Jackson sat on the edge of the dock that led out to the lake, he was soaking up the sun since it was slowly getting colder and soon only the water monsters would be able to stand the cold water. Smiling a little he kicked the water a bit just letting his thoughts be free trying to hopefully reach Holt. Looking hard he was trying to see how the walls work in his mind. He hasn't been able to sense Holt in his mind before so he didn't expect to now, but he wanted to know why the last change felt so strange to him. It was almost like Holt was scared, Jackson sighed opening his eyes as he gave up looking for his other half. Why did he have to be the one with this condition? Falling backwards looking up at the clear blue sky he just wanted to disappear into the clouds and never come back down when he heard music playing off in a distance not too far from him. Groaning a bit he sat up to look behind him as Deuce joined him smiling brightly at him. "Having a rough day?"

Shaking his head slightly, "No not rough, just trying to figure something out."

Deuce pushed Jackson a little before looking towards the music that was getting louder, "You should just let it go whatever you are trying to figure out, you might learn about it later." He said as Jackson groaned, "Besides there is a little party over there and the normies started it for once."

He hopped up leaving Jackson as he slowly pulled down his jeans and placed his shoes back on, "I seriously hate you for bringing it towards me."

Deuce just laughed running over to the still growing group of teenagers, who were all cheering and laughing. Jackson smiled a bit as he saw Clair dancing with Chad not caring about anything. Walking slowly over he caught the sight of Frankie dancing with her group of friends not noticing Jackson just yet, but before she could Jackson wandered over to Deuce who seemed to lose what happiness he had when he pulled Jackson over from the lake.

"What made you wanna stone someone?" Jackson teased before he caught the full look of Duece's face that was hidden by his famous glasses. Jackson could hear faint hissing from his snakes from under his hat. Following his gaze Jackson saw what the problem was, the new kid Draven was talking up a storm with Cleo who seemed perfectly happy with the attention even if it was a nerdish looking normie.

"Oh that's not fair Cleo," Jackson grumbled feeling insulted.

"He has been doing this a lot lately," Deuce growled out making Jackson look at him again, "He has been going out of his way to help her with homework and everything."

"I thought Ghoula helped her," Jackson asked as Deuce shook his head.

"She hasn't been lately since she hasn't been able to sleep well during the day." Deuce said, sighing a bit, "Plus every time I talk to her about not liking the guy she rolls her eyes and tells me to stop being so jealous."

"That's cold even for her." Jackson said while watching Cleo toss her hair behind her shoulders laughing. Jackson slowly looked at Deuce again as he turned around and rushed to the lake. "I can't stay there anymore." He rushed out leaving Jackson along for a moment.

Jackson looked back over at the two before a headache rushed over him. "Oh that's not normal." He whispered to himself before steading himself and following Deuce who was punching a stone wall. "I can't take it anymore!" He shouted, before placing his forehead on the wall. "What did I do to deserve this?" He whined out as Jackson appeared next to him placing a hand on his shoulder. "You didn't do anything but try to keep her happy, maybe you can talk to her once again and if that doesn't work then maybe…." Jackson stopped as a wave of dizziness washed over him getting Deuce to look up. Deuce had a face of concern as he took in Jackson's paler than normal appearance, "Dude are you okay? You look like you are about to faint?" Jackson just shook his head, "Maybe you should just break up with her, that might get the point across that you do not like her flirting with other guys." He finished as he didn't even notice that he was about to fall over.

"Jackson, dude, you are not looking good are you even listening to me?" Deuce asked again as Jackson stared at him, but not really seeing him. Before Deuce could shake him flames started to come from Jackson's hands, but before they got too strong Jackson fell over on the ground out cold. Deuce yelled out getting a few looks from the closer students. "Get the nurse or Dr. Jekyll now!" He shouted to anyone who was near, a few normies took off running while others gathered around to see what was going on. Before anyone got too close Miss. Ivory appeared, "no worry students I am here!" She moved over to where Deuce and Jackson were, she tsked before standing straight up, "I suppose we get him to the nurse as soon as possible," she motioned for Deuce to pick him up. Deuce wasn't hesitant to pick up Jackson and to follow her, but after a moment he noticed they were going down a wrong hallway, "We need to get him to the nurse!" Deuce said as he saw her shake her head, "I think his father will be the best option with this."

"His father is a doctor sure, but this could just be a fainting spell due to lack of eating or something," Deuce said as they reached the door, "Plus the nurse has everything she needs to check things, the doctor doesn't!"

Miss Ivory ignored him as she knocked on the door, it took a moment before a tired looking Dr. Jekyll answered the door. He was clearly sleeping as he had no shirt on or shoes, just a normal looking pair of sleeping pants. "What is going on? I asked not to be disturbed," he groaned out, rubbing his eyes before he was able to look over at Deuce who was holding Jackson in his arms.

"Jackson!" He shouted, snapping out of his sleepiness, opening the door wide and grabbing Jackson from Deuce's arms and rushing him into the bed. "What happened here?" He asked as he moved to get out his medical kit from under the bed.

Deuce shook his head, "He was just staring off into the water when I came up to him and he was talking just fine, I think he was trying to connect to Holt, but after I got mad and walked away he started to pale and space out, next thing I knew he was falling to the ground out cold." Deuce rushed out trying to remember everything. He watched the doctor take all of Jackson's vitals before nodding slowly to himself and turning to face Deuce. "Tell me everything that was happening around you at that moment."

Deuce was taken aback a bit before answering, "Can I ask why?"

The doctor just looked at Deuce before sighing, giving a side eye to Miss Ivory who was smiling in the corner of the room not bothered by anything. "Because his trigger is changing and I need to know what to start testing for."

Deuce gave him an even more confused look, "Test? Like how are you going to test that?"

Dr. Jekyll just shook his head, "Never you mind, just tell me everything."

Deuce glared at him crossing his arms and taking in Jackson laying on the bed still out, "what is going to happen if his trigger did change?"

"It isn't if anymore it is, and" Dr. Jekyll trailed off looking at the floor, "and this one, this is the last trigger change, so whatever caused it, will forever be his trigger."

"So if it is something that can happen at random?" Deuce started, "Then he will have to be in the night classes?"

"Or taken out of school completely," Dr. Jekyll whispered out, "It depends on how this will affect Holt...This will be more painful for him," He looks over at Jackson and places his hand on his shoulder, "It will depend on whether Holt can handle his nature...or…" He didn't finish as Deuce just stared at the man in front of him.

"Or what?!" He shouted, making Dr. Jekyll flinch. "It is a long story Deuce, but all I can tell you is to tell me everything then go back to your dorm room,"

Deuce glared but started into his story as he tried to remember everything, even telling him about his ghoulfriend problems," He nodded and only asked a few clarifications before looking over to Miss Ivory, "Thank you for having Deuce bring him here now can you go get the nurse?" She nodded at him before placing her hand on Deuce's shoulder and moving him to the door, "You heard what he said now to the dorm!" She said, trying to sound concerned.

Deuce did what he was told but didn't stop thinking of what Dr. Jekyll said, what did he mean if Holt couldn't handle his nature? Sure he was a douche bag, but he wasn't evil? If anything Jackson could be more evil than Holt just from how calculating he could be, Holt was random but Jackson made sure. Sitting in one of the larger chairs by a fireplace he stared at the ashes trying to gather his thoughts, did Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde go through this as well? Did his father before him? Deuce's concerns were rushing around him before something fluffy touched his arm. "Deuce you look like you just saw an evil ghost." Clawd said as he took the seat across from him and Gil sat on the back of Deuce's chair, "Yeah man, you do look a bit off."

Deuce just gave them a look, "Jackson passed out in front of me and I took him to his father," Deuce said remembering everything very clearly, "His father says that his trigger changed,"

Clawd and Gil gasped a bit before leaning closer, "does that mean Holt could be out more?" Clawd whispered before shivering a bit, "I don't like that idea."

"Me either man, but it could also mean he could be out less." Gil chimed in before getting a nod from Clawd, "I mean it shouldn't be too bad, Jackson might just be tired for a few days while he recovers."

Clawd nodded still looking at Deuce who was still staring at the ashes, "Come on Deuce he will be fine!"

Deuce just shook his head, "His father seemed very concerned." He looked up at them before stating, "Jackson and Holt could be taken out of school if this doesn't end well for either of them."
