Edolas part 1

They all race through the sky, seeing a large flash before a big sound.
A few moments later, they are all greeted with a green sky with planets in the background.
There are floating islands as far as the eye could see with colorful flora everywhere.
Many had looks of shock from how different Edolas was from earthland.
Of course, that didn't last long when all the exceeds minus PantherLily and Happy suddenly lost their wings, falling to the ground.
A few moments later, Happy and Lily landed with their slayers.
That's when everyone had a shocked expression when they saw Panther Lily.
"Right, you don't know, this is my original form when I lived In edolas." He informed me.
They all nodded in response.
"So, what is the game plan?" Cobra added.
"Unfortunately, the only one who has any sense of direction here is Panther lily," Natsu stated.
"Do you guys have a plan, Niichan?" Wendy asked.
"How are you two still able to use magic?" Carla declares, looking at Happy and Panther Lily.
"Remember I came over with Mystogan, so I still know how to use my magic here," he looks to Happy.
"I don't know honestly," he said with a straight face.
Like Natsu, he hates lying, but it is needed for the time being.
"We had no idea where we would end up, so the plan is pretty basic," Natsu said casually, causing most of them to floor themselves.
It was a classic Natsu move regardless of both the old and the new.
"First, we need to find a landmark, so I can know where we are, then we will discuss a plan of action," Panther Lily added.
With those words, they headed off. During this time, the remaining four exceeds worked on trying to use their magic again.
After walking fairways and a few run-ins with the locals, they found the Fairy tail guild...of Edolas.
They all had shocked expressions at this.
"You shouldn't be surprised. Edolas is a Parallel world with counterparts like mystogan and Jellal." Panther lily stated.
They were quick to shake away the surprise.
Well, we better get going if anyone can help us out. It's our counterparts of this world." Natsu said he walked to the guildhall.
Elsewhere
"Erza knightwalker, how much further?" Sugarboy asked from his seat on an airship.
"Not long," Erza Knightwalker said from her seat.
"We best not underestimate the fairy tail guild. After all, Fairy tail's managed to last this long," a third voice said.
Erza and Sugarboy's eyes landed on the captain of the first magic warfare unit, Ultear Leviathan.
She wore a tight leather long sleeve jacket and pants with regular shoes.
Her magic item was a pair of black gauntlets.
Her right one has a snowflake on it.
Her left one has a leaf on it.
Sugarboy and Erza knew those gauntlets all too well.
One allows her to cast ice and snow, and the other can constrict someone with robust vines and Various other flora.
"So, what the plan?" Sugarboy had to ask.
When we are within a kilometer away from them, you two will descend, one taking the ground and the other the air."
"And you?"
"I'll stay with the ship to pick you up when we're done!"
"Understood," they said in unison.
With Natsu and the others.
With the help of Lucy and Wendy, the fairy tail guild of Edolas was more willing to lend a hand.
But they didn't get to enjoy their time as their alarm went off, signifying the fairy hunter was near.
"Crap, what do we do!"
"Gajeel Cobra, with me, we fight them off so you guys can get away safely!"
"But what about us, Niichan?" Wendy asked.
"We will meet up at the capitol. Promise me they'll get there safely, Edo Lucy?"
"Hmm, you can count on me," she gave them a thumbs up.
Natsu and Cobras exceeds jumped to their shoulders.
Panther lily just stood beside Gajeel with a smirk.
They opened the door, ready for anything.
Edo levy went to work charging up the teleportation spell.
"Hang in, guys. This is gonna be a bumpy ride!"
The three slayers all get into a fighting stance as Erza knight walker jumped down, standing before then with a lance at the ready.
"So who's first!"
"I'll take it from here!" Gajeel sneered, taking a step forward.
"Good luck, you don't have any magic to use." She wore a smug smile.
"Oh, really well, how about this IRON DRAGON ROAR," then a massive stream of iron breather shot off his mouth before ripping into Erza Knightwalker.
It took a few moments, but she got back on her feet with a scared expression.
"What's the matter? You never fought a Dragonslayer before." Gajeel shouts as his eyes turn red in the shadows of his brow.
"Y-you can use your magic here. That should be impossible!" She was fidgeting from the revelation.
Then a loud smash could be heard.
They look to the source to see Cobra standing over the defeated form of Sugarboy.
Natsu kneeled down to Erza, so to be face to face.
"I have some questions that need answers. You're going to answer or, actually, you don't want to know happens," Natsu wore a sadistic grin.
After half an hour, Natsu had all his questions answered.
"So, what do we do with them now?"
"Their magic isn't gone, and they're strong enough to make it back to the capital."
With the others
The fairy tail guild hall reappeared in the middle of a desert as far as the eye can we.
"Whoa, what happened?" Sting asked.
"We just use massive amounts of magic to teleport our guild all, and everyone in it away from the army of Edolas," E. Levy announced.
"So where do we go from here," Lucy asked.
"You have to follow me," Edo Lucy stated.
It would take them two days to reach the capital.
With Natsu
The three slayers now stood before the three leaders of the magic warfare units.
E. Ultear was the most troublesome of the three.
But nothing Natsu flames couldn't take care of.
Natsu kneels down to E. Ultear eye level. "I never would have guessed my mate's counterpart is a member of the Edolas army. Then again, after knowing her so long, I shouldn't be too surprised."
"What's your world Ultear like anyway?" she said with a mix of curiosity and bitterness.
"Her name was Ultear Milkovich. Now it's Ultear Dragneel, my wife."
She didn't speak a word, only answering by looking away.
"So, where are we heading now that we have this thing?" Gajeel asked as he tapped the metal walls.
"What about them?" Cobra pointed to the three edo wizards tied shoulder to shoulder with their magic items on the far end of the ship.
"Well, we can drop them off somewhere. It's not like they can stop us," Natsu said with a crazed grin.
His fellow slayers and exceeds shared it.
After an hour of flying, they dropped them off at the edge of a ghost town.
They gave them their magic back, who knows what out there.
The last thing they need would be a guilty conscience if any of them died.
It's not the fairy tail way.
"Take care now!" Natsu said as the ship flew off.
With newfound strength, Knightwalker manages to break free from her restraints to free the others.
"What do we do now, Erza?" Sugar boy asked.
"We might as well head to the capital and try to stop them."
"But what if they get there first?"
"I doubt it. The earthland wizards were forced to split up from their group," Ultear stated as she put her gauntlets back on.
"So, where are we heading first, Natsu?"
"We need to meet up with the others if we can before taking the capital."
"What do we do when we reach the capital?"
"From there, we dismantle their army. Hopefully, by then, mystogan will have reversed the anima."
"I assume you and Mystogan have some show to do when he comes over?"
"Yes," he said as he steered the ship.
"Do you even know where they are at Natsu?"
"They couldn't have made it far with teleportation spells with the limited magic of edolas," Panther lily supplied.
With Ultear and the others
"How much farther?" sting complain before getting jabbed by Wendy.
"Niichan stayed behind so we can get some distance between them and us. We can't waste this chance by complaining," she said fiercely, getting a chuckle from the others.
"Sorry," he said, rubbing the spot she jabbed.
"Not much farther. There should be a town up ahead." E. Lucy said.
Ten minutes later, they stood before an old town that looked to be carved out of the land.
She led them to a spot to rest for the night.
Ultear was woken up from the sound of a knock on the door.
She carefully walks up to the door opening up a crack.
A smile formed on her face when she was greeted with the sight of her Husband, Gajeel, and Cobra.
"Surprise you found us so soon," she let them in only for them to find a seat.
Gotta thank Panther Lily, he mentions this was the closest town based on how far the guild teleported.
"How did you guys get here anyway?"
"We hijacked the ship those edolas wizards." he supplied.
"Where is the ship now?"
"We have it hidden in the mountains not far from town. But let's finish this conversation in the morning," Natsu said with a yawn.
Morning
"Thank you for taking them this far," he shakes, Edo Lucy's hand with a smile.
"No problem, Natsu. Hope all goes well for all of you" she waved them off before heading back to her guild.
They headed to where the ship was hidden, and to their luck, it was still there and in working order.
"So Natsu, do you have a plan when we make it to the capital?" Lucy asked.
He looks to Panther Lily, "the plan is to basically raid the city leading to the royal palace. While I and the remaining exceeds go to Extalia to convince the exceeds there they're not all-powerful as I'm sure that's the ruse they're playing on the humans. going off our encounter when we first got here" Lily stated.
"So when will we be there?"
"A few hours from now, but be prepared. They might shoot us down or something."
"The edo soldier we stole this from have probably made it to the city by now and are preparing our arrival," Cobra added.
After a quick breakfast, they all got aboard the ship heading to the capital.
After a couple of hours, they landed in a secluded area tucked away in the rugged terrain outside the capital.
When they reached the cliff side edge, getting a full view of the capital.
"Where are they keeping the lacrima?" Lucy asked.
"Up there," Panther Lily said, pointing upward.
They followed his finger, looking into the sky, seeing giant lacrima crystal.
"Right over there is Extalia," he added.
"Well, time to split up," Natsu said before jumping off, leaving even behind.
Ultear just shook her head in annoyance before following his lead.
The remaining slayers quickly jumped off, not wanting to be left in the dust.
"Panther lily, how are we to get up there when only you and Happy can use magic, and we can't?" Carla said with a level glare.
"If you want to use your wings, you have to search deep down to find your wing and summon them forth" Panther Lily and Happy just smirked.
Their fellow exceeds had blank expressions before complying with his words.
Believe it or not, they all manage to summon their wings following Panther Lily's lead.
Within a few minutes, they flew over Extalia, getting all eyes below to follow their path.
They landed at the doors of the queen's residence.
Within a second, the presumed guards of the queen surrounded them.
"What business are you here for!" One said with very distinctive yellow fur and jawline.
"We are to have an audience with the queen," Panther Lily said with a glare.
The guards all instinctively took a step back from the weight of Panther Lily's gaze.
"Let them in!" They all look to see a black-haired exceed with a really long neck shaking his hand uncontrollably
"Very well," Nichiya said.
They walk inside, standing before the queen of the exceed.
"What business are you doing here, Panther Lily?" one of the queen advisors asked.
"It's time you tell everyone the truth," he said with a glare.
Happy and the other backed up Panther lily with glares of their own.
Shagotte trades glance with her advisors before conceding.
"Very well, then."
They walked outside, calling all exceeds to them, telling them the truth before revealing she only has one wing.
There was an uproar from everyone, not believing her words.
Her advisors backed up her words planting the seeds of doubt in their minds.
Now they wait to see if those seeds grow and sprout into acceptance of the truth.
With Natsu.
The slayers casually walked into the city, blending into the crowd moving past any guards they cross paths with.
After a few minutes of walking, I stood before a lacrima for all to see.
"So Mystogan was right," Gajeel stated.
"Now that we found the lacrima, what do we do now?" Lucy added.
Without warning, Natsu flew high in the sky before slamming the lacrima with his iron fist attack.
Only to follow it up with a grip strike causing the lacrima to glow.
A few moments later, the lacrima let out blinding white light.
When the light cleared, they were met with the sight of Erza and Gray lying in the ground.
A moment later, they stood up, trying to collect their bearings.
"What happened?" Gray said.
At this time, the guards had them all surrounded and prepared for anything.
"Explain later, right now we have some unwanted guests at our party."
His fellow slayer unleashed their attacks taking out one soldier after another.
They were cautious not to ruff them up too much. After all, the soldiers at the end of the day are following orders.
Once they were taken care of, they hightailed it out of there, searching for a palace to lay low.
They were in luck as not too far away was an abandoned warehouse. Erza and Gray were given x-balls.
"So what Now, Natsu?" Gray asked.
"We're going to stay here for a few hours to recharge before taking out Edolas' military."
"What are we to expect?" Erza added.
"Well, for starters, the magic warfare units leader, one goes by the name Sugarboy, then Erza Knightwalker, Ultear Leviathan and Hughes."
Erza and Ultear trade glances before going back to Natsu.
"And afterward?" This time it was Lucy speaking.
"We wait for Mystogan to reverse the anima," he said blankly.
The next day
After a long night, everyone is more or less forced to accept the reality of the situation.
"So what do we do now?" a random exceed said.
"Nothing just waits for the earthland wizards to deal with the king and his armies," Nichiya added.
"There gotta be Something we can do!"
"I'm sorry we would just get it the way, yes we can fly, but that's all we can do here in edolas!" Panther lily Stated.
"What do we do when your wizards have taken care of the king?"
"You could come to earthland, there they have unlimited magic energy. And I'm sure it won't be too hard to get settled in after all. We did pretty well for ourselves!" Happy declared, lifting everyone's spirit.
"Better than staying around here. It only a matter of time before humans realize we are inferior to them." Nichiya said in defeat.
with Natsu
Everyone was saddled up and ready to go.
They carefully snuck through the streets of the city, slowly making their way to the palace.
"No doubt they'll be expecting us," Ultear said.
"Remember the plan, everyone!" Natsu said.
It wasn't long before they stood before the front gates.
The slayers could smell two of the enemies just out of sight.
When the doors opened, the two figures were Erza Knightwalker and Ultear Leviathan.
Erza and Ultear stepped forward, ready to prove they are the superior versions.
Erza and Ultear charged, Erza using her black wing armor and Ultear with her ice-make magic.
The two Erza clashed with each other, slashing, blocking dodging.
The force was so great they quickly blasted through the palace walls, not caring where they would end up.
The two Ultear traded blow for blow, practically mirroring the two Erza did as their battle carried them through the palace.
The remaining moved forward, intending to stop the remaining forces.
With Erza
Their fight carried out pretty much the same as the old timeline.
The only difference was Erza Knightwalker was actually having a hard time keeping up with her earthland counterpart.
All those years, training with Natsu has made her much stronger now than her old timeline counterpart.
Wanting to end things quickly, Erza requiped her war god armor.
"It ends here, Knightwalker" she had her sword and shield prepped for the final clash.
Knightwalker glanced at her lance. It was clear to her it would last much longer even if she had more magic energy.
Erza at the last minutes requiped into her clear heart clothing with a sword at the ready.
Erza was hesitant to use this armor, but she decided to put faith in Natsu's words.
"Erza, your armors are strong, but they're holding you back. It's impossible to use your full strength when it's chained by your heart. Full strength is achieved when you give it your all, including your heart" those were the words Natsu gave her after The Fantasia parade.
He could easily see the look in her eye when Jellal left with the others.
That having been plaguing her mind since then.
But now she figured out what he meant.
"Interesting I figure you'd stay in the war god armor, I think you called it?"
"That is correct. If I am to be victorious, I must win with my own power!"
The two Erza's stared each other down one last time before charging.
Within a moment, their backs faced each other.
Erza collapses to a knee, using her sword to hold her up.
She faces Knightwalker to her spear tip completely shattered as Knightwalker collapses, laying flat on the ground.
"I never thought I would lose to my counterpart!"
Erza hobbled over to her counterpart. "You fought well, Knightwalker."
"As did you" they both chuckled, taking this opportunity to catch their breath.
Erza helped her rest her back against a wall sitting right beside her.
"What is the meaning of this?"
"Neither of us can fight in any capacity, sure I can move, but I'm not going to leave my counterpart alone."
"As touching as that is, still why?"
"Anyone in the earthland fairy tail guild would have done the same thing. It's just who we are!"
"Tell me something, what's the deal with the earthland version of Natsu and Ultear?"
"Where to begin." She filled her in with everything she learned since the wizards in question first joined fairy tail to now.
"We could all be so lucky," she added.
"I wonder how Ultear is doing against her counterpart?"
"You are asking the wrong girl."
Earlier with Ultear
Ultear has her edolas counterpart on the ropes.
The feral ice magic was proving to be an invaluable skill.
As for Leviathan, she was able to counter to some degree.
But that was proving hard as her counterpart was able to freeze the vegetation she summoned.
"Having trouble, leviathan?" She sneered.
"You wish, Dragneel!"
The two clashes once more resulted in another of several stalemates.
"Time to bring out the big guns!" Leviathan brought her hand together, combining the two magic.
She slammed them against the ground, causing a combination of vines and flora to burst forth as ice covered the floor around them.
Ultear was caught off guard resulting in an arm and a leg getting tangled up.
"Looks like I got you. A shame I had to resort to combining the two magics."
"Why didn't you do it earlier?" She had a good idea of why.
"Magic is finite here, and combining them uses a lot of it, so I have to be very careful when I do."
She walked over with a smirk on her face.
"Not so tough now, are you!" She said with a sinister smirk.
Just as she was within reach, "PARALLEL WORLDS!"
Suddenly countless lacrima came raining down from the ceiling.
Leviathan was barely able to get out of the way.
Unfortunately for her, the lacrima destroyed the ice floor and all the vines and plants holding Ultear.
She untangled herself from them before matching leviathans smirk.
"Not so tough now, are you" Ultear taunted.
Leviathan gazed hardened before doing several backflips to get some distance.
They locked gazed one more before doing a hand to hand combat fight.
They knew magic would be borderline useless in this fight.
Both were forced to do this since a tremendous amount of magic energy was used.
Ultear was running on empty, and leviathans gauntlet reached their limit.
It started off as punches, kicks blocking before devolving into a petty catfight.
No longer were they fighting fair, now It was just sad.
Ultear had Leviathan pinned to the ground and held her leg up.
Leviathan slapped her boob.
"Ow, my boob, that hurt!" It did just the trick for leviathan wrestlers over to now she was pinning Ultear to the ground.
She grabbed her hair pulling hard.
"Ow, stop that" she backhanded her across the face before nailing her in the boob, getting a similar reaction.
"No fair!"
"You started it!"
Then they started ripping at each other's clothes.
Good thing no one was around.
Ultear managed to rip leviathans jack it off before her counterpart pulled her kimono off, revealing her black lacy bra, then ripped that off.
"Hey, that 's for my husband's eyes only!" She shrieked, ripping her shirt off as payback.
"Titty twister!" She grabbed her right nipple, twisting it painfully.
Then she did something unforgivable, she snatched Ultear's choker right off her neck.
That action was enough to send Ultear over the edge.
Fighting through the pain, she punched leviathan square in the face,
The pain caused Leviathan to let go of Ultear's nipple, groaning hold of her face.
At that time, Ultear summons her Lacrima hitting Leviathan Hard across her head.
She took a closer look at her counterpart. Upon closer inspection, she was just unconscious.
She races over to the choker, putting her hand on the crystal.
It glowed slightly Telling her Mother is still with her, she let out a sigh of relief.
Noticing how exposed the two Ultear's were, she repaired their clothes with her arc of time magic.
She laid Leviathan against the wall with her gauntlets destroyed.
She does not want to go through that again.
Now she has to deal with the pain her tender breasts are sending to her brain.
After a few minutes, Leviathan finally came to see her tied up by one of the vines with her earth land counterpart right next to her.
"Why am I still alive?"
"Because it's not the fairy tail way."
She scoffed at her counterparts' words.
Guilt started Taking over when she saw Ultear trying to keep the pain from her breast at bay.
"I see you fixed our clothes." She said, looking away.
"Yeah, well, I didn't want any men getting a sneak peek at what's for my husband's eyes. And since you're my counterpart, a sneak peek on you is just as bad" She glared at her.
"Natsu Dragneel is his name? If that's true, then Natsu Dragion would be his counterpart."
"Does he look exactly like him?"
"Yes," she looked away but not before seeing an amused expression on her counterpart's face.
She would tease her edo counterpart, but now is not the time.
Then Leviathan faced, "what so special about the choker?"
Ultear was very reluctant before giving her a brief rundown of what it was and why it meant the world to her.
"I see the earthland version of our, my, you know what I mean, is with you. Wish the same could be said for me." a few tears streamed down her cheeks.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to know- we would like to know" she rested her hand on the lacrima.
"Several years before I was born, my mother Ur was a whore." she still held to the same tone
Her counterpart was shocked before urging her to continue.
"One day she met a nice man, one who paid handsomely. Who would have guessed he would be my father. When she learned, she was pregnant with me. She immediately tracked him down, telling him she was pregnant."
"What happened next?" she said reluctantly.
Leviathan giggled at this "it's ok. You don't need to feel guilty. You're probably not no. You are the only person I can tell this to." a small smile grace the two Ultears faces.
Ultear nodded for her to continue.
"It was thanks to him she got out of that business. Not long after, I was born, and they were happy for a few years. Then one day someone from my mother's past came back." more tears streamed down her cheeks.
Then she was brought into a hug, letting her know ultear is there as emotional support.
"I don't know the details my father never told me, but whoever this man was threatened to kill my father and me if she didn't come with him. Dad raised me the best he could on his own. When I was finally old enough, we searched for her, but we found out too late, she was dead. Apparently, a customer liked her, little two well, and killed her before killing himself." She started sobbing uncontrollably as Ultear comforted her as best she could.
"What happened to your dad?"
"wanting a better life for me sent me to the capital about seven years ago. I haven't seen or heard from him since then."
"You're wrong, there is someone else you can say this to" she looks to her curiously, only for Ultear to show her her wedding ring" a smile graced her face, you're probably right" the two hugged once more.
I was halfway through the edolas arc for the anime then I realized I'm just gonna rewrite this
I'll still have to finish watching it for the name of characters or item like the dragon from edolas arc
hope you like how I did Ultear's counterpart who replaced Panther lily
and how erza and ultear reconcile their differences with there edolas counterparts
Also, I had a poll regarding the S-class trial but after conversing with someone else regarding the seven-year gap wich a planned their road map for a few hours.
anyway, after talking with them I realized that the poll is pointless with the story idea he gave me
