Alex was peeved as she made her way into the government building she whipped out her creditionals as she waited to be shown Lucy's office.

"Ma'am she's ready for you," a private said before leading her down the hallway towards the office.

Lucy smirked as Alex waited for him to leave before slamming the door, "okay listen up Lane. Stay the hell away from Kara!"

"I have been," Lucy shot back as she stood up from her chair, and went to sit on the front of her desk.

"She's moved on; you need to get over it."

"You really can't see how Lena will destroy her, it isn't right," Lucy tells her as she folds her arms.

Alex's eyes narrowed as she glares at the general, "as if you didn't? Lena never cheated on her with a friend and she always has time for her."

"I apologized it was a mistake. I love her," Lucy insisted.

"She doesn't love you," Alex snaps back. "Move on!" she shouts over her shoulder as she leaves.

Lucy's heart broke as the door slammed shut.

Meanwhile across town Kara was waiting for Lena to get off when she heard a knock, she used her x-ray vision to see who it was and was surprised to see Clark on the other side. "Kal hi," she says as she opens the door for her cousin.

"Hey Kara,' he greets warmly as he gives her a tight hug.

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to talk to you actually he says nervously as he walks towards the kitchen avoiding eye contact with the blonde.

"About what?" the super asks curious as she follows.

"I heard Lucy is back in town," he begins but Kara cuts him off.

"Kal don't," she warns as she feels her anger began to boil.

"Look Kara I'm sorry but you know I will never trust a Luthor."

"Well I guess it's a good thing you're not the one dating one," Kara spits out as her fists clench.

"How can you just turn your back on your own family?" he asks his voice beginning to rise.

"Do you not know what Lucy put me through?! She cheated on me with James! She was always gone. I love Lena, she's kind, smart, funny, and she loves me back just as much!"

"Her brother nearly killed me and Lois," Kal said a little more calmly.

"Key words her brother, she's done nothing but good things for this city and she destroyed all the Kryptonite."

"She's a Luthor!" Kal screamed the apartment shaking as his heart vision threatened to spill out of his red eyes. "Lucy is a much better choice."

"I think you should go," Kara said her voice eerily calm as she eyes her younger cousin.

"Kara please."

"Go!"

Kal nods as he opens the door, he nods at Alex as he leaves.

"Kara?" she asks gently as she closes the door behind her.

Kara tried her best to calm as she waited for her heat vison to disappear before she slowly turned around to face her concerned sister.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm getting real tired of people telling me what's right for me," Kara snaps as she breaks off a part of the counter.

"I know sis," Alex replies calmly as she tries her best to calm the blonde down.

"Why can't they see how great she is?" Kara asks as tears well up in her blue eyes.

"It's their loss sweetheart, I know and J'onn and Winn and Maggie, we all love her."

"I just love her so much Alex and it kills me that they hate her so much," Kara breaks down as she sinks to the floor.

"Hey she can prove them wrong over and over again, but at the end of the day sometimes people are just going to see what they want to see."

"I've lost everything I don't want to lose her to," Kara sobbed.

"You won't, she loves you," Alex assures her as she wraps her up in a tight hug.

Lena was getting ready to leave for the day when she felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise, almost as if she was being watched, she turns around quickly scanning the room and the balcony for any signs of life, her eyes narrowing as she sees nothing. She shrugs as she grabs her stuff and shuts off the lights.

Clark appears on the balcony his eyes glowing red with rage.

Alex throws a blanket over Kara as she looks towards the door as it opens and Lena walks through, she looks startled to see her.

"Alex hi," she says as she sets her keys down and kicks off her heels.

"Hey," Alex mumbles as she gives her a little wave.

"Is everything okay?" Lena asks as she goes to the fridge, she grabs a bottle of water before walking towards the living room.

"I should let you and Kara talk," she replies as she stands up and begins to walk towards the door.

"Is something wrong?" Lena asks her as Alex opens the door.

"Just know they are wrong," Alex tells her as she shuts the door.

Lena is confused as she heads towards the couch where her girlfriend is sleeping; she pushes her hair back as she places a light kiss to her forehead causing the blonde to stir.

"Lena?" she asks her voice heavy with sleep.

"Hey darling, I didn't mean to wake you."

"It's okay," Kara tells her as she sits up.

"So what's going on?" Lena asks bluntly as she takes notice of the redness of Kara's eyes indicating she had been crying.

"I saw Clark today," Kara says as she looks away.

"I'm guessing it didn't go to well?"

"I just want them to see you the way I do," Kara tells her as tears brim her eyes.

"I don't care what anyone thinks of me but you, you are who I want to be with and make proud."

"You do make me proud every day," Kara assures her as she cups her cheeks.

"Then that's all that matters love."

Kara nods, "you're right."

"How about I run us a bath, and then we get some rest?" Lena asks as she stands up and stretches.

"Sounds wonderful," Kara smiles as she follows.
