She felt a spark of humanity tried to creep in when she was dying. She was not afraid of dying but hallucinating about her mom made her care again. She didn't know if she should be thankful to Klaus that he had come to save her life in the nick of time. If he had delayed by a fraction of time, she would have let the feelings all in but if he had delayed a little while longer, she would be dead for good, which was what she wanted anyway.

But still, she was not ready to face her guilt yet. She shut the feelings away. A tire screech outside the mansion distracted her. She tuned in to hear who it was. It was Klaus and he was not alone.

Klaus hit the brake as soon as they arrived at the mansion.

Klaus: You stay here. I'll go get the others.

Camille: Okay. I'm not going anywhere.

He took one look at Camille before going out of the four wheel drive to call for Caroline and Freya. Camille stayed put inside the car. To be honest, she was not prepared to face Caroline. Klaus had said he will take care of her. That he had made sure Caroline learnt the lesson. But that's not what Camille wanted. She wanted revenge. Eye for an eye.

That was why she had agreed with Marcel's plan.

The door was opened when Klaus arrived at Caroline's room. She was putting her curling iron into her luggage. Klaus smiled at the sight of that.

Klaus: We're not going away for holidays, love.

Caroline: I know that. I like to keep up with my appearances.

She zipped the bag and stood straight.

Caroline: There, done!

Klaus: Alright. We're leaving now.

She turned around to face Klaus. The hem of her dress twirled around her thigh at the sudden move. She wore a flowy white dress. Klaus returned his attention to her eyes. They were daring. She maintained the eye contact as she walked closer to him who was standing by the door.

Caroline: Okay… but can I have a minute or two with you alone?

She spread her right arm to reach the door and closed it behind him slowly.

Klaus: What are you doing, love?

She gently pushed Klaus to the closed door with her palms against his chest. Klaus followed her steps slowly until his back touched the door.

Caroline: Don't tell me you didn't feel it too. I felt it the last time. And I know damn well I need to get it out of my system now.

Klaus: What is it?

Caroline stopped and looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

Caroline: This drinking your blood fresh from the vein thing. It's driving my hormones and my sex drive nuts. All I can think of is you fucking me!

Klaus: We don't have time for this, love.

Caroline: We can make the time. I really need a release now. I know you need it too.

Her hands slid down to his groin. She unfastened the button and unzipped his pants. Before she could go any further, Klaus held her wrist.

Klaus: We need to leave now, sweetheart.

Caroline: A quickie then?

She held his hand and guided it to travel underneath her dress. She let it slid in between her legs. Klaus breath hitched a little when he realized she wasn't wearing anything unnderneath. She was all wet which Klaus already knew by the smell of it.

Klaus: Caroline…

It was almost like a growl. She was right. He felt it too indeed. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, mustering his every strength to turn her down. She bit his stubble lightly and then whispered to his ear.

Caroline: You can make me come in less than 5, can you?

Klaus opened his eyes wide. He knew by now that he couldn't resist the temptation anymore.

Klaus: Is that a challenge?

Caroline: Why-

Before she could finish her words, Klaus spun her around and pushed her against the closed door, instantly slamming deep inside her.

Freya went down after Klaus knocked on her door earlier. With a duffel bag in her hand, she went straight to the car and saw Camille sitting alone on the passenger seat. She knocked on the window and it startled Camille. She smiled and opened the door.

Camille: Hi Freya.

Freya: Hi Cami. How are you? I'm sorry about…

Camille: Me getting killed and turned into a vampire?

Freya: For what it's worth, you don't deserve any of this.

Camille: It's what I get for meddling in vampire business, right?

Camille got out of the car and followed Freya to put her duffel bag in the trunk.

Camille: Thank you for the daylight ring.

Freya: Anytime. You're a good person, Camille. I hope you don't lose that when you become a vampire.

Camille: That's what Klaus told me too.

Freya: Speaking of Klaus…where is he? It is more than 5 minutes now, right?

Camille: Do you think we should check on him?

Camille grabbed a stake she had prepared in her bag for protection. They both went inside the mansion with full alert. Once entered the mansion, both became alarmed as they heard loud pounding on the door. Klaus' growl stopped their track. But what they didn't expect was to hear another voice. It was Caroline's, moaning Klaus' name repeatedly.

Freya: Oh my God! Can you believe this? I swear to God... Ever since the girl came around it's like he's losing focus.

Caroline screamed louder than earlier and then it was silence.

Freya: Are they done, now? Unbelieveable. I'll be in the car.

Camille tuned in to her hearing. She could hear clearly both of them were gasping for air and then she heard Caroline's voice, breathlessly uttering the words.

Caroline: You know Klaus… that was the first time anyone ever make me come twice in such short amount of time.

Caroline's legs were still wrapped around Klaus' hip. Her intention was to let Camille hear her pleasure but as the second wave of pleasure hit her, she didn't have to pretend anymore. Klaus made her scream louder than she ever anticipated. Maybe the whole New Orleans could hear her.

Klaus: Well to be honest, neither have I ever let myself come in such short amount of time.

Caroline: Seriously? Am I really that desirable of all the girls you slept with?

Klaus smirked. He planted another deep kiss on her lips before holding her legs to put her down.

Caroline: No, don't move. I just want to feel you inside me for another minute.

Caroline wrapped her arms around Klaus' neck as they gazed into each other's eyes. She closed her eyes and rested her forehead on his, savoring the remaining convulsion at her core while Klaus was inside her.

Klaus: Easy Love. As much as I want to be in bed with you all day long, I have to resist now. We have other important measures to consider.

He let her legs down for good this time. Caroline pouted.

Klaus: Don't pout, love. Once all this is settled, maybe we can continue this somewhere faraway only the wild animals could hear us?

Caroline: The Andes, perhaps?

Klaus: You remember.

Caroline was stunned. She didn't even know why the memory etched on her mind. She didn't realize it, not until she blurted out the word out loud.

Caroline: Well...I have a photographic memory, I guess.

Klaus smiled and brushed his lips against hers one more time.

Klaus: Perhaps, one day.

It felt weird having to eavesdrop on something so intimate. She regretted it as the jealousy arose from her heart. Camille turned around for the door outside when she heard Klaus zipped his jeans but Caroline's voice stopped her track.

Caroline: Vampire Cami? Is that you? I didn't know you're here. Well…Did you enjoy the show then?

Camille turned back around and flashed towards Caroline. Without a warning or a doubt, she stabbed the stake she held dearly, aiming at Caroline's heart. Camille stepped backwards as she looked at Caroline pulling out the stake from her stomach instead. She missed.

Caroline: Pro tip to kill a vampire - aim for the heart.

Caroline threw the stake onto the ground. They both now circled one another. Caroline grinned at the tension she created in the room.

Caroline: You know, Cami. It's a shame because I thought we can have a fresh start. But you just ruined my favorite dress and my mood.

Caroline leapt forward and grabbed Camille by the neck. She hurled her across the room. Camille fell onto the table, breaking it in two. The vase on the table shattered on the ground.

Caroline: Did you really think you can fight me?

Caroline lifted Camille up by her jacket and hit her again. Her fist hit the bridge of Camille's nose and blood splattered all over her dress.

Camille didn't back down. She struck back and slammed her hand into Caroline's rib instead. Caroline winced.

Camille: Worth a shot.

Klaus came down from upstairs with Caroline's luggage in his hand. He had heard their fights from above but intended not to interfere, just yet. He put the luggage by the entrance and leant back against the wall. Not long after, Freya came running through the entrance.

Freya: I heard glasses and screams. What happened?

Klaus: As you can see.

Klaus gestured to the fight that happened before their eyes.

Freya: What? You're gonna stand here and watch they kill one another?

Klaus: They're not going to. Let them fight for a while. They need to let the steam off if we're going to leave together.

Freya: You're enjoying this aren't you?

Klaus shrugged. There was a wicked smile spread across his face. On the other side of the room, Caroline was kicking down Camille. She knelt Camille to the ground and pressed her throat with both her hands. Camille gasped for air while struggling to break free from Caroline.

Caroline: You really need to pick on someone your own size.

Klaus: Caroline, that's enough! You made your point.

Caroline continued to choke on Camille, entirely ignoring Klaus. Freya has had enough. She raised her hand and immediately casted a spell on Caroline, causing her to fall backwards. Camille took the chance to bounce back. In a split second, she took the stake on the floor and pinned Caroline to the ground. She held the stake with both hands, raising it high up before aiming it straight at Caroline's heart.

Camille: Goodbye, Caroline.

But Klaus was faster. He immediately pinned Camille to the nearest wall. The stake she held with her hands flung away in the air.

Camille: Let me go, Klaus.

Klaus: I said, STOP TRYING TO KILL CAROLINE!

His voice roared through the compound. Camille's pupils widened before she closed her eyes tightly. When she opened her eyes back, she no longer struggled to break free from Klaus' hands.

Camille: I…what just happened?

Caroline: Oh my God, Klaus. You did not just do that.

Caroline stood up straight upon witnessing it. She couldn't supress a triumphant smile.

Freya: Brother. You didn't have to use compulsion. You can talk it out like normal people do.

Klaus: Well that's the problem isn't it? We're not normal people.

Camille: Wait, did you compel me?

Caroline: Vampire 101. Normal vampires can be compelled by the Originals, bartender girl.

Camille: I know that. I know all about vampires. Don't talk to me like I'm stupid. I have a degree in Pyschology. What do you have? A degree majoring in Slut?

Klaus: No time to exchange classes information, ladies. We're leaving now.

Camille: No, I am not going anywhere with you, Klaus. How could you compel me? Again?!

Klaus: I was doing you a favor. I took away the weight off your shoulder. This obsession will eat you alive.

Camille: Is that so? Like you were doing Miss Caroline here a favor by not compelling her to turn her humanity switch back on? You know what Klaus, I'm starting to think you didn't compell her because you like her this way. Apparently that's the only time she will ever be by your side.

Freya: Enough with this squabble! We need to leave now and the two of you can continue this later at the safe house if you want to.

Klaus: Listen, Camille. You've just turned into a vampire. You're not thinking straight and we don't have much time. So I'm begging you please to put this revenge fantasy aside so I can take you somewhere safe. I don't want you to end up dead, Camille. I can't lose you now.

Caroline: Oh please. If she wants to stay here and be dead, just let her be. Don't disrespect a dying girl's wish.

Camille glared at Caroline before returning her eyes to Klaus.

Camille: Alright, Klaus. I will leave with you but in one condition. I don't want to be anywhere near her.

Caroline: Like I want to look at your face after you staked me in my favorite dress?

Klaus: Fine, then we'll ride in a separate car.

Caroline quickly stood beside Klaus and grabbed his arm implying that they'll be traveling together.

Camille: I don't think I can trust myself around Freya.

Caroline: Whatever the hell that means.

Camille: Freya is a human! And I'm a new vampire trying to adapt to my new eating habit. Thanks to you.

Caroline: Yeah.. and Freya is like a thousand years old experienced witch. She can take you down with a blink of an eye.

Klaus: Caroline, you go with Freya.

Caroline: Seriously? You chose her over me?

Kaus: Like she said, I don't want to put Freya in danger. And I'm trusting you not to.

Caroline: Ughh! Fine!

Caroline went upstairs to change her clothes. Camille took off her jacket which was covered in blood. Freya had offered her a towel to wipe the smearing blood off her face. After a while, she sat down on the chair with her fingers rubbing her temples.

Klaus: Are you alright, love?

Camille: I'm fine. Just feeling a bit lightheaded.

Klaus: Did Marcel get you any more blood to drink last night?

Camille: He brought a small bag of blood.

She lied. Marcel had compelled an innocent guy for her to drink from. She refused to drink from him at first but her hunger and bloodthirst surpassed her moral conscience to the point of almost draining him. But she didn't. Marcel taught her well.

Klaus: There I thought I could count on him to treat you right. You need fresh warm blood. You're hungry.

Freya: You guys can go ahead. We'll be right behind.

Klaus hesitated for a moment. He looked upstairs, tuning in to his hearing. The shower was running, Caroline was singing with her angelic voice.

Freya: Don't worry, brother. I can handle Caroline.

He brought his attention back to the room.

Klaus: She might try to escape and cause you trouble.

Camille: I'm sure Caroline knows not to piss off a thousand years old witch.

Freya: Yes. Cami is right. And like I said earlier, I can handle her.

Klaus: Very well then. Take my car and text me when you're leaving.

Klaus passed the key to Freya and proceed to the garage to take another car.

Camille: I'll go get my bags.

Camille went out to get her bags. Just outside the mansion, she turned around for a moment to make sure the line was clear. She took out her phone and texted Marcel.

Camille 11.30AM: Managed to convince them. I'm leaving with him now. F and C still in the house.

Marcel 11.35AM: Good. Now distract him.

Camille 11.40AM: Another thing, just don't kill her Okay.

Marcel 11.41AM: Why the change of heart?

Camille 11.43AM: Klaus compelled me. If you don't promise me, I'm gonna have to tell him the truth.

About 20 minutes later, Caroline came down with a fresh attire on. She wore a tight black leathered pants and white camisole with a black cropped jacket on top.

Caroline: Where is Klaus? Off to the sunset with the mistress already?

Freya: They left a while ago. Cami needed to feed. Took you long enough to change?

Caroline smirked as she eyed Freya. She didn't miss the hint of suspicion in Freya's voice.

Caroline: I just love how all the Mikaelsons think they are always one step ahead of everyone else.

Freya: Klaus told me you might try to escape.

Caroline: Well he's not wrong. He knows me well.

Freya raised her hands up and casted a spell on Caroline. Caroline immediately knelt down. Her head hurt all she could do was screaming.

Freya: For some reason, Klaus cares about you to keep you around. But don't test me, Caroline. He is not here to babysit you now.

Freya twisted her hand a little, amplifying the magnitude of pain she put on Caroline. Caroline screamed a little louder with her hands both on her head. Suddenly there was a loud thump and the pain went away at once. Caroline looked up to see what had happened. It was Josh with a baseball bat on his hand. He had knocked down Freya cold.

Josh: Good thing she got some help.

Caroline: Oh my God, Josh! What are you doing?

Josh: Rescuing you.

Caroline: What? I don't need rescuing.

Josh: Yes you do. Come on. We need to move fast.

Caroline: No. I'm not going anywhere with you.

Josh: I'm sorry, Caro.

Caroline was confused when she saw a guilt spread across Josh's face. Just as she about to make up the meaning of it, Marcel had already snapped her neck from behind. Josh caught her from falling onto the ground.

Josh: What about the witch?

Marcel: Leave her be. I want her to deliver the news to Klaus when she woke up.

Klaus stopped at a gas station on their way to the safe house. It was in a remote area, only them and the cashier was there. He had compelled the cashier not to be afraid so Camille could drink on him. Camille refused to drink from the innocent again but Klaus' persuasive method forced her to change her mind. Plus, she was indeed hungry after the fight with Caroline.

Klaus: You surprisingly have good control considering you just turned less than 24 hours.

Klaus squinted his eyes, trying to read her. Camille comfortably drank from the guy and stopped drinking without draining him. The guy passed out but he was still alive.

Klaus: You lied, didn't you? Marcel did teach you to drink from warm body last night.

Camille: Okay, fine. I lied. I just want to have a moment alone with you. That's all.

Klaus: Why didn't you just tell me that?

Camille: Would you have listened to me?

Klaus: I would have considered it.

Camille: I just…I really missed you.

Camille inched a closer towards Klaus.

Camille: After I turn, everything I feel, I feel more, including my feelings towards you. That's why I can't stand seeing you and her in the same room. Even just the way you look at her…it kills me.

Klaus: Camille…

Camille: No, that's not the problem. The point is, I realize it now. I love you.

Klaus' eyes widened at the sudden confession. His lips parted a little. She had left him out of words. Camille cradled his face and closed the gap between them.

Camille: I love you, Klaus Mikaelson.

Klaus: And I, you.

His voice was soft, almost like a whisper. Camille closed her eyes, hovering her face in front of his, hoping he would kiss her just like before but he removed her hands from his face and stepped backwards a little. Camille opened her eyes. Her face fell.

Camille: But it's always gonna be Caroline, isn't it?

Klaus stayed silent and looked away.

Camille: You know she'll be the death of you if not Hope.

Klaus: I've always known that. I've always known that love is vampire's greatest weakness. We do not feel, we do not care. But Caroline…

Camille: She made you care?

Klaus: She taught me how to love again. She reminded me of what it felt like having to love someone.

Camillle: I just hope she can love you just as much, Klaus…cause you deserve it all.

Camille softly kissed his cheek before going out to the car. Klaus looked at her walking away. She was right. It will always be Caroline. But that doesn't mean he didn't care about Camille. Yes, Caroline reminded him what it felt like to love someone but Camille reminded him what it felt like to be loved.

The phone ringing distracted his mind. It was Freya.

Freya: Caroline escaped.

Klaus: Sister. What happened?

Freya: She got help.

Klaus sigh.

Klaus: Josh. I should have known. Are you alright?

Freya: I'm fine.

Klaus: You'll come straight here. I'll deal with Caroline later.
