"You've got to be kidding me" Erza seethed as she, along with all the other girls, walked through the instant camp the Knights had erected around the remains of the Dragneel Estate.
"Given everything that's happened, you're going to have to be more specific in your statement there, Erza" Katherine almost whispered in as she walked beside her; glided seemed more appropriate though with the way she walked.
"The Spriggan Twelve" Erza stated and failed to add more to her statement.
Katherine looked to be about to question further since their assignment to meet with the Spriggan Twelve seemed the most trivial of all the things that have happened as of late, but Mirajane interceded.
"Erza's mother, Irene... she's one of the Twelve".
Karen peered around at that, "If your mother was one of Zeref's soldiers, how come you never brought it up?"
"Because it's irrelevant" Erza gritted through her teeth, "She's only the woman who gave birth to me, no more no less".
"Looks like young Ultear wasn't the only one with Mother issues" Mavis sighed, absently scanning the camp.
"You don't know the half of it" Erza muttered, and with that the group continued in silence a little longer.
Minutes passed before Hisui couldn't stand it any longer, "What are we going to do?"
"What do you mean?" Karen responded incredulously, "We're going to save Natsu-nii"
"I know that's what we want to do" Hisui spoke calmly, "But think about it; the Demons have a purpose in kidnapping Natsu and Ultear, so they're going to pull out all the stops to defend them".
"Are you saying we shouldn't try?" Katherine asked, though she knew the answer anyway.
"Of course not!" Hisui replied to her fiercely, "But we have to have a plan; there's going to be an army of Demons, and there are six Demons as powerful as Hades... and then there's Acnologia! And what if the Demon King himself-"
"There is a lot of danger in doing all of this" Mavis spoke up, "Without a doubt the Blight will be unlike anything you girls have ever seen before... but for the sake of love you'll all do whatever it takes to save Natsu, and for friendship you'll save Ultear".
"That's not the point that I'm trying to ma-" Hisui tried to retort.
"I understand your concerns" Mavis interjected calmly, "You believe we're not strong enough? That's true... but we won't be alone in our pursuit; if Arias is getting involved, that means he plans to dedicate perhaps the near entirety of the Knights of the Red Cross to this endeavor".
"And believe me; we're no small fry" a female voice spoke behind them.
Everyone turned around; before them, looking like a stereotypical young witch, with red hair and a near exposed set of breasts, was...
"Mother" Erza scowled, eyes ready to rip the woman apart.
Irene smiled, "Erza dear, please refrain from tearing me apart with those eyes; we both want the same thing don't we?"
"Do we?" Erza asked, genuine of the belief that her mother would lie about this; it would not surprise her.
"Perhaps not for the same reasons, but it comes to the same result" Irene smiled, "You want to save your man, I want to stop the Demons from enacting their nefarious plans... both result in Natsu Dragneel and Ultear Milkovic being rescued".
Erza scowled; it was the answer she expected she supposed, but that did not mean that she liked it.
"Regardless, a courier made their way to me before all of you did; I understand the Spriggan Twelve have been assigned additional... forces" Irene smirked, scanning the women before her.
She knew her daughter could be strong and could perhaps be depended on to take out the small fry... and from what she heard the girl Mirajane could be counted on just as much.
She knew Mavis was more than she seemed from all the briefings she had attended, and she knew Katherine, being the Lady of the Dragneel Clan, could muster up a fight if needed... but these others...
"Regardless of however I may feel about this assignment" Irene continued, "Orders are orders, so I came to ensure you reached us safely".
"We're fine on our own" Erza glared.
"Of course you are dear" Irene said, stepping up to be in front of the group, "But all the same, I will do as I see fit".
Irene began walking and most of the women followed her suit. But Erza remained a little longer, as well as Mirajane.
"Are you okay?" Mirajane asked Erza.
"You know how I feel about her" Erza said simply, and looked down, owning the loss of this 'battle', "But as she would say, 'Orders Are Orders'".
Erza and Mirajane began to follow Irene, the Witch of Despair, to meet the rest of the Spriggan Twelve.
...
"It's been three days in the Blight... so a mere few hours in the Mortal Plain I suppose" Lilith said as she stepped into Natsu's cell and took a seat in front of him.
Natsu did not reply, though he was awake, "She's back again" he thought to himself.
"No doubt you still suspect that I am an enemy" Lilith continued, pulling out a nail filer to begin grooming her nails. "I mean... why wouldn't you?"
"Why shouldn't I do otherwise?" Natsu rasped out.
Lilith smiled; he responded.
"That is a very good question" Lilith answered, "One that I am uncomfortable answering within this cell".
"Feel free to set me free any time you wish" Natsu scoffed.
Natsu looked around him; for what had been three days in his perceived time, the confines of this small cell had become the totality of his existence.
Strung up in chains, given little to no food or water... he was growing weaker with each passing second.
But his resistance remained strong. When it grew weaker, his thoughts went to Mira... to Erza... to Virgo... to Hisui... to Zeref... to Karen... to Katherine... anyone he loved or cared about...
He thought of Ultear...
"What of Ultear?" Natsu asked Lilith.
Lilith's face became expressionless, "What about her?"
"You bastards took her as well right?" Natsu confirmed, "So is she like me or is she being treated more generously?"
"The Ultear girl is of no concern to me" Lilith said as she stood up, slipping her nail filer into her dress. She walked her natural seductive walk to Natsu and held his face with both hands, "The only thing that concerns me now... is you..."
Natsu turned his head, shaking her hands away from him, "Is your plan to seduce me?"
"Seduce you?" Lilith asked, "Why would I need to seduce what is already mine?"
"Make no mistake" Natsu said turning back to her, "There's no doubt that you're one of the most gorgeous women I've seen... but regardless of all that you are my enemy".
"I don't know how many times I will need to tell you before you believe me" Lilith sighed, "I am not your enemy Natsu Dragneel" she smirked and the look she gave Natsu gave him actual shivers.
Looking insane with her loving eyes, she said, "You are my future husband... why would I ever hurt you?"
Natsu frowned, "You're crazy huh..."
"Perhaps a little" Lilith said returning more normal, "After all, love will do crazy things to a maidens' heart".
"I don't understand you at all" Natsu looked down, "You preach that you love me, yet here I am... chained... and you make no move to remove these chains from me".
"My hands are tied on this matter unfortunately" Lilith whispered in Natsu's ear, surprising him; he didn't see her move up to him.
"However" she continued to whisper, "The purpose of all this is to break your spirit, so that you may pose no resistance; Acnologia feels no fear towards you, but even he recognises that any resistance from you would no doubt prove troublesome to the plans his father has laid out".
Natsu glanced sidelong at her; her eyes were fixed to a point behind him, and her eyes themselves, though dry... showed a great sadness in them.
"So what do I need to do to get out of these chains?" Natsu asked her.
"Simple" she continued to whisper, "I'll tell Acnologia you'll pose no resistance; it'll be quite some time in the Demon Realm before the Knights of the Red Cross come in force... so in the meantime we can plan for the day that you can be freed... for good".
"Act placated... but in reality patient?" Natsu asked her and she nodded.
"And I suppose in the meantime we could also get to know each other" she smiled; Natsu noted her smile was indeed genuine, "Doubtless you would want to know your future bride".
She turned away from Natsu, "So how about it? Does it sound like a plan?"
Natsu frowned at her; could he trust her?
"You can simply use me for the time being if that's what you wish" she continued, "But in the end I want you out of this cell... I wish to be with you somewhere more comfortable, where we can talk... sleep... talk some more..." she turned to him and his breath was stolen when he saw her.
She looked sad... incredibly sad...
"Because in these coming days, what you and I will attempt to do" Lilith nearly sobbed, "Can potentially cost me my life... and at the very least I want these days to be spent with you".
...
Ultear sat by a large willow, in the yard of the Orphanage she had grown up in.
She was fourteen years old, going onto fifteen years old the following month... she would have to leave the home she had known her whole life.
Never knowing her father or mother... she didn't know what she would do.
Growing up had been a problem for her; she had been in the Orphanage for as long as she could remember, and as she grew up as did the children around her.
One by one, they were all adopted, the older they all got however, the less frequent the adoptions came.
But they were all adopted... except for herself.
She had eventually grown to an age that many would be adopters considered to be too old; these people were unable to have children of their own, but wanted a child they could say with verification that they raised themselves... something they could not have from a girl as old as ten.
So with all her friends gone, she was stuck alone in an orphanage, surround by children with snot coming from their noses. She would often sneak out at night, and seek the company of others in clubs and the such... she had often considered leaving to live that life full time.
But she always came back; perhaps a part of her felt that if her mother or father were still alive, they would one day come for her... and she wanted to be somewhere where they knew she would be.
So she remained, alone... for years...
Until that day, as she laid back upon that willow.
"So... you're Ultear?" a woman's voice penetrated her thoughts.
Ultear looked up at a middle aged woman with short black hair; she was dressed professionally, like she was going to a business meeting... which meant she was probably some snooty rich lady.
Ultear uttered a scoff, "The little ones are on the other side of the playground; I recommend you stay away from a kid named Miche... he's a brat".
"I think you may be mistaken, I'm here to speak with you" the woman said, almost emotionlessly... which was suspicious to Ultear.
Ultear looked up, and she could tell the woman was putting on a strained face to remain emotionless; something was bursting to get out her, but she couldn't allow herself to express it.
Someone who's trying hard to hide how they feel, could not be trusted in Ultear's eyes.
"I'm fourteen, fifteen in a month... I'll be out of here soon" Ultear remarked, "So don't even think about adopting me; there are kids here who need it more".
"I'm glad to see you grew up to be a thoughtful person" the woman smiled sadly.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Ultear stood up, "Don't mistake that for kindness; it's only logical after all".
The woman continued to smile sadly at her.
"Who the hell are you anyway?" Ultear barked, getting ready to walk away from this weird woman.
"Oh... well..." the woman looked downcast, "I suppose... my name is Ur... Ur Milkovic..."
"Well, lovely to meet you Ur Milkovic" Ultear replied sarcastically, "But I really must be going".
Ultear began to walk away, her back to Ur.
She was a dozen yards away when Ur decided to finish her sentence... the sentence that mattered.
"I'm sorry I never came back... my daughter".
...
Ultear sat up from her sleep in a cold shock, gasping for breath.
By no means was that a scary dream... but it was a frequent dream of hers, a memory... that continued to shock her to this day.
"You're finally awake" a rough masculine voice intruded.
Ultear looked around; she was in a bedroom, in a large four poster bed.
The ornate windows showed only darkness, but light came from the fire burning in the marble fireplace in front of her.
Standing in front of the fireplace, staring into the flames, was a large figure of a man; broad shouldered, with cropped black hair with a grey streak, and a matching goatee for a beard. He held a glass of wine in his right hand, as he used his left hand to support himself on the fireplace as he continued to stare into the depths of the flames.
"You had a bad dream I suppose?" the man asked calmly, taking a sip of his wine.
Ultear gritted her teeth, and made a move to cast a spell to make him an infant... but she couldn't sense her flow of magic whatsoever.
"No doubt you put yourself in the defensive and wished to cast magic" the man turned to her, his dark eyes looking tired, "I guess It's fortunate for me that Acnologia placed a condition that I place that bracelet on you".
Ultear looked at her right wrist; indeed there was a bracelet made out of a pure black metal on her wrist.
"What the hell is this thing?" Ultear seethed, "Get it the fuck off me!"
"I cannot unfortunately" the man continued to stare into the flames, "It's made of Blighted Iron; when worn, it draws all the magical energy in your body to it, disrupting it's natural flow, making it so that you are unable to use your magic".
Ultear gritted her teeth, "Oh yeah... and what are you some kind of old pervert or something?"
"I don't know where you get that from... but regardless even if I was a pervert, I wouldn't dream of touching you".
"Well aren't you just the romantic type" Ultear spat, "You certainly know how to charm a girl; now I recommend you get this thing off of me unless you want me to rip your face off".
The man looked up at her, "So strange... how you look so much like your mother".
Ultear lost it; she charged the man.
But he must have been expecting this reaction, but every blow she tried to throw at him, he expertly blocked.
"Don't you dare try to compare me to that woman; I don't know how you know her, nor do I care, but don't for a second think you can compare her to me!" Ultear screamed at him like a banshee.
The man continued to look at her calmly, feeling no need to fight back, only block.
"It just makes me sad is all" he replied, "To see none of myself... in my own daughter..."
Naturally, Ultears' attacks ceased.
"What... did you say?" Ultear seethed.
The man smiled, "My name is Kronos, Demon Lord of Time, and you Ultear" he grabbed her by her face to stare right at her in her shocked eyes, "Are my daughter".
Slap
Ultear slapped the man in front of her.
Kronos looked stunned for a moment, "Now really... you are so much like your moth-"
These words earned him a punch in the gut.
"What did I say... about comparing me to that woman?" Ultear almost broke her teeth through gritting them so much.
Kronos took a deep breath and took a step back, "Of course... I remember now".
Ultear took a step back... and examined the man further, the man Kronos... her father?
"Demon Lord huh?" Ultear quietly said, "Though I can't forgive her for it, I suppose I at least understand why she never told me who you were".
"It was for your own safety" Kronos sighed, "On the Mortal Plain, if a child is born half demon... they're usually 'Put Down' as you might say".
"Then why not here?" Ultear asked, "I could've lived here right?"
"Well yes..." Kronos admitted, "But I didn't want the Blight to corrupt you".
"Corrupt me?"
Kronos nodded, "It's complicated, but put simply half breeds can't survive living in the Blight, because..." he stared right at her, "The more time they spend here, the more they begin to lose their minds".
"Fucking hell" Ultear rolled her eyes, "I lost my mind in the human world anyway".
Kronos laughed at that, "You certainly gained a temperament I'll grant you that".
Ultear turned to Kronos, "So what now? You expect me to call you 'Papa' or 'Daddy'?" she snickered, "We go on long walks, where you try to pass on life lessons to me?"
Kronos looked down sadly, "Sadly, you're at an age where all that kind of stuff is irrelevant huh... I suppose just once I would've like it but... perish the thought" he took a deep breath to steel himself, "You're a grown woman; you grew up well enough without a mother or a father, to no fault of your own".
"So what now then?" Ultear asked, "From what I understand you guys want me for some kind of ritual right? No need to give me some special privileges during my stay, you can stick me in a cell".
Kronos shook his head, "Regardless of all that, I don't care about any of that" he looked right at her, "You're a grown woman, sure... but regardless I would still like to get to know you; prove to me that you did perfectly fine without your parents".
That ticked her off; he knew how to manipulate her?
"You're a fucking joke of a man, you know that?" Ultear growled.
Kronos smirked, "Well let's start with that; feel free to tell me how much of a joke I am with as many words you can possibly think of".
...
Irene led the group of girls to a large black tent on the far side of the encampment, right by where the Estate Gardens once grew; for some reason, during the battle the garden had died off.
Irene pulled open the flap of the tent and peered inside, then looked back at the group.
"It seems they're all here; I would recommend doing your best not to anger them... some of them can be temperamental" she warned them all with a smirk before moving into the tent herself.
"What does she mean by that?" Hisui frowned in wonder, when Virgo, who until now had remained silent, placed a hand on her shoulder.
"The Spriggan Twelve are one of the most powerful groups of Mages in the entire Knights of the Red Cross" Virgo said, "And it's my experience that the more powerful the Mage, the more of a 'personality' they have".
"I agree" Katherine said as she moved to step inside herself, "I've met a few of them in the past, but this will be my first time meeting them all... but if the few I've met are any indicator, well..."
With those words said, the girls all moved into the tent... and were greeted by a chaotic scene.
"Oh Brandy, won't you please have a bath with me? It'll be fun, I promise" a woman with short blonde hair said to a woman with short green hair.
"How many times have I told you to quit it Dimaria?" the green haired one said as the blonde continued to snuggle a little too closely to her.
"Oh please don't say that" the blonde replied in a 'cutesy' voice, "You know how much I love doing this".
"And you know how much I hate you doing it" the green haired one sighed.
This scene continued on right in front of the girls... but to their left...
"Ajeel, can you please stop getting sand in my food, I'm trying to eat here" a young man with short black hair and Iron piercings asked another young man, shirtless with long spiky brown hair.
"I can't help it Wall, now leave me alone, I'm trying to eat as well" Ajeel remarked back whilst stuffing his face full of food.
"You know it's different for Wall, Ajeel" another man, this time with long light brown hair and a scar across his nose, "He eats mechanical stuff; if sand gets in, it'll screw around with his insides".
"Oh fine, quit your bitching Serena" Ajeel said, waving a hand and extracting all the sand from Walls' 'food'.
Then over to their right...
"I'm trying to sleep Neinhart, stop putting images into my head!" A tall and muscular man wearing an Oni mask growled at another man, with long blue hair in a ponytail.
"I'm just trying to give you sweet dreams Bloodman" Neinhart said, "I thought you'd enjoy seeing your mother; I can make her appear for real if you want".
"That's enough Neinhart" a strange looking balding man interrupted, "You know Bloodman is sensitive toward his mother".
"Oh come now Jacob, is it so wrong of me to try and heal his broken little heart?" Neinhart mocked.
"I'll break you in a minute if you'd like little man" Bloodman growled.
And to the rear of tent, two men sat back in chairs, with another man standing over them.
"Why does it always have to be so noisy?" an elderly man with long white hair and a long white beard complained, seated.
"It honestly is never quiet here; I thought you'd frown used to it after all these years August" the other man seated replied, also seated. He was a young good looking man, with a Cross symbol upon his forehead.
"If you'd like I could silence them all for the time being whilst you enjoy your tea Sir" the man standing said, pouring the older man August a cup of tea. He was a strict looking man with light blue hair and glasses.
"That's quite alright Invel" August replied, accepting his cup of tea, "Larcade makes a point; I do still need to get used to the fact that this team is a rowdy bunch".
In short... they were all chaotic and unique to the girls eyes... and furthermore they could sense that the lot of them were powerful individuals, regardless of their quirky personalities.
"All of you, listen up!" Irene bellowed out, catching the attention of everyone in the room; the room had immediately grown silent, and everyone who was either joking around or ready to fight, now displayed serious expressions.
"These are our additional forces" Irene continued, waving her hand to the group of girls, "Though they may very well prove to be a hindrance on our raid to the Blight".
"So this is the family of the young Masters?" Invel remarked from the back, "As well as... you Master Natsu's... lovers?"
"Indeed" Irene confirmed, "They may not look like much, but I'm sure we can find something for them to do that can prove somewhat useful to the fight".
"Irene" August called out, "Regardless of how you may feel, if Commander Arias and the Red Dragon have granted these women to fight" he stood up and walked up to Irene, "Then they're allowed to fight; and since they've been assigned to us, that means we need to protect them... train them if we must".
Irene smiled a poisonous smile, "Always the loyal soldier, aren't you August".
"What about Master Zeref?" Brandish called out, also standing up, "I visited him an hour ago and decreased the size of his wounds; he should be waking up soon should he not?"
"I even flooded his body with endorphins, to delude his body into thinking it was better, to help accelerate his recovery" Larcade sighed from the back.
"The Doctors say he should recover enough to travel within a few hours" Irene answered, "And by the time we reach the Elysium Palace, he should be fully recovered".
"When do we leave for the Blight anyway?" Dimaria asked, standing up and grabbing Brandish's breasts from behind and Brandish immediately elbowing her in the gut.
"We leave tomorrow" Irene answered her, "We need fear not that the Demons will harm young Natsu or Ultear; they're necessary for whatever this ritual is they plan to do".
"But why wait at all?" Karen jumped out front, confronting Irene. "The sooner we get Natsu-nii and Ultear back, the better".
"We need to be prepared" August was the one who answered, "We need our Captain for starters... and all of you need to be ready to face the Blight... since we're short on time however, we'll need to rush things as much as possible".
"What do you mean by preparing us?" Erza asked the old man, but her mother was the one who turned around to answer, with her evil smile.
"My dear daughter... I think it's time for you all to unlock your Second Origins".
...
Natsu was laying on a green field, shaded by a large Sakura tree in the midst of Autumn, eyes closed.
He felt the warmth of Mirajane on his left side, and the warmth from Erza to his right.
Laying there... peacefully...
Virgo and Ultear sat next to them, chatting about something the eluded Natsu's attention.
Karen and Hisui bickered, and though he had no idea what they were saying, he was sure it had something to do with him.
Nearby Zeref and Katherine watched seated, laughing happily at the group.
And his father, Igneel approached him; it had been a while since he last saw his father.
"What a peaceful dream" a disembodied voice called from all around him.
And like that, Natsu awoke from his dream.
He immediately noticed a difference in his surroundings.
Not long after his conversation with Lilith, she had no doubt placed another sleeping spell on him... so he went asleep to the confines of his cell, strung up by Iron chains.
Now he was awake... and he awoke in a stark contrast to what he had fallen asleep to.
It was lavish bedroom; he laid upon a four poster bed, adorned in ornate sheets and blankets and pillows. The walls were decorated in pleasantly bright tapestries of significant obscure beauty.
In front of him raged a warm fire, fending off the cold of outside, framed in an ornate white marble fireplace. Above the fireplace, was a painting of Lilith and some other woman... though his attention didn't last long.
For beside him, laying next to him and pressing her naked breats against his left shoulder, was Lilith.
It was at that moment that he realised that he too was naked.
"I apologise for waking you" Lilith whispered, "It looked like a pleasant dream; a shame I had no part in it".
Natsu frowned at her, "Never mind that, can you put some clothes on? And where are my clot-"
"You've been asleep for half a day in the Blight" Lilith interrupted, "I sent your clothes to be burned for they were filthy; soon my servants will return with new clothes for you".
Natsu scowled, "Then why don't you put on some clothes?"
Lilith smirked and sat up, the blanket sliding off her body exposing her nakedness to Natsu.
"Don't you like my body?" Lilith asked, teasing him, "Would you say my breasts are unappealing; or are you more of an 'ass man'?"
"Breasts or ass it doesn't matter" Natsu sighed, closing his eyes; he did have to admit she looked incredible...
"I don't mind being naked in front of you" Lilith giggled, "You don't have to think anything of it; you can enjoy the sight all you wish".
"I don't even know you" Natsu said, turning back to her, "And you already want me to have sex with you?"
Lilith raised her eyebrows, "Oh? I said nothing about sex... is that what you're thinking of seeing me naked?"
"Stop teasing" Natsu growled, "Don't pretend to be innocent or ignorant; most men would've already jumped on you".
"Thankfully you're unlike most men though" Lilith smiled, getting up from the bed and exposing her shapely ass to Natsu.
"Yep" Natsu thought to himself, "Just as good as her breasts".
Lilith began to slip on a nightgown... which was slightly see-through... and turned to Natsu, "Better?"
Natsu could only sigh at this, "I guess that's the best we can get huh..."
Lilith continued to smile as she laid back in bed with Natsu.
"No doubt you have some questions for me" Lilith pointed out.
"Yeah" Natsu replied, "Let's start off with the obvious".
"And what would that be?" Lilith asked innocently.
"Why are you not my enemy as you say?" Natsu asks her, looking at her with a serious expression.
Lilith shrugs, "A good question; why would a wife be an enemy of her husband however?"
"We're not wedded so you can stop giving me that excuse" Natsu countered.
"But we are engaged are we not?" Lilith countered further.
"We have never met before, how could we have ever been engaged?" Natsu asked her.
"It was arranged" Lilith answered simply, and looked over at the painting above the fireplace, "Between your mother and I, when she fell pregnant with you".
Natsu looked at the painting; though over the years his memory had grown fuzzy on a lot of things, his mothers' face remained intact. Without a doubt, now that he looked more carefully at that painting... it was his mother in that painting.
"How did you know my mother?" Natsu asked her, eyes darkened.
"This may be difficult for you to believe" Lilith began, "But please listen as all your questions will be answered".
"You can spin whatever story you wish, but that doesn't guarantee I will believe you" Natsu fired back.
Lilith smirked, "So be it" she stood up again and walked up to the painting; Natsu noticed the gown did nothing to hide her ample rear.
"If I were to simplify it as much as possible" Lilith said, gazing up at the image of Natsu's mother, "It would be that your mother was not actually a human... but much like me she was in fact a demon".
"Liar" Natsu immediately replied, "My mother was human".
"I said you don't have to believe me... but you will listen Natsu Dragneel" Lilith said turning back to him.
Natsu scowled but nodded, which visibly made Lilith happier.
"Where to start?" Lilith pondered, "Well... I suppose I should start with the facts; your mother, and our current Demon King, were once brother and sister".
"So not only was she a demon, but she was also royalty" Natsu snickered, "You're not making it easier to believe you".
"My intention is not to make you believe me, but only to tell you the fact; you can ask Igneel if what I say today is true or not after you have escaped from the Blight" Lilith continued, "But yes, your mother was our Kings' sister... and you could also say our King was a little bit of a... how you say... 'sis-con'?"
Natsu rolled his eyes and Lilith laughed, "Oh he adored his older sister... but needless to say he knew little about the real her".
"The real her?" Natsu asked.
Lilith nodded, "Yes... she was always pro-active in trying to create good lines of understanding between the Demon and Human races... she wanted lasting peace between the two races, no more conflict" Lilith smiled sadly at that, "Whereas her brother sought complete outright war with the Human race; after all their father was killed by humans".
"Then one day I suppose, she met your father, Igneel" Lilith continued, "Igneel felt the same as her; he wanted a day to come where his illegitimate son could grow up in a peaceful world... where they wouldn't need his sword".
"He wanted to break the curse of the Dragneel Clan, the Thorn in the Demons' Foot" she sighed and turned to pour herself a cup of wine, "And as your mother and father spoke more and more, a romance soon blossomed between the two".
She poured a cup for Natsu, but he declined; instead she took a sip of her own cup, and continued, "At the time, I was her Lieutenant; she was a Demon Lord, strong and powerful... and I looked up to her like some older adoptive sister... and then..."
She looked up at Natsu to look at him straight in the eyes.
"She fell pregnant with you" Lilith spoke, "And knowing her half breed son would likely lose his mind if he lived in the Blight, she sought to live on the Mortal Plain, knowing full well that the Mortal Plain would be detrimental to her own health; I'm going to guess she lasted maybe five years".
Natsu growled; everything was adding up... everything...
"But first she needed to escape the Blight" Lilith continued, "So Igneel, the Red Dragon as he was called back then, launched a full scale battle against the Demon Army, all to create a distraction large enough for your mother to slip by unnoticed, to reach the Mortal Plain... I aided her on her escape" Lilith set her glass down and approached Natsu.
"In return... she promised me the opportunity for a husband of my own" Lilith said, creeping up on the bed approaching Natsu; Natsu didn't know what was happening for he could not move.

I'll start looking at doing weekly uploads for this story, giving me plenty of time to write and edit some nice long chapters for you all... So I guess I'll see you all next week XD Auf Wiedesehen
