p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"Shortly after the discovery of Lorelei's kidnapping, Ene gives Tiir and I leave to head to the rendezvous point. Since she doesn't want us going alone, we are currently leading about fifty other God's Eye bearers./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanAs we walk, Tiir and I take the time to talk. "How're you, Skye?" Tiir asks me./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Funny thing to ask a mother whose baby was stolen," I sigh./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanTiir places his arm around me. "We'll get her back. I promise," Tiir smiles at me./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"I'll hold you to that," I smirk. We continue to walk in silence after that, intent on finding our Lorelei. I just hope she'll be alright./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanA short time later, we reach Crescent Rock. It appears deserted at first. That is, until Lir Orla steps out of the shadows with Lorelei clutched in his arms. "Well, it's about time you showed up," he sneers at us./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanI return the glare. "Give Lorelei back or we WILL kill YOU!" I growl in rage./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"You and what army? Those Cursed Eye bearers behind you? They won't be enough to defeat me!" Lir laughs at our expense./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanLorelei starts crying a little and reaches towards me. My maternal instincts kick in. I lunge towards Lir, my eyes glowing red. Lir smirks at me. "Lightning beasts!" He calls. The beasts of lightning race towards me. I try to use my three-spiked against them, but they break through and slam me into a tree./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanI look up from my position at the base of the tree. I see Tiir's eyes widen. He's worried about me I'm sure. I manage to stand, if only to let Tiir know that I'm alright. At least relatively alright considering I was about torn to shreds just now. I glance back at Lir, who is smirking at his small victory. "You won't win!" I growl./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanLir hands Lorelei to one of his lackeys who had only just appeared from the trees. "We will see… Lightning beasts, devour her!" Lir calls out./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanI unleash my three-spiked weapon against him once more. This time, I manage to dodge the lightning beasts and wrap my weapon around Lir. I use it to slam him into a tree. The same tree he slammed me into (don't even ask me how I managed to fling him backward into that particular tree). He connects with the tree with a sickening crack before falling to the ground. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"Lir doesn't move, doesn't even flinch or groan. I kneel beside him to check his pulse. He has none. "Ha. I won, you sick bastard," I gasp out, exhausted from the battle./span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanTiir comes up beside me. "Skye, are you alright?" He asks, worry lacing his tone./span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;""Yes, I'm fine. Where's Lorelei?" I ask. I'm worried for my baby./span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;""She's safe. Keppel has her," Tiir responds, motioning to one of the God's Eye bearers we brought along./span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;""Please, let me have her. I want my baby," I reach toward where she's currently giggling./span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;""Wait, Skye. First, we need to get your wounds healed," Tiir stops me and has another God's Eye bearer fire magic at me./span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"Once I devour the magic and my wounds are healed, I grab Lorelei from Keppel's arms and cuddle her close to me. Tiir hugs the both of us tightly. He also looks relieved to see that we're both alright./span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"When we're done hugging and generally being relieved, I turn to Tiir. "Let's go home."/span/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"Tiir just smiles and nods his head at me. Together, we lead the other God's Eye bearers back home. We're all safe at last./span/p
