Goku was very happy at the moment he hadn't thought attending school would be all that great but from what he could tell it was alot better then the ones Bulma and his son told him about, I mean free food and training? who in their right mind would turn down a great deal like that, certainly not this saiyan. He quickly ducked however as a orange blur flew over his head and a puff of smoke filled the area.
Ben who's definitely been riding on the high of success (even if he didn't wanna admit it) frantically waved his hand fanning his face from the rather dense clone smoke as he gave a few coughs. "Gah what the heck Naruto!? Can't you do that somewhere less crowded!?" He'd give the grinning blonde a glare as said Uzumaki offered a broad grin shrugging his shoulders. "Sorry captain but there's no way i'm sleeping army style in this place, whose up for bunk beds!" Naruto proclaimed as Arale squealed waving her hand as she jumped around like the energizer bunny himself. "Mememememe!!" She'd loudly say hopping around the room. Goku scratched the side of his head thoughtfully and nodded. "That would give us more room in here." Naruto grins as he turned back to the tools and clones he'd summoned. "Well then you heard the majority let's get building!" He'd declare as the resounding cheer left them nobody seemed to notice Ben with a frown on his face as he stood just outside the door.
"Glad we could make that decision as a team..."
(A few minutes later)
Ben would tiredly yawn as he roused up from his place at the top of the bunk Goku had been kind enough to let him have it given he didn't appear as enthusiastic as the rest of the team it made the spiky haired saiyan concerned and worried having noticed this. "Is everything alright Ben? You aren't still mad I took your chilli fries back in the cafeteria are you..." Ben quietly stared at the ceiling and sighed, glancing to the side he made sure their teammates were asleep before responding. "No I wasn't even thinking about that to be honest, its more of a team issue." This confused the saiyan greatly as he sounded his confusion quite accurately too
"Huh?" The earth raised saiyan would ask completely lost.
Ben groaned as he flipped himself down onto his friends bunk. "Its stupid Goku, really i'm just thinking if i'm the leader that means I have to do what's best for my team and that also means I have to provide the ideas and when Naruto just out of nowhere came up with the idea and everyone was on board with it so quickly and didn't even ask for my input." He speedily began to spiral until Goku placed a hand on his shoulder reassuringly. "No actually I understand what you mean." He would nod gaining his friends attention. "Being the leader is a lot of pressure but everything is not just on you." He'd try to explain as Ben immediately shook his head. "Your wrong dude, being the leader does mean everything is on me and that's why we have to work together as a unit at least that's what my Grandpa said." He'd shoot back just ad fast while someone else intervened on the conversation. "Man that's heavy and all but you do know we aren't of a single hive mind right?"
Startled by the new voice both Ben and Goku turned seeing Naruto looking right at them as he picked his ear. "Dude how long were you even up!?" Ben would exclaim truly taken for the loop at how long Naruto must've been listening. "Hellllooo Ninja!" He twirls a kunai in between his fingers. Ben scowls as he pointed an accusing finger. "That doesn't explain anything and you know it!" Naruto grins his way. "Wrong on two accounts Ben it absolutely explains everything!" Goku chuckled at this very much reminded of his younger days, Naruto sure wasn't like any ninja he'd had the pleasure of meeting he was much more powerful that's for sure he'd definitely need a spar sometime in the future when he got back into shape some more.
"Actually I did hear most of that and i've gotta say man your definitely overthinking things by alot." Naruto would offer his two cents on the situation clearly having been a nosey ninja this evening. Ben felt himself bristle at the lazy jab at his feelings. "And what's that supposed to mean Mr Ninja." He'd extend the last part of his sentence sarcastically. Naruto however didn't seem to have noticed or minded as he continued his explanation. "Dude this is literally night one, heck its honestly the first time we really got to sit down and hold a full blown conversation with one another that didn't involve heavy planning and running for our lives, much less get to know each other properly." He stated as he looked over piercing blue eyes seeming calmer then his facial features as he saw Ben giving him a frown which he would respond in kind with a sigh and rub the back of his head before replying.
"Look man I get it, you probably had some expectations or even just a more privileged position of power, but like all things man that position is earned no matter how much you phrase it in your head we don't even know you and you don't know us." Naruto finished as Ben was left silent and staring at his orange teammate stunned. He couldn't refute that Naruto had a point here he couldn't refute it at all, training with his grandfather had made him idolize the older man in his position and for his accomplishments and created a false worldview of leadership creating the predicament he was in now, he had finally come to understand as blind hero worship that had gripped him for so very long. Maxwell Tennyson hadn't started out as a influential and powerful in the plumbers he'd had to work himself to the bone and pave his way from cadets all the way up into the rank he was in now.
That revelation hadn't even began to touch on the fact he'd need to earn the trust of everyone as he grew into the type of leader and person they could truly depend on and at the very least their friend, Ben had been looking at things like a job and that was disheartening no wonder Naruto was being rude and belligerent in turn towards him. Ben swallowed for a moment as he slowly turned to the concerned eyes of his team excluding the snoozing Arale. "G-guy's... I...I'm sorry guys.. I didn't.. I wasn't thinking, I just thought when I became leader it meant that you all had to look for me for my thoughts and that isn't what a team really is huh." He would chuckle humorously at his previous foolish thoughts. "A team is supposed to look at each other for answers while we depend on one another to work." Naruto would smile as he looked at the teen. "Heh took you long enough to figure it out glad I didn't have to kick your ass to make you see reason." Ben grimaced and looked at the blonde questioning. "Is that really necessary.. I mean kicking someone's but to bring them to their senses seems very counterproductive..." Naruto snorted as he looked at the mop top teen grinning from ear to ear "You'd be surprised~"
Goku would have a grin on his face as he reached for the sky. "Well alright! Now that that's all over shouldn't we be getting to sleep, I mean we do have classes tomorrow." Ben would nod. "Yeah your right sorry for keeping you guys up with this guy's.." They didn't seem to mind however as they offered calm dismissals before turning in for the night with that solved team BNG joined the A in dreamland, speaking of which...
(Arale's Dream)
"Yay ice cream!" The purple haired android whooped as she rushed over to the dancing pile until something burst out of it making her turn her attention towards it with wide eyes. The sight that she was met with was what appeared to be kid Goku waving at her cheerfully in his classic outfit sitting on a ice cream themed nimbus as Arale squealed in glee rushing towards her friend. "Ahhhh! Son-Kun have you come here to enjoy ice cream land while I journey to find the poop princess Turdina!" Arale would ask as Goku gave her a look of confusion for a moment before his face began to derp rather heavily as he thrust his hand forth and into the air "Of Course! come on Ben and Whiskers are waiting for us on the yellow brick road!" Arale would cheer as they sailed off to the next adventure with their friends.

Arale held a cute grin on her face as she let out an adorable little "Yee..."
(Morning)
Ben couldn't help but wake up startled as the sound of someone's counting roused him from his slumber. Groggily he managed to look over the side of the bed and deadpans seeing Goku doing a set of push ups and let out a sigh. "Really Goku its like 5:00 in the morning." Goku would grin at him. "The early bird catches the worm Ben, besides you know I like to do my morning exercises." The brunette threw his legs around as his feet met the floor he began vigorously musing his messy hair. "Yeah... And it's usually outside not inside!" He would call in irritation clearly not much of a morning person today as Goku finally finished his set and shrugged. "I didn't wanna miss breakfast by getting lost in this place it's super big Ben, kinda reminds me of a palace I visited once." The saiyan would scratch the side of his head recalling his tussle with vampires back in his youth, this earned a bit of a sigh and resigned grin out of the green teen use to his friends actions by now. "Yeah yeah of course you wouldn't Goku." He'd then blink his emerald eyes shining with confusion as he took notice of the vacant beds nearby.
"Hey Goku do you have any idea where Arale and Naruto went?" Ben would frown feeling confused as to why the ninja ran off. "He said he was going to do something really important, idk what it was though he wouldn't tell me no matter how much I asked." Goku would inform as he ran off to take a quick shower, leaving Ben to contemplate just what his more mischievous teammates were up to at the moment.
Hopefully they stay outta trouble..
(Meanwhile with our favorite Blond and Android)
Naruto had a grin on his whiskered face as he mischievously snuck his way through the halls. "Naru I thought you said we were gonna do something fun today..." Arale whined as she followed the blond with a bored expression on her face. Naruto would pause looking back at her with a cheery expression. "Oi you've gotta have more faith in me Arale have I ever steered you wrong before?" He'd ask with an assured smile as the purple haired girl would look thoughtful a moment before speaking up. "Well there was that one time you wouldn't let me poke that perfectly good pile of poop it was steaming too."
Naruto nearly lost his shit right there as he heard this. "Arale we were in the middle of some type of military base of course I stopped you after you tried to poke that guy's pants after he crapped himself!/ Personally I found that absolutely hilarious, the look of shame on that man's face as the purple haired child further brought his soul torment was something of legend kit." Kurama would laugh. "But it was sooo coooool and instant too like coffee!" She'd happily state stars appearing in her eyes as she recalled that glorious moment. Naruto slapped his face in exasperation at his tenants and his charges antics, truly this was some sort of cosmic payback for his Genin days wasn't it... "Oh most definitely/Shut up Kurama..."
"I feel like after the whole alien ninja stuff my life became a joke..."
Naruto sighed as he ruffled his hair a nervous habit he'd come develop in the years of chasing down his crazy friend and dealing with the nonsense that was his life, hopefully these locks could take the grinding he'd hate to be balding at like thirty or something, eh whatever right now it was time to have a bit of fun. The ninja alongside the android made their way down the hall and Naruto would grin as he quickly ran up the wall towards the teachers lounge. "heh i've found it~" A evil grin taking place of his usual one as he turned to the coffee maker. "Time for some payback Ozzy~" Arale who had taken refuge on his back like a koala would gasp. "oooooh that's why we're doing this, you coulda just said that Naru." The purple haired girl would huff as Naruto sweatdropped.
"Look if I just told you all my secrets they wouldn't exactly be secrets now would they?" Naruto would retort after swiping the sacred cure all for teachers he would replace it with something quite sinister to all coffee consumers and finatics...Tea, heh he'd never see it coming until it was too late. He had to admit though it was a better outlet then what the old man got into I mean seriously did anyone really think about what he was smoking in that pipe and why he was calm all the time? You do the math. Naruto would smirk as he ran down the hall feeling rather victorious "I've gotta say kicking this year off like this is pretty exciting reminds me of my Academy years, no need for an uninteresting year while Naruto Uzumaki is here I mean where's the fun in that? what I have planned should definitely shake some things up quite a bit." Naruto would say mostly to himself although it was clear he directed some of the speech at the purple haired android on his back, the sage had given him a task to complete and he'd see it through but who said he couldn't have some fun during brushing up on his prank king status felt so damn therapeutic who didn't love the classics once in awhile.
"Mr Whiskers I can hear someone coming, are we supposed to shout surprise now?" Arale would speak up smiling as she munched on a donut she'd managed to swipe as Naruto paused at this, had he really gotten so lost in his thoughts that much? No time to think about that he needed to move quickly. Naruto did quietly panicked at such a rookie mistake always remain vigilant of one's surroundings, Iruka would probably kick his ass for being such a noob or gloat about how he got caught in such a ridiculous way, either way he needed to find a place to hide and fast!
Entering the room was none other then Glynda Goodwitch a rather beautiful blonde woman in her own right she'd came for her routine check around the school building before classes for the students commenced, her sharp blue eyes swept across the room for a moment glasses gleaming in the light upon feeling something off in the setting, she'd brush it off however as nothing then morning jitters perhaps a cup of coffee would do her some good she could get Ozpin some as well. The woman soon left leaving Naruto to drop his transformation jutsu and quickly jump out the window with Arale before she decided to return. "Man that was a close call..." Naruto would rub the sweat from his brow as Arale munched on a donut she managed to swipe. "hmm I thought it was fun Naru!"
"That's because your joy factor is constantly operating on 100%..." Naruto would deadpan as he walked on the side of the school towards the classroom might as well sneak in to get some good seats for the team
"So this is where you've been?"
Naruto let out a high pitched scream that made half the early students turn to look at him, Ben gave his classmate a smirk having gotten him back for his nonsense the previous night. "How the hell did I not notice you guys come in..?" Naruto would give his classic squint as he looked at the Emerald wearing boy. "Oh you know.. Ninja." Ben would state a smug look on his face as the orange wearing ninja gave him a look about to argue with him for such hearsay. "How dare you regale me with such blasphemy..." Naruto hissed at his team leader who simply laughed as he took a seat.
"Dude i'm just messing with you besides payback is sweet isn't it?" Naruto would look at him confused. "uhh... Payback?" Ben would merely give his friend a mischievous smirk pointing behind him, Naruto followed his finger and immediately paled seeing a rather ruthless looking Yang leaning over his desk eyes shadowed by her luscious golden locks. "So... You really thought I forgot about what you did to my hair huh..?" Oh dear Kami please have mercy... "It was just a prank bro!" Naruto would instinctively yell ducking her first swipe and turning tail to escape as she chased him around the classroom laughing maniacally each time she drew near enough to knick him encouraging him to run just a little faster.
"Oh sweet Kami no! and I thought Sakura was scary, her freaking hair is on fire!!!" Naruto would animatedly sob as he dodged like his life depended on it and considering Yang's current state that may very well be the case.
Ruby held her hands over her mouth laughing as she caught sight of the two. "Ben you really know how to liven the morning, I think Yang actually forgot that before you reminded her." She'd beam as he chuckled a bit. "Yeah? Well I guess I am pretty cool." The pride in his tone met with an eye roll from Weiss. "You should try and set a better example, I thought you'd be less childish considering you woke us up for class but such a display is unbecoming of a Huntsman." Blake would scoff, leave it to a Schnee to ruin a good thing it had been tense only because of her attitude Yang and Ruby were welcoming and very easy to read but her icy demeanor and constant glares at the fifteen year old left little to be gleaned. "Aww come on Weiss its the first day and class hasn't even started yet." Ruby whined earning a narrowed stare in return.
"That doesn't mean anything Ruby infact that only furthers my previous statement." Weiss irritably states as Ben shared a look with Ruby confused by the girls grouchy attitude. "Well last I checked Weiss we were 16 and 15 individually while everyone else is 17 not 21 so maybe you need to work on figuring out the balance between adulting and being a teen because we're still learning." Ben would sass as Naruto, Yang and Nora laughed their asses off upon hearing this. "Go off greenie, I'm a proud child at heart!" Yang would cheer as she released Naruto from her clutches but not before giving him a noogie.
Weiss looked furious and was about to say something in return until the deep rumble of someone clearing their throat was heard. "Alright settle down class I know becoming a student of Beacon Academy is very exciting but it can wait until after class is finished." A stout man named Professor Port would placate the rising situation and deflate the rising tension as everyone moved to take their seats but not before Weiss shot her leader and their friend another heated glare that simply bled This isn't over... In all capital letters. Ben would sigh while Ruby nervously clutched her scarf seems like no matter the world someone always had to make life just a little harder then it already was.
"Hey have any of you seen Goku?" Yang would suddenly state having missed the appearance of the exaggerated swagger of a saiyan teen. "Huh he was right behind me when we left the dorm." Ben was very confused now as was every else, where in the world was Goku?
"Don't tell me he actually got himself lost..." Ben would face palm as the others turned to look at him equally exasperated.
Meanwhile in another location Goku would blink as he wandered outside the school. "Uhhh... does anybody know where first period is..?" He'd ask nobody in particular as he scratched his head dumbfounded, you went out for a little fresh air and lost your sense of direction what could ya do he would blink as he bumped into someone who seemed to be around his 40's maybe grey stubble and hair as he wore a helmet on his head that seemed very odd resembling that of an ants antenna. "Hello young student you appear to be in need of assistance what happens to be your name?"
Goku would pause examining this person before smiling. "My names Goku and yeah I guess you could say that, I kinda got lost on the way to my first class hehehe..." He'd sheepishly rub the back of his head as he carried himself forward. "Not an issue child, for I am happen to work in this facility as well and I can help you find your way there." Goku would look wide eyed. "Whoa wait what? your a teacher here?"
The man would smirk and looked directly at the Saiyan student. "Why yes, I am your science teacher and to be more specific my name is Dr Animo and you will never come across another scientist as brilliant as I!"
I've gotta say it feels pretty good to update this story after so damn long, I wanna apologize for that and while I could sit here and explain everything that's happened, lets just say last year was hard for us all and leave it at that. I'm curious to hear what you all think about the chapter and can't wait to continue, you all remember to be awesome and stay safe out there.
