Danny looked at the learner's permit in his hands and grinned. He pulled out his phone and dialed.
"Sam! I got it!"
"You got it? Oh my gosh, congratulations!"
"Yeah! I've got a paper copy of it now, but the actual permit should come in the mail in a couple of weeks or so."
"That's amazing! We should celebrate."
"Hey, thanks for helping me study. I couldn't have done this without you."
"That's what girlfriends are for. So, how do you want to celebrate?"
"How about we plan a day at the water park tomorrow?"
"That sounds great!"
"Can you call Tucker and see if he's free tomorrow? I've gotta call my parents to pick me up."
"Sure. See you later tonight?"
Danny grinned. "See you later tonight."
As he hung up, he suddenly had the urge to first check his notes app. He opened it.
"I don't remember writing that," he said to himself.
He clicked on it, and the note opened, revealing a single word.
