Disclaimer: I obviously do not own Winx Club
Yesterday I uploaded chapter 10. Finally crossed that barrier. This is actually the second story that I have ever written with 10 or more chapters. Anyway I hope you liked chapter 10 it is the longest chapter I have ever written. Now I just recently for fun of it looked at the story read stats. And I have to say they are way lower than it used to be just 4 months ago. I don't know if it's because the Winx Club fandom is declining or more and more people are just disappointed with this story. Maybe both. I can understand especially with chapter 7 kind of being a long world building chapter without that much of a plot in it. But that doesn't explain how chapter rewritten chapter 3 and chapter 8 way more views than chapter 9 and 10. Is it the Trix direction? Has the interest in winx club just fallen and fallen? Is it my sometimes chaotic update schedule? If you can think of why then please. Answer me with a pm or a review. Especially if you are a Winx Club author, who has at least in early 2020. And off course has also written a chapter recently. If you have seen a decline in views, due to fandom declining then please. Especially you PM. I would like to know is it because of me or because of the fandom. But don't worry I won't be discontinuing this story or anything. I'm somewhat too invested into this already. And as long as there are some people interested, that's good enough. After all I did the original 3 chapters with way less people viewing this story. So why should I stop now? Now to the story.
It's been two weeks from the day I had helped the Trix to steal the codex. During those two weeks, not only have I had bunch of near panic attacks. That kind of happens when you take any gaze staff sends you as "Does she know what I did?". But I have also spent a lot of my free time researching the thing, that I had helped to steal.
And... nothing. The term codex is such a generic term that searching it on the internet gives you way too many results. And none of them are the codex I saw. I also checked books about magical artifacts and codexes in downtown Magix's library. Same thing absolutely nothing. Is it the generic term? Or perhaps the information is censored. And the Trix did say to me, that knowing the name would be absolutely useless. I'm starting to believe that they weren't lying to me, when they said that. The information about it seems to be censored.
Part of me thinks that maybe I can find answers if I search from Cloud Tower library. But I wouldn't dare to search that there. If the staff, Griffin or the pixie realize anytime soon, that the codex has been stolen. And I have conveniently been looking up info on it, in the library at the same time frame. They will figure out that I was part of it.
Still the fact that I don't know, why the Trix stole it has been bothering me. Knowing the Trix their intentions to use it are not noble. And right now I have no idea, why this codex was so valuable to them. What makes it so valuable that the Trix would be looking for it. Does it give them more power? After all that's why they stole Stella's ring a year ago. Maybe the codex gives similar powers.
Unfortunately the only thing I can come up with are theories. All I hope, is that I haven't doomed the magical dimension, to the clutches of the Trix. I don't think I can live with myself knowing, I helped them to take over the world or hurt some people really badly.
But I will be seeing them again tonight. That is if Icy truly keeps her word about training me to learn how to use the witch form. I still don't know if I truly want her training. Will she give proper instruction like Cloud Tower teachers? Or will she try to steer me to use very dark magic to shortcut my way to it?
But enough about them so far. I am worried about what happened during the steal between me and Mirta. Ever since that day I have been avoiding her. But I have noticed that she has been avoiding me as well. We haven't talked to each other at all. Not even a word. Which begs the question what was she doing there in the first place? And that truly makes me afraid.
Does she know what I did or does she only suspect? If she knows has she been talking with Griffin? Or is she keeping it to herself? Because if she knows and she tells, she would have effectively ruined my life. The optimistic part of me on the other hand thinks, that she was there for a personal reason. But it just sounds like wishful thinking. And I have been acting suspicious as hell.
And it makes me terrified. The thought of Mirta knowing and me getting caught. I... I looked up the punishment for stealing a magical artifact. I wouldn't get charged for stealing, they have special laws for stealing magical artifacts with varying levels of power. And I know that, the Trix aren't even bothering with low level stuff. The punishment for stealing a mid tier magical artifact is 10 years in prison minimum, with the maximum sentence being 20.
That was already terrible enough. But the artifact being so well hidden, was most likely a high powered one. And the high powered one is even worse. The punishment for stealing a high powered magical artifact is 1 year in omega dimension at minimum. With 3 being the maximum amount. At first I was somewhat glad that the sentence was so much shorter. What I did, would most likely result in the minimum sentence. So the math was simple. 1 year being locked away somewhere versus 10 years being locked away somewhere. 10 years sounded like an eternity, while 1 year sounded like something I could deal with. But that's what didn't make sense. Why would a mid tier artifact have worse punishment than a high tier?
That was until I searched what omega dimension was. And it was horrible. The omega dimension was a barren frozen wasteland. The prisoners would be frozen and transported there. However they would freeze them in a way, that the prisoner was still conscious the whole time. That meant if I was sent there, all I could do was think and see what's in front of me for 365 days. Soon I would lose my track of time and seeing as the only thing I can watch is a barren wasteland. That would mean the only thing I could do is think.
If I was there, I'd probably become insane. No. I would become insane. My own mind would soon become my biggest enemy. Then the Bloom that would return from the omega dimension would be a husk of her former self. I'd either become unresponsive, always deep within my own thoughts. To someone outside, I might even seem like a person, who inside is dead. Or I'd become unhinged. Hell bent on revenge and destruction. Destroying everything on my way. Like a feral animal, that needs to be put down.
Even imagining myself as something like that, made me shudder. It made me terrified, that the Trix had such power over. All they need to do is turn themselves in to authorities and escape. I would be sent to omega dimension, while they would be free. Icy said it to me. She could very well live on, as a wanted woman. I couldn't. I wasn't like Icy. And it makes me so afraid, that Mirta might have that power over me as well.
Had I known that, the punishment for stealing that codex, would be omega dimension. I most likely would have said no, even with everything Icy was threatening me with. I would have warned Mirta, Lucy and the Winx club of what the Trix might have done to them. Then I would have left the whole magical dimension back to Earth. So I could protect my parents, in case the Trix would act out on their threat. But it's too late for that
Due to both me and Mirta avoiding each other, me for the risk of her knowing and Mirta for her own reasons. Because of that me Mirta has become so distant from me. So that means right now the only friend I really have is Lucy. The Winx Club are old friends I haven't seen in a year. And I hope the day never comes, when I call Icy or any of the Trix members my friends. I shudder just thinking about it. Me being friends with the Trix. Just bring the memories of that nightmare I had, just before I left Alfea for good.
Speaking of Lucy again, right now I am with her in the hangout with her two other witch friends Lunilla and Tabitha. The two witch friends are, like Lucy very stereotypical. They fit most check boxes in terms of behavior and appearances, that Alfea fairies had told me about witches. That's probably the reason for these stereotypes. Either Cloud Tower witches want to act like this supposed perfect stereotypical witch or to be witch your personality was always leaning towards being a witch like this. Personally I think it's the former, since even I experience the peer pressure to act like a "proper witch".
"What's the worst thing ever, you have done to a fairy?" Lucy's friend asked all of us. We were playing a game where, we were just asking each other questions and we had to answer truthfully. So it was basically truth or dare without the dare part.
"You know what it is already Lunilla." Lucy responded to the witch that asked the question. "It's the same one you and Tabitha have as well. Remember that fairy that was spying on the Trix, in our cafe a year ago? The one who we ganged up on?" Lucy asks them and the blonde and purple haired witches nod at her question, with proud smirk.
"That's the one and I think I'm correct it's yours as well? Am I right?" Lucy asks the two witches again.
"Yep that's the one. I can't think anything worse than that." Tabitha says and Lunilla also nods.
Lunilla then looks at me. "What about Bloom here?" She asks me. "What's the worst thing you have done to a fairy?"
Tabitha scoffs at that question. "Oh please. Bloom here is a Mirta 2.0. I'll bet that she hasn't even hurt a fly, let alone a fairy." Oh how very wrong she is. If she only knew what I did with the Trix, she would be singing a different tune.
But I wasn't going to brag about hurting that one innocent fairy. Just because it would increase my popularity, with these witches. After all I'm ashamed of doing that to the fairy. I don't want to make it worse by bragging about it.
"Hey Bloom made the plan, that ruined that Alfea party happen." Lucy came in on a save. "A lot of fairies got hurt on that one."
That was something I wasn't proud of either. But it wasn't nearly as bad as the whole fairy incident. A ruined party that, where we went too far, was not anything compared to what I did to the fairy.
So trying to fight the urge to put my head down in shame, I responded with a timid voice. "Yeah. That one is the worst."
Just as Tabitha was about to ask the next question my phone let out a small beeb. I looked at it and on the screen it read, I got a new message from Icy.
"I gotta respond to this." I said standing up and left the hangout area to a more private area.
The message was a simple. There was a location for a spot in the forest. And more specifically the exact coordinates of the spot. Then there was the time I needed to arrive there, which was 6:30pm. And after that a simple "don't be late."
Looks like Icy did held on her end. Even though she really didn't have to train me. After all she could use the reason, that she needed to blackmail to get me to do the heist with her, as a reason why I shouldn't get a chance of getting training from her.
I knew I couldn't say no to Icy. So I sent her a simple message.
"I'll be there."
Walking through the forest, I was getting nearer to the spot. The sun was already down and while it wasn't pitch black yet. It didn't mean it wasn't hard to see where I was going. I should have brought a flashlight with me. Unfortunately using my fire here, could have very bad results. One movement wrong and I can cause a forest fire. And this training might take hours. By the time it's over, it's probably pitch black. Not only are some monsters active here during those times, I must use my fire despite the risk of causing a forest fire. I really need to ask Icy about that teleportation spell she and the Trix constantly use.
Clearing out the final branches, I finally reached the spot that, the three witches were on. All of them looked like they wanted to be anywhere else than here.
"You're late." Icy said with an almost threatening voice. "Not only were you late, you were 7 minutes late!" She said as her voice got more and more furious. "Seven minutes of waiting in this forest with absolutely nothing to do! Do you understand how lucky you are, that I'll still teach you pixie? DO YOU!" I winced at her words, as I turned into an absolute doormat. Something that I never previously saw myself as. But the Trix had gotten me into a such situation, where resistance seemed to only cause pain. So why do it?
"Well don't expect me to be nice or gentle about it. In fact this training is going to be the worst lesson you are ever going to endure. Because you have PISSED me off and you just happen to be the only thing we can vent our anger on here!" She shouted straight to my face.
"Now got anything to say about hmmm?" She said as she got even closer to me.
"I-I...I" I tried to say something to her but nothing got out.
"Oh shut up will you." Icy said straight back at me.
She then gave a frustrated sigh. "Now lets begin."
"First we have to realize how you earn the witch form. This is actually not that different from how pixies earn their first fairy forms. Expect unlike fairies where it doesn't take much skill and magical potential to unlock their first form. It's entirely the opposite for us witches. You need to be strong with dark magic in order to unlock your witch form." Icy explained and motioned Darcy.
Darcy picked up square shaped item, that was covered with black cloth, from the side and put it in front of me. "Now we'll need to see how powerful you are, so we know, what we are working with. Darcy reveal what's inside." Icy commanded the witch of illusions.
"With pleasure." Darcy said and removed the cloth.
What Trix had planned for me was horrible. It was a small cage. But it was what was inside, that made me want to throw up. Inside the cage was a small rabbit. An ordinary white rabbit unlike Kiko, who was a bit special. There wasn't anything wrong with the rabbit itself. The thing that made me want to throw up, was what I knew Trix wanted me to do to it.
"Kill it Bloom." Icy ordered with a voice so cold and indifferent, I started to question if her heart was made out of ice. "Use your strongest attack on it and end this miserable being." She continued. Only proving how cruel, the ice witch really was.
I knew the Trix were cruel. I knew the term heartless, was a perfect word to describe them. But this was a new level for them. I knew they liked to attack other Cloud Tower students, pull off pranks that went way too far, liked to hurt Alfea fairies in various ways and liked to manipulate people to cause chaos. But to do something so sick and disgusting, as killing animals for fun. That was something else. That was a level, even I couldn't see the Trix sink into. But they just did. Oh they just did. Maybe I thought they wouldn't sink to this was, because I didn't view them as monsters. I viewed them as quite evil and incredibly misguided people. But maybe there isn't any other word that can describe them other than monsters.
The rabbit in front of me reminded me of Kiko so much. Oh Kiko. To this day, I blame myself for his death. Sure it was a mistake. My magic just reacted differently to the fairy spell. But that still doesn't mean, it doesn't hurt. And now to think of that, I would need to kill this rabbit in front of me in cold blood. I couldn't do it. I could not. My heart wasn't made out of ice like Icy's.
"Well come on do it!" Icy ordered me. It didn't have any impact on me. I didn't raise my hand, I didn't prepare an attack no I cried. The tears started flowing, I could feel a lump in my throat and I just managed to hold back any sobs.
This seemed to infuriate Icy even further. "Come on crybaby, give me a break. It's just an animal. They die all the time!" She yelled at me with disgust. "Now pull through crybaby and kill it right now!" She yelled at even louder voice.
This caused me to raise my hand. It was like a reflex. Like Icy and rest of the Trix had trained me do exactly as told. A smirk formed to all of the three Trix's faces when they saw me raise my hand. Now all I needed to do was send a strong enough fireball and the rabbit would be dead. I would do like the Trix want me to do. Icy had managed to make me so afraid, I willed myself to send a fireball at the rabbit.
But nothing came.
Absolutely nothing.
Even with all the will I could muster to kill the animal, my body just refused. As if it didn't want to be responsible for killing an innocent animal. Once the Trix realized that I couldn't do it, Icy let out a growl. She looked very disappointed and pissed off at the same time. Stormy seemed to want to send me a lighting bolt out of anger. And Darcy's face was full of disappointment. She wasn't angry or frustrated just disappointed.
Icy stomped in front of me. Then without even looking at behind her, she sent out an ice beam at the rabbit freezing it in place. She then walked few steps in front of me, with a face full of anger and formed her hand into a fist. The ice formation of the rabbit crushed instantly, killing the rabbit instantly. Leaving behind only tiny shards of ice.
My reaction was to run towards the cage, where I could only look at the shards of ice, which previously had been the animal. I couldn't help but feel guilty for the animal. Oh if I could have stopped them from killing it. If I hadn't met Darcy at that dammed restaurant. None of this would have happened.
"Pathetic." Icy said as I stood up and faced her. "Couldn't even kill a pathetic animal. How disgusting." Her words made me want to punch her in the face.
"Now since you absolutely failed at that simple task, lets move forward. Lets have a practice test." She said as she started to walk around me. "Oh I know that you want to beat me up right now. I know you want to just want to set me on fire." She said and stopped in front of me. "Do it. I dare you. Fight me."
My hands had formed into fists. The rage was building inside me towards this woman. I unleashed the most powerful fireball I could throw at her. She dodged it instantly and so did the other members of the Trix, who the fireball would have hit as well.
"That's the best you got how about this." Icy said and sent an ice storm towards me. It almost caught me but I just moved out of the way.
I responded to it by sending a wave of fire. Icy ducked and the only thing the fire hit was the forest behind, which caught on fire. Exactly as I feared when I came here.
However I was too preoccupied to notice the damage I was causing. I was out for blood and didn't care what was happening outside that.
Icy sent an ice beam and it hit my right arm and froze it. I in turn powered up my right arm until the ice started melting. While the ice was still melting I sent a fireball with my left arm, that to distract Icy from stopping the process of melting the ice.
Icy sent out two ice beams and I ducked to avoid them. I sent out a fireball in response and Icy sent out an ice beam at it. They both collided and exploded mid air.
Then I remembered the dream I had, just before I left Alfea. How in that dream "me" defeated Stella. With my right hand finally melted, I sent out two fireballs one to the left and one to the right. I just as quickly sent one to up and one to down. Then quickly I moved my hands to the center and sent out a powerful fireball.
Icy then raised an ice shield, which the fireballs hit. The fireballs caused the shield to melt but none of them hit Icy. The ice witch then sent at me an another ice storm, which I dodged but it managed to snuff out the forest fire I caused.
She was toying with me. I had to put an end to it. I had to hit her. Running at her side I quickly sent a fireball at her and this time she didn't manage to dodge fast enough.
When the fireball hit her hand Icy stopped and looked furious. "I don't know what was worse. The fact that you hit me. Or the fact that attack was so weak!" She said with furry rising in her voice. She then sent an ice storm, which was twice the size of ice storms she had previously sent me.
I barely avoided that one. "It's time to stop playing and become serious! No more being nice to you!" Icy shouted with furry as four ice spikes were raised just beside me. One of them almost hit me.
This Icy was something I hadn't encountered. This was how powerful the ice witch truly was and I was outclassed.
I had to use everything if I were to defeat her. I'm a witch and I have to use every dark emotion, I felt about the ice witch. Every bit of fear, disgust, anger and hatred the name Icy caused. This ended with me sending the largest and most potent fireball I had ever sent.
Icy raised an ice shield and the fireball went right through hitting the ice witch in the process. Finally I did it. I defeated her. I could let out a huge sigh of relief.
That was until she stood up. Her face wasn't disappointed nor furious. She seemed proud and determined. "Finally some progress!" She cries at me. She then sends out her next attack.
All around me a huge ice formation started to form on the ground. I tried to jump but the ice formation caught my lower body. Trapping me there. I tried to move but I couldn't and both of my hands were frozen as well.
"But still a weakling." Icy said as she walks towards me with a smug face.
She then breaks the ice formation releasing me. "That was lesson one." She says and starts to walk away. "I knew you were weak, but I still expected more of you. You fight like a fairy not like a witch. If you want to become a strong witch ever, you need to learn to fight like one." She says as she continues to walk away.
"Stormy the book." Icy orders and Stormy pulls out a book she has in a bag. Icy takes the book and starts to walk towards me.
"You are too weak and too much like a fairy to even get a second lesson for now." She says and hands me the book. Ancient spells from Whisperia was the title. "That book contains some of the most darkest spells ever invented. Don't even contact us until you have learned at least 5 of them." She says.
"That's enough for a lessons. Come on lets get out." Icy says and she and the other Trix teleport away.
It's good that there won't be an another lesson. I don't have to deal with them at all. All I have to do is not learn any of those spells or at least contact Icy if I have. I could finally get away from this hell Icy had constructed for me. Not having to deal with more lessons from her.
Then why did a large part of me want to do exactly what she wants?
It's been two days since that training had happened. I read some of the spells on the book and Icy certainly didn't lie. It contained some of the most darkest and most messed up spells I had seen. I probably should have left it at that. Icy wasn't holding me at gunpoint, to learn 5 spells from the book. Then again maybe she was. There was a chance if I didn't contact Icy at some point she would contact me. Asking me if I learned 5 spells from the book and punishing me if I didn't.
That's at least what I told myself when I began trying out some of the spells. No I didn't try the really messed up things. Especially the ones that involved humans or animals in any way. I was glad that I found out, that there was an illusion spell on the book. When I first read it I wondered why Icy gave it to me. Because almost all of the spells were described in a way that made them look good. Revives dead trees, helps someone with burn wounds feel better about themselves etc. Once you took the illusion spell off, you got to see what they actually did. Probably to hide the spells from any prying eyes.
To think that I almost even used one on Mirta. Once I saw what the spell really did, I realize Mirta would have never forgiven me had I done that. I don't even want to think about that spell anymore. Only that it was extremely messed up and made by a witch equally messed up.
Eventually I came to the realization, that all of the spells were too noticeable to be used in Cloud Tower. So I ended up searching up a spot that I could train these spells. I decided to avoid the forest. Especially due to the nature of some of the spells. In the end I settled for an abandoned building on the outskirts of Magix.
The building had completely collapsed with only rubble left anymore. There was vegetation on the lot which was perfect, due to the fact that the spells I decided to use from the book mainly involved plantation. I know Flora wouldn't approve this at all, if she knew what I was doing. To her it would be a great tragedy about all the harm I'm causing to plants with these spells.
About the spells. Right now I have learned two of them. First one is the simplest and one of the most harmless out of the spells. It simply causes plants to die in an instant. I wouldn't mind using it more. I can even see an everyday use for it. Would be nice to use it on weeds. I hope that spells wasn't banned, because it was in this book.
The second one also involved plants but had a more sinister twist. Once you used it on a plant, the plant would become a mockery of it's former self. They would usually become harmful monsters. I off course destroyed every creation I happened to cause. Luckily I wouldn't need to use the spell again.
Right now I was learning the third one. Again far from the messed up spells there were. This one involved animals. By using this spell it would turn animals into feral and I could command them to attack anything I wanted to. I decided to use these on the crows that are near this building. Luckily I could stop the spell anytime and what's the worst thing that a crow can cause? Maybe peck someone and that's it.
Before I could use it though I heard footsteps and turned around. Lucy was walking towards the abandoned site with a cigarette in her mouth. Once she saw me, she threw the cigarette to the ground and crushed it with her right leg.
"I thought you said to Mirta you quit." I said to her as she walked towards.
She gave a somewhat defeated sigh. "It's easier said than done." She simply stated and walked next to me. Do they have nicotine gum here in Magical dimension? Maybe it could help her journey to quitting her vices. "What are you doing here?" She asked me.
"I could ask the same question from you." I stated.
"Well this has been my spot for over a year. I always like to come here, whether I want some peace or just want to went my anger or something." She explained and now I felt like I was intruding.
"Sorry I didn't know. I Didn't mean to intrude." I said and started walking towards the book and was willing to even leave.
"No no. I don't mind." She stated with her hands up. "So what are you doing here?"
I looked at the book and thought for a moment if I should tell her or not. In the end I decided to tell her. "Training my magic."
Lucy saw the book and walked towards it. She picked it up and I felt a little tense at that. What if she realized what the book contained? She closed the book and looked at the cover and didn't look surprised or shocked at all. I could let out a sigh of relief after that. Seemingly she doesn't know what book that is. Well that was until she started speaking and I couldn't prepare what she said.
"You do realize this fake. This book is a legend, with it supposedly containing so bad spells. That it is removed from even the most restricted sections of libraries. Some even speculate that all of the real versions of this have been destroyed. The only thing that's left anymore are fake replicas that consist of basic watered down spells." She explained me the history of what happened to the book. But how did the Trix get their hands on a real one?
"But there is a way to test it's authenticity. Removing the illusion from the book, that it has reveals the real words behind it." She said and then put the book down and started the spell, that I had used to reveal the real words.
Lucy initially had a look on her face, that once she would open the book she would simply say "See told you it was a fake.". That was until she opened the book and I saw her face turn into shock, her eyes widened and her mouth opened in astonishment.
"No way! No way!" She said and looked at the pages. Stunned that she saw the book in all of it's disgusting glory. "W-where did you find a real one?" Lucy asks in shock.
I couldn't say to her, that I got it from the Trix. So I had to use more cryptic language. "From a source." I simply stated.
"W-why would you even need this book. I mean look at some of these spells." She said and pointed at one. "Causes the victim to feel like they are burning alive for two hours." She read aloud one of the torture spells. "I didn't know, you were into learning messed up spells." She states.
"I use it to learn a witch form." I said in return. I didn't want her to think that I was into using any of the messed up spells. "I thought using the darkest spells would speed up the process." I half lied. I couldn't tell her about the Trix.
Lucy looked at me with an surprised expression. "Bloom you are first year. First years shouldn't be worrying about witch forms. You shouldn't start worrying about it, until you hit your senior year." She tried to reason with me and she had valid points. I might have agreed to this 3 days ago. But I needed to be powerful enough that I could fight the Trix, if they ever attacked her, Mirta or my parents. Icy showed me that I was right now no match for her.
"Maybe I want to become the best first year in my school. And this one would be, what pushes me above them." I said to her, without telling her about the real reason.
"Fine. We'll train together. Some of the strongest second years have managed to achieve a witch form. I can't be behind the pace." Lucy said and then we began.
Lucy like I had previously, began to use the first spell from the book. I taught her exactly how spell works and such. It was kind of funny, that I out of all people was teaching a spell from one of the darkest spell book ever created. Even if the said spell was to me a magical weed killer. I could see though, how in the wrong hands the spell could have disastrous effects.
Once I taught enough to Lucy and was confident enough, that I could leave her alone. I turned on working on the spell, that I was working on, since I was here. However it proved to be more difficult than I expected. Not only was it quite difficult to grasp. But trying to hit one of the crows without, them just flying away at the same time proved to be difficult.
Eventually I managed to hit one with the spell. I decided to, use the crow exactly like a witch would use one. I sent it to attack Lucy. After all it was a crow. It wouldn't hurt Lucy too much. I think the reason, this spell is banned, is because it can be used on much bigger and stronger animals. I have a feeling, that it wasn't created to be used on crows.
The crow dived onto Lucy and started to peck her on few places.
"Oww! Get off me!" I could hear her order the crow around. Off course the crow under my spell did no such thing.
Lucy then looked at me and could put two and two together. "You are doing this are you?" She said and it caused me to fall in laughter. Being a witch has made me appreciate some pranks. "Stop it! Bloom stop!" She said while flailing her arms at the crow. This caused me to laugh even further.
That was off course until Lucy sent right next to me a magical blast. After that I decided, that I had enough of this spell and stopped it. The crow was at first confused, why it was pecking Lucy to begin with and flew off after that.
Lucy then turned to look at me. I could see she had gotten some marks from the pecking. Nothing too serious, it was a relatively harmless prank compared to most Cloud Tower pranks. Lucy's face was her "I'll get you for that." face. I could immediately tell what she had planned on me.
I rolled around to avoid an another magic blast she sent at me. Lucy then shot a random cockroach with her make bugs bigger spell. This made the cockroach a size of a bull. I got up around this time but then Lucy ordered the cockroach to charge at me. This brought me to the ground again.
While laying on ground, I aimed a fireball at the giant cockroach. It hit it's mark and the cockroach was defeated and returned to it's original size.
I got up but before I could do anything, Lucy sent a magic blast that hit directly to my chest. I fell back into the ground.
That was it, I was defeated. If this was a real battle Lucy would have finished me on the ground. But this wasn't a duel like that. Getting up I expected to see a Lucy with a smug face and her telling me that she won. Instead it was something I didn't expect at all.
Lucy was glowing.
She was glowing in the same way, that a fairy does when they transform. The glowing blinded me at first, as I hadn't seen anyone transform for a year. Or maybe it was because the first transformation is always the brightest one. Eventually the glowing dulled down until it stopped.
It revealed the same old Lucy. However she had gotten dark green eye shadow, the same way the Trix had their eye shadow. She was dressed in a dark green one-piece suit. She had large even darker green boots that extended all the way to her knees. She had two dark green finger less gloves. Then finally in the one piece suit, she had a thin light blue stripes than with the letter L on it.
Lucy had done it. Lucy had achieved her first witch form.
Finally this chapter is done. I finished this during 2nd of January 2021. But decided to upload it a week later. I can rectify some of the mistakes here, and it gives an illusion I have finished chapter 12 faster than I truly have. So what did you think of this chapter? I think it turned out way better than I initially thought. This was initially just training and Lucy achieves a witch form. However it has more Bloom struggles with the the Trix. Anyway hopefully you liked this. Now at this rate I'm starting to be afraid I might have to put some warnings, due to all things the Trix try to force Bloom do. Lets hope it never reaches the M level. But luckily this is about peak darkness. I also wanted Bloom get that whisperia book, that fake professor Avalon gave it to her in a filler season 2 episode for a short while. I decided that it needs to have more importance to the plot. But that's all I can think for now. Oh and the Lucy's witch form was inspired by Gerganafen from deviantart. The picture in question is called Lucy - witch MT. So check it out, if you want to see what Lucy's witch form looks like. Now to answer reviews.
Luiz4200: Yes Bloom saw her first pixie. Even though it's not in a good context. Unfortunately since she is a witch, a pixie cannot bond with her.
vlad767: As you can see Bloom realizes what power the Trix have over her. Now that she knows the potential punishment, if she ever gets caught. About the Mirta thing. Well here's a little spoiler. It will be revealed what Mirta was doing there in the next chapter.
Jean d: I don't think there is anything to respond to here, other than what I responded to you by PM. So thanks you for reading.
