Late in the evening
Vivian Anderson pulled into her driveway, parking her sedan in the garage before looking back to see a silver sedan pulling up behind her and she sighed heavily. She got out of her BMW and moved toward the sedan as it stopped in her driveway. She watched as the strange man exited his vehicle and she checked her wrist where a watch was definitely not worn.
He gave her that creepy smile as he came to stand in front of her. He held out a file for her. "I surely hope you are not planning a wedding anytime soon." He looked up at the home before he looked back at the brunette. "Beautiful. I've been looking into houses around here too."
"Get off of my property." Vivian held up the file and shrugged. "You are breaching many, many boundaries, especially for someone who isn't actually on a case or assignment." She gestured to the silver sedan. "You're trespassing so you need to go. I've already made it clear that I cannot help you or your investigation. I don't know what you're even talking about. Showing at my place of work is one thing. But now you're at my house, please leave or I will be forced to contact local authorities."
Kohn started to respond only to stop at the sound of a Harley getting closer and closer. "I understand. Thank you for trying to help." He looked back to see the Harley pulling into her driveway and he nodded to Vivian before getting into the sedan and he left.
"Who was that?" Jax cut the engine and moved toward the brunette, starting to hug her before she backed away. "What?"
The brunette shook her head. "Some agent asking about some gun nonsense. We are still talking. I was joking about that biscuit getting you forgiven and whatnot." She gestured to the folder and handed it off to the man. "He gave me this, I'm guessing it's not my business." She made her way into the house through the garage and dropped her bag on the bench by the inner garage door. "Go ahead and get comfy, sunshine. We have always been good at communication, that's not stopping now."
"It's never happening again. I'm here with you." He locked the door and followed the brunette into the kitchen. "It was a mistake."
The brunette nodded. "So you have said. Why did it happen?"
"Alcohol plus a stupid person equals stupid things happen." He sat down at the island and sighed, placing the envelope on the island in front of him.
She nodded again. "Condom? Pull out? What are the details on that?"
"Condom plus I pulled out." He nodded his head. "It was a stupid mistake, I regret it and I have since it happened. I don't know why the hell I did it, babe."
Vivian nodded once more before turning to grab a bottle of red wine and a glass from the shelf and she poured herself a glass. "Ok, let's play a quick game. My ex is around, he definitely is trying to rekindle an old flame. I go sleep with him. Regardless of truths, regardless of my honesty with you. What do you feel?"
"Pissed. You're mine." Jax shook his head slowly. "You're mine, why the fuck would I want to share you?"
The brunette raised her eyebrows. "Why the fuck would I want to share you? Case. In. Point. I'm not yours, Jax. That isn't fair at all." She rolled her eyes. "This morning, the kisses before we split? Moment of weakness. I've missed you, I wish you didn't do dumb shit. I wish we could be who we were but you have to understand this. You hurt me, just as you would feel if I did that to you."
"How do we get past this then? How do I get you back?" He stared at the brunette. "I meant it earlier and you know it, I love you."
She shrugged her shoulders. "I truly don't know. I think it's strange to pick up where we left off, maybe we start back at the beginning. I don't know. Maybe we see someone." She finished her wine and kicked off her heels. "I will try but I have one request."
"Yeah? What is it?" He started to smile, sitting up slightly as he watched her carefully. "We'll start over, I'll earn it all back. We will get it back together."
Vivian scrunched her face before she sighed. "Get tested. I shouldn't have to explain this at all."

The second day of starting over. The second day of Jax having to literally work for forgiveness and trust again. He forgot how easy it was loving Vivian, he forgot how quickly he fell in love with her. Rediscovering feelings didn't seem like something he'd do but to her surprise, Jax Teller was trying his hardest.
She pulled up to the clubhouse, parking across from the motorcycles and she exited her car. "I really hope the crazy queen isn't here." She mumbled to herself as she started across the parking lot only to be stopped by cat-calling and whistling. She turned, looking at the garage and she saw him. He was standing at the back of the car that was suspended in the air. Vivian started smiling and she made her way to the garage. "Are you actually being productive or are you just pretending?"
"Mostly pretending." Opie chuckled as he walked up to Jax with Tig in tow. "We got Church in a few, bro. Hey Viv, how's it going?"
Tig eyed the brunette, coming to stand between Jax and Opie. "Forget Church. Who is this and why have we just met?"
"Tiggy, this is Vivian. She's a friend of mine." Jax chuckled as he pulled her to him, wrapping an arm around the brunette's waist tightly. "She's just stopping by on her way home from work."
Vivian smiled up at Tig. "Tiggy? Like Tigger? Or did you forget how to spell trigger?" She rested her head against Jax's chest. "I have a folder for you too."
"We'll be back. You can meet her this weekend at the party. Hap is coming back for a few weeks." Jax smirked as he guided the brunette toward her sedan, backing her against the hood of it. He aimed for the most private area of the lot. "What's in the folder?"
She held it up and smiled. "Read it all and find out. You are a big boy after all."
"Yeah, yeah. I'll show you big boy." He took the sealed manilla folder, opening it before he pulled out a short stack of papers. "Non-detected. Just like I promised. I'm clean darlin'."
The brunette nodded slowly. "And a little pink stink? Are you going to look into that?"
"Do you need one?" He inquired as he placed the folder behind the brunette. "Kidding, kidding. I did talk to her, it's all good." He kissed Vivian's forehead. "We just gotta get us back on track. No surprises."

"I want pickles." Vivian's niece, Arianna, stated as she climbed into Vivian's lap. Her brown eyes were on her parents and Vivian's just smirked. "Please, Vivi?"
Vivian shrugged her shoulders again as she looked at her sister. "Is? She wants pickles. Let her love pickles, they're amazing." She stood up, adjusting the three year old in her arms and made her way into the kitchen. "All the pickles in the world. Your mom is just weird."
"I'm not weird!" Isabel shook her head slowly. "You seem better though, what happened? Get laid?"
Vivian covered her niece's ears and looked back at her sister. "Wow, shut up. Tiny ears here and no, I haven't gotten laid. I am just letting go of the negative and trying to forgive people for their stupidity." She uncovered Arianna's ears and moved to the fridge. "Pickle time, babe."
"Hey Viv, are you expecting someone?" Eric inquired as he stood up from the sofa and moved toward the foyer and the front door. "I got it." He pulled the door open and started to smile. "Hey, how can we help you?"
"Who are you?" Jax Teller inquired as he stepped back. "Where's Vivian?"
Eric turned his head to the side. "Hey, Viv! It's for you. This guy is asking for you." He started back into the family room as Vivian came towards the front door.
"Hi, what are you doing here tonight? I thought you were having dinner with Wendy and Abel." The brunette stepped outside, closing the front door. "What's that look for?"
Jax gestured to the closed front door. "Who the fuck is that, Vivian? How are you honestly acting all cool about this?"
"Ok, for starters: change your attitude. That guy is my brother-in-law, Eric. He's married to my sister, they're here with my niece tonight hanging out." She tried to grab his hands but he pulled away. "Hey. Knock it off, Jax. I'm not fucking around, I'm not sleeping with someone else. I'm not vindictive, I'm not trifling either. I love you and I'm trying to work this shit out with you so we can be together. Why would I start entertaining someone else?"
He shook his head slowly as he slowly pulled her to him. "He looks like someone you should be with. Prim and proper and not a stupid ass biker." He kissed her head. "Wendy and I got to spend some time with Abel before he decided to fall asleep on me and we put him down for a bit. I was gonna let her get some time to herself for a few hours, I'm going back tonight. I've been staying there the past few nights so I can help her out with him." He sighed heavily. "I'm sorry I lost it for a second."
"Why don't you come in? Meet my sister and brother, my niece is snacking on pickles. She loves them." Vivian nodded as she looked up at the man, kissing the man's chin. "Come on, hang out here then get back to your handsome little man. Or maybe just go back before you planned." She kissed his cheek before stepping back towards her front door. "We can meet up for lunch tomorrow. I have to go to the hospital tomorrow."
Jax nodded his head as he kissed her cheek. "I'll meet you at our diner tomorrow at twelve. I'll see you then ok?" He eyed her for a moment before kissing her. "I love you."
October 10, 2008
Jax sat down at the bar, one hand holding a beer while the one twirled his phone in his hand as he waited for a call that didn't seem to come. He knew she was on her way to the beach for the weekend but he didn't care, he wished she was here. He wished she was standing with him, having a beer with him or maybe playing a game of pool with him. He looked up at the sound of the door, making his heart beat fast as he watched the brunette walk into the clubhouse wearing a two piece lace dress. Short lace skirt that stopped mid-thigh and put her tan legs on display while her top was sleeveless and bore a small amount of her midriff. She was stunning. He couldn't believe that she was his.
But his mood quickly switched. He watched as none other than one of his own brothers approached her, whistling before he started up a conversation with the brunette. It made Jax angry, he pissed him off. She was entertaining him too. She was his, no one else's. He straightened up, making his way toward the brunette and a Tacoma brother, Kozik. "Viv." Jax plastered a grin on his face that he knew she would read right through it. "Hey brotha, this is Viv."
"We have met." Vivian smiled as she looked between the men before raising an eyebrow at Jax with a knowing smirk on her face. "Come on, show me around, Cujo. Nice meeting you, Kozik." She hooked her arm through Jax's and took his beer with her free hand. "You are mighty jealous, Mr. Teller. It's almost attractive but slightly offensive."
He shrugged lazily. "You are gorgeous, I'm not stupid." He stopped at the bar and grabbed another beer. "You look especially good tonight, again I'm not stupid. You're staying under my arm all night." He turned his head to look down at the brunette and started to smile. "You do look good though. What happened to your beach trip?"
"I decided to take you up on this invitation. I took off work Monday because you're coming with me tomorrow morning. We're going to the beach and there is also time to work on our issues one on one." Vivian shrugged as she finished the beer and held it up to the man. "Can I have another one?"
Jax shook his head slowly as he guided her to stand in front of him as he moved to the pool table, sitting down in the corner of the clubhouse to watch the games. He pulled her down onto his lap and kissed her exposed neck. "What if I tell you I can't go because I have to leave Monday for a run?"
"I come home Monday night while you head off for your run Monday morning which leaves us Saturday and Sunday to be together and work on things." Vivian murmured as she turned to look at the man. "If that doesn't work for you then please fill me in on what does work for you. Any other time, we didn't have runs getting in the way so what changed?"
He sighed as he shook his head. "Because I have responsibilities and I cannot neglect them, Vivian."
"And you took on the responsibility of trying to actually commit yourself to a full time relationship. With that comes fixing things that are messed up because you decided to mess them up. If you are having second thoughts about working on our issues then speak up now and I won't further waste my time." She stood up and turned to look at the man. "You begged for my forgiveness, you begged for a second chance and I told you I would think about it. So I did. I thought about it and decided to give you a second chance. With a second chance comes working out the issues that occurred to even grant a second chance."
Jax stood up, towering over the brunette. "Not here. We will discuss this somewhere else."
"What? Do you not want anyone to get the idea that you're an idiot and screwed me over?" She started to glare up at the man. "Too bad, your mom knows. She showed up at my house one night. She knew the whole time." She rolled her eyes. "Forget it, Jax. Obviously I jumped to conclusions thinking that we were really working on shit and trying to rebuild something. Thanks for clarifying." She set the beer bottle down on a nearby table and walked off, leaving the clubhouse.
"Viv!" He called after the brunette, a glare starting to form.
AN: Here's 11! As you all can see, she is willing to give him a second chance but he still has to work his ass out to gain her trust again. He didn't win her over with just food. She told him she'd think about giving him his second chance so she did but she also missed him so there's that. He's bad at communication and good relationships though but he's trying to work on it for Vivian.
Hope to hear from you amazing readers!
