Jake's eyes widened from what Gina had just said to him.

"What?", he asked in confusion.

Gina was in silence and was looked away from him thinking this was a bad idea. What she just said to him shocked him but did not scare him. Gina turned around to Jake. The two were drawn to the empty swingset. Gina moved to sitting and Jake had hopped onto the seat that was empty, right next to Gina. Then he looked over at Gina,

"My Dad also left me.",shared Jake.

Gina's eyebrows then lifted up to what Jake had said.

"W-why did he leave?",asked Gina surprised.

She couldn't believe Jake had experienced something that was so similar to her.

"My mommy told me that he was seeing someone else.",explained Jake.

"Oh I see.",nodded Gina.

Jake then looked at Gina,

"Hey, at least we have something in common! We understand each other right?" ,asked Jake.

Then, Gina, all of a sudden for the first time started smiling at Jake.

"Your definitely right.",said Gina.

"In that case I guess that makes us friends.",pointed out Jake.

"What do you mean?",asked Gina,

"We have something in common so that makes us friends."said Jake.

Gina was silent for a few minutes. Then, she looked back at Jake.

"I guess your right then." ,agreed Gina.

"So friends?",asked Jake.

"Friends.",repeated Gina, as she reached her hand out to shake Jake's hand.
