Chapter 10: Meet Your Alaskan Cousins Bella

Bella's POV

It has been a month since Edward has come back. I feel like everything is back to normal, well to a point. Emmett and Jasper are worried that Edward will leave me again. That and that I might spiral out of control like I did last time he left me. But as for me, well I think that as long as I have my family then all will be as right as rain.

Edward's POV

It's been a month since I've been back and I can't believe how stupid I was for leaving. I mean sure I thought that it was a good idea at the time but now I find it stupid.

As I watched Bella along with Emmett and Jasper walking and laughing I heard a car pull up to the house. It was Kate's car. As I looked into the car I saw that Kate had brought her sisters, Tanya, and Irina.

"What are you three doing here?" I asked curious as to why they had come.

"We came to check in on you." Tanya said as she closed the car door.

"Yeah we haven't heard from you in a month. So we got concerned that something was wrong." Kate added.

"I'm sorry for causing you concern." I said realizing that I should have at least called them and updated them as to how I was doing.

"That's ok. It gave us an excuse to come here and finally meet this Bella that you talked about." Irina said.

"Irina, Tanya, Kate? To what do we owe this pleasure?" Carlisle asked as he came outside. By this time I was right next to Kate giving her a brotherly hug.

"Well we haven't heard from Edward in a month and we wanted to check up on him." Tanya said as she and Carlisle embraced each other.

"Well we're glad to have you none the less." Carlisle said.

After everyone huge one another we went inside. Once inside we all sat down and talked for a while. Before we all knew it Bella, Jasper, and Emmett came back.

"We got the mail for you dad." Bella said giving Carlisle the mail and a hug.

"Thank you Bella. I would like you to meet our cousins from Alaska. This is Tanya, Irina, and Kate. Ladies this is Bella." Carlisle said with pride and love.

"Hello. It a pleasure to meet all of you." Bella said as she left Carlisle and walked over to me.

"Well Edward I can see what you mean. She is a very special girl." Tanya said with an approval smile on her face.

"You really think so? I mean you don't even know me." Bella said with uncertainty in her voice.

"Well from what Edward and Carlisle have told us we can tell that you are one of a kind." Kate said with reassurance.

"Thank you. For your kindness that is." Bella said.

Jacob's POV

As I drove with my dad up to the Cullen's house, you could feel the tension in the car. My father just realized that the Bella that I was talking about all these years was none other than Charlie Swan's daughter. And my father's goddaughter. So needless to say that this visit should be interesting.

Billy's POV

As we pulled up to the house all I could think of was Charlie's daughter Bella. I can't believe that for the past four years she has been here in Forks. I wonder if she's safe living here with vampire's.

I watched as Jacob knocked on the door. When the door opened I heard my son say, "Hi Esme. Can we come in? My father would like to meet Bella."

"Of course you may come in. Just be for warned that three of our cousins are here as well." Esme said as we entered the house. "They're in the living room Jacob."

As we entered the room I knew that all eyes were on us. But I didn't care, that is until I saw a pair of brown eyes in a sea of yellowish gold eyes. I knew right away that this was Bella. She had Charlie's eyes.

"Hey Bella. How are you doing?" Jacob asked. Right away Bella leapt to her feet and ran over to my son with a big smile on her face.

"Hey Jake. Who's this?" She asked looking at me.

"B…Bella S…Swan?" I all but choked out.

"Well it was. Now it's Bella Swan Cullen. I took my family's last name. However, when I'm in school its Swan for now. I'm still trying to convince my family to let me use my Cullen last name. But that's another story for another time. You must be Jacob's father. I have heard so much about you." Bella said with warmth in her voice.

"Y…yes I am Jacob's father. And also your godfather." I said I could see the look of confusion on everyone's faces apart from Jacob's.

"You're my what?" Bella asked not sure she understood what I had just said.

"Well before your father Charlie died he had asked me if I would be your godfather and I of course agreed to it. So yes if you'll have me I would like to be your godfather." I explained.
