This chapter is just to give some background on how :Dolphins vampires work and some of their abilities. This was copied and pasted by SmilingDolphins amazing friend, Jeckzi the polar bear (a different one, not the sax player). Why is a dolphin friends with so many polar bears? LOL.

Powers and Abilities

Charm:

Charm is an ability some vampires have that allows them to manipulate the opposite sex into doing their bidding. Charm is truly a terrible power, as the affected have reported feeling a sense of lost hope and deep emotional scaring after being forced to do something. Charm has its limits though. The more people you are affecting at a time, the more likely they are to resist. The more someone believes in a set of morals, the more the charmer has to work to get them to violate them. How far you can take the charm depends on the mental strength of you and the one being charmed, the resilience of the one being charmed, as well as other factors. These vampires have shown to have the charm power: Judy, Nick, Dagger, and Sorina.

Self Heal/Quick Heal:

Self Heal allows the vampire to heal himself in a quick fashion from terrible injuries. Most of the time, it can save the vampire from life-threatening injuries as long as the vampire has enough time to initiate the healing process. Using this healing usually drains the vampire greatly. Thus it is not to be used to heal yourself in the middle of battle, as you will likely fall asleep once your wounds close. These vampires have shown to have the Self Heal ability: Luca, Dagger, Crodut, Cappi, Judy, and Nick.

Super Strength:

Almost all vampires have super strength. The amount of strength usually depends on how long you have been a vampire. Animals who were born vampires will have greater strength at the age of 10, than a vampire who was just turned and is the age of 30. This strength also varies between species. Some vampires, like Borya, Judy, and Nick, have shown unique strength, surpassing other vampires.

SuperSpeed:

Almost all vampires have increased speed. Most vampires can run at a top speed of 80 mph. This speed allows vampires to do things such as run on water and cross great distances in a matter of seconds. Some vampires, such a Cappi, Nick, and Judy have shown to have more than average speed, with Cappi being a huge outlier with his top speed supposedly recorded at 1,800 mph.

Weather Manipulation:

This ability is quite rare in vampires. This power allows the vampire to temporarily cause a weather event to happen. Most of the time, it is used in the form of generating fog or causing a lightning strike. This ability is only seen once, used by an unknown vampire in the chapter "The Attack". As this vampire is now dead, there are currently no records of another weather manipulator in the Prima records.

Super Bark:

Not much is known about this ability, as it is very new. The only vampire recorded having this ability is Nick. It is currently believed it will only be possible in canine vampires. Nick is one of only 8 recorded canine vampires. Most vampires are from the feline family. As of current, this power is described as a sound so loud and thick, it forms a solid wall, capable of moving objects or vampires. The sound can be directed by Nick, kept in a certain area. As the bark reaches almost 200 decibels, it would mean death within 5 minutes of hearing the sound. Luca experienced it when he wasn't a vampire, and the sound instantly burst his eardrums, causing waterfalls of blood to gush from his ears. The force from the bark also broke his muzzle and cracked his ribcage.

Golden Kick:

Judy is the only known vampire bunny, so no research has yet been conducted on this power. All that is known is that it has many uses, and seems incredibly effective when combined with Nick's Super Bark.

The Prima Clan

The Prima clan of vampires is one of the oldest clans still around. Their name quite literally means "The Firsts". The clan is comprised of around 1,500 vampires. The leader and head of the clan is Alina Sangelui. Some well-known vampires of the clan are Taylor, Borya, Alexandru, and Cappi.

Borya Sabet Aleksei is a Russian bear. He is the guardian of the clan as he is immensely strong. He is currently 34 years old.

Borya is a full vampire and requires blood, but he was born without fangs. This causes him to have to drink the blood from a cup or straw. Even with his defect, he is an immensely strong vampire. As of right now, he has a record of bench pressing an M1 Abrams tank for 150 reps. The only stronger vampires than him might be Nick and Judy.

Borya is well known, in both the normal and vampire world. The normal animals know him as the friendly security guard of Bran Castle, who only gets angry if you try to enter the castle, but otherwise loves to strike up a conversation. Vampires know him as the guardian of the Prima Clan. At night, he patrols the borders of the castle, where he deters the constant threat posed by the hunters guild. He is also known for having the highest record of hunter kills, with him having disposed of over 40 hunters from the guild.

Borya's boyfriend is Alexandru, the family's butler. They feel a connection with one another, as both of them feel like they are odd ones out for having no fangs. Whenever Alexandru is on break, he can usually be found hanging out with the bear in the booth next to the gate, watching movies together. Borya has a room in the castle but usually sleeps in his booth during the day, as he is up most of the night.

Alexandru Jumatate Unul is the Blood family's butler, chauffeur, cook, and (previously) nanny. Alexandru is a vampling, which means he is only half-vampire and has no fangs(or any need for blood). He has the strength and speed of a vampire and the red eyes of one.

His mother was a normal Lynx, while his father was a vampire.

Not much is known about him, except for the fact that both of his parents are dead, killed by the people of the primitive village he used to live in.

He showed up one night at the castle, looking for work. The Bloods hired him, and he has pledged himself to them.

He is currently 142 years old.

It is not known where or how he received his scar. It is believed to have been from a silver enchanted blade, as it has not healed in the slightest in the 89 years he has been working for the Bloods. He does not like to talk about his past. He switches on and off between dark and brooding, and bright and happy.

Alexandru's boyfriend is Borya, the guardian of the clan. When Alexandru is on break, he can usually be found hanging out with Borya in the booth next to the gate, watching movies together. Borya is the only one Alexandru allows to call him Alex. Alexandru gets very angry with anyone else who does this, and will always reprimand them, even if they are his boss, as he did the one time Luca called him Alex.

Cappi Nuncio Tasso is an Italian badger and part of the Prima Clan. He is 76 years old.

He is the clan's messenger, as he can move faster than most vampires. Most vampires leave "trails" behind them when they move, similar to how you can see a circle whenever you look at a propeller. You can still tell it's moving. Cappi, however, has been know to simply disappear and reappear up to a mile away within only 2 seconds. without being provoked to have a quick response. When a vampire is surprised, their adrenalin moves much faster, as do signals from their brain. This causes the animal to turn into a vampire much faster. Because of Cappi's speed, it is not recommended to surprise him in any way as this has shown to have disastrous effects, with one such incident resulting in over 2 million dollars worth of damage, hospital bills, and repair costs when Cappi was scared by a clown as a prank.

Cappi uses his speed to deliver messages faster than any post-service could. Cappi's top speed has been recorded to be whopping 1,800 miles per hour (2,900 kph). He has the ability to run on water, which most vampires can do as the required speed to run on water is 67 mph, and most vampires can move at a top speed of 80mp, but he still surpasses almost every vampire known. His stamina is also unrivaled. While vampires can run very fast, they get tired after only about 30 seconds at top speed, just like a normal human. Cappi, however, has been known to run at top speed for up to 2 hours before needing to rest.

Cappi spends most of his time in Italy. He does not belong to the Italian clan, but still enjoys being in his home country. Italy and Romania are on good terms, so there is no rivalry or hard feeling from either party.

The Blood Family

Mrs. Alina Doamna Sangelui is a Eurasian Lynx and is the head of the Prima Clan of Vampires. She is the matron to the "Of Blood" family. She is 235 years old

She lives with her husband Luca Domn Al Sangelui, which means Luca, the Lord of Blood, who is 297 years old.

Alina lives in Bran Castle, in Bran, Romania.

Her name translates to Alina, the Lady of Blood.

She had 3 children.

Her oldest child is Crodut Fiul Sangelui, which translates to Crodut, the Son of Blood. He is 25 years old.

Her middle child is Sorina Fiica Sangelui, which means Sorina, the Daughter of Blood. She is currently 22 years old.

Finally, her youngest child is not her own, but a young red squirrel female she turned into a vampire. Her name is Doina Mic De Sange, which means Doina, the Little One of Blood.

Alina formally adopted her when she saved Doina from a horrific car crash that resulted in over 10 deaths, including Doina's mother, father, and brother, with Doina being the only survivor. Doina is 19 years old.

Bran Castle is the castle that Dracula supposedly lived at. Alina hates this as Dracula (or Animicula, in this case) was just a movie vampire, and completely made up.

Mr. Luca Domn Al Sangelui is a Eurasian Lynx and part of the Prima Clan of Vampires. He is the patron of the "Of Blood" family. He is 297 years old.

He lives with his wife, Mrs. Alina Doamna Sangelui, which means Alina, Lady of Blood, who is 235 years old.

Luca lives in Bran Castle, in Bran, Romania.

Crodut Fiul Sangelui is a Eurasian Lynx and part of the Prima Clan of Vampires. He is the son of Luca and Alina Sangelui. He is currently 25 years old.

Crodut is a vampire, like his mother and father. His name translates to Crodut, the Son of Blood.

Crodut lives with his mother, father, and 2 sisters in Bran Castle, in Bran, Romania.

His oldest sister is named Sorina Fiica Sangelui, which means Sorina, the Daughter of Blood. She is currently 22 years old.

His youngest sister is a young red squirrel female his mother turned into a vampire. Her name is Doina Mic De Sange, which means Doina, the Little One of Blood. Doina is 19 years old.

Sorina Fiica Sangelui is a Eurasian Lynx and part of the Prima Clan of Vampires. She is the daughter of Luca and Alina Sangelui. She is currently 22 years old.

Sorina is a vampire, like her mother and father. Her name translates to Sorina, the Daughter of Blood.

Sorina lives with her mother, father, older brother, and younger sister in Bran Castle, in Bran, Romania.

Doina Mic De Sange is a Red Squirrel. and part of the Prima Clan of Vampires. She is the adopted daughter of Luca and Alina Sangelui. She is currently 19 years old. Her name means Doina, the Little One of Blood

Doina's past is a tragic one. At the age of 6, she was in a huge car accident. She was saved by Alina, who used her vampire superspeed to dodge flying pieces of shrapnel and grab Doina, right before a sharp piece of metal would have killed her. By the time Alina had dropped off Doina a safe distance away, she rushed back to the crash. At that point, it was too late to save anyone else. The crash resulted in over 10 deaths, including Doina's mother and father, and her older brother. Alina escaped and went back to Doina. She told Doina what had happened, and asked her if she would like to come live with her. Doina agreed and Alina adopted her. She turned her into a vampire and accepted her into her family.

Doina gained a mother, father, and two siblings when she came to Bran Castle.

Her older brother is named Crodut Fiul Sangelui, which means Crodut, Son of Blood. He is 25 years old.

Her older sister is named Sorina Fiica Sangelui, which means Sorina, the Daughter of Blood. She is currently 22 years old.

She lives in Bran Castle in Bran, Romania.

Vampire Weaknesses

One thing most legends got right is vampires' weakness to garlic. Garlic is similar to sulfuric aid to them, and if they come in contact with too much(especially pure, liquid garlic extract) it can literally "melt" them.

Silver. While silver is much more famous for werewolves, it is also the only metal that can easily penetrate a vampire's skin. Many different things can happen to wound caused by silver. Sometimes it heals completely, as in Nick's case. Sometimes with more powerful silver weapons, it can leave a scar, like with Alexandru. The wound will smoke and burn for days, causing extreme pain. Sometimes, lesser vampires will disintegrate on contact.

Wooden stakes. Wooden stakes can be used to harm vampires, but they will not have the same effect as silver. Usually, wooden stakes or arrows will just penetrate the skin and cause pain.

Sunlight. Sunlight, while bothersome to vampires, is not a death sentence as many stories make out. It is only bothersome as a vampire's eyes are made to see in darkness. High light levels hurt their sensitive eyes. It is a simple fix of closing the window or changing to normal to escape the irritation. Romania is a perfect place, as it is usually cloudy and gray.

Vampire Strengths

Blood is a simple but effective way to strengthen a vampire. Blood will clear their senses and can speed up healing processes. It can also give them temporary strength boosts when specific types of blood ingested. O type blood is currently the best blood to be given.
