Laki, mind keeping an eye on them while we go in the other room?"
"No problem Natsu."
Jason Led them to a private room for their interview.
"First, I have to ask. Why is Natsu here?"
They all traded glances before Bisca nodded.
She carefully unwrapped the blanket around the sleeping Asuka, revealing her hair color.
Jason's eye widens at the size of the dinner plates.
They gave him a few minutes to process what he's seeing.
He then looks back and forth between all three of them.
"Let's start off with the pink hair?"
"Well, to start off last year, Bisca and I went on a job that ended with me on death doorstep," He couldn't finish.
"I manage to get him back to the guild. For three days, he struggled to live."
"That when I was doing a visit to fairy tail."
"On that day, we had Porlyusica come in to try and save him.
"We thought it was too late for me!"
"That's when Porlyusica notices me. Where we learned powerful wizards like me have incredible strong Life forces."
"Hold it...are you saying you gave up some of your life force to save him, Natsu!"
"That's what happened."
"One side effect was Alzack eye turning green and getting few of Natsu mannerism."
"And clearly, the part of me he got was passed down to Asuka."
Asuka was just waking up from her nap, revealing her emerald green eyes.
"Is that all there is to this story?"
"Apparently, from what Porlyusica said, I'm her Blood uncle even through me, and Alzack are not related at all."
Jason was writing this all down, making sure not to leave a single detail out.
They continue the interview for another hour or so before calling it a day.
"Well, That should be everything unless there is anything else?"
"How exactly are you going to spin this, Jason?" Natsu said with a glare ushering to Asuka.
Bisca and Alzack gave glares of their own, causing sweat to roll down the reporter's brow.
They continued their glares for a solid minute before Asuka started crying.
"She needs a Diaper Change" Natsu tapped his nose.
"I'll be right back," Bisca said before leaving the three men.
Now it was Natsu and Alzack vs. Jason.
Jason, of course, was even more scared now that the mother and daughter had left.
"Ok fine, I won't twist this to our own means!"
"I find that hard to believe after the story you published about Laki and me!" He said with a sneer.
"Ok, I won't spin it that way. You have my word!"
"Good because if you do, I'll be sure to redecorate this building," Natsu said with an evil grin backed up by Alzack grin.
Yep, another mannerism he got from Natsu confirming the story the reporter just heard.
Around this time, Bisca finally came back. "will that be all, Jason?"
"Yes, that is everything I needed to know," he said in haste.
Bisca let out a giggle at this, knowing what Natsu and Alzack must have done.
With the interview over, they left when they met up with Laki and the other. She was the first to speak.
"So, how was the interview?"
"It wasn't to the bad course I made sure not to make the same mistake when they did the story about us," he said with a grin as his arm was wrapped around her waist.
She giggled at this, resting her head on his shoulder.
Seeing the two, Bisca and Alzack traded glances.
"Natsu as a thankyou for coming out here. We like to return the favor and take these three to see the city," Bisca said with a grin as she winked at the two.
Alzack glanced at Natsu's arm, causing the two to share a grin,
"Really, that would be amazing, Minerva, Sting, Rogue. What do you say? We almost forgot you three," he looks to the three exceeds.
"That would be nice," the three teens said, backing up their companions.
Mr. and Mrs. Connell left Natsu and Laki to themselves.
"Looks like we get the alone time we've been wanting for a while," he wipers husky into his mates ear.
She just grinned in response before they headed to their hotel room.
They spent the next couple of hours having sex before calling it a day.
After about an hour of resting, they took a shower, making sure to get one more round in.
By the time Connell returned, the sun was touching the horizon.
"Thank you for doing this for us, Bisca and Alzack," Natsu thanked.
"No problem Natsu, did you six have fun?"
"Yes, it was nice to see what the city has to offer," Minerva said, getting a nod from her Sting and Rogue plus exceeds.
Three weeks later
Two weeks ago, Jason published the story on three of them about baby Asuka.
It stayed true to his word, not twisting the story in the slightest.
The world reaction concerning Natsu giving up his life force was both surprising someones would do that and heartwarming at the same time.
Of course, being a former member of fairy tail, it wasn't too big of a surprise concerning Natsu.
Asuka inheriting some of Natsu traits definitely cause for concern knowing Natsu's tendencies.
But overall, it raises everyone's opinion of Natsu since he gave up part of himself to help someone in need.
And finally, there was widespread speculation of how baby Asuka will grow up to be since she has a part of Natsu in her.
The gang was lounging about at their campsite in the early morning hours.
Things were quiet, but Natsu's mind was elsewhere.
For whatever reason, Laki seemed distant from him over the past week.
It was concerning for him, he tried asking her about it, but she would just brush it off as a woman thing.
He didn't have time to dwell as his communication lacrima was going off.
He pulls it out only to be met with Jura. "Natsu, we have an emergency.
I need you and the twin slayers help right away."
"Hold up, what's going?" this got everyone's attention.
"There's no time right now doranbolt, who I know you don't like, is going to teleport you to me for a quick break down.
Just in the nick of time, Doranbolt showed up, grabbing Natsu, Sting, and Rogue, leaving the girls and exceeds to themselves.
"I wonder what that could be?" Minerva stated.
"Well, whatever it is, it can't be good," Happy said with a concerned look in his eye.
With Jura
Within Moments Natsu and his Shadow and white counterpart landed with the great Jura and Neir before them.
"What going on Jura, you wouldn't have brought me here if it wasn't important?" he demanded
"A new weapon created by the council has gone berserk. I tried contacting the other wizard saints, but they're all busy!"
"So, what's the plan?"
"I'll take each of you to Golem, that what they're called, each of you has to either destroy it or hold off long enough till someone else can stop it." he eyes the two young players for that last part.
"What do we know about them?" Natsu shouts
"We don't have time. Doranbolt takes Natsu and the apprentices to their golem. Nier and I will handle the two closest!"
"Understood!" he grabbed hold of the boy and disappeared. A few moments later, he grabbed Natsu.
When they finally landed, he saw a giant creature looking to be made of rock.
"Doran bolt, I want you to keep an eye on Sting and Rogue. Together they can handle just about anything thrown to them. But if one of them is taken out,"
"I understand if there is over their head, I'll get them out of there if need be!"
"Thank you," he said before racing to his target as doranbolt went back to the twin slayers.
As Natsu approached his golem, he could feel its magic in the air. "Great, I had to get one that uses lightning."
The golem in question looked to be made of rock.
Then it activated when it was done, he got a full view of its body.
Its core chest area was a standard cylinder, the head was vaguely human with what looks like the helmet.
All its limbs were basically shaped like cylinders, all held together by lightning.
He assumed the remaining Golems were the same as this, but the limbs were held by the respective elements.
Neir got wind, Sting and Rogue were Earth, and Jura was water, not a good matchup for any of them.
But that is what happens when you are in a rush.
"Lazarus thinks you can give me a boost," he crawls out from his scarf.
"I'll do my best, Natsu but be wary theirs something dark about this creature. I just can't explain it."
"HEY UGLY OVER HERE!" Lazarus just sweat drops at his slayer words.
It did the trick getting the lightning golem attention.
A few seconds later, Natsu could feel dark energy radiating off the golem.
Lazarus used all his power to boost Natsu's strength.
Who would have thought separating his inner dragon out would give him a much-needed power boost when the time comes.
The golem gave his fierce glare before shouting.
"FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" he shouts, unleashing a torrent of fire bathing the golem in his fire.
The golem let out a cry of pain before using his lighting to make a pseudo force field blocking the flames.
"This could be harder than I thought?"
"YA THINK!"
With Sting and Rogue
Sting just did a backflip as the earth golem punched the ground, letting out a growl in frustration.
Only to be nailed in the back by a shadow dragon roar.
Sting used the opportunity to nail him with a roar of his own.
Then the beast struck at Rogue only to hit the dirt. Then a shadow came out of the impact creator, zipping around before finding a place to reform.
"That was too close. Thank you, Skiadrum, for teaching me shadow magic."
He goes back into the shadow, drawing the golem's attention as Sting continues to fire various white dragon slayer magic.
The twin slayers take turns distracting and attacking their golem.
With Jura
Jura is facing off against the water golem that, for some reason, had a feminine appearance.
He didn't have time to dwell as he blocked an attack by the water golem through his way.
But he didn't make it easy eroding away half the earth he sent his way.
Then with his magic causing the ground around the golem to sink, forming a small abyss between them.
Round and round they go back and forth, neither giving in or showing signs of exhaustion.
With Neir
Unlike Natsu and twin slayers, his golem has a feminine appearance like his fellow wizard saint.
Neir probably got the best match up facing the wind golem.
Every cyclone she sent, he was able to dispel with his lightning.
After all, lightning can cut through air magic relatively easily.
But she was also very flexible in her movements.
But he was a master at lightning magic, meaning he has unraveled speed.
He refused to let this wind golem outpace him.
Charging up his magic "LIGHTNING DEVIL DISCHARGE!" a giant ball of purple lightning forms overhead, getting the golem attention.
It only took a few seconds to gather it now, he released as countless bolts of lightning raining down on the golem.
The wind golem wasn't fast or agile enough to dodge as the lightning came down.
It let out a fierce cry of agony as the strikes kept coming.
Capitalizing off it cry, Neir holds out his hand above him, "LIGHTNING DEVIL SPEAR!" light began to arc back and forth from his hand before forging a spear.
Using all his strength, Neir hurls the bolt at the golem, only for it to dodge the attack with a smirk.
Neir had a smirk of his own before pointing to the spear.
The golem following the spear only had a look of fear in its eye as the bolt headed straight to the ball lighting.
It collided, recharging his discharge spell only to rain down more bolts on it.
"LIGHTING DEVIL PARALYZING STRIKE!" with lightning infuse fist, he struck the golem right between the eyes, shattered its head.
When he landed on the ground, he suddenly bolted back a distance.
The golem exploded into a vast wind ball, tearing up the ground and trees around it before dissipating.
"My Golem is destroyed now to see how others are doing. But, strangely, there was something oddly familiar about these golems," Neir disappeared in a crack of lightning.
With Natsu
Natsu landed a fair way staring down his golem.
He looks to a nearby pond seeing his reflection in the water.
He was in Dragonforce; it was the only way to brush off most of the lightning sent his way.
He no longer spazzed out when he struck, but it did slow his speed down a bit.
The sucky parts of his magic reserve are half what they were when he started.
Summoning all his strength, Natsu's body erupted in flames before bolting toward the golem.
"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" a bright yellow-orange flame covers his fist.
The golem builds up magic in his right arm before meeting Natsu's fist head-on.
When the two collide, the area erupted in fire and lightning as the two fought for dominance.
To the golems fear, his arm shattered into pieces as Natsu pushed right through.
"TAKE THAT UGLY!" he taunts.
The golem let out a fierce roar as it concentrated its magic in its lost limb.
To Natsu's horror, as the remains of the arm's he destroyed started to reform into a first.
It wasn't complete. The rubble was loosely held together by the golem lightning.
"Great, now what" then his whole body started screaming in pain.
His Dragonforce was fading, his scale falling off.
"Dammit, no Dragonforce, and I'm almost out of magic. What do I do!" Then a crazy thought came to him.
"Natsu, you can't be serious. It could kill you!"
"I KNOW, but if I don't do something, I'll die anyway, and I don't want
Laki, finding me dead."
"Ugly bet you can't hit me right here," he points to his upper chest area.
The golem had the look of malice in its eyes before unleashing a massive bolt of lightning.
"Sure hope this works."
"Finger crossed"
Natsu opened his mouth wide open, inhaling the lightning before swallowing it down.
Natsu's body was screaming in pain as he grabbed at his neck, trying to power up the lightning.
The golem just laughed at the poor wizard before Natsu's body erupted in lightning.
He looks to the slayer to see a dragon behind him formed of fire and lightning.
It took a step backward out of fear.
Fire and lightning dance around Natsu's body as he stairs the golem down with dragon eyes.
With Sting and Rogue
The two sat in the ground, exhausted beyond belief, as the remains of the earth golem lay around them.
"Natsu was right about you too," Doranbolt said, looking at the remains of the destroyed golem.
"AYE, SIR," they shout in unison.
"Color me impressed. I thought I'd have to bail you two out," Neir declared after landing beside Doronbolt.
"What about Jura? Did you stop his golem?"
"No came here after defeating mine, figured these two needed the most help. Glad to see I was wrong!"
"What about Natsu?" Sting said weakly.
"I'll check on Jura doranbolt check on Natsu," he said before disappearing in a crack of lightning.
With Jura
The battlefield between him and the water golem has turned into a giant mud pit as each countering the other.
When Neir landed, he stood beside Jura.
"I figure you'd be done by now?"
"Kinda hard when your opponent uses water magic!"
"I see that...need any help?"
"I would greatly appreciate that, and how are the others?"
"I haven't checked on Natsu yet, but Sting and Rogue manage to come out on top, and of course, they were teetering on edge on consciousness when met up with them."
"Hmm, I'll try and keep it distracted. If you can hit it with lightning, it might be enough to overload the joints holding the body parts together."
"Let's hope you're right."
Using his remaining power, Jura causes massive slabs of the earth to prop up before closing in on the water golem.
Neir charged up his magic. "LIGHTNING DEVIL JUDGMENT STRIKE!" he slams his hand on the ground sending massive amounts of lightning into the ground.
All the lightning converged on the golem before bursting from the ground in one massive pillar of electricity.
The water golem let out a scream of agony before it burst its massive expansion steam.
It sent not only its body parts but the slabs Jura created in all directions.
"Now, all that's left is to check on Natsu and hope he defeats him."
"Based on the process of elimination, he should either be fighting the lightning golem."
With Natsu
"LIGHTNING FIRE DRAGON FIRING HAMMER!" he brings down massive fire and lightning fist right on top of the golem shoulder, destroying it second arm beyond repair.
The golem let out a force roar in anger as it used its lighting to pull the piles of rubble; it calls arms back together.
It was clear to Natsu it was running out of magic since it took longer to regenerate its limbs.
"That it's time to finish this, DRAGON SLAYER SECRET ART CRIMSON LOTUS EXPLODING LIGHTNING BLADE." he unleashes twin whips of magic, one lightning the other fire.
The lightning whips ripped away the lightning used as the golem's joints as the flames turn the stone to glass.
He did this over and over again, evenly melting the body into one giant piece.
"One more time, LIGHTNING FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" he smashed the head and body to pieces before all its residual magic combined into one big ball of lightning.
Doing what dragon slayers do best, he inhaled as much as possible before it exploded, sending him flying backward.
"You actually did it, Natsu!"
"Of course, I did Lazarus have little faith in me next time."
"Whatever you say….and it seems you can power up off lightning now."
"That can be useful. I'm not looking forward to Laki's reaction to me eating lightning."
"Don't remind me," they both cringed at the thought of her.
Suddenly Doranbolt appeared with Neir landing beside him.
"Looks like you won, Natsu."
"Of course, I did. Do you know who you're talking to, Doranbolt!" he said as he willed himself back to his feet.
"Time to get you and the boys back to Laki and the others," just as Doranbolt is about to grab him.
The remains of the golem lighted up before a massive bolt of lightning shot into the sky before curving in the sky, going to a single point.
That's when they notice others what looked to be blue, brown, and green, ones all converging with the lighting.
"Don't tell me we have one more to deal with," Neir roared.
"Natsu, you up to fight another one?" Dornabolt asked, looking at the dragon slayer.
What he saw was what can only be described as pure fear in his eyes.
"Natsu, what wrong? Don't tell me you're out of juice!"
"T-t-those magic's are converging-" he trailed off.
"We know we have to move now."
"There converging on….Laki and the others..." Neir and Doranbolt's expression morphed into fear.
"We gotta get them the hell out of there!" Donanbolt grabs both of them, teleporting to the girls.
When they landed, Laki, Minerva, and exceeds were being stared down by a massive golem wielding not only the four elements they just stopped...but fire as well.
It was three times the size of the one they just destroyed.
He brought down its giant leg down on the small group intending to end their lives.
They couldn't move, being paralyzed from the fear, None more so than Laki.
Just when the foot was about to hit them, it was stopped dead in its tracks.
They willed themselves look for cause only to see Natsu on his knees with the foot lying on his shoulder.
"Get out of here now. I don't know how much longer I can hold it," Natsu said through gritted teeth.
the look in their eyes told them they don't want to. "I SAID, GET OUT HERE NOW!" The first to recover was Laki, quickly dragging Minverva with before running back to the exceeds.
The whole time the golem was increasing its strength to crush the slayer.
With his remaining strength, he pushed the golem off before collapsing to the ground.
He punches the ground in frustration" Damnit! I don't have enough magic to stop this things" he looks back and forth between the golem and the others, not knowing what to do.
Elsewhere
"Lazarus, there has to be something you can do for Natsu!" Igneel roared.
"I'm sorry, but I can't. Not only is Natsu out of magic, but his body is at its limit!"
Igneel let out a fierce dragon roar in anger as he watched the golem charging up its attacks.
"There may be away, but you won't like it."
"Please don't tell me he'll have to use that power."
"Unless you have a better idea, we don't have a choice unless you want your son to die!"
"I'm sorry, Natsu, I wish it didn't have to come to this," Igneel said with sorrow.
With Porlyusica
Porlyusica was busy with another experiment to further her medical knowledge.
Suddenly the unshakable feeling of darkness and evil washed over her.
She looks to the box containing the lacrima.
Suddenly all the seals on it we're burned away before the lacrima floated up.
The fluid inside turned to what could only be described as a ball with ultra-thin spikes kissing the container's inside.
One spike suddenly pierced through the container, with the rest following through the opening.
It went straight to the ground, burrowing into the earth before disappearing altogether.
"This isn't good!" was all she could say.
The black fluid raced through the earth, wanting to reunite with its host.
With Natsu
Natsu lay on the ground as the golem brought down its fist on top of him.
Suddenly a new dark power was welling up inside of him at an astonishing rate.
Tainted black flames erupted from his body before unleashing this new power of the golem.
On second, the golem's fist is close to killing Natsu.
The next, Its arm is sliced clean off with black flames burning away at its shoulder.
It looks to its severed arm to see the same black flames consuming it.
It locks eyes with Natsu only to pitch-black eye with red irises.
