Shadow: I'm Shadow the Hedgehog. The one and only ultimate life form. I helped Spider-Man and Cinder infiltrate Ryker's Island to free the Tinkerer, so he may develop a weapon to destroy the symbiotes. While returning to the mainland, I saw the SHIELD Tricarrier blow up all the bridges and tunnels. An extreme notion that only aids Salem's goal to divide us, but I'll show her that strength doesn't come from numbers!

Issue 14: Amazing Allies

Stark Industries Main Campus, New York City

'What I thought was an infection, turned out to be an invasion. Fires burned out of control. People running for their lives. How can we save them all? How was I gonna save my friends?' Spidey narrated.

BGM-Sonic Forces OST-Theme of the Resistance

Red-Suited Spider-Man stood atop of the Stark Building pondering to himself while overlooking the symbiote-infested city, until he saw Black Widow ascending to his location on a SHIELD hovercraft. 'Black Widow. She put everything on the line to go along with my idea. I hope for her sake I was right. The only thing certain was that things were gonna get REALLY rough.' Spidey finished narrating for now.

Spidey leaps onto the hovercraft before it descends. Black Widow says to him, "Spider-Man, while the Tinkerer develops a superweapon to defeat these creatures, you and the New Avengers will assist my forces."

Spidey shrugs, "Did I just get drafted?"

"Listen please, I do not have time for chatting or childish jokes." Widow retorted with a stern face.

"I thought humor helped people through adversity." Spidey quipped.

"Shut up. Briefing begins now." Widow says, as the hovercraft flies over tents in front of the campus, "SHIELD has prepared this area around Stark Industries as a base of operations. We will attempt to rescue as many civilians as possible and bring them here."

Spidey notices their base is surrounded by a massive energy shield, "What's the deal with the giant barrier?"

"This barrier provides some protection from these creatures. Exercise caution near this barrier as it can be quite deadly." Widow warns him of their Symbiote Shield.

"Good to know, good to know. You want my cell number?" Spidey jokingly asked.

"Stark Industries is being used as a rescue shelter and a temporary hospital, and no, I do NOT want your cell number. You will now use our advanced communication device." Widow hands him a new earpiece to wear.

"You think of everything." Spidey carefully opens a part of his mask to place the earpiece in his right ear.

"Yes I do." said Black Widow, as the hovercraft descends to the ground in front of the building. She expertly backflips off the vehicle and lands on the ground. Spidey simply jumps off the vehicle and lands in front of his fellow Avenger, "Spider-Man, it is IMPERATIVE that this safe zone remains intact. It is our only hope for saving the citizens of New York."

"Okay, okay. I'll do my best." Spidey replied.

Widow nods, "Good. Specialist Schnee will be here shortly to assign you your first mission. Take a few moments to prep. I must speak with Strange if he has finished casting the spell to prevent symbiotes from escaping the city or into other dimensions."

While Widow walks away to meet with Strange, Spidey hears someone calling him out, "Spidey!"

Spidey turns around and spots Yang walking out of the building, who happily runs to hug him. "Yang! Thank goodness you're safe." Spidey embraces her.

"Right back at ya." Yang smiled. She lets go of the hug only to immediately slap his chest, "Why did you break into prison with Cinder of all people?" She sternly glares at him.

"Uhhh…" Spidey muttered.

Suddenly, Yang sighs while hugging him again, much to his confusion. "I'm so glad you're okay." She said in sincere relief, as she has been worried about him for hours.

"Forgot this is how Ruby feels. More bruises from you than from Juggernaut." Spidey quipped.

Yang lets go of the hug with a smile and a hair flick, "Sorry. I've just been very worried."

"Sorry 'bout that. Where's Blake? Want to apologize for shouting at her when we last talked on the phone." Peter asked, wondering where his faunus friend is.

"She knows you didn't mean it. She's helping Carol and a few SHIELD agents preventing symbiotes from taking over Avengers Mansion. We've already lost Avengers Tower and the Baxter Building. Salem seems to be targeting every high-tech facility in the city." Yang replied.

"What about MJ? And Aunt May? Salem and Venom know who I am. They could be in danger." Spidey asked worriedly.

"They're FINE." Yang assures her ex-boyfriend, "They're helping people at FEAST. Besides here, that place is the safest place in the city. My mother is watching them with a bird's eye view, if you catch my drift."

"I know…" Spidey frowningly looks away from his ex-girlfriend, "Yang, I want to apologize about everything. About how our relationship ended. And how a simple visit to my world got you caught up in one of my messes again…"

Yang gently grasps his hands so he could stare at her frowning face, "Hey, hey. It's alright. Who cares if you kept missing our interdimensional long-distances dates. We're still friends. And friends help each other." She smiles, "You risked your life protecting my home. It's only fair I do the same. And I'm just…happy, to be fighting by your side again." She blushed.

Spidey chuckles sheepishly while blushing beneath his mask, "Yeah. Me too."

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Strategy

"Are we interrupting the lovebirds?" quipped Rouge, approaching the couple from behind along with Shadow, Cinder, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil.

Both Spidey and Yang gasp in embarrassment before quickly letting go of each other's hands. "Whaddya talkin' about, Rouge? I don't see Qrow flirting with Mockingbird." Spidey joked.

"He certainly tried. Nearly got his beak punched off." Rouge quipped.

"Gotta say, Spidey. Everybody thought you were crazy when we heard you breaking into Ryker's to free Tinkerer." Jessica told him.

"Not me. It was expected with Shadow around. The two of us raided Prison Island to steal Chaos Emeralds before blowing it up after all. Remember those good ol' days, Shadow?" Rouge teases her stoic teammate.

"I try to put the past behind me." Shadow quips dryly.

"No reason to forget the good times." Rouge flirted.

"Wait, back up. What's this about blowing up an island?" Spidey retorted in confusion.

"Ask that question another time." Winter chimes into the conversation, as she approaches the group, "Thank you for assembling. I'll make this brief. Each of you will be assigned to a different mission. First, Spider-Man, you will support our SHIELD Strike Teams."

"So what are these strike teams doing?" Spidey asked.

"Heavy combat patrols are tasked with reducing Symbiote threat level. Your unique abilities and control over the Black Suit should enhance their effectiveness." Winter assigned.

"Okay. I assume that was military speak for give them a hand." Spidey quipped.

"A strike team led by Agent Mockingbird requested reinforcements at Time Square. The symbiotes have gained control over Oscorp facilities and are using their weapons against us. Agent Omega and Qrow are en route. Rendezvous with them." Winter explained.

"Dealing with Oscorp and symbiotes. My two favorite pastimes together as one." Spidey quipped, agreeing to his mission.

Winter looks at Rouge, "Agent Rouge. I have been told your recon mission was a success?"

Rouge smiles with a thumbs up, "You know it. There's an underground laboratory run by AIM. They have the vibranium we need to complete Tinkerer's weapon."

"Good. Cinder and Iron Fist will accompany you to obtain the vibranium." Winter assigned that trio their mission, "As for the rest of you, Widow has ordered armed rescue teams to patrol outside of the safe zone and locate ANY uninfected citizens they can, then evac them back here." She says to Shadow, Yang, Jessica, and Daredevil.

"Good luck with that." Jessica quips dryly.

"You four are going on the first patrol." Winter assigned with a devious grin at the superpowered investigator.

"I had a feeling. Still it's nice to be asked." Jessica shrugs uncaringly.

Suddenly, an armored personnel carrier, also referred to an A.P.C., drives towards the group. It parks near them, as a SHIELD agent opens the hatch to greet Shadow's group, "Who wants to be my wingman? It'll be all sorts of fun! Let's go hunt down some of them ugly suckers!" He speaks with a southern accent.

"Have fun." Spidey says to his ex-girlfriend.

A smiling Yang winks at him, "You too." She hops into the passenger seat of the APC while Daredevil jumps atop of it. Jessica flies upward, as she and Shadow chase the APC as it drives out of the safe zone.

Time Square

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Westopolis

Spider-Man swings towards Time Square, which is left in ruins from the attacks of the symbiotes, roads piled with debris, ignited cars, traffic cones and barricade fences while skyscrapers are left in various conditions; some knocked down while others remain intact. A SHIELD Strike Team continue defending the area with everything they got, fighting the symbiotes that have gained control of Oscorp weaponary like plasma machine gun pistols and laser rifles, modifying them with their symbiotes to enhance their capabilities.

"Stolen Oscorp tech, huh. Salem must still be sore of Osborn betraying her." Spidey jumps off his webline and skydives towards the battlefield. "Watch out! Here comes the Spider-Calvary!" He fires a webline onto a symbiote that was shooting at SHIELD agents, stomping him with a Web Strike. The symbiotes growl, noticing Spider-Man. Some of them start shooting their weapons at Spidey, who easily jumps over their blasts and swiftly counters with Web Strikes, "Knock, knock. Who's there? None of you guys." He smacks symbiotes with successive Web Strike bounces until he reaches a Symbiote Ursa, who is about to claw him. He jumps out of the way, "Ya miss!" and while in midair, he web-throws the Grimm at a Symbiote Beringel that was busy fighting Qrow, "Qrow, heads up!"

Qrow heard him and quickly jumps away from the thrown Ursa colliding with the Beringel, destroying both monsters. Qrow looks at Spidey with a smile, "Took you long enough, webhead. Looks like these symbiotes really mean business! Let's you and me show them a thing or two!"

"Oh yeah!" Spidey remarks, spotting symbiote soldiers approaching them with rifles. The aliens fire at the duo, as Qrow uses his sword to deflect their shots. While he does that, Spidey jumps into the air and yanks away their weapons before blinding them with webbing, allowing Qrow to slash them down. Spidey webstrikes a vulnerable symbiote, twisting it around in various devastating ways in midair. Then narrowly, he dodges an explosive energy shot from a symbiote wielding a powerful bazooka-like weapon, "What was that? A bazooka? Never knew symbiotes were top-tier engineers." He webs the symbiote cannon.

Qrow kills the alien with a dashing slash, "These monsters are out of control!" He then immediately dashes away from a fat symbiote soldier's elbow drop, "And getting fatty!" He morphs his sword into a scythe and trips the symbiote. Surprisingly, the fat symbiote quickly gets back on its feet and punches the huntsman away.

"Somebody's been eating too many cheeseburgers!" Spidey swingkicks the fat symbiote in the chest, which didn't push it back in the slightest. The symbiote repels the web warrior onto a building with its massive stomach. Suddenly, it was slashed across the head by Qrow. "Chubby! Desserts are on me!" Spidey webs the symbiote, then hurls a car that kills the monster. "Where's Mockingbird and Omega?" He asks the huntsman.

"Rounding up the remaining symbiotes up ahead." Qrow replied.

As stated, Mockingbird and Omega are leading their strike team against the remaining symbiotes in the area. While the strike team focus their fire on the Symbiote Zombies and Snatchers, the two heroes fend off the stronger aliens. Omega fires a hail of bullets at Slashers, while Mockingbird smacks Beowolves with her bo-staff. Suddenly, a giant Symbiote Death Stalker charges into the area and kills several SHIELD agents with its stinger.

"Omega, focus fire on that overgrown scorpion!" Mockingbird ordered.

"Affirmative. Eradicate Symbiote Death Stalker." Omega reconfigures his weapons into missile launchers, unleashing a barrage of drill-like missiles that explode upon touching the Death Stalker. The Symbiote Grimm is pinned, desperately defending itself with its claws. As it plans to pierce the rouge badnik with its stinger, it got webbed by the swinging Spider-Man.

"Omega, need some help?" Spidey asked.

"No." Omega retorted stoically.

"Well, I'm helping ya anyway." Spidey temporarily switches to his Black Suit, slamming his powerful fist onto the skull of the Grimm, severely cracking it. As the creature frees its stinger from the webbing, it was quickly severed by a slash from Qrow's sword. The Death Stalker was left vulnerable, allowing Omega to obliterate it completely with his missiles.

Omega switches his arm cannons back to normal claws, "Symbiote threat in area has been neutralized. Eagerly waiting for next elimination mission."

"Keep waiting. We humans need a breather." Mockingbird quipped.

"And I need a drink." said Qrow, whipping out his flask to take a sip from his liquor.

Mockingbird looks at Spidey, "Thanks for the save, Spidey. We can handle ourselves from here, but other strike teams could use your help."

"On my way to check who needs it, then I'll head back to Stark HQ and hope the others finished their missions." Spidey said before swinging away from Time Square to assist other SHIELD strike teams.

Meanwhile in AIM's Underground Lab…

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Mad Matrix

Rouge, Iron Fist, and Cinder drops down into the underground lab. "Stealth time is over. Once I open the door, we go in guns blazing while I take the vibranium." Rouge whispered to her teammates.

Iron Fist reels back his right fist while charging his chi, "Ready anytime."

Rouge puts her back to the door and enters the passcode on the keypad. The door opens into a large room where numerous AIM agents are working on weapons and other dangerous projects. The moment they noticed the heroes, Iron Fist lets out a battle cry while punching out a dragon aura that annihilates several goons in its path.

"Intruders-!" shouted an AIM Gunner, before immediately kicked down by Rouge.

"Intruders that are here to save the world!" Rouge quips while flying past their rapid gunfire.

Iron Fist knocks back a giant drillbot with a powerful flying kick. As he lands, AIM soldiers surround and immediately shoot him. The immortal weapon swiftly dodges their bullets, moving with the speed of an ancient ninja as he flies into a dizzying blur of attacks, dropping enemies before they even finish a sentence.

Cinder swiftly wields Midnight, her pair of obsidian glass swords as she dashes through a barrage of bullets while dodging them. She leaps at a few goons, delivering a sinister spinning cut that knocks them out cold.

"What are you all doing here?! We're just trying to survive this invasion!" An AIM goon says while blasting at Iron Fist.

"And we're trying to STOP it! AIM is smart! Help us build the device to destroy the symbiotes!" Iron Fist retorts, while easily avoiding their shots.

"We'll do that, AFTER we finish our teleporter to escape the city!" The AIM goon said, before getting struck down by the living weapon.

"You idiots realize that after the symbiotes conquer New York, they'll conquer the rest of the world. For a bunch of geniuses, you're being REALLY stupid." Cinder lunges at three goons with a sword slash.

Suddenly, Cinder was smacked from behind by an AIM Crushbot. Her swords were flung out of her hands as the Crushbot nearly crushes her with its right hammer arm. But surprisingly, and strangely, Cinder was able to catch the large hammer, barely lifting it up with unusual superhuman strength. "Don't you even think about it…if you know what's good for you." She said darkly, as her eye is briefly consumed with a red substance and her dress sprouts little red symbiotic tentacles. With all of her might, she lifts up the hammer arm, freeing herself. Then, she delivers a powerful punch to the Crushbot that was packing so much force, she smashes it through several walls before it blew up.

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Symbiote City #2

"What did I…I was never that strong before." Cinder mutters in confusion, staring at her hands while forgetting the Toxin symbiote is slowly growing in strength within her body.

"Rouge, did you get the vibranium?" Iron Fist asked while fending off the AIM soldiers.

Rouge knocks down the goons in her way towards a vibranium cache with a combo of powerful kicks. She hurries to the cache, grabbing a large case of vibranium. "Got it!" She replied.

"Good, 'cause we have symbiotes sneaking in!" Fist retorts, as the heroes notice a swarm of small Venom heads coming out of small holes and grates.

Rouge hurries to a computer terminal and interacts with it, "I'm gonna activate the self-destruct sequence! Can't let them take control of AIM's tech and teleporters!"

The second Rouge activated the self-destruct sequence, the whole base slowly collapses as everything explodes around them. Rouge flies to her allies, as the three of them rush out of the base, leaving the AIM goons to be infected by the symbiotes. "They may be criminals, but I hate leaving them to this fate." Fist said somberly, feeling bad to sacrifice AIM to the symbiotes.

"Have no other choice. Gotta focus saving everyone else." Rouge said, somberly as well as they escape the underground lab.

"AAAAAAAAAH…!" An AIM soldier cries in agony as he's assimilated by a symbiote, before the ceiling collapses on him and his cohorts.

Meanwhile above ground…

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-SHIELD (Red Suit)

A civilian and many others are trapped inside a building as a horde of symbiotes block the door of escape. One distressed civilian quickly calls for help through his phone, "Hello?! SHIELD?! Can anyone hear me?! They've blocked the door! We can't get out!"

Suddenly, Shadow's group arrive as their SHIELD APC rams through the symbiote horde. Yang pilots the vehicle's weapons, shooting down every symbiote in her sight. The SHIELD agent responds to the distress call, "This is SHIELD A.P.C., Tango Charlie! Hold on tight!"

Shadow spindashes through the horde blocking the door, scattering the monsters. Jessica hurries to the door, opening it and freeing the citizens, "Step lively, folks! Get into the car!"

The citizens rush into the APC while the heroes protect them. Suddenly, a screaming civilian got snatched by a Snatcher as it runs away with a few symbiotes. "It's got a hostage!" Daredevil noticed.

"I'll cover you! CHAOS SPEAR!" Shadow hurls energy bolts at the retreating symbiotes, stunning everyone except the one holding the hostage. Daredevil uses his billy club cable to vault into the air and execute a brutal crashdown strike into the fleeing symbiote, freeing the hostage from its grasp.

"Can you stand?" Daredevil asked the rescued civilian.

"Yeah." The civilian nodded.

"Then run back to the APC! I'll cover you!" Daredevil retorts, as his Radar Sense picks up more symbiotes rampaging towards him.

Daredevil fends off the symbiotes while the citizen runs into the APC. The vehicle drives off, as Daredevil swiftly backflips atop of it before it rams through the symbiotes. "One more stop! Got word some people up on a roof. We gotta clear these things first." The SHIELD Agent proclaims, noticing Symbiote Zombies are blocking his path.

"Leave them to me." Shadow leaps into the air, delivering successive Homing Attacks to the Zombies while clearing the way for the APC.

The APC drives to its destination and parks there. "Up there! On the roof! Bring them down safely, Avengers!" The agent points to a building, where symbiotes are climbing it up towards the rooftop with three gangsters.

"Seeing another horde incoming!" Yang spots an approaching symbiote horde, which is led by a Symbiote Nuckelavee.

"Shadow and I will get the civilians! You and Daredevil protect the APC!" Jessica ordered, flying towards the rooftop.

Daredevil fasten his club together to form a staff, and swiftly pummels the symbiotes with it. Yang jumps out of the vehicle with her gauntlets activated. She blasts the Nuckelavee with explosive shots, which weaken the symbiotic creature, but only able to slightly push it back. The Nuckelavee lets out a sonic screech that painfully stuns Yang and Daredevil. It then tackles Yang, sending her flying across the area. Daredevil attempts to fight back, but the Grimm extends its arm to grab his throat before throwing him away. The APC shoots the creature with everything it has, which only serves to agitate the Symbiote Grimm. With a monstrous growl, the monster attacks the APC, endangering the agent and the civilians trapped inside.

"What are you doing out there, Avengers?! Keep them bugs off my ride!" The SHIELD agent expressed his troubles.

"Give us a sec while we beat the crap outta these bugs!" retorted Jessica, having arrived on the rooftop and protecting the gangsters from the symbiotes. She delivers a mighty dashing punch onto a small crowd, following up with a backflip kick and then a spin kick that blows them off the rooftop.

The gangsters shoot at a few symbiotes that are about to lunge them. Suddenly, Shadow warps in front of the gangsters and kicks away the aliens with the fire from his rocket skates. "We're out of here!" Shadow grabs the arm of a gangster, then uses Chaos Control to warp themselves off of the rooftop.

"Let's go, jerks! I have another alien to punch!" Jessica grabs the remaining two gangsters and flies them off the rooftop before it was swarmed by symbiotes. They land near the APC, as Yang and Daredevil continue fighting the Symbiote Nuckelavee. Jessica flies towards the Nuckelavee and punches it a few times before unleashing a devastating uppercut that knocks it upwards, through the window of a skyscraper.

"It'll just come back! We gotta MOVE!" shouts Yang, quickly entering the passenger seat while Daredevil jumps atop of the vehicle.

The gangsters hurry into the APC before it drives off alongside Shadow and Jessica. The Symbiote Nuckelavee drops down from the building and chases the vehicle. Shadow throws several Chaos Spears to stun it briefly, before Jessica throws a chunk of debris at it. Meanwhile, a few Snatchers leap onto the APC, confronting Daredevil. As he's about to defend himself, he notices they are vastly approaching Stark HQ and its symbiote shield. Before the growling symbiotes could attack, the vehicle and the heroes pass through the barrier. At the same time, the Symbiote Nuckelavee and its minions were electrocuted, painfully repelled from the Resistance's base.

"Disgusting black creatures. Get out of my sight." Shadow insults the repelled symbiotes after safely returning to base.

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-S.H.I.E.L.D. Quarantine Zone

As Shadow's group help the rescued civilians out of the APC, Spider-Man approaches them alongside Rouge, Iron Fist, and Cinder. "What took you guys so long?" Spidey jokingly greeted his friends.

"Traffic was a nightmare. Good thing it's the apocalypse and I was allowed to punch a path for us." Jessica quips, while Yang shares a hug with her ex-boyfriend, "How did things go with the strike teams?"

"They loved that their friendly neighborhood Spidey came to their rescue." Spidey quipped, letting go of the hug.

"Did you retrieve the vibranium?" Shadow asks Rouge's team.

Rouge smilingly reveals the case of vibranium in her hand, "Right here. AIM was more than willing to lend some to us."

"I doubt that." Shadow quips stoically.

"Well done, team, in completing your missions." said Black Widow, approaching the heroes with a compliment.

Spidey shrugs, "Eh, all in a night's work."

"Spider-Man, I want to ensure that the Tinkerer's weapon is a success." Widow replied.

"That seems prudent." Peter quipped.

"Keep an eye out for any material from the Symbiotes." Widow told the heroes.

"Are you suggesting we bring back Symbiote goo samples?" Yang commented.

"Yes, if any tissue or other material can be collected, do so." Widow said.

"That seems gross. But we'll do it." Spidey responded.

"In the meantime, assist more caravan extractions and purge the streets of symbiotes. Attempt to separate them from their hosts. I'll keep everyone updated on the status of Tinkerer's weapon." Widow told the heroes, prompting the Resistance to continue their evacuation efforts.

BGM-X-Men Legends OST-Sentinel Lab (Quiet)

Meanwhile, Venom enters the throne room of the Symbiote Hive's new base of operations. The Symbiotes have conquered Oscorp and infected all of its employees, forcing them to work for the Hive. Salem sits patiently on her throne while Venom approaches her.

"Avengers Mansion is now ours. Unfortunately, we were unable to capture Captain Marvel or Parker's little Faunus pet before they escaped." said Venom, reporting to his queen.

"It is no matter. Captain Marvel will bow before us soon enough. Focus your attention converting the other Cat." Salem orders for the capture of Black Cat, "What of the Black Hedgehog, and Carnage?"

Venom hisses, "We still know little of the hedgehog and have failed to capture him. But once he is a part of us, he will serve as our ultimate soldier! As for Carnage…" He snarls furiously, "He continues to be a pest! Massacring our forces along with SHIELD's!"

"It is only a matter of time until he targets Toxin. What'd you say if we form an alliance with your son to kill Toxin?" Salem asked her commander.

"Kill our grandchild? Weren't you the mother that decided against killing their own child?" Venom mockingly asked her.

"Carnage is stronger than you and Spider-Man combined, meaning Toxin is stronger than both you AND Carnage. Right now, Cinder is allied with Spider-Man. If Toxin fully manifests, it would be disastrous to the Hive, and therefore must be terminated at all costs." Salem explained.

"I understand. I had my plans for her. An ally against Spider-Man. Until she betrayed us for her love of Brock. I will send a search party for Carnage." Venom replied, "Speaking of our former host, he continues to resist the Hive!"

"The more he resists, the stronger his symbiote becomes until it overwhelms him. Once Spider-Man joins us, our power will be complete. We are, in a way, his progeny. It is only fitting he returns to the family. Great power. Great responsibility. He will soon realize that there is ONLY great power. " Salem stands up from her throne and walks away, while Venom follows her.

A door opens as the Symbiote Rulers walk down a symbiotic hallway. "What of the advanced parties? You sent them to Mobius and Remnant." Venom said, starting a new conversation.

Salem says, "That is right. I can sense from Remnant that my sleeper agents have infiltrated the Atlas Military and Schnee Dust Company, and in the progress conquering Mantle. They have already disabled the Cross Continental Transmit System."

"And what of Mobius?" Venom questioned.

"Sleeper agents have infiltrated the United Federation's mainframe and deleted the core program controlling information flow. As Remnant, Mobius have lost their communication system. Both worlds have been plunged into chaos. Unfortunately, my forces were unable to find any Chaos Emeralds. Their light would prove troublesome in the heroes' hands." Salem replied.

"There are still the more powerful Cosmic Emeralds locked away in the SHIELD Tricarrier." Venom said.

"They will be ours soon enough." Salem says, as the duo walk into a laboratory, "Before the end arrives."

Venom stares at a tube filled with liquid, containing a gray stone with black accents that has been modified with symbiote biomass, "The Stone is complete."

Salem smiles, "Thanks to Oscorp's resources. Osborn took advantage of mine, so it is only fair I do the same." She grabs the stone from its tube, as its accents glow red with mysterious energy, "The Symbiote Stone. ISO-8 that has been modified with my magic and symbiote biomass. The perfect harmony of magic and science. You know what to do with it, Venom."

Venom extends his tendrils, wrapping them around the Stone and pulling it towards him. He swallows the Stone as it increases his powers exponentially. Salem then warps themselves to the rooftop of the building for a mysterious purpose. A red aura radiates from Venom's body, before he unleashes a ferocious yell to the heavens, "GYRRAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"Did it work?" Salem questioned him.

"Indeed. The signal has been received. We have become linked to their hive mind. They are preparing. Soon, they will be summoned, and ALL worlds will become PART OF US!" Venom said, laughing ominously at his secretive master plan slowly coming to fruition.
