Senku then went to the factory while Rem left to secure an appointment with Ms Crusch.
Once at the factory Senku had a devilish smile, Nitric acid didn't have many uses except for dissolving precious metals as aqua regia, but boy I got a whole lot for cheap. You add this and the sulphuric acid which is fairly easy to produce with the catalyst kit I have we have 1 of out two propellants ready. You first burn sulphur and then oxidise the sulphur dioxide to form sulphur trioxide you then mix it with this small sample I made beforehand and then you dilute this oleum in water

After teaching this process to some of the workers Senku took the already produced amount and mixed it with a portion of Nitric acid he got for ultra cheap he then dropped some cotton balls made it absorb the liquid and then told the other workers to air dry it.

Now with one of the propellants done Senku walked off to tell the workers of the next step how to extract biodiesel from Animal fats this took a few hours but Senku was not interested in the biodiesel itself but in the by product that is glycerine. Next up I am doing this alone.

You mix oleum we obtained during the Sulphuric acid synthesis add it to diluted azeotropic nitric acid throw in the glycerol at a slow pace and cool the vessel with running water to avoid a runaway reaction and blowing yourself up and then you slowly cool it down. Once this was done Senku told the others to keep working on the other reactions except the one that produces nitroglycerine. If they were careless there was a real threat that they could blow the entire part of the town off the map. Once this was done the headache from the exposure finally hit him so he sat down and drew the mold designs for the body of the artillery section to the lead craftsman there.
Senku: Mr Joseph we're going to have to pull an all nighter for this one to be casted sanded fit and assembled ready for tomorrow's use

Senku then walked out and saw that a carriage had come to pick him up standing outside it was a familiar old man
Senku: Hey we have met Mr Willhelm remember me?
Willhelm: Yes, I heard you had something to discuss with Ms Crusch so I came to pick you up on her orders
Senku: Thanks I would have fallen somewhere on the road with this exposure headache it's worse than I expected It to be.
They both leave in the carriage it approaches the Karsten manor Senku readies his mind for the negotiation. As they enter the yard it's a beautiful building well adorned and cleaned walls and maintained shrubbery the carriage then stopped after which Willhelm escorted Senku to Ms Crusch's office she sat behind the table in a military attire she asked for him to be seated Rem stood behind him she was waiting here for him after securing an appointment.
Senku: I thank you for showing hospitality to my representative when she was here in your care. I assume she has informed why I am here.
Crusch: Yes, she has however I still don't understand your motive behind it and what I am to gain from it.
Senku: Actually subjugating it now is the best probable future, doing it results in lower deaths of travelling merchants along with the added splendour of killing something that has been a pest for 400 years. Now that I have an idea of it's location.
Crusch: How are you so sure of it's location?
Senku: It's very simple, I know parts of the future because of my ability it's quite finicky, but it's been handy several times now it was how I was aware of the assassination attempt on Ms Emilia's life in this timeline, and how I was able to solve the Irlam village's mabeast attack. I look at the future weigh my options and then step towards the best probable future.
Crusch: So how are you sure about it?
Senku: In my vision I used the speed of the ground dragon as a frame of reference studied two possibilities and drew two loci on the map this gives me a vague idea of where it is. I even plan to fund this entire expedition and finish it without a single causality.
Crusch: I understand your will to take us there but even with this much information whether or not we would confront it remains a question.
Senku: That would be a problem unless I was a beacon to the mabeasts.
Crusch's face went into a state of doubt she looked at Rem.
Rem: It is true, he has saved me in the Irlam village confrontation both with his ability to look ahead in time along with his ability to draw mabeasts to himself.
Crusch: I see that you both are speaking the truth based on what you have said to me I find no problem in agreeing to your plan. However I never thought I would be in doubt at my divine blessing twice in one day. If you would have lied anytime in this conversation, I would have immediately known.

Crusch: But aiming for a victory without a single loss, how are you going to accomplish that, I assume it's one of the metia you designed?
Senku: That is 10 billion percent the right answer between that and this I speedran 250 years of development in science and I have a plan for which some components are still being designed at a factory, the Iron fang members would arrive tomorrow morning at roughly 2 am it would be best if we begin the confrontation before 6 am as straying beyond that from the future wouldn't by good.
Crusch: I agree to your judgement on this matter
Crusch gets up from the table and offers her hand Senku accepts it a temporary alliance is made for the Subjugation of the white whale.
Senku then requests of her to drop him and Rem back at the factory where there was still some work needed to be completed if the weapon was supposed to be ready for confrontation. Once back at the factory Senku was in for a pleasant surprise.
Joseph: Yes the first mold that we used for testing it came out surprisingly well so I took the liberty of having them both cleaned and sent to be assembled.
Senku: It couldn't have been more perfect I better get to work. "Rem I needed your help with something" Senku then took lots of distilled ethanol and diluted the nitroglycerine. Then they froze it after butting it in a bigger container and throwing salt on it. This should desenstitize it making it capable for being transported. Senku then starts to explain the reason, nitroglycerine is very sensitive in its liquid state and can detonate on the slightest shock that is why we freeze it, now tell me when we break it up smaller pieces and put them in these.
Now if my memory serves me right the white whale was roughly 50m long. Geez that's twice the length of an adult blue whale. So going by the square cube law it's weight would be roughly 8 times of that. This means that the white whale is roughly 1.2 million kilograms in weight. I saw it's mouths insides were pink that means it has blood in it's body too which must exist for facilitating oxygen transport to it's brain. So even if Cyanide compounds don't kill it they should make it incredibly sluggish and easy to hit. A lethal dose for it should be around around 5.1 kilograms for the whale, but if I assume that the thing can deal with toxicity well it's better I pack upto one batch that is 6 times the lethal dose, in these shells we should then have about 8 shots for out 12 pounders.
And now to avoid anyone from just dying to it's exposure I will have have to make some antidote, with the stuff here Sodium thiosulphate sounds good. It's simple to make too add sodium Hydroxide to Sulphur at boiling temperature, and we have it!

Senku loaded the heavily modified 12 pounder artillery, poison shots, lead rounds, antidote and a few barrels of other things with him in 3 dragon carriages the guns were heavier than he expected. He was now going to meet up with the iron fang but his main weapon had many things that were problematic and couldn't be revealed in the meeting. But the planning room was where Senku could put to use the two failed loops prior to this one to good use. He did not have the intention of having people killed in this one as well.
