"Enough!" Lucia screamed and suddenly hugged Luka, caressing the little girl's bangs out of her face. Luka moaned and trembled uncontrollably, just as if she had been pulled out of water so cold that her heart had nearly frozen. She clenched herself but relaxed once she heard Lucia's comforting words.

"It's over... Everything will be alright now. We are right here for you." Lucia whispered.

Luka started to sob. She was so stiff that she couldn't even loosen her arms around the girl's body, and Kaito himself had to pull them gently open and lift her off. Luka turned around to face Lucia and begged.

"I don't want to fight anymore!"

Lucia made sympathetic sounds and Luka hugged Lucia tightly, crying loudly. Her hair slowly turned blond again.

"You did well! You don't have to do anything. Let us protect you now." said that soft voice, stroking her hair.

Mira took this chance and tried to escape while they were distracted. But her way was blocked by a grown-up Hanon Hōshō.

"Where do you think you are going?" She said.

"What?" Mira's eyes grew wider. She looked at the other exit but they were all blocked by the mermaid princesses of the future. They were all there safe and sound. Their idols outfits were replaced by long formal dresses and gave a mature and majestic aura.

"That is incredible..." Rina mumbled.

"Fine! I just have to deal with all of you. I locked you up once, I can easily do it a second time." Mira was preparing to attack.

"No, you can't..." They heard a deep low voice, coming from the ground. The demon king had his daughter on his arms.

"You tricked me, you damn angel... What you made me do..."

"I gave you exactly what you wished for! Knowledge and power to return your wife, it is right in front of you, why won't you take it?"

Lucia gently pulled Luka behind her. He raised his head, his eyes were no longer dark, but clear brown and filled with pain.

"You snake... LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER!" He shouted. Mira flinched and her voice was trembling.

"My lord... I served you. I did everything you asked–"

"SHUT UP! Your spells have no power over me. The contract is over."

They all heard a noise, like metal hitting the ground with a *pang* echoing. Mira looked at her own hands and tried to use her powers, but failed.

"...My powers are gone."

At this moment the whole castle that had been silent started to tremble again, the walls and the ceiling were cracking.

"The castle is going down. We have to get out of here." Karen said.

"Everyone! Come this way." Luka's parents were there by the doors, leading the way.

"Mom! Dad!" Luka called, standing her arms. Upon seeing her they smiled warmly and Lucia's eyes filled with tears. Everybody ran to the exit, even Mira.

"What are you doing?" Young Hanon asked her, angrily while running.

"Oh, shut up! I will not die here" She answered.

Luka ran together but stopped mid-way.

"Wait." She ran back to the hall.

"Luka? Where are you going?" Lucia and Kaito went after Luka and found her in front of the man on the ground, he hadn't moved an inch. Still holding his daughter. Kaito had the urge to stop her, but Lucia held his arm to prevent him.

"Come on, mister. We have to go." She said, even though she was trembling a little bit. He stared her crystal blue eyes as seeing her for the first time.

"...I can't go."

"Yes, you can. You just need to get up."

"I'm sorry, kid... For everything. But I want to stay with my daughter."

"She would not want this!"

He ignored her completely.

"Come on, mister. Get up, I can help you." She came closer and reached out to him.

"...Yes, you can." He suddenly grabbed her arm, scaring her.

"Luka!" Lucia screamed and Kaito ran to them.

The man yanked the girl close and whispered something in her ear before Kaito could pull her back into his arms.

"Don't touch her!"

"Kaito!" Lucia called. They all looked up. The ceiling was falling apart.

"We have to go now." He grabbed Lucia's hand and sprang for the doors. Over his shoulder, Luka gave one last look at the man in the room, his eyes meet hers and he smiled. She struggled to hold back the tears, she pressed her lips together, she choked down the sobs that still shook her chest. They raced away faster and just as they reached the others, there was a dull explosion from behind that shook the building. They were racing down the corridor toward the main entrance, but the way was blocked. Part of the roof had fallen.

"What we are going to do now?" Seira asked, horrified.

They turned around but the way they have come from was also blocked. There was a rumble and crash as another part of the building fell in.

"There is no way, just if we teleport." Rina said.

They all looked at Mira.

"Don't look at me. I've just lost my powers." Even if she hated to admit.

"Then that's it? We are all trapped in here?" Hanon asked.

Everyone went silent for a moment and then Luka raised her voice.

"No, we are not! I can take you back, I can take all of us."

Everyone looked at her.

"I'm just... not sure how."

Lucia held her hand and caressed her cheek with the other hand, to calm her.

"We believe in you, Luka. You can do it. Find your own strength."

Luka wiped her tears and nodded. She closed her eyes, holding her pearl tight and let her mind vague, she thought she had fallen asleep, and then: Flaaa-boooom!

A whiteout of bubbles. But the impact with the water hadn't hurt. They were falling slowly now, bubbles trickling up through their bodies until they settled on the sand soundlessly. They were on the beach outside.

Luka was glowing white. The glow turned into a dim light and then dissipated.

*Cough cough*

They all turned to Mira, the only one who was wet from head to toes. Luka walked towards her with determined eyes.

"You win" Mira hissed, "So the next Aqua Regina, will you take revenge on me now? Maybe transform me into an ugly fish of some sort. Go ahead! Do your worse."
